Samurai... in Skyrim? Nonsense Maybe some of us think like that. It's nonsense having Samurai in Skyrim. But why there is a samurai weapon and armor? Where it came from? Unless there is a NPC that came from Sakura Land visit Skyrim. In RPG game, having an item should have a story. Where it came from, how player obtain it, to make the weapon and armor has the meaning. Suggestion to add new story, place and NPC. Samurai, ninja, rogue, and Daimyo (Japanese Lord). This will make your samurai outfit or katana have their story. Yes, most of us don't want cute, fluffy and... UwU things from Japan to be added Skyrim. Well, it will ruin Skyrim that brutal and merciless. So, the mod should contain anything in Heian Era. But how about the language? Don't worry, Onmyoji (a spiritual ruler in the Japanese Imperial court; mage from Japan) can solve this by giving player a scroll to understand their language. Since Japanese visitting the Skyrim, it is recommended to not add any creatures and mythology from Japan. The mod should be separated. But any creatures can be summoned by Onmyoji in case to defend their place in Skyrim against dragon.

Hi, I have been wishing for a while now, but so far I have not come across even a single clothing / appearance mod for one of the BEST looking jackets in the game.... the Pozer Series Jackets. I saw someone else request a Samurai Samurai Pozer Jacket! and I wont lie, it was an epic suggestion. Also, It would be really awesome if a modder on this community could come up with a "a B1tch 1.3 Pozer Jacket" as well to go with these pants! Hi is there anyone that can make a mod to change the color of the Atomic Shop Samurai Outfit from Red to blue, black etc. And also to remove the insignia on the armor. If anyone can make a mod like this I would greatly appreciate it!

Before I get started, I'd like to that say any advice for creation & optimization, or for direction on creating anything in this list myself, would be highly appreciated. Intro Currently I'm in the process of creating a new world, Japan, separate from Skyrim itself. However, I can only do so much with the resources available currently on nexus, in conjunction with the Skyhaven style assets already in the game. I've developed a good portion of the area already, but I'm hitting a wall of redundancy due to the lack variation. A quick overview of the land itself [Timeline] Taking place between 1500-1650, when Japan was engulfed in civil war and the Portuguese had just discovered the southern part of the land and had initiated trade, leading to the introduction of Nanban armor, rifles, and outside religion (I plan to link Skyrim religion here in place of Christianity). [Geography] The land itself will be based on that of real Japan, including forests/bamboo forests, marshes/mangroves, mountains, plains, islands(Some possibly volcanic), and areas heavily influenced by other games such as "Ashina & Hirata" from the game "Sekiro, Shadows Die Twice" (Most realistic reference I have). Hey Guys! About 5 (more or less) years ago I played Skyrim with many mods and one of them changed the female (atleast female) version of the "Blades Armor". The armor look very vanilla like but the pants have been changed to look like a skirt (some kind of samurai armor + kimono mix). the skirt was fully animated and with physics. the outfit is very lore friendly and if I remember correctly not skimpy. I hope someone of you might remeber such armor/mod I would LOVE to use this armor for my current playthrough after all this years. Thanks you for your time !

I think it would be nice if the Samurai clothing from the SMT IV protags would fit very nicely with the Skyrim setting, or would just look good in general if done well, the only thing that may not look Lore-Friendly or just off would be the Gauntlet COMP, yes, but in any case that could be either completely removed when making the model or made but given the option to choose between a COMP and COMP-less version of the clothing, and of course adding the different scarf colors and stuff, the female version of the suit would just be the Isabeou suit and in that case you could also add different scarf colors for that version. I'll be honest, i'm not completely sure how this would work but: If this made the whole process easier, there could be a way to extract the P5 SMT IV suits models using RPCS3 or something like that (again, i don't know what i'm saying but you get the idea of what i'm getting into) to, you know, use the textures or something like that, in case that would make it easier in one way or another.

I know you guys are all talented enough to make this possible. It would be nice to have the two worlds collide. Thank you

I always want to play samurai in skyrim but everyone around me is legionnaire and vikings. it would be good if someone making armor replacer to samurai themed armor like in "Blades samurai armor and kimonos at skyrim". stormcloak, imperial adn guard with japan armor and the cloth with kimonos. make the not lore friendly to be the lore.

It would be very nice if one of the skilled mod creators would create a Japanese woman warrior that looked like they'd really been been in a war, instead of the usual Anime product that looks like a Barbie fresh out of the box. BTW, I notice that most of the mods of Japanese origin don't bounce. Can that me fixed?

To anyone wondering "Why Katanas?", the answer is "Why not?"... Seriously if you're not into oriental swords (which is fine) then this mod is probably not what you're looking for. But rest assured there will be a little bit of background to give context to the mod. Katanas are going to be craftable and customizable, with many different blades, hilts, handguards, etc... In the initial release of the mod, there will be more than 200.000 unique Katanas posible through customization. Some of the parts are original designs, while others are inspired by real life Katanas, Movies, TV Shows, Anime, etc. There are plans to add special crafting components too, like wet stone and blade oils, as well as items for settlements like stands to display the Katanas, in case you're a collector. Other items like scabbards and even armor pieces are also planned for future updates. Personally, I'd like to see a greatly expanded Akaviri presence in the next iteration of ES. I really like various aspects of Medieval Japanese culture and would have a lot of fun exploring an open world game based on mythical Medieval Japan...replete with culturally correct creatures, etc.

Hello Nexus Community, My question if it can be answered is, "is it legal to use 3D assets from the game Shogun 2 Total War in a non-profit modification for Skyrim?". The reason I ask this (because I've seen some mods get pulled down (not only from skyrim mods) for copyright reasons) is if it is legal, then I would like to make a request of samurai armor, ported from Shogun 2 as I've seen that they have some pretty decent models/textures. The reason i request is because I know there are some talented modders out there that have more time than I, and more experience than I. I have also seen a lot of "samurai armor/clothes" mods and a lot of them are just re textured blades armors. Yes i know they're great but you can still tell right?
