After and a half I'm able to play Mass Effect and Mass Effect2 again. I'm looking for working files to edit the Coalesced.ini file and to render the Tilde Key active for putting in cheat codes. Among existing sites I've found either links were no longer active or the files uploaded to edit the Coalesced file don't actually work when used as instructed. I went through the Coalesced file with Notepad++, but I cannot find the line where I can activated the Tilde Key. Other sites suggested looking for the line E21730, but no such line naming exists in the Coalesced file when read by Notepad++.

Hi. I am looking for mod which make bigger font in dialogues and cinematics. I need it for me1,2&3. Is there any? If not, is it possible for someone inexperienced to make such mods? How complicated is to create font mod? Thx.

I've been able to get the brown Alliance beret via coalesced editing, but I'd really love an Alliance blue one like the one Jenkins wears in ME1; If it isn't too much trouble for someone with texture modding experience to have a stab at? -
I'd rather Tali didn't have this black and yellow Cerberus inspired outfit that doesn't look like any other quarians' outfit in the beginning of the game. I would think there would be a way to replace her normal textures with the altnerate appearance outfit but I don't know enough about texture modding to figure it out. Any help would be appreciated.

If you're familiar with Dragon Age: Origins, you may know of the polyamory/polygamey mods. If not, they are essentially mods that enable multiple romances. The polyamory mod is more complex as it edits certain lines of dialogue in a given conversation, replacing the not-so-happy lines with something perhaps a bit more modest, and it does so using the characters' original dialogue from elsewhere in the game in order to provide a more immersive experience, among other things. Polygamey is much simpler, I believe it just removes jealousy triggers and enables the multiple romances but I don't know exactly how these mods work as I am no modder. Anyways, I'm wondering if there are any mods like that for the mass effect series, and assuming not, if anyone is willing to perhaps make them? I would really like to explore most of the romances without having to spend hundreds of hours replaying all three games a dozen times, and I believe this feeling is shared by many others as well. Were I to have the knowledge, I'd make the mod myself, unfortunately I do not :/.

I liked the mods that improoved textures in the first Mass Effect, but that's only because the first Mass Effect was kinda crappy-looking by modern standards. The textures mods for Mass Effect do make a few things look better, but I think I might have either installed them wrong, or just simply my computer can't handle it, because; - The whole game became literally darker, and no even the traditional fix to that didn't help, I had to increase overall brightness of the game higher just so that it wouldn't look like I'm playing in a basement. - The dialogue is terribly delayed in cutscenes every time I pick a dialogue option. - Shadows are pixelated and just generally look worse. I decided I was better off with vanilla. So, before I risk making it worse, is there anything I should know, or any advice anyone who'v actually done this themselves can give?

Yeah these ads and other announcements (plus the uninitiated conversations) on hub worlds get old after half dozen playthroughs or so. I don't need to hear Krogan on Tuchanka for the hundredth time speculating about how Turians look w/o their armour. Nor do i need to hear the announcement about the plague being eradicated multiple times per playthrough on Omega. It would be awesome if someone could create a mod that either removes these convos and ads altogether, or at least makes them initialize on user input. Thanks.

Hi! So I am looking to mod mass effect 1-3. I am not playing the Legendary Edition. Im playing the regular games. Long story short there used to be a very in depth mod guide for all 3 games, that was updated regularly and I cant find it. The only mod guides I have found are for LE. Does anyone on here know which guides I am talking about or where I can find it? Thanks!

I had an idea for a mod for Mass Effect Legendary edition. I call it Realistic difficulty mod: Shepard takes damage like it's the hardest difficulty setting but deals out damage like it's the easiest. Let me know if anyone can help thank you

I had a thought. What if you removed all early talk of the Reaper IFF until after it's acquired? The prompt to visit the dead reaper could come from the email terminal. You still find the IFF there. But nobody talks about it until you pick it up. There's already a mod that adds a button to start the Collector abduction mission. But this mod could add a similar button to manually install that IFF.

When I used a modified save game for a new game plus, the screen turned black the moment gameplay begins in the prologue. When I tried a normal new game to see if it was a problem with the savefile and the same happened at the same moment so I don't know if loading the modified savegame corrupted some files because I loaded a mid-game savefile and it worked fine but everytime I start a new game or new game+ the screen will turn black when gameplay starts.

I really like the changes added by the tweaked Coalesced in VaST But I don't like not having heavy weapons, or the fact that all the headwear sounds like you are in a full helmet. Is there any way to remove those two changes but keep the rest? I've taken a look at the Coalesced changes, but can't see what I would need to change. Would post this on the mod page, but it has no comments section. Edit: Have figured out how to get Heavy Weapons back. Any idea how to disable all headwear behaving like atmospheric headwear?

Hi, I am a new member here, Is there anyone can make for me a golden outfit for kasumi? just remove the red color and put golden color don't edit anything else in kasumi. And can you make another outfit remove the red color and put brown color. I am talking about kasumi loyalty outfit. outfit with golden color instead of red. and another outfit with brown color instead of red. That will be appreciated a lot. Nothing else I want. By the way my favorite colors are golden and brown. Thank you. -
What is the right order of mods installation for: - No minigames. - Shorter loading time. - ME2 controller. - Cheat console (for lazy days.) - ALOT. I am pretty sure ALOT has to be last, but what is your advice? My grasp of modding is pretty shaky I'd hate to screw up. Many thanks.

Does anyone get fed up by the fact that in Zaeed's mission you either have to choose to let the workers in the facility die in order to kill Vido and earn Zaeed's loyalty, and if you choose to save the workers, then no matter how quick you are, Vido gets away and you have to have enough paragon points in order to get Zaeed's loyalty leaving him dissatisfied on getting his revenge. I don't know about you, but this honestly makes me feel as though the game isn't immersive enough, because from the in game dialogue, it makes it sound like that killing Vido is a matter of being quick rather than just taking the time to save some people or abandoning them. So what I propose is that someone with modding experience to change Zaeed's loyalty to having a timer, where if you get to Vido before the timer runs out, then the cutscene where Zaeed kills him triggers and you earn his loyalty, but if you get to Vido after the timer runs out, it'll trigger the cutscene where Vido gets away and you have to use a paragon check in order to get his loyalty, that way it'll not only make the game more immersive, but it will make it actually look as though your decision really does matter, that way you can choose to kill Vido, giving Zaeed the satisfaction he has been looking forward to for years, and can also save the innocent workers in the process. If anyone can do this or know if it is possible at all, then please let me know what you think.

I've been asking around and getting no clear answer. I'm trying to import my save game (I'm on PC) but at the start of Me2 Liara is showing up on the Normandy, and not Ashley (ME1 romance). I know this was normal on PS3, but I'm almost positive Ashley showed up on PC and Xbox. Is there any way that I can check the romance flag?

Incisor Sniper Rifle glitch report So playing with the Incisor Sniper Rifle, seems if the ammo used per shot and burst are the same or if burst is higher/lower it leads to an endless firing glitch, tried a bunch of combinations(started at 4AM now its 6.50AM) of refire, ammo per, mag size,ect seems burst and ammo per, also noted reload locked up. Is the burst fire system that broken? I know it forgets the burst mode and goes full auto after the first shot and all… or is there something in the incisor code set that’s screwing up? I had ammo per set to 3, burst set to 3 and mag to 30 and got the inf firing glitch. Anyway any of this well documented? Also anyone know why there’s 2 of them? Pre dlc and another ce2 from agieus pack?
