So I don't know why, but when I installed ENB on my Skyrim and launched the game I already get very bad performance on main menu until it raises up to 30fps. when I launch new game the loading time is very long and when ingame the fps is 60fps but when i look around or open racemenu I get huge lagging the screen freezes for 1-2sec. Anybody have any idea what is going on with Skyrim? First time this has happened to me and never had this issue either. specs: gtx970 8gb ram intel xeon 1230v3 3,3ghz

So I've been trying to find out why ENB isn't working properly anymore for me and why I get huge lag main menu and ingame plus why do I get very bad fps on main menu. I tried to see if my Fallout NV worked normally with ENB, but nope. Same there I get huge lag and bad fps on main menu and long loading times and when I try to turn around the game freezes for 5-10 seconds until I can turn around and experience it again. I really hope somebody could help me with this problem. I've turned Vsync off from control panel, tried to tweak enblocal.ini, tried to tweak skyrim.ini and pref.ini, I reinstalled nvidia drivers but no luck at all. I even went to the ENB forums, but didn't get absolutely nobody to help me. I am really getting pissed because I like to play Skyrim with ENB and now suddenly it doesn't work even tho it worked fine last weekend until I uninstalled Skyrim and all mods plus removed ini files. So what I am asking if somebody REALLY could help me so I don't need to waste my time ripping my hair off and banging my head on wall because of something ridiculously stupid....

I saw similar thread but it's a gtx 980. And it was 6 months old thread. EDIT:Wait a minute, did i post this in the wrong sub forum??? (I play on 1080p,ultra) I clean install skyrim, then proceed To mod them right away, before i played it. I installed realvision enb, some heavy textures mod, paralax and graphics overhaul (like roads, lightning) Exactly the same issue, when i see the mountains outside whiterun, i get low fps,so i disable mod one by one,the weird things, i dont see any significant fps gain only 3-6 fps,i become suspicious ,so i turned off all the mod and, play vanilla skyrim. (yes,i delete the skyrim.ini and skyrimpref.ini after Uninstalling all mods) And I get 32-28 fps. But in dungeon, when not looking on demanding view spot, it's 60 fps.(this is without mods at all) I just couldn't make a sense about this. I mean i can play shadow of mordor ultra easily, i even crosscheck, compare the fps benchmark on Internet, and i have the same,if not, higher fps.avg 75 fps I can also play the witcher 2 enhanced edition, ultra easily,35-45 fps, with ubersampling on of course. Can anyone help me?? My spec: i5 3330 Gtx 970 Ram 8 gb Psu 500w bronze corsair cx500 windows 8

I upgraded my PC from an amd fx8350 to a skylake intel i7 6700k, maybe the best processor for gaming. I was expecting to have the best experience with skyrim but nope, I have a better consistent performance, stability and less drops, but have less FPS compared to de AMD Fx8350. My Video Card is an Nvidia GTX 970. The FPS doesnt go up more than 43. and keeps on an average of 35-37FPS. With my FX8350 I reached +50 FPS in some conditions on exteriors. Also I had reinstalled windows 10, configured my Nvidia Control panel, and all the other configurations like the skyrim.ini files and skyrimprefs.ini are the same, my game is pretty heavy modded more than 250 plugins, but I was playing nice with the FX8350. Also I found that turning off the ENB the FPS goes up to 60FPS and keeps stable so I think the problem maybe is the ENB and my nvidia control panel settings. I have tried anything, including turn off Vsync totally, tweaking my .ini files, and tested a lot step by step, looking for improves, like lowing my Anisotropic Filtering, but it doesn't improve my FPS. Please help
