Skyrim has been running smoothly for the most part since I picked it back up a couple weeks ago. I've added a few mods since then and had a lot of mods already installed. Everything was still pretty good. Today I decided to use TES5Edit to clean up dirty edits crashing my game. I did this because I was experiencing a crash multiple times around Morthal. After I cleaned it up, I decided to go ahead and update Expanded Towns and Cites and then the RS Children Overhaul becasue ETaC has a patch for it so I figured I may need to update. So, now when I start the game up I am presented with the Skyrim logo but no smoke and no options. The RSChildren patch is downloaded but I'm not even sure what that's doing. I've uninstalled and reinstalled with no luck. Actually, when I uninstalled RSChildren(and patch), the game crashes upon main menu. I've looked through the forums and other places already but none of these solutions have helped. They were often caused by a mod that I don't even have. Any Ideas?

I'm considering jumping back down the rabbit hole of ES modding. I found that Oblivion was marginally easier to mod than Skyrim. Obviously, I will first be installing all necessary unofficial patches. Afterwards... Yes, I will be "reclaim the territory" that was lost from Daggerfall. In other words, characters should be all nude if you strip them. Initially, I thought that this would be easy. Choose a nude mod for females (HGEC), and choose a nude mod for males (probably Robert's newest version, which I believe is 5, unless someone says otherwise). Obviously, this is not covered in the unofficial patch as it is a fix for a mod. Hopefully, this fixes that, but are there any other glitches that I should be aware of that are not covered by the unofficial patch? So, during my latest playthrough I decided to go full on Children of Atom, inspired by the CoA Overhaul. And in order to do so I created a certain look for my character. That said what I wanted to do is make a full rad build, without lose my aesthetics. Atom's Bulwark was easy because there is an OMOD that holds the enchantment. However, being unique items both the Robes of Atom's Devoted and the Inquisitor's Cowl lack an OMOD that holds their enchantment, so I cannot apply it to the clothing I'm currently wearing. So...can anyone point to me how i would go about creating an OMOD for the enchantment, so i can apply it to other clothing/armour?

Will the upcoming DLC/Addon break a mooded game? I know there will be patches and stuff and I want to know if the new patches and the addon will corrupt saves and break the game or if the mods previously installed simply stop functioning. would be cool if someone could clear this up.

All my BOS folks are in their good old space ranger outfits. Problem is, their bland vertibirds don't really match. Can someone fix this?

Hello, I need help with Dual Sheath Redux because one annoying problem is occurring for me when using it. So basically when I install it using NMM and do everything like I was suppose to do what happens in game is the weapon I'm duel wielding is on the ground between my feet and following me wherever I go and it's very distractive and HIGHLY annoying. I have re-installed Duel Sheath Redux twice now and still the same problem. At the end of the latest re-install I did when I thought I figured it out I changed 1 option. And that was the option which asked if I wield weapons from my back which my character did. So I ticked that box however still same thing. This is what I do when I install 1. Download through NMM 2. Active it 3. Do all the options. 4. Go into SkyProc patcher and run the .exe and patch Dual Sheath Redux like It's suppose to. 5. And to be sure I use LOOT 6. Open the game and done. However I have my weapon bugging me between my feet. I have all the required things to run this mod so I'm confused and annoyed. This is being modded on Skyrim Legendary Edition Your help would be highly appreciated :D If you need any required information to know about my issue please ask and I will attempt to reply as fast as possible.

I remember those good old times in fallout 3 where there was a mod called Sharing and Caring and a mod T.R.A.S.C.H If someone can make these again, it would make fallout 4 so much more greater with a freedom like this. Where you can give your settlers names, let them follow you, make them stronger/upgrade them or level them up. See their stats. That's the kinds s#*! I wanna see.

I don't know if it is possible but to make a mod so you can switch between the husband and wife. I find it a waste that I customized both characters but cannot see or play as both; almost like in Assassin's Creed Syndicate switching between the brother & sister whenever you wanted to. I tried the "sexchange" console command but it just made my male a female but not the wife character that I had customized in the beginning. Also, when switching back to your male character with the husband got rid of some features on my character like the beared he had.

I know that even if you have a heavy shield equipped, it will not negate light armor's custom fit, but what about mage armor? If you ask an armor spell and then equip a shield, will the shield's armor rating negate the effects of mage armor, or do shields not count as armor for this purpose?

okay i have a very wierd bug in which when i kill the first dragon in the quest dragon rising i get 2 unrelenting force shouts one is the normal ver and the other is the dragon ver can anyone me solve this wierd bug thank. my load order just in case

I'm guess that these texture issues arise because, even though I am using UNP, the meshes for the shoes are still for vanilla feet. Is there a mod that makes Shrouded, Mythic, and perhaps some other Shoes compatible for UNP? I know that FFR adds compatible shoes, but that mod also changes the feet, and I prefer standard UNP feet, but with compatible shoes. Of course, if that is not the reason for this glitch, please tell me what it is and how to fix it. Thank you.

NEED MANY VOICE ACTORS I don't have all the lines ready yet, but me and my writer are working on it. Here's what I need: An older nord lady, prob sounds 70-80 years old. A vampire imperial, could sound like main vamp in dawnguard Two male nord voices, one sounds about 18-25, other sounds about 30-40 and smart sounding. A cheerful voiced female nord (bard) in her 20s, decently high pitched would probably be best. Another female white girl voice in her 20s, sounds kinda b*tchy A deep voiced redguard/African American, probably in 30s. A kinda deep redguard voice, maybe jayz voice or something. 20s, 30s. A jerky sounding nord voice in his early 20s. A sexy nord girl voice, somewhere between 18-25. A older dark elf voice, very smart and nice sounding. If you could do any of the voices above decently, pm me. Actually, doesn't matter if you don't think you can do those, PM me, I'm sure we have a part for you. Also I'll give you quest details in PM.

First of all, I know that the software that I need in order to do this is Nifskope, but I don't know how to work it. Let's say that I got a new mesh for necromancer robes to make it more revealing, specifically by shortening the sleeves and skirt. However, originally, the necromancer robes covered by the top portions about gauntlets and boots in order to prevent clipping. Because now the sleeves and skirt have been shortened, but the game is still "covering" gauntlets and boots, the end result is that there are gaps on the wrists and shins when wearing certain gauntlets and boots. The way to fix this is to make the necromancer robe mesh no longer take up those slots. However, I have no idea how to do that. Could someone please walk me through it?

I noticed that necklaces do not show up on Falmer armor. Is this normal? Unlike other heavy armors, Falmer armor actually shows the neck, but then again, it is heavy armor, so I'm not sure.

Could someone please make wrist and ankle irons (light armor, forged with 2 iron ingots each, improved with 1 iron ingot each, strong as leather, but as light as hide) for UNP? I specify UNP as not to have them made for vanilla feet. I personally use UNP Skinny, but given that this is just for hands and feet, there would be no difference between making it for UNP or UNP Skinny. I remember back in Oblivion where half the work was already done, given that there were wrist irons in the vanilla game. However, Skyrim has neither. I am trying to disable borders and I look through the INI file and when i look for the camand bBorderRegionsEnabled=1 I cannot find it and I even downloaded a default version of it to make sure mine isn't screwed up and I can't find on there either. I can find the command bEnableBorderRegion=1 and I sat that to "0) but the borders are still there PLEASE HELP!!!

I would like a mod that makes a slot for armor, that doesent give you any Defence when equipped into. But your Character looks like it's wearing the armor in that slot instead of his actual armor. Say I wanted to roleplay as a Bandit, I would wear the Hide Armor to look the part, but I should wear the Daedric Armor instead for obvious reasons. This bugs me. I don't want to change the Daedric Armor to look like the Hide Armor because everything that wears Daedric Armor will look like they're wearing Hide Armor. I hope you understand what I'm getting at. This is the thing that bugs me the most about Skyrim.

Hi, I am wondering what the difference between the AND and OR tags for conditions. Neither one seemed to make a difference for me. For example, I have a dialogue topic that only shows up when the stage of a quest is less than 25, but I also want to add a condition to make it not show up when the stage is 30. I added the condition, Getstage Quest != 30, but nothing happened. I tried the condition set to both AND and OR but that didn't seem to make a difference either. Any answers will be appreciated.

Hi people of the Nexus realm, I'm moving to the UK in a few months and I need a laptop before a do. It'll need to hold for at least 5 years, and it'll have to run newer games fine. Not uber epic with Super Sampling and 8 samples of AA and Tesselation, just fine with nice high-ish settings. Also in-gameFPS wise, I'd prefer something closer to 60 obviously, but I am totally fine with 30 and I'd gladly lower some settings to get more fps. So I've mostly been looking at Asus because they have a nice gaming series of laptops, I'll be getting them in Bulgaria so that's why the websites are in cyrillic. The most expensive one I've been eyeing is the G750JS http://www.pcstore.bg/bg/laptop-ultrabook/laptopi/laptop-asus-g750js-t4046d.html 1322€, that's probably the maximum that I could even go, I'm not sure if my budget will allow that much. The middle baby and my favorite is the G550JK http://www.pcstore.bg/bg/laptop-ultrabook/laptopi/laptop-asus-g550jk-cn268d.html It's about 1000€ so a lot less than the one above, still has great specs, a 4Gb GTX 850M, 12Gb of RAM instead of the 750's 8Gb and it's a bit more compact, not that that's a big factor but since I'll carry it to lectures it may be better than the 17 incher. I'm kinda thinking of going for this. And lastly the G56JR http://www.technomarket.bg/products/09136591/asus-g56jr-cn142d 971€ But I think that it's also quite a bit weaker. Edit: There's also the Lenovo Y510P which has SLI GTX755M's but I'm not sure. The SLI is putting me off, I'm scared that most games wont like the SLI. So yeah my budget would be about between the G550JK and maximum the G750JS. Can you guys give some recommendations, maybe even other models or other manufacturers? I'd appreciate it a ton if someone would reply to this since this is big money I'm talking about, and the lappy needs to hold for a few years. (Also note I have 0 experience with laptop hardware so feel free to correct me or something. I only ever built desktop PC's and I only know desktop hardware, I'm mostly speaking about the GPU here. )

I'm getting a sense of deja vu because I requested this several years ago for Oblivion but was told that the mod already exists, so if it does, please tell me where. Otherwise, I would like to request a bondage pose mod that includes crucifixion and nyotaimori (body dinner table). Again, the crucifixion pose is not meant to be sacrilegious, so no lectures about Jesus's suffering. Just a fairly common bondage pose, not even NSFW unless you have the body mod for it.

Basically, look at my attached screenshot to see the glitch. There is a gap between the robes and shoes. I have the unofficial patch, and I thought that it fixed this issue. Is there another fix patch that I should download, or is there something that I can do manually?

--SPOILER ALERT-- Just in case below well state my issue linked to the main story-line of the dragonborn dlc. Hi, I'm having a problem that is stopping me from continuing the main story-line of the Dragonborn DLC. I recently got the DLC on my computer (HAD it on Xbox360 but bought it again for computer) on the Xbox I had no problems with the DLC but on my computer WOAH! the problem I'm encountering. Miraak and ME cannot absorb dragon souls. Ever since getting the DLC I found I couldn't absorb dragons souls since it was turned on. At first, I figured this was just Miraak stopping me so I went for the main quest. but as I beat dragons in Solstien (or however its spelled) Miraak never appeared to take the soul away from me. The body just fell, nothing more. I figured- "ok...something isn't right here in the Xbox he appeared and stole the souls." I continue with the main story line and use my previously obtained souls to spend and learn the bend will shout. I go to the last scene of the battle with Miraak and am ready to take him out so I can absorb souls again. But when it comes to the part where he becomes ethreal he vanishes into a pool and appears in the center he then takes out Kruzikel the dragon with his shout- but again HE DOESN"T absorb the soul, thus he wont heal. I originally just posted this as a comment on this thread, but then I realized that this mod does not necessarily have to do with the Almalexia Regalia robes. Anyway, this is a request to create Almalexia's crown and mask from Morrowind, if you please. Obviously, making the rest of the armor is not necessary, given that it is already done. The crown should be a circlet, which is clothing, but the mask should be light armor (given that Dunmer favor light armor). I'll leave the stats and enchantments to you (just keep with the "theme" of the rest of the set), but as for location, make it smithable if you want, but I would prefer that it can also be found in the game world (obviously, tell me where). There are a lot of mod armors out there that are smith-only, but given that this armor is for mages, making it smith (a warrior skill) only is counter-intuitive. Thanks for the help.
