We are trying to create a new ' for rent ' mod! Right now my friend has figured out using the apartment code, so when that area is rented it grays out so you cannot see inside. We need to figure out how to set a rent for lot and make money go to sim family and not to non existent land lord. So far in testing my friend can make a whole lot rentable but you are the one renting it. We can't figure out how to do it on a lot that's not an apartment. Like what we want is for a person to build a house. Select a room and be able to toggle that room between usable and apartment. Any Ideas how we can figure it out or is it impossible? Greetings!

I'm requesting a custom pronouns mod, like it works in english 'cause i really want to use my pronouns in game ('elu/delu'), Actually i dont play in english 'cause i dont speak english (i'm using translator right now). Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease, help me? I can help you to translate the game if necessary. I can pay 10$ (sorry, i know isn't much, but you see, i'm brazilian. 50R$ / 10$ is a lot of money for us.)

Hi please help I keep getting this pop up and none of the mods are showing up anymore ive tried deleting game versions and uninstalling and reinstalling and tried deleting the files that keep popping up and deleting the local thumb cache but nothing is working?

Hello, I have had a question or an idea about a possible emotions mod, I would like to know if there is a mod that allows you to see the emotions of the NPC Sims as well as the emotions of the playable sims that we can see the small boxes where all the emotions that you have at that moment, because the only way to see them is by adding the sims to the domestic unit and change from sim to sim to be able to see those emotions. And in the same way that it functions in certain interactions such as those of wickedwhims, I don't know if there is a mod like this, but if it doesn't, it remains as a follow-up for someonewho knows how to create mods

I like more than a few of the premade Sims, but I can only use one at a time in my game. They are made by different ppl, but for sum reason it always says there is a conflict. Does anyone know if there is a fix for this?

I am kind of new to this game, but there's something I have a hard time understanding the sens of: careers. In the mod section there are different career paths, some interesting, some weird, some for adults. Now, if those were jobs, in which case I could follow my sim to work and anjoy the experience I would understand. But it seems to me I cannot do that. The only jobs seem to be Detective, Scientist and a third one which I don't remember now. All the rest are kind of closed to me when the sim goes to work. Am I missing something? Can I get some explanation on aspects that I am somehow missing?

hi guys, i just thought since none of the townie mods that stop the generation of rando multicoloured potatos actually work anymore with the zeros no random mod having issues with the roles file that ruins your sims social lives, the npcc being severely outdated and the mccc being completely user unfriendly and confusing with the added acception of, it doesnt stop townie generation, im curious as to why nobodies thought to make another mod like it, i would do if i knew what i was doing but i dont have the foggiest as to where to actually start, animations ive got a good idea but when it comes to coding like that, not a clue this problem has been all over the place for years and still theres a problem with it so, my question is: why has nobody else thought of making a new townie mod that stops generation? surely theres someone out there that knows what thier doing and hates the fact that theres pink versions of the hulk looking like hes been on hiatus binge eating and contemplating life spawning in the latest designer bin bags i know im not the only person who has issues with rando generation and this game severely needs a townie mod thats kept up to date, because lets face it, EA arent gunna add a button feature for example to turn generation on and off EDIT: well it doesnt look like zeros even paying attention to his patreon page anymore, so i doubt were gunna see an update past the 2022 update that didnt do anything

It took me a lot of time to install them. Do I have to re install them and never use Vortex to mod The Sims 4?

Hi I tried a lot and also searched around, but could not really find a clear answer. Everytime I start Sims 4 after an update I get a generic unable to start due to possible mods error. I have deleted mydocuments/electronicarts/sims 4 folder multiple times, and tried to re-add mods manually via Vortex, but I notice that even if I enable mods that worked before the same notification will just re-pop-up. I am a bit confused by this because even if I only activate 1 mod that I know works it will get the error. Disabling the mod or extracting mods manually into the mod folder will cause the game to work again (I just havent done this for all mods yet because I dont really know where all the different files go yet, and its a lot of work). I would really like to keep using Vortex, but I am not sure what is causing it. It does not seem to be a single mod. My saves also work fine aside from the mods. Might be good to add that: If I start all over it sometimes works up untill certain mods, but once it broken I cant repair it by disabling mods I dont mind troubleshooting if there is a good method. Thanks in advance for sharing any experiences regarding this and may it help people in the future

hi people, this might seem like a stupid question but ive never been able to fully understand how to use presets, is there a way to possibly change the body slides of every sim of a specific gender and age group to have the same body that can be done when starting up a new game? ive been trying to find a way that quickly changes the body slides of all the women in the 'young adult' and adult' age groups instead of my usual 'go into the nieghbourhood view and change every sim one by one to look the way i liked' my method takes way too long

Has anyone here ever tried building a sunken fireplace/pit in their sims 4 living room? Pretty sure I could do it by raising one up thru a basement, but would rather not have to do it that way. I'd like to build a conversation pit with a toasty fire in the middle.

Hi, My Sims keep disappearing from the map every game and i cant reset them using the cheat code as it only say "sim not found". The sims are at home but are grayed out. Any solution to this problem?

I like the mods how they look and interact, especially when developers try to make it work. But most of the time there is almost no progress or loss of income. So now my base I have all these posters that I required way too easy and it feels it has no purpose. Because its a shop item or crafting the resources should be the same as relics items or late end objects. This is for me a quick fix to the posters and paintings making actually sense. For example: We take sims 4 and u download a mod that contains 30 posters. And divide in three groups. the first 10 cost $500 the second 10 cost $2500 the third 10 cost $5000. At beginning of a new game 10 posters for $500 is alot of investment to get them all totalling 5000. Thats 1/4 of your starter cash in sims 4. But u could buy 1 to start with and enjoy the mod progressing natural because in sims 4 after couple weeks u could have enough to buy every one of them. But u still have difficulty with buying the second 10 tier. I am a old school gamer that loved first red alert and completing each mission I did it for the boobs. To see the cinematics with the hot assistant general. Because the natural gameplay and story progression I enjoyed each one of those video's. Made me fight harder and even try to complete on hardest dificulty to see if I could get more boobs. Sims 4 is a example but in fallout 4 instead money it could be resources. Most people will ask but do u like to struggle? Nope, but I like the achievment. So my request is to make or modify posters and paintings just there resources so it would make sense in unlocking them with resources or money u earn. I tried to hang them all up but felt empty while they could mean more. I could drop more examples like fallout 4 u unlock poster 19 after killing a mirelurk etc. But its too much programming and who would want that? FYI In fallout 4 adult comics collecting is fun.

Would it be possible to make a rocket that looks like the Rocinante from The Expanse. The ship is vertically aligned like the other rockets. So it should fit just fine. The paint job changes a lot in the show, so it would make sense for it to have different appearances.

So I have little experience modding up to date games and I want to get into it so bad. My favorite game right now is Days gone and I want to make so many different character skins and weapon skins for it. I'm currently on PS4 but want to buy a PC in the next few months. ( My New years resolution lol) can anyone give me any kinds of tips? Like what PC should I get or how hard it is to mod stuff?
