Everyone is free to ask for help, I am alllllllwaaaays watching.... allllllwaaaays watching. Hello everyone. So it's been a while since Dragon Age: Inquisition came out. There was this extreme annoyance for many people, Leliana hardening if you missed 1 event. This would destroy player's endings, and cause some people to completely start over again. This is a tool to reverse all of that, so long as it is done before Leliana completely hardens. I originally posted this guide on the DAI Tools forums and am re-posting it here because honestly, that site is really difficult to post on, and this site has a MUCH LARGER user base. And therefore, more people who ran into this issue, will find their solution here. Here is my original post with... very few edits, mostly because I feel it is fine how it is. Oh and as always, thanks to ricco19, for it was they who originally gave the clues needed to figure this out for everyone. There is a link to his post on those forums in the following guide. Enjoy! This is verbatim what I said, because it took a while to write and I do not feel like editing it :3 ------------------------------------------------- EVERYONE! I have figured out Ricco19's method for fixing Leliana if you botched up without knowing it!Stay tuned for I will be posting a guide on this Topic on how to do it. It is FAR easier than Ricco19 stated can can be done within 10 minutes. I shall be editing this post with the Guide, complete with pictures. ------------------------------------------------ Update #3!I was informed that my images broke. I re-uploaded them to a different site and re-posted them in the guide! Sorry for the inconvenience! Update #2!I realized I forgot to put in a step, it is down below in the appropriate section. The first step after opening Hex Workshop for the first time. Update!As far as I know, this fix deals with fixing the first encounter you have with Leliana that matters, dealing with her in the Chantry, and determining the fate of the traitor agent. I do not know exactly what it has to do with the second encounter, where you tell her she was right to pull back her agent. This is simply steps on how to replicate what ricco19 did. Alright, as already stated, this is a guide on how to soften Leliana before doing her personal quest, so that she doesn't go ape !@#$. First thing's first.This method is for if you MISSED the event that happens at Haven with Leliana. The game considers a missed event as a False flag. Since you missed it, one cannot use the save tool to change it to true.I was not the one who came up with this method. We have ricco19 to thank for this. Open Hex Workshop and then Options, then Toolbars... A window will pop up and you need to check Data Operations and click Ok. Without this you will not see the Block Shifting operators. After that we are going to Block Shift Right(Wait for this to execute, the larger the file, the longer it will take, have patience) then use the Find Function again after each shift until a match is found.   2. You know what its like, you've walked across Skyrim, picked up some good loot and got some quests but the game hasn't auto-saved in a while because you haven't gone through any doors. All of a sudden you're accosted by 200 feral rabbits that have been modded to do 5'000'000 damage and your last save point was 2 hours ago. The auto-save mods aren't 100% suitable or useful especially if they're based on time which is either too much or too little. Sure you can autosave with a hotkey but sometimes you're immersed and you forget. we've all been there. Anyway, what I propose is an auto-save feature that saves the game when you have accumulated enough XP from Z4X's Experience mod. You set the XP in a MCM menu based on how much you think you'd have to accomplished to be worth autosaving and then you're good to go. Does such a thing exist? Is it even possible? P.s is it bad form to come up with a mod idea based on somebody else's mod? I feel like that involves them without asking them. I would have messaged Z4X but I don't know how to do that on Nexus Profiles so apologies if you see this and it offends you! Thanks
  3. It's common knowledge now that scripts are hode-coded (baked) into a save file when you add an esp onto your game. Therefore deleting it during a throughout can cause papyrus errors and constant searches for properties that no longer exist. But why can't you just delete those scripts added by the mod from the data folder. I've heard this doesn't work and I don't really know why. As for updating, as a mod author how does one go about this if the information has been baked into the save? For example, If I want to patch a bug which would require new scripting, could I remove the old script, replace them with new one and have them swap the old .esp for the new .esp or is the save already "tainted" and would they have to start afresh?
  4. im looking for a mod or save file that the thieves guild and main quests only are completed im trying skooming skyrim but due to TG quests meangeling with the mod i cant just start a new champ and go sell drugs lmao im surprised this save is not already a thing the closest ive found if main quests and all guilds quests complete- i do not want all guilds only TG because i would like to play the other guilds ive always done TG from the start and im sick of doing the quests over and over, can someone please make me a clean save with only TG and main quests done idk if people are still making mods for this anymore but i hope

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post but this is my problem: Every time I load up my game after about 10 seconds I get a CTD, it also happens as soon as I talk to Borkul the beast I'm not sure if this is relevant but the save I'm loading is in Cidhna Mine, I also started the quest "no one escapes Cidhna Mine" and ended the previous quest with console commands due to the fact that eltrys had died and it wasn't continuing the quest because of some glitch. EDIT: I loaded an earlier save and it still crashes after a while, also these random CTDs have been happening for a while after I installed a few mods, however I disabled these mods and it still crashes. Is this then not caused by mods (as it didn't crash before the new mods), or have the mods caused a permanent problem and I have to start a new save? EDIT 2: Also crashes when I fast travel
  7. TL; DR: ''Save at any couch or bed without having to sleep'' You know how in Dark Souls bonfires were used to not only rest but also save? Bethesda adopted a similar mechanic in Survival mode but I don't like the way it's been implemented for the following reasons: 1) sleeping makes time pass so you get hungry and thirsty; 2) while you sleep a radiation storm can swoop in, damaging or even killing you if you already have lots of rads; 3) there's a random chance to get sick for seemingly no reason; 4) some mods like Frost add wheather types that involve constant rad emission, preventing you from sleeping since you're taking radiation damage. As you can see, sleeping forces you to spend resources AND puts you in danger when all you wanted to do was just save the damn game! ''Just use one of the million Survival mode saving mods, dumbass'' Good idea! I did use them in fact, however while extremely handy I feel they take away from the whole survival thing as they enable you to save anywhere, anytime. Of course you COULD control yourself to save only under certain self-imposed circumstances but it feels very artificial when you know that in reality you can actually savescum all you want Thus, here's the mod idea I'd like to request. In soulsurrender's great Sofa Surfer mod, when you move your cursor over a couch you get a new prompt enabling you to sleep on it Similarly, Restin' Souls also gives you a prompt but to make saves (the ones that are normally created when fast traveling, entering/exiting cells...) and hard saves instead (the ones you can make in the pause menu). For immersion's sake they can be respectively called L) Relax and P) Rest but obviously that wouldn't be up to me to decide. Actual sleeping would remain unchanged. A holotape or MCM menu can be implemented for keybind customization, alternatively allow players to do that through the mod's .ini That is all, see you around lads

  9. I realize this is a somewhat unusual request, as this should be a very simple achievement to finish. I've constructed a dozen robots with well over one hundred mods, in different settlements, uninstalled game mods and everything else i can think of. As its the last achievement beguiling me I've decided to give this a try as i noticed there were some others. Any assistance or suggestions would be grand. Thanks! AA
  10. Both exit saves and auto saves are larger than ones I make manually although, according to Fallrim Tools, both have the same content. Does anyone know why this is?
  11. Hi there, I currently have a save on Skyrim Special Edition, modded. I was playing it earlier today without any issues, and saved it in Alftand, while doing that "Discerning the Transmundane" Quest. I come back from work, try to load the save and it immediately crash to desktop. I AM able to start a new game just fine, but for some reason that save just crapped out. The crash log file mentions some sort of BGSSaveLoadManager, whatever that is. It was mentioning that DynDOLOD was a possible issue before, but I completely deleted that and got rid of it. This is the only save file I have for this character (I have a bad habit of deleting all older saves while making a new one), so if it is possible to fix this issue, please any help would be appreciated!   12. I'm kinta desperet here. have this problem for long time now and i cont find fix. After of few hours of game play on the fallout4 i cont save my game with out get crash on destop. the problem is i have to go back of a lot of saves to be able to save again. but again after few hours then i save it crach again. One solution i have find is to disable all my mods load my game and then save it. But this it will Destroy every progress and senttlemet i have build from ss2 mod
  13. My problem is quite specific, but at the same time probably simple. While playing UNSLAAD on my 400+ hour save, that i have probably butchered, because of the few mods i've removed/added throughout my playthrough. (Granted i only either had them around from the start planning to play them, but then realizing they were broken as some were from the LE version. And as for the others i just didn't feel like using them anymore or were replaced by another mod that did a similar or better job.) My saves suddenly started crashing on me while loading. Every other save before a certain point works fine, but after deafeating a few more enemies and making some progress, the saves start to be corrupt or something. They can't even be opened with a save editor like ReSave from FallrimTools. I wrote about my problem on the UNSLAAD SE page, only to later be told that it's not because of the mod. Which i confirmed by using a much earlier save and getting past my previous progress, saving and loading without any issues. While testing and trying all kinds of nonsensical things i did manage to make some small progress, but it was to naught as even trying to skip some bits of the quest didn't help. Granted there are probably a TON of more things i could try if i wanted to just keep playing from my latest saves, but the point is that i WANT to finish the mod with my save. Plus the issue could resurface later even if im not playing UNSLAAD . . . I somehow managed to get quite a bit further by disabling the quest mod i finished right before this one, Glenmoril, but that only lasted until i returned to the main Unslaad area, where the autosave worked, but any other save i tried to do after it did not. And yes, autosaves also don't work after mine stop working. If you are wondering the quest where i am "stuck" on is at the end of Act 2. I have not done copious amounts of testing as i feel like im getting beaten everytime the game crashes, plus that it takes awhile for it to even start with all my mods and the ENB, plus i generally feel like ass... TLDR: My modded Skyrim SE started making corrupt saves at some point that make my game crash when loading them, while i was playing a quest mod. And i would really appreciate any help and if possible a solution to this problem.

  16. 1. Sorry if this is in the wrong area 2. Hey y'all I'm having a weird bug. I loaded up a recent save and as the title says all my mods lost progress. Quest mods such a sim settlements are back at the first quest. Armor from mods is no longer in inventory and has to be re-crafted. I need to add back hair styles. Settlements are empty. I had this happen recently before and I just figured it was a new mod I added that corrupted my save and made a new play through. But I don't have the mod and this still happened. I've modded since day one and haven't had this bug before. Also I have noticed that in the workshop the order of icons of settlement mods changed. Any ideas?
  17. Hi. I have a VERY old saves (from late 2012 / early 2013) that have my biggest progress I've ever made in Skyrim. But obviously, they were made with old version of Skyrim (even before LE) and with mods I don't remember now... Surprisingly, my LE of Skyrim managed to load one of those saves, but I'm afraid the game could crash after some time of gaming with this save. I found a tutorial how to clean a save and it says that you shouldn't remove and add mods at the same time (which with this save would most likely happen) and of course, it wasn't written for such old saves... So I'd like to know whether there's a way to effectively clean this old save without risking CTDs every ten minutes. :) Thanks.
  18. I have a ton of mods but the infinite loading screen only seems to happen after I save and quit to return later at specific locations. The first time i ran into this problem, I had entered Whiterun and saved and exited. Later I tried to load it up and got stuck with an infinite loading screen and the sound of water, like a running river. I was able to boot the game up by just loading a save outside of whiterun. Didn't run into the problem again. Later on, I went to Dawnguard and got the quest to go to Dimhallow Crypt to kill vampires. So I go and kill most of the vampire but had to go to work, so i saved in the crypt. Later, I try to boot up the save and i got an infinite loading screen. I tried to remove mods in bulk to try and figure out which is the problem for 3 hours without luck. I'm worried ill corrupt the save so I stopped. I tried to load up the old save I had at dawnguard and it also has an infinite loading screen. I have a ton of mods but I'm sure its one of the bigger ones like texture overhaul or something. Anyone have any idea on what it likely is?
  19. When my save file gets to about 55 - 60 Mb large (uncompressed, ReSaver) the save becomes unusable/corrupted, might have to wait until someone comes up with a unlimited save file size mod lol. Game corrupts my save every time a character does a few dozen quests and reaches something like level 20, even with this (wonderful) mod and specific instructions followed. Tried every fix known to man (SSE Engine Fixes + MaxStdio = 8192, Fresh Skyrim Install, ReSaver etc.) and nothing seems to work, is there a fix for this yet or not? Unfixable engine limitation?

  21. Opened nexus mod manager to check on the download status of a mod for BG3, it froze, then when I looked I was logged out, all my mods had been deleted, and none of my save files were there any longer. Does anyone have any idea what in the world happened? its 150+ hours thats just gone.
  22. I finished my first bg3 game two days ago and had no issues (only in the final stage of the game, I noticed several graphical glitches, but from what I saw, this is a problem with patch 5). However, I didn't get the Withers' party epilogue scene, only him talking to the mural of the three dead gods. I researched a bit about it, and from what I saw, using mods prevents the epilogue from happening. So, I disabled the mods (I only use the "Mod Fixer," "LSLib/Divine Tool," and "Unvisual Half-Illithid"), but when loading the save, there's a message saying "Following Mods were enabled on Save" mentioning "Unvisual Half-Illithid," and the game doesn't load the save. When I re-enable the mods, the save loads normally. How can I solve this issue? I saw some people on Reddit fixing this with the BG3 Mod Manager, but I haven't found anything about it for those using Vortex.

I don't even know if that's a ban or for how long I have been banned or whats going on at this point. No warning no nothing. Does anyone has any tips on how to proceed here? Would be reeeeally greatfull!
  25. hey guys don't mind me, just curious... is there any mod out there where i can play with different characters builds i did but in the same save world? like different shouts, perks, inventory, magic spells, but the same quests completed and to do for example i already did all the boring missions with an archer sneak wood elf, now i want to do this specific mission as an vampire mage nord, but without starting all over again. ik different saves is a thing but sometimes i feel like just wanna be another dragonborn in the same world first time here, sorry for bad english as i am brazillian :pirate:
