  1. Any unbroken full length mirror you can put on a wall in any mods? I think there's a free standing one with the Neon Flats and Kuro Kit has several large framed wall decorations which don't really seem to fit, or look like mirrors. I think CVC has several cracked and broken ones that are the right size but are in pieces.
  2. Does anyone know of mods with things you can hang on the wall that are more like rugs or tapestries? Even tarps maybe? Those shacks sure do look drafty and the Winter must be especially bad! I guess I can try to rotate rugs but that's a pain. Thanks!
  3. As the title suggests, I'm having an issue with walls, ceilings, floors, etc, being invisible inside interiors. AFAIK, the only mods I have that I know edit interior cells are Enhanced Flickering Firelight, Fr4nsson's Light Tweaks, Ultra Interior Lighting, Dynamic Interior Fog Removal, and Interiors Enhanced.   4. This is not so much a mod request as a concept for one. It would overhaul the cities to be more immersive. As stated before I am not a programmer but want to share my ideas. If you think it is a good idea, give me a thumbs up, share, comment, etc. If you visit any city in real life you will see that most are not perfectly flat. There are hills, tall and short buildings, bad and good parts of town, etc. For small villages and towns the flat layout works but when you get to big cities this frying plan flat element is extremely obvious. So here are a few mods that when added together overhaul the cities. 1. Unlevel ground: The in game feature that levels the ground for cities still works but does not reduce everything perfectly flat. Instead you have slopes, hills, but no cliffs. This means two additional mods are required for walls and buildings. 2. Sectional walls: To work with unlevel grounds city walls are now sectional with divisions being at the towers. The height of the wall snaps up or down per level within the tower. The wall sections are always one level above the ground based on the highest point of the slope it spans that is if wall tops are always flat, or have new models with slopes. The towers are accessible without keys. But lower level doors may be locked. 3. Accessible buildings. If you have a building on a hill the door can be above you with the default model. This mod requires buildings to have a deeper base with a wrap around staircase. The buildings would be sunk into the ground so the side on the higher end of the hill is ground level but the front is now above the ground. Thus the stairs. 4. City layout roads: This is a rework of how roads are made in cities. They are created first then the buildings around them. Giving the roads a reason instead of randomly placed between buildings. Rules such as "all roads lead from the city gates to the center of the city" would come first, then branch out. Roads could now have randomly generated street names. 5. Economic Districts: Creates sections of towns that are visibly wealthier or poor. A signifier of crime and the lack of guard response time. Possibly wider roads, more trees for wealth and tight roads with no greenery for poor. 6. City Overgrowth: Buildings can now be outside the city walls. This creates a small walled city, then an expansive wall-less city surrounding the outside it. New buildings could be available such as Stables for your horses! 7. City Farms: If there is a walled city, there has to be farms to support it. Gives every city or town a need for a food source. Miles and miles of FARMS! Possible new farm models that ignore the "flaten ground" command for their placement. Applies a farm field texture to the ground with farm buildings in the center. Create new farm types. Livestock farms were the fields are not planted and fenced in. Orchards with rows of trees. Farming fields where a planted field texture is applied to the grounds. 8. City sewers: Gives each walled city a sprawling single depth dungeon with associated monsters. Rats, crocodiles, thieves, etc. Also a "sewer entrance" of course. These are some ideas. I believe that 4,5 & 6 would be the most effective at overhauling the cities. Alas they are only ideas as I am no programmer. If you like the concept, give me a thumbs up, or suggest something better! I always love to hear what folks are working on.
  5. So, for the quest Painting the Town, you can actually choose NOT to use green paint, and instead paint the wall Yellow or Blue. But even though Cans of Blood are a thing, as are Red ones (thanks to Far Harbour I believe), you cannot use them. So I was wondering if it would be possible for a mod to allow the use of those cans, and paint the wall Red, or if you are an edgy raider, Blood.

  7. Hello! I'm building at Red rocket and noticed that the diner walls works perfectly (added by mod ofc). All of them have windows or bordered up windows though, which makes it hard if you want to decorate. Is there anyone that has made a custom diner-styled wall without a window that could work? Been looking through the mods adding walls but found none. Since it doesn't seem to exist in game i assume it has to be made by hand. I'd get into making one myself but thought, hey, I've never done this before, maybe there's somebody that knows their stuff or that it already exists. If there isn't one, anyone here that can make one? You'd get my eternal love and sparkly endorsements!

  9. What I am looking for is a wall gap filler/spacer/trim that snaps between the first and second story walls. IE: I am building a loft style house and much of the upper floor has no floor. So I don't want to use the second story floor. There is an example included below. I would make it myself, but i wouldn't even know where to begin.
  10. It can be tiresome to equip settlers with armor, weapons and ammo individually. Therefore, I was thinking whether someone would be able to create a special "container" where you can put the items you wish for your settlers to equip themselves with and they will automatically come and equip themselves with the items placed on the container. Guards will have higher priority to equip the better quality weapons.

  12. I've done some searching and couldn't find anything to match my criteria. What I'm looking for is snapping interrior walls. The standard walls won't snap into place if theres anything else on that face like a floor or another building segment. I wanna be able to section off pieces of my building into descreet rooms with a view without compromising on my balcony choices :smile: Most walls can be taken care of by creatively using the prefab parts, but theres usually 1 wall or a balcony end that needs to be covered to make it seamless, an interior wall with a door would be fabulous ! I am aware of a mod called 'place in red' but its not actually a mod, its a script for cheat engine and I don't want to go that route. To give an idea of what I'm after. This balcony end. This balcony end as well And this wall would be splendid with a door.

  14. Any chance someone has, or is willing to, give access to crafting bubble turrets through a mod? I found one mod that does, but console commands are required to turn them to ceiling mount and there's no wall options. I'd like to be able to mount turrets to walls and ceilings, whether with a power cable or adding a couple fusion cores into the crafting materials, or both. The former would allow the addition of a console to control their functions. In addition, wall and ceiling mounted spotlights would be neat. Thanks for looking. Tyler
  15. I got Hearthfire last Sunday, and I had no problems. But recently I've had a... bug? Where when I go to open the doors into the manor, bedrooms, kitchen or trophy room I meet a wall. Every door in (and out of the house) has a wall intercepting it. I can get in and out the house fine, but I can't go into the extra rooms, neither can anyone in the house (Adopted children, husband, bard, steward ect.) I do have mods, but nothing to do with Lakeview. And I can't go back to a save where this wasn't a problem because that would mean going down about 10 levels, and when I've tried the problems just saved there, and if I go back it keeps transferring to that save. Is there anyway I can fix this?

  17. Hi there! Wanted to just say, it'd be really cool if someone could make an Embrasured wall. Basically imagine half a wall, then a narrow gap where a turret could shoot through, then the rest of the wall. Think about the possibilities for base defence. Maybe have one wall have the gap at normal standing height, then another at turret height. Just a little settlement suggestion.
  18. Soooo... I started to mod my Skyrim again and began with my texture mods (Skyrim HD 2K). I don't remember having this weird texture in my old game. Is that normal for Skyrim HD 2K and one of my other mods will overwrite it or did I something wrong? (The picture is not from my game but the texture looks the same)

When I tried to get the Raven Rock Mine word wall, I hear sizzling and music, but instead of just one of the words being blue and coming off of the wall, all of the words are red and won't come off the wall. Oh, here is my Load Order: Typically, the first solution for any glitch is to reload a save from before you entered the cell. However, because the entirety of Raven Rock Mine is actually just 1 cell, to do so is basically to do the quest all over again.   20. Hello there, I'm new to modding. I only made followers or npc's for personal use, now I decided I want to make dungeons and guildquarters, again for personal use. But what I had most trouble with, were making floors and especially walls fit eachother. When I want to make a wall, I try to make them fit eachother. I make the use of "f" and rotation. Eventually, I still notice there are little gaps somehow. So is there a way to make several walls fit eachother perfectly instead of doing it manually? Also, I rotate my walls with the right mouse button and with the "w' command. When I make walls and I'm satisfied, I copy paste them so I can make them parallel with eachother, to make a long hallway. I failed since they never go parallel. Even when rotating or using "w" command, I can't make them parallel with eachother. Is there any way how to fix this? Thank you in advance, feel free to point out grammar mistakes, I have much to learn. I work with creationkit
  21. Hey there, We all want a destructible enviroment for Skyrim or The Elder Scrolls in general. Well since theres no mod or add on for this I figured I could create a room with some of the destructible walls that are already in the game. I was thinking about the wall that you can break during your first mission at the winterhold academy. The one where you have to use a spell.   22. There are a few texture-related oddities and eyesores throughout Dark Souls 2 that I'd like to request to have fixed. 1. The excessively-repeating white brick texture in Drangleic Castle apparent on the walls and ceiling. 2. The skybox texture in The Lost Bastille AND Drangleic Castle has been missing ever since the calibration that added the Majula Mansion chest event. In Lost Bastille the sky appears pure purple, and in Drangleic Castle the sky in an abyss-style pure black. This is the most major problem of all, but I'm not sure if a skybox replacer (or just the dumped original texture put into the override folder) would fix it, but I've yet to try. 3. Some ugly beige hills in the distance in Shaded Woods and Forest of Fallen Giants to a lesser extent (minor). 4. The obviously-repeating texture on the Dragon Shrine, especially around the Ancient Dragon's boss room. 5. The obviously-repeating texture on the bridge structure in Shaded Woods, mostly noticeable on the path leading towards Drangleic Castle. 6. The repeating texture on the bridge blocked by rubble in the Forest of Fallen Giants outside the Cardinal Tower to the left upon leaving the doors (also minor). I'd honestly really appreciate anyone trying to fix this stuff, as it's something everyone could utilize to give their game that little extra bit of polish and are little things that have bugged me ever since the texture problems/laziness in the game were evident in the early trailers. My plan is to create a room full of the saarthal doors (the one from the winterhold academy quest) that you can destroy without the need to wear the amulet and withouth it need to be a spell. So I found the script and it reads as followed: Again, the goal is to rewrite it so that you don't need the quest, the amulett or a spell. Can someone help me with that? Thanks

  25. I didn't know how else to call it, but I got curious as I may need work for this in the future. But how can I take the camera visual of first person and slab it onto say a static object? As reference I'm talking about when the player is forced into a tight squeeze where the camera cannot fit without glitching (or your body is too big.) Like in the dark brotherhood when you hide inside the coffin and see the Night mothers face up really close. I believe the camera was switched for that, as I cannot fit my player into the coffin otherwise. So the main question is this, how can I change what the game is focusing on? instead of the player, how would I get it to focus on the inside of a draugr coffin, like you were hiding inside it.
