  1. I would really like if someone could make a standart barrel for Algernon's Revolver. I'm sorry if it is not pissible. I tried to find something like this, but i failed. If you know what i looking for, please share with me.
  2. I need help with a mod that I am making for a "simple" model swap of the Old Earth Assault Rifle. I downloaded a 3D model, converted it to Starfield's nif format in Blender, made sure alignment, scaling, and weight were all zeroed and coordinated with the default meshes, verified it works and looks great in NifSkope, with some minor nudging to correct some misalignments which I then re-zeroed, loaded into the game and the model looked good, but when I change cells or restart the game the entire model breaks. I mean, all the components are disconnected and meshes are being stretched aggressively so, the model also weirdly moves with the player in the preview. I have followed guides, what few I can find anyway, reached out on the modding subreddit, modding discord, and even reached out directly to a few mod makers here with zero response. I am kind of at my wits end with this thing and have no idea where else to go with it. I thinking that my next move is just to wait for Starfield's mod resources to get better. Any help at all is greatly appreciated though as I would love to get this working.
  3. Basically, a perk that lets you fan the hammer while hip-firing a revolver-type weapon and you can shoot as fast as you click (possibly capped at a certain rate for balancing). Maybe tier 2 of the perk: each consecutive shot you land will tighten the grouping for the rest of that cylinder (mag). *I know there are already some mods that let you do this but they are not player-exclusive and they have the same fire rate as the default
  4. Hello forum, currently enjoying a heftily modded playthrough and could honestly say its got almost everything I could want in a single game... almost! Ive had this idea for a while now about the possibility of mods for compressed air/PCP air guns currently available on the market, just like the ones we have for real brand firearms. Some examples include, namely, the big bores like the Seneca Wing Shot, Seneca Dragon Claw, Umarex Hammer, or the AEA Challenger, all firing .357 and .50 cal slugs at 700-1000fps and are used in both hunting and sporting applications. I thought it would be a cool novelty idea all around, kind of want to make an airgun bushcraft-type build Sole Survivor but ive no real know how on mod making myself.   6. I have had this issue before with a different playthrough. I would just drop or sell the gun it was happening to. I now understand a little more so am curious why this happens? I think I read something in the past about it being to do with the death items on an npc, which seems weird. atm I have a combat shotgun and the iron sights are floating above the gun. anyone know a cause or a fix?
  7. Just out of curiosity I'd like to hear from someone that really knows what they're talking about. In pretty much every instance that someone mentions belt-fed weapons it is said that animations are next to impossible, I'm simply curious what makes them so. Is it the lack of moving parts on "magazine" meshes? Can the belt itself not be animated when firing? I just want to understand the issue in more than a vague way.
  8. ever play dead space 3? remember the weapon crafting in that? why hasn't that been a mod in fallout 4? its the direction that i thought bethesda was going in when they first announced it until the released it as it is now. but i'm surprised no one has decided to do that. so you'd have various frames and then those frames allowed different receivers, barrels, and calibers. the pipe weapons would be the lowest level and higher level parts would obviously be unlocked with weapon smith and science. i should of requested this mod sooner, but really i figured someone was already gonna jump on this idea. only problem now though, is that the modding community is late in the game and compatibility is a bit of a issue with other mods now, however, there is AWKCR which might help with this issue. point is, it would be an awesome mod and could be expanded to work with the melee weapons too. the armor however already kinda has it so that i cant imagine changing.
  9. It's just a nuisance for me. It's not exactly a one shot kill gun, so I start shooting aiming through the scope, enemies are getting closer and getting out of field of view, leaves me disoriented when putting gun down swarmed with vermin. It could be a great mid range weapon without the scope though. So if anyone could remove the optics and lower muzzle sight a bit, would be awesome. Even better with Millenia textures.
  10. Howdy! Firstly, there are some fantastic lever action mods out there; Lever Action Customization, Right Handed Lever Gun, Reload Fix, Tube Extension - to name a few. As a real life lever gun enthusiast (Marlin 1894 & Mod 336), I'd love to see a cohesive, all in one package with all of the above and more. A few features I'd like to see; Right Hand Animation Fix - Every single lever action rifle has the loading gate on the right. This is how the model in game should be.Extended Tube Capacity - Makes no sense that adding the long barrel doesn't increase the weapon's capacity.Reload Fix - Bethesda half-assed the reload animations, so no matter how many rounds you fire, you are always reloading five.Caliber Conversions - .45-70 is great, but I'd also like to see .38 and .44 Mag conversions. Others wouldn't really make sense because lever action rifles can only generally fire flat nose cartridges.Stock Material - Options to have polymer, walnut, oak, painted walnut, etc would be fantastic. Having one stock option is boring.Rifle Finish - Again, one option is boring, it would be nice to be able to choose between Stainless and Blued (or even anodized).Iron Sight Options - Continuing in the theme of the last two, there should be a variety of irons for the rifle - XS Sights, Skinner (Winged and Exposed), and maybe even a hooded stock sight option.And that's it! I'd like to see a well done, cohesive mod for one of the game's under-appreciated and under-utilized rifles. I would do it myself, but my modding ability ends at re-textures and the last one I did was in New Vegas.
  11. Looking for a mod that replaces the sound of the Urban Eagle weapon. Currently it is very bleh and sounds nothing like you'd imagine it would sound like. If the sound files weren't all numbered and impossible to decipher, I would immediately replace the sound of the gun with the COD MW Desert Eagle.
  12. I think it would be awesome if we could get the customization system from Escape from Tarkov or even something close to it. It could really open up a lot of fun and crazy possibilities for people.

I have modded Fallout 4 with a little over 20 different gun mods, some of them seem to work aside from these, (there my be more but these are the ones I found) SKS M14 Mosin Nagant I spent a good amount of time looking at 5+ year old forums on how to fix it with no solution to be found, aside from changing ini files, half of which I cannot find. I have made sure to have the basics installed like F4SE and Unofficial Patch, and even made sure to start a new game and still have invisible weapons. Am I missing something here or do the mods no longer work?
  14. Greetings Nexus Starfield community, As a Cold War and retro sci-fi vibes enjoyer, there are the things I would like to see the most asap in my game: I. Cold War weapons as individual or packed mods: Service Rifle like the one remade by DeadPool2099 ;Moon M-16 as seen in the For All Mankind TV show ;Space AK-47, again as seen in the For All Mankind TV show, or even futuristic like the AK from Elysium which has been made for Fallout 4 by FX0x01 ;Some space HK MP5s ;But of course, my weapon of choice would be the famous G-11 'Space Kraut' (also made for Fallout 4 by asXas with fantastic assets) ;That would be nice to have a kind of helmet looking alike the iconic Soviet GSH-6 too! II. Some Aliens stuff because it would clearly have a place in Starfield: Obviously, the M41 Pulse Gun and variants used by the Colonial Marines, with the TNR Lamp obviously, as made for Fallout 4 by AKcelsior ;Some M56 ACT turrets to defend your outposts, as ported from Aliens: Dark Decent for Fallout 4 by Ragnarr1313 ; III. Then a few things to build in your settlement: Some NASA-ish dishes because why not ;Modular prefabs to make some kind of Moon base as seen in For All Mankind ;Some retro terminals, as seen during the 80-90s computers eras ;I don't know why, but I would love to be able to build trenches and military-ish fortifications, as seen in Star Wars or Sandbag Fortifications made for Fallout 4 by Nutulator ;What do you think about those suggestions? And would you like to see some Cold Wars-ish or retro stuff in Starfield? See you space cowboys!

  17. Just throwing this out there. The current Smith & Wesson M&P9 mod that already exists is not great. The textures, animations, and sounds all need work and it doesn't have a lot of customization options. It looks to me like it really was more of a learning experience for a modder who was trying expand and test their skills. Not bad for what it is, but not enough to really blow anyone's minds. It is also based off the older versions of the M&P product line. A complete redux or new mod with more current production versions of the M&P9 would be awesome! Front serrations, suppressor height sights, flashlight options, more variants and customization, etc. Adding in parts based off of custom aftermarket upgrades (slides, triggers, etc) and stuff from the Performance Center, like the newer Competitor model, would be great! The M&P products are severely underrated in real life and are very under-represented in the modding community. Would love to see something on par with either of the Glock 19X mods, Beretta M9A3 (Ardent's), or Subleader's mods! Hope someone will take this to heart and give the M&P9 some love in Fallout 4!
  18. Hello, I am looking for a moderator to ask them a question. I haven't been on the forums in some years but recently I came across an old weapon mod(more a weapon collection mod) that was on NV YEARS ago. The creator removed it and as far as his friend said passed away, not sure if this is true or not and I didn't want to pry out of respect and dignity. I wanted to take along a project to modernize, update, and restore some of the weapons as some of the weapons are stunning and also exceptionally well made. I am new to modding and I want this mod to be a magus opus for myself, I believe there is a form of it on ModdB but I don't really use the site outside of half life stuff so haven't checked. Anyway, I want to speak to a New Vegas Moderator about a few questions if someone can DM me?
  19. I've seen a few mods give turrets different weapons, but I don't know how those are done. I've tried making a turret weapon and putting it in the turret's inventory but nothing works.
  20. Been on a B&T kick and realized that although we have a few B&T mods for Fallout 4 that are really, really good... We don't have one of the most iconic B&T guns. Specifically, the GHM9. My favorite version is the GHM9-G Compact, so that is the model pictured. Would love to see the GHM9 in game!!!
  21. You'd think with all the rapiers and dueling weapons there'd be flintlocks as a sidearm, but no mod seems to have any for u10. It's weird.

  23. As the tittle says, we need a mod for our holstered weapons, something similar the ones for Skyrim and Fallout 4. The character already have the animations to holst/unholst weapons, all we need is to see it, specially the hand guns. Somehing similar to this:
  24. Destiny 2 has some of the most gorgeous guns in all of sci-fi I'd absolutely love to see a passionate modder recreate some of them for Starfield
  25. 60 hours in, getting sick of finding legendary melee weapons all the time instead of guns.
