Dutch F-35s and Polish MiG-29s train together over Poland as part of NATO’s Air Policing mission

A Royal Netherlands Air Force F-35 Lightning II fighter fly in formation with a French Air and Space Force Rafale during a training sortie over Poland on 21 March 2023. The French jets flew from Šiauliai Air Base in Lithuania, where they’re covering the airspace over Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania as part of NATO’s Baltic Air Policing mission.

 

The Dutch fighters have been stationed in Poland since late January, and they will conduct enhanced Air Policing and Air Shielding missions until early April.
