  1. A No Building Restrictions mod for dedicated servers. I don't know much about how mod making goes but would love to see a mod like this made for specifically dedicated servers in mind
  2. PLEASE Can someone just make a mod that is just a simple configurable file or increase max bases by like, 1 every 5 levels or every 10 levels. Looking to add this to a dedicated server and no one needs 100 bases or 15 bases by level 15
  3. Could a hero make a mod that allows the storage/inventory of chests in each base be shared? I can't stand having to teleport and grapple 50 times to transfer ore and coal. I'm sure many others would agree it's just a pain and this would make building your bases more expansive and give more options than just a main and one or two ore/coal bases.
  4. Do you like to play No Man's Sky? Which way is better? Playing Online Playing with friends, making friends too, or just the feel of being among others while playing the game? Playing Offline. All space, all on your own, and no bugs. Playing Online or Offline: with or without Mods?
  5. The settlement aspect of the game doesn't serve any interesting or active purpose. So my suggestions would put the raid aspect to better use, and make your involvement with settlements fun and challenging. I really don't know much about mod creation, so I put them in order of complexity (or at least what I think would be more complex to create...) 1. A mod that increases the frequency of raids. When you install the mod outside the game, have the frequency linked directly to a preset difficulty level, i.e.: -Easy = raids every hour (real time, or whatever the equivalent of in-game time would be). -Medium = raids every half hour. -Hard = Raids every 15 minutes, and maybe at two different locations, forcing you to choose which base has more value. Maybe you can clear one fast enough to make it to the other in time. -Very Hard = Major Raids every 15 minutes for an hour (like the ones that are structured in multiple waves, with a behemoth boss at the end) with a half hour break to rebuild any losses and re-think your base layouts for defense improvement. Maybe only have them happen during the night, so you can still quest during the day or vise-versa. 2. A mod that changes the characteristics of the raids themselves. Generally improving the variety of units that attack (Wave 1 = 100 Roaches, Wave 2 = 25 weaker ghouls..... wave 50 = 10 Mirelurk Queens...lol, etc.), and have either a set number (20 for example) of increasingly difficult waves OR having a never ending amount of increasingly difficult waves and see if you can beat your record, and eventually be good enough to make it through the whole night. The sun would rise and the waves would stop, giving you the time to clear out any remaining enemies and strategize for the next night. Basically, raid frequency should be the backbone of the mod, and then any improvement after that would be great! This was just a very quickly thought out idea, but it seems like the kind of mod that could be popular and improved over time in various waves.. er I mean ways. Edit: Also this would give players something to do once they've done everything there is do do in the game.
  6. There are some mods out there that increase the variety of obtained resources from scrapping most scrapable objects. but i thought why not go a step or two further? what i'm thinking is when you scrap, say a ruined vehicle like a bus or something, instead of, what, 25 steel, 2 nuclear material and 1 scrap electronics as example. instead from a bus you'd get 250 steel, 40 rubber, 6 oil, 5 nuclear material, 30 glass, 70 fabrics, 340 screws, 50 plastics. as example. you should get TONS of resources from deconstructing a bus. But don't go thinking this is going to make base building a breeze, for scrapping one bus. the buildings and pieces used to build custom buildings will require A LOT more resources to compensate. like a simple corner piece from some shack would require at least 60 wood and at least double the nails to build. more realistic resource demands from things big and small of buildings/objects constructable by the player. and for other constructs like crappy scrap walls, just think how many pieces of metal are on this wall?, how much wood is used in this wall?, how many screws do you think it would take to hold up this wall? and just use that as its build requirement. constructing whole prebuilt house plans would of course require a lot of resources. 300/400+ wood, well over 800 screws/nails (whatever), maybe some metal in there somewhere. you know stuff like that. hm, questions?
