  1. Do you guys know of any mods or apps to speed up the combat in Baldurs Gate 3. Have tried the Game Speed Mod and it's not working, and also WeMod but it's very buggy for me. If you know of some mod or app for faster combat and want to share it with me, thanks!
  2. Hello everyone! Not long ago I found a video on TikTok where the author (nick @star.sp1t) showed custom Jinx hairstyle mod with physics. Unfortunately, as the author himself said, this mod was created only for him and he is unlikely to want to share it. For a very long time I have been looking in the Nexus for an identical hairstyle for my OC and an option with Jinx would be ideal. The question: can someone make a similar hairstyle or already knows where to download a similar mod? Thank you very much!
  3. so a friend of mine recently got bg3 and started modding via nexus mods, they have all the mods installed and deployed correctly, including the mod fixer, but when they launch the game, not broken, the mods simply arent showing up, ive been using vortex for bg3 mods and everything has been working fine on my end, and can't seem to figure out whats causing them trouble, has anyone else had a similar issue
  4. Greetings Everyone I noticed that it's pretty hard to find any toys around Baldur's Gate. I just thought it might be neat, if someone wanted to, to make child toys to collect. Maybe even potentially wear, such as an accessory/hat/shield/weapon? I didn't know how troublesome something like that could be, so I figured I'd throw it out there and see if it sounds like something some of you might want to do. There's also the idea of adding new objects/toys resources into the game to add more custom stuff. Thanks for your time.
  5. Hello friends, As my title suggests, in BG3 during the beginning of Act 2 you walk into an area that is absolutely covered in holes. I understand the aesthetic and it being creepy but people like myself that have trypophobia cannot look at holes like this. I walked into the area and immediately had to change screens because it makes me want to vomit. From searching online I can see I'm not the only one with this issue but it looks like as of yet no one has made a mod or retexture. I'm 70+ hours into my first run of the game and I've been stopped dead in my tracks because of this area and I'm told that this area is the whole of Act 2. So I need to get through it to finish the game. Any help would be most welcome. I'm going to add this to the bottom of my request and just ask that if you don't want to help, keep your comments to yourself. Phobias are irrational, I know it doesn't make sense to be turned into a sick mess looking at a bunch of holes. I can't "tough it out" or "just get over it." So if any of your comments would be in that vein please just go bother someone else.
  6. My application is crashing at random intervals after loading a save. Vortex is telling me there is an error but is not giving me a specific pathing for the location where the error has happened. Also to note, I have tried deleting the C:\Users\"username"\AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\PlayerProfiles\Public\modsettings.lsx after looking at other bug fix support topics but the application is still crashing.   7. I have been trying for a while now and I can not get the mods I have to work. I read the descriptions, looked online to see guides. Nothing is helping. The mod settings keep resetting and I can't get a game to load in with mods. I have tried changing order, rolling back updated mods to previous versions, excluding mods that might cause problems but I can't get them to work. I have about 15 mods and most come from required mods like the script extender and the fantastical core stuff where you need to download individual pc races. But none show up, the extra spells that are suppose to be there don't show up from the 5e spells mod. What am I doing wrong?
  8. Is it possible to re download deleted mods from authors who deleted their accounts? I am trying to restore Crimson Sun Set, midnight Lovers, Eccentric Royal Outfit, Playable Bhaal Class, Dark Urge Unreleased Dagger, and Alternative Bhaalist Armor Set. I forgot who the mod author was, but I loved their work and kinda upset seeing their work and account is gone now.
  9. Hi there! I've been having some issues with the LSLib divine tool. Vortex keeps telling me to re-install the tool and whenever I do I always get about 13 errors saying that it won't work. Can anyone help me out here? Thanks!
  10. Hey folks! I have been hyper-fixated recently on BG3, but since going on vacation, I have gotten heavily back into Stardew Valley on my laptop--particularly modded SV--and decided to draw Astarion in the style of the game alongside some pixels. This kind of led to an idea to do an actual sprite sheet and then to consider what this would even be like as a mod. I suppose this is a general interest check, request for story ideas (I have no idea how to integrate the lovely folks of Faerun that would at all make sense to the story, and who the farmer would be to the companions is a whole other story), and perhaps some people who actually know how to mod in custom marryable NPCs and maps. Thankfully the companions have more than enough dialogue in game to port over so there is a decent relationship progression (though god knows how the story would progress without Tav or the story lmaoo). Overall, would love any suggestions and thanks folks in advance~
  11. For me, seeing that I have a whole lot of temporary HP is enough to know that Symbiotic Entity is active on my mushroom man. So, I could really do without the green effect after all these hours of seeing Halsin be a hunk of a smelly glowstick.
  12. I started modding the game last night and it was a little unstable so I purge the deployment to look at the load order and stuff. I accidentally uninstalled the LSLib in the process and since then even on a fresh install of the game and mods I keep getting these errors I have reinstalled LSLib multiple times. I have tried new staging folders, a fresh install, I have tried BG3 modloader nothing seems to be able to fix my mess up. The game boots fine but it looks like none of the mod hooks are deployed its just completely vanilla. I do not know how I managed to break it this hard. Please any suggestions would help I am pulling my hair out trying to fix this.
  13. I was thinking of running a Venom character with mods ofc and noticed that pact of the formless one from unearthed arcana could not be found on nexus. I tried to do it myself but fell on my face at step one with mod multitool not detecting my .net. Hey everyone It's been discovered over the weekend that a recent update to LSLib\Divine now requires .NET Desktop Runtime 8 to be installed which we didn't know about, nor did it get mentioned in the changelogs since it went pre-release in December. We are working on a fix as we speak but until then, please follow the below steps to get yourselves back up and running.   15. What the title says. I'm surprised there hasn't been any mod that offers this yet -- at least, I haven't found any mod that makes it so that Divine Intervention is reuseable once per long rest. The only two mods that I have seen that made Divine Intervention reuseable are this one and this one. But neither of them make it so that Divine Intervention is reuseable once per long rest specifically, I believe.
  16. As many of you might know, merchants and traders refresh their stock after every long rest and every level-up. And personally, I find this to be waaaaay too generous in a game in which its economy is already super forgiving and overtly bloated with a surplus of supplies available at nearly every merchant. Now, I know it's because they don't want players to feel as though they can permanently run out of supplies like arrows, but I think there could be a nerf mod that could de-incentivize buying out and/or pillaging merchants so frequently. The behavior in which that merchants refresh their stock after every long rest and every level-up also makes it so that players looking to optimize will know to almost obsessively check and buy out every available merchants' inventories, turning it quickly into a mind-numbing game of buying/stealing after every such long rest and level-up, meaning you can very easily get enough money and items to go through the entire game comfortably without running out super early on. Of course, it also enables frothing-at-the-mouth hoarders like myself to go on shopping-stealing sprees every time a character levels up or a long rest passes. And, well, as someone who now has well over 200,000 Gold and more scrolls, potions, elixirs, arrows, explosives, and Absolute-knows-what-else than I know what to do with, I can tell you that it's just a massive time-wasting chore that I wholly regret. It's still my first playthrough and I'm only just starting out Act 2, for the record. Getting to the requests, I would love it if there's a mod to be made that makes it so that traders only restock their inventories only after a long rest, as opposed to both every long rest and every level-up. I mean, why is it that they re-stock when I level up? It's not as though a level-up implies any significant passage of time like a long rest does. In addition, I think it'd be great if there's a set of mods that modularly disables what gets restocked. For example, a mod that disables merchants restocking on armors in particular, because seriously, who uses any of that cruddy stuff? Except you, Hide Armor +2. You're lovely. Lastly, perhaps to emulate a hardcore campaign rule, it would be great if there's a mod that makes it so that merchants just don't restock their inventories whatsoever. In other words, a 'What you see is what you get, and that's it' kind of rule. It'd make for a much more scarce playthrough that I think at least some of us would crave! #notstonks

So I'm currently in the under dark and I'm trying to do soverigns mission where he wants nere, but every time I hand him nere, I get to the point where the mycanids do their dance and then soverign talks to me, but then after he stops talking, I just get stuck awkwardly looking at him and cant skip or load my game to get out of it, I cant switch characters either to push my character out of the dialogue, its like everything freezes but i can still hear the game and things are still moving, and when I try to return to menu, I get stuck loading forever, if I try to quit the game, it freezes up and I have to go force close the game. Does anyone know if this is just a problem with the actual game or is it a cause of a mod? If so, what mod could be possibly causing it?

Sadly, i've only enough understanding of modding to edit some properties in existing mods. If anyone wants to take part and create a weapon, as close as possible, i would greatly appreciate, that my idea made someone's rerun (and possibly cosplay) a bit more fun.

Not gonna lie I haven't seen Lilith inspired horns yet for Baldur's gate 3 and tbh I'd honestly consider commissioning someone to do it at this point, I've always liked her horn models and thought it would be a dope addition to the chaotic evil tiefling playthrough I have planned. If anyone feels like taking a stab at it lemme know.
  21. Hi there, I am new to modding, but I have had no issues to Vortex or any of my mods until today's Baldur's Gate 3 update. All my mods are up to date. I have done a lot of research over the past 4 hours and I am extremely stuck. It turns out, my Divine tool cannot read any of my mod files for some reason. I will attatch the errors it gives me below. I have already tried reinstalling Divine like the error code suggested from inside Vortex, twice now, and alls that got me was my game crashing when I try to load my modded save file. Any help is EXTREMELY appreciated because I have no idea where to go now. I will leave images of all my mods, mod folder, and error codes so whoever looks at this can get the most context possible. PS. I also was thinking of reinstalling vortex/uninstalling all the mods and starting fresh to see if this works, maybe something got corrupted, but I am afraid I will mess up my save file. The weird thing is literally 8 hours ago my game ran fine no issues.   22. For Baldur's Gate 3, I’d love a mod that would allow you to see unique companion kissing animations with a different companion. For example, use Gale’s kiss animations with Astarion. I realize that this might not work with companions that are drastically different heights, but for similar-sized characters, it seems feasible.
  23. So installed mods fixed my issue with current mods and all then I get into the game and I have no inventory what so ever. Any solutions? Disabled Plus UI and Improved UI/Assets/Dialogue, saved the game relaunched game and still nothing.
  24. So I can’t help but feel there’s a shortage of good looking masks in the game. In fact, the vast majority are very ugly. I have no mod creation experience except skimming through pak files, and have no idea how difficult it would be, but some general masquerade masks and eye masks would be super cool, especially for mysterious chars or durges. Just an idea.
  25. Keep your party using camp clothes, when combat starts, switch to armor, when it ends, revert back to camp clothes.
