  1. Is anyone else experiencing problems with the mods mentioned in the title (Eli's Armor Compendium and Armorsmith Extended)? Yesterday I begun having a comparability problems with the two I've never experience before--namely that armor pieces suddenly don't stack with Eli's armors as they've done in the past. Instead they act as vanilla sets and de-quip the "one-piece" clothing or visa-verse. Armor Smith Extended still functions as expected with vanilla pieces and Eli's armors are still in game and wearable so they seem to be functioning individually just not together. Like I said this is rather sudden since the only change I've made is installing the latest Fallout 4 SE. I suppose that could be the problem, in which case I'll just waiting patiently for an update but I was wondering if anyone else was having a similar problem? Thanks!
  2. Greetings all, I've been tinkering around with some of my installed mods involving the minutemen wearing a specific uniform mod from another modding site, so far it's been going well. However i have run into a bit of a snag and in trying to figure out how to solve, and my modding experiance is limited so i feel like i am stumbling around in the dark a bit. While they are all wearing the uniforms i have chosen for them they were never intended to work with FO4 armor sets. Then i remembered the Therm optics combat armor set from armor smith extended. Which a many of us know is the combat armor set but is completely invisible and offers the same protection. This set works very well for outfits that would normally clip through the combat armor set or other armor sets and would be an excellent solution for the current issue i am facing. Would it be possible for someone better experienced at modding FO4 to make a mod where the minutemen faction exclusively wears armor smith extended's Therm optics combat armor?

And the problem is mods like Cbbe my body is Pink when i have armor on without armor Im a floating head Armorsmith extended workstation is not craftable and invicible and the rest i didnt test because many mods are using the station PLEASE HALP i thank everybody that helps i love fallout 4 so Please (sorry 4 Bad English im from switzerland) -Fobsi
  4. when I open the Armorsmith Extended v2.75 menu and stay on it for too long, the window fallout is in just goes black and closes, after that next to fallout in the steam library, it says bytes and syncing with a % next to it, after it finishes i can go back onto the game but it still have the same problem. if anyone could help me i would be grateful.
  5. I couldn't describe it very well in the title but basically is there a mod that allows you to wear something for looks and still have your armour on but not visible like in terraria. I know there is Armorsmith extended but is there 1 that allows you to have vanity and only vanity visible Thanks :)

Hi Guys, this is my first post in this forum, so i am really sorry if i did something wrong here.So, i wanted to play Fallout 4 again with mods ofc. i added all my fallout 4 inis and docs. than i thought i can use the new vortex tool because it looked very easy to use, and it was easy. (not my first time modding fallout 4=)). so i started with some nice texture mods to make my world look good and the enemys and animals inside. All worked fine! than i started to mod my charakter give him a nice hairstyle etc. with looksmenu Worked fine. I also change some clothe like the vault suit and raider suits. Than i wanted to add Wearable Backpacks and cross_instituteexpeditionarysuit. HERE starts the problem. I instilled them but they doesnt show up at all. Not in the chem station not when i try to find them via commands. Like they dont exist. i looked up where they are instilled and it looks all fine, they are listed in fallout 4 data meshes textures etc. how they should be so all fine, but they dont show up ingame. I am at the end! i tried everything for more than 4 hours ( about to throw the pc out of the window ) Fallout 4 is at the newest version F4SE is at the newest version Armorsmith Extended is at the newest version Inis [Archive] bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 sResourceDataDirsFinal= [Launcher] bEnableFileSelection=1 i did all!!!!!! i prey to god that someone can help me so i dont need to delete eveything and never touch fallout 4.   7. So, here's the problem. I actually were writing it on the Mod Site too, but simple nothing work and I waiting for some months for an result, cuz I kinda want to play Fallout4 again, without problems thats not working. I simple copy and paste my text from the mod page: ______________________________________________________________________________ 22 April 2020, 6:21PMI don't know why, but I feel really dumb here. Is there a reason why I cannot swap color any Clothes/Armor? I mostly want to color swap the "Green Dress" to "White Nurse Uniform". Those Option are even there. I even craft those requirement. But somehow, when I want to color swap those, it shows that I don't have those there (even when I craft tons of them). Those requirement color stuff that I need are IN my inventory (on Scrap list). But it don't show up on Color Swap Option on Armor Workbench. So, I decided to cheat it, to get the Nurse Outfit without doing it. And for some reason, its only green even when the name said "White Nurse Uniform". My question is now... do I need to install all the "color swap" Option from the original Modders or did I miss something? I clearly install everything right, checked even "how to install", also checked the compatible list. (if there was any what might frick it up) I have all patches mods what ArmorsmithExtended needed. Yes, I have also AWKCR. Also everything up to date (so it's all the new, fresh mods). I do have UCO installed, but even I disable it, nothing happens. Also I have all DLC, who doesn't?! And the Valdacil's Item Sorting. I couldn't find any result on google. It only bring me to UCO, but UCO don't have the "White Nurse Unitform" option for the dress. Please for some help, I clearly don't want to install a slutty nurse outfit for my family friendly settlement. :D Also I really love this mod here. ^^ PS: (The dress was an "examble", actually is for ALL clothes/armor that have the color swap option here)______________________________________________________________________________ Thats what I wrote, I hope you guys can understand it.I kinda done with searching for result and I am not sure if the reinstalling the game will help. When I take the hazmat suit off everything is fine.
  9. So this is my load order this moment. I used LOOT to get my order before copying it. I am able to play normally, if I don't have any of the SS (Sim Settlements + Addons) mods enabled. After going through the SS: Conquerors setup and ready to start, when it reaches about 12% of prebuilding the areas it would CTD. I don't have issues when I have any of the SS mods enabled, its only when I am waiting for the process to finish for the prebuilding areas and such. The things that I enabled in 'War' is to be occupied by settlers and setting them to Neutral. Honestly, not sure whats CTD, it could be because of Conqueror process of setting everything up. Can anyone give me feed on what I should do, I am going to be trying Loading SS mods first before anything else and let it run its process and hope it doesn't crash when setting up. I ran Wrye Bash, most are green and some are yellow and there is no red/orange.   10. I have been this iteration of Fallout 4 for about 90 hours, built a lot of settlements, with frequent crashes that I was able to play through. When I got into Central Boston the game kept crashing. No way I could get near the Library. Also, Preston has stopped giving me quests, and the first one from Scribe Hallen was Trinity Plaza, which I am sure will crash my game. I play Fallout 4 extensively last year with 90% of the same mods with no problem, but using Horizon 1.7.6. I wanted to try the new Horizon out, and love it, but the crashes have gotten to the point where I can't stand it. I was getting a lot of crashed with Diamond City Expansion, and Wry Bash informed me that the body replacer for Diamond City Expansion was in the wrong place, after I had moved that mod to the bottom of my load order to clear up the mesh and textures disappearing in DC. That cleared up my crashed every place but Central Boston. I also know that Armorsmith Expanded is said to be incompatible with Horizon. It said the same thing for 1.7.6 and the game ran fine. Now I have a bunch of percombined clothing mods that have to have Expanded that I want to keep. If I have to I will take them out and try to find the versions that don't need Armorsmith Expanded. Anyway, if anyone with knowledge of modding could look over my load order and give suggestions, I would appreciate it. Warning, Adults Only. System: I07 8 core at 3.2 Ghz, Windows 10 64, 128 GB Ram, twin GTX 1080 Video Cards SLI with 16 GB Vram, running game through MO2 Portable instance. Load order in attached file. Welcome :thumbsup: I need to talk about both Armor and Weapon Keywords Community Resource (AWKCR) and Armorsmith Extended, but first, if there are other threads on how to solve this, please redirect me and I'll have this topic scrapped. I have been running both mods for a long time now, but I have to say I'm really tired of both.. but mods I truly enjoy depend on both :unsure: I run mo2 and I have 7 mod list profiles and they all use a part of AWKCR that I need to fix in the eventual merge patch AWKCR lost it's scope of a simple resource and started doing several things at the same time (without making some of these changes optional, (question on reddits is what AWKCR and Armorsmith Extend won't do), such changes sacrificed simplicity, if you want to enjoy your game modded you'll have open up Fo4Edit and do basic tinkering here and there to fix issues caused by AWKCR and company, but lately I decided I had enough of AWKCR and started removing stuff that felt unecessary, wouldn't you know... Fallout 4 started to run smoother (only other edit to the mod list was the removal of Bounties for you mod, which is a bit infamous for CTD and other performance issues) (be aware my current mod list "Crazy Wacky World" is 377+ combo of esp, esl and some of my own converted esl), but I also had problems with neck seams, that neck hole bug, issue would only happen to PC and persist after "sexchange" console command and any edits in slm 14, that does really break the immersion, I still could use some of the coolest features in the mod without the extras after cannibalizing the mod. I need your support to help me remove the "extra" stuffs from the mods.. paint system, mat swap (I know about the patch but it is extra esp [maybe I should convert it to a esl hmmm]) extra workbenches and other unecessary items, the argument that I simply shouldn't enable AWKCR or AE is fragile (I won't respond to those) most mods in the community nowadays use both, but most mods barely use half of the features presented by both mods, so I need to know what is "safe" to remove and won't cause CTDs or other graphical visual bugs ( neck seam :sick: ) while also still being able to use Creation Club paints Also, older versions are not supported so why use them? has anyone had any success using old AWKCR and AE? Creation Club still work? Can anyone help me? I promise Kudos and my eternal gratitude. Disclaimer: this is not to bash or rant on AWKCR and AE and their time spent working on these mods, I respect their work on the mods and I recognize it is hard to please everyone, however these mods are very popular, a staple of Fallout 4 modding, I also know a lot of people just enjoy complaining about anything, but the intent here is to provide an alternative for people in the same situation as me to make modding a more pleasing and agreeable situation.   12. I installed Armorsmith Extended relatively recently and came across what I thought was a bug just the other day. I couldn't craft a certain ballistic weave despite having all the necessary materials and perks shown, but I figured out that the reason I couldn't craft was because there were extra perks required that weren't listed due to the lack of room (I needed/lacked the chemist perk). Is there a mod that changes up the hud for crafting stations to allow more than 2 required perks to be shown? Thanks
