  1. So this is an annoying glitch/bug/something that I haven't seen or found posted anywhere. All of my mods and whatnot are working perfectly together so far and the game is running like butter. But whenever I go into 3rd person, my character suddenly snaps their head to the right or left and her eyes glance off in that direction as well. There is a noticeable moment where her head goes from facing forward to looking elsewhere. Is she tracking something invisible? I thought for awhile she was tracking the crosshairs since they sit to the right of her body in 3rd person, but she looks left as often as right. As if tracking some distant object. Happens in outside and inside cells. I don't know what the hell is going on. When I aim with a weapon in 3rd person and slowly pan, you can tell that the gun isn't following the crosshairs and there is a distinct moment when her aim passes the field of where she is trying to glance to. Any advice would be a godsend as this game has become absolutely idiotic looking when played in 3rd person.
  2. I downloaded a dice color mod for bg3 and it didn’t work (first time in my life using mods!) I followed an easy tutorial, downloaded the mod manager and mod fixer. The mods didn’t work and I couldn’t figure out why, but w/e. Started the game and couldn’t talk to npc‘s anymore and can’t leave my camp. I started different old savings, I have that bug in every single one of them.. doesn’t matter how far I go back. I deleted all mods from the "mod folder" and also deleted the "modsettings.lsx" as someone mentioned in a thread. Please help me
  3. Please check the Vortex Diagnostics file attached in this post. It is not very long. First time in a while with using Vortex. Last time must've been months ago for Enderal: Special Edition. Still in the same OS, same computer configurations, etc. Here was the result as soon as I set up Fallout: New Vegas into Vortex (brand new installation of both Vortex and F:NV - Failed to update masterlist - Failed to load master-/userlist --- Windows 11. Firewall disabled. Windows Security, everything inside of it that can be disabled has been turned off. Threats history checked every now and then, with no new additions. My network in regards to about anything else in my computer has no issue whatsoever. No additional anti-virus is installed. No additional firewall is installed. Vortex has been re-installed now several times in the last few hours, with its remaining files deleted and also not deleted on some of the other attempts, to no avail. Both the Vortex installation folder and the choice of storage drive into which Vortex was installed was different on each attempt (there were several attempts.) ---------------------------------------- OS: Windows 11, updated to its latest version.   4. My FO4 have some grenade like MFC grenade, Dynamite that didn't show up their model in pipboy, and when I throw it, it's invisible and didn't create explosion.   5. I am having issues trying to get Vortex to stop managing Factorio since it is apparently not supported. When I click "Stop Managing", and "Delete Profile", I get an error that Vortex "Failed to purge". There are no mods downloaded for this game, and no mod folder even exists, yet I am stuck. The only workaround I have found is to uninstall Vortex and delete all files/folders associated with it. This means I also lose all mods to all other games managed by Vortex. Attached are 3 screenshots showing the game, me telling it to delete the profile, and the error. To be clear, I am not asking for Factorio mod support, simply how to get Vortex to stop managing it so I can add other games to be managed.   6. Vortex wont open its just stuck on loading extensions, this happened after i updated to the latest version. And after a few days of use I had to restart vortex. I've restarted multiple times, repaired all my C++ extensions and nothing has worked. I've used the command prompt command "Vortex.exe --set settings.workarounds.userSymlinks=false" To see if that would fix it and that proved no use either. Uninstalling vortex isnt really an option either since i was at 99% of installing an extremely large collection that's taken nearly 4 days to download and I would like to have a fix other than just completely having to start from scratch. I would include my vortex.log but the forum wont allow me to attach it without giving an upload failed error.   7. I think I'm experiencing a bug or something similar. It's not affecting gameplay, but it's really annoying seeing the name, culture, and age displayed everywhere. Does anyone know what might be causing this? I have a bunch of mods installed, and I recently started playing this game again after a break, so I'm not sure if it's a mod issue or a game issue.

Okay, so I've been dealing with this problem for the past week and so far I haven't seen anyone else talk ab For some reason whenever I start the Dwarf Commoner Origin, Rica keeps having the Noble Dress she has at the start of the Paragon of her Kind quest, and even though I've done everything that I could think of to fix it, the problem still remains. I even tried to uninstall all the mods I downloaded shown in the fourth image (save for the BugFixes and Combat Changes mods), and It's still there. I'm also dealing with another issue with the Female Noble Clothing Overhaul Mod also not working for Dwarf Female NPCs that I made a post for on the Mod page but that's probably for a different Topic page.
  9. So my Fem V has this weird texture on her arm. I'm not really sure which mod caused this. Does anybody knows what caused this or know how to troubleshoot it? Thanks in advance
  10. So... I've been playing Skyrim for three years, and I've never had a problem like this. The fact is: for two weeks now, every time I enter somewhere with draugr or ash spawns, the fps drops insanely, except when I enter the menus where everything goes well. This does not cause CTD 2. I have uninstalled and installed the game. 3. I added these and other mods that I have already deleted. 4. In the video, I am playing with the lowest graphics settings. 5. I saw that a user had a similar problem and the "solution" was to Uninstall XPMSE, but in my case it didn't work. 6. Outdoors and other areas where there is no draugr work well 7.   13. Im trying to continue the mission where we find that he is a werewolf but when i tried to talk to him there was no option, neither his name or the press E to talk are there. Is there a way to fix it or to forcefully make him initiate a dialogue? I tried disabling and re enabling him but to no avail.

  15. Hello there BG3 buds! Making a post here looking for a bit of help, because I've been struggling with a bug that's been makes it near impossible to use Hex and Hunter's Mark during my playthroughs. I can't reapply either of those spells once their cast and losing that core effectiveness to Warlock and Ranger is really unfortunate. I do have a ton of mods on so I don't EXACTLY which one (or ones) could be causing it. Does anyone know if there are mods that commonly cause this issue? I'd love to knock this out so I can do my Warlock playthrough again. I'll share my mod list with y'all in text form! I can also share my modpack itself via Google Drive if necessary.   16. I have absolutely no clue what could cause this. I have uninstalled vortex in every way possible, given it administrator, given my entire pc edit access to the entire steam folder, tried CHKDSK twice, and also googled every solution out there... I don't understand why this keeps popping up. This is the first time I have ever seen this and it's only with vortex. Just as a note I can't click manage on any games, it keeps giving me warnings about invalid paths (the path exists so I'm not sure why it cant find the path.) Anybody know the solution??
  17. So I love "Lakeview Manor- as it should be" but the author has locked all comments and bug reports. I want to start this thread here to maybe help some people and get some help if I can! I have had bugs so far and I just found a fix for one of them. I haven't done any testing to see if it would work for different cases but maybe it will work for you. The bugs/glitches I've found: 1: Dropping mod added armor or weapons in the cellar then picking them up. After saving/loading OR traveling to a different cell and back, a copy of the equipment will be respawned in the position you originally placed it while the original will be in your inventory or a container that you moved it to. (also happened when a mod added weapon was placed on a weapon plaque and removed, upon reloading the cellar a copy of the weapon was sitting on the display case under the plaque.) FIXED: upon reloading the cell and seeing a copy of any item that you have previously dropped/picked up OR mounted/unmounted. follow these steps: 1: place the item in your crosshair so you can see the pick up prompt (do not interact with it as its current state is the "spawn state" and that's what we need to fix) 2: press "~" to enter the console 3: click on the duplicated item (the item reference code will now be displayed in the center of you screen and all commands will apply to that item code) 4: type "disable" and press enter (the item should disappear from your display, the reference code may not) 5: Press "~" again to exit the command console 6: save and reload. 2: In the library there is a staff on the left side of the staff enchanter table. it would appear that it is not in the way of the character passing between the main desk and the enchanting table BUT the staffs hitbox is extended way out down the length of it and is reaching to the chair positioned in front of the desk. to get to the staff enchanter I have to go around the right side of the desk. NO FIX YET: attempted to use the mod "placeable statics" to move the staff somewhere it wont be a problem but PS didn't recognize it as an editable mesh. !!!!IF THERE ARE ANY OTHER GLITCHES/BUGS OR FIXES PLEASE REPLY TO THIS THREAD!!!!

When i arrive to Sanctuary at the end of "when freedom calls" Preston runs through some dialog about how i lived there and then at the end he says he's glad to have me in dialog mode with no dialog to complete the quest. I've seen someone with this same issue who hasn't resolved it on another forum. I haven't run into the pines or whatever they're called yet and i've tried using console commands to recycle Preston (even myself). I've tried the remove faction cc too but it didnt make a difference. Does anyone know of any mods that conflict an npc like preston? Any help is greatly appreciated!

I made a collection and it worked, initially, without any issues, then I went to reinstall it without changing anything, with fresh installation of both Skyrim, and Vortex, and ran into the same issue every single time. This is the collection 1k-2k Textures for ESO-UI Mod List | Skyrim Special Edition | Nexus Mods When installing the collection, Vortex will say downloaded 100% and during installation it will suddenly say there are 9 mods not installed nor downloaded: The archives for these mods are in the Downloads folder, and the mods are, in fact, installed and enabled. But Vortex just pretends they are neither downloaded nor installed. Edit: if I do hit "resume installation" for the collection, Vortex will redownload the mods, install them as different versions (duplicates) and enable them as duplicates, and it still shows them as "Download Pending" in the collection page. This can be reproduced with the collection. The collection was created with Vortex 1.11.7, and the issue persists with the same version of Vortex. This completely bricks the collection and its installation process because Vortex will just ignore the load order specified by the collection, which demonstrably worked when the collection was created and published (in the Collection description I have a video linked showcasing the working collection). Furthermore, I cannot edit the collection from my other PC because it cannot be installed due to this issue.
  20. Hey chooms! I'm going to get straight to the point first. Every time I start up Arasaka Tower 3D my game crashes without fail, it is the only problem I have in my game with a bunch of mods installed, every other arcade game works fine along with every other part of my game. That's the problem, here are the details: As soon as I hit play the arcade game crashes my game without fail. Everything in my game works perfectly even though I have over a hundred mods installed. I have modded this game 5 separate times with a set of 200 new mods each time and know all the usual tricks to fix issues but this one has me stumped. Being an experienced modder, I understand that my mods are causing the problem, therefore I understand that I either sacrifice some mods or suck it up, the only issue is I have no clue which mod or mods out of all the mods I have could be the problem. The reason I'm here asking for help is just to have a more experienced player/modder help me figure out what kind of files Arasaka 3D uses so that I can narrow down my search to find the mod that is conflicting with the game or to tell me if there is a solution for this in any way. I have never posted on here but I am now because after a whole day of searching for a solution I realized that this issue isn't brought up, I could literally only find two people that mentioned they were having the same problem as me. So I hope that this post can offer a solution for other people having this issue since Arasaka 3D seems like a super fun part of the game and the car that you get for completing the mystery is awesome! Anyways, if this post is confusing or anyone wants to the know the solution just let me know and I'll be happy to go on the hunt for an answer with you. I love nexus mods because since my first day of PC gaming it has been the greatest community ever and people are always helping each other out and so I want to do my part too (sorry if that last bit is cheesy)

  22. TLDR: I have no deployment methods no matter what I try. I am trying to mod Baldur's Gate 3, but Vortex is having a problem with setting a staging folder for it. I set the staging folder to a folder on the same drive as the game but Vortex thinks it's not the same drive. 'Fixes' say to set the staging folder to the same drive as the game, I have tried that and it doesn't work & running Vortex as Admin didn't work either. Baldur's Gate is installed on F drive and Vortex detects the game is installed on F in 'General - Games'. 'Suggest' Mod Staging Folder thinks the game is on C drive and sets the location to the C 'userdata' folder. Resulting in 'No deployment available'. Vortex knows where the game is, yet it also says that is an incorrect location. I don't know what to do now. This hasn't happened with any other game. Edit: Vortex version STABLE 1.10.8

  24. Hi, since recently, the game messages that appear top left are gone. You know the ones that tell that a mod is installing or LotD telling you if you found an item. It happened from one day to another without me installing any mods or changing anything else. I shut down and when I started playing the next day, the messages are gone. And - maybe related or maybe not - all shouts are silent. Any advice on this? I googeld and only found how to turn the messages off. Thanks in Advance Rari
  25. I have a problem with Jarl Siddgeir. I received a letter to speak with Jarl Siddgeir (to initiate the bandit killing quest), however, no dialogue options appear when I try talking to him. Not even the 2 default dialogue options of "Does your inexperience...." and another one that I forgot. I also noticed this issue with Solaf and Nenya. I managed to fix Solaf's issue by adding him to the merchant faction, but Siddgeir is still bugged. I also noticed that Siddgeir lost his "Jarl" title that should've shown up when you aim your cursor at him. Instead of "Jarl Siddgeir" showing up, it only reads "Siddgeir." Furthermore, Siddgeir no longer sits on his throne but typically hangs around upstairs, using the arcane enchanter. Does anyone know a fix for this? I've looked around and saw that multiple people have this issue. Thanks.
