It would be delightful to have a large bonfire craftable at a settlement. Even just a pile of burning stuff, like at the Forged encounter area. The small campfires are nice, but a big bonfire would be stellar.

Greetings! I was dreaming about a mod in Dark Souls, which would let the Minibosses respawn as the common creatures as you spend time on the Bonfire. I was also thinking, if it could include some kind of a system, where you can choose yourself, which Boss would respawn at the bonfire too - so maybe not EVERY BOSS would respawn on the Bonfire, but one/those of your choosing. What do you think about this idea?

Is there any way to make durability actually have a purpose in the game, like remove the bonfire function that makes it so that durability might as well not be in the game? ds1 had it right have durability something to have concern about, even the weakest weapons take forever to break at least have it so that loss actually matters and not completely negate it with bonfire auto-fix

Is there a mod that removes the automatic repair feature from bonfires? I am used to and prefer the ds1 playstyle in which you actually had to repair weapon/armor degradation, I want that back :( just saying if you're gonna have a degradation system don't make it pointless and completely negate it with another mechanic.

I was wondering after three years there's still no mods that port over the original particle effects? Mods have been made between both PC and Switch versions of Remaster, and we've been modding PTDE since forever. So why after all this time is there still no mod that fixes Bonfires? Item souls? Believe it or not, only the mentally deranged enjoy Dark Souls 2 and how it's been shoved into the Remaster.

Dear Dark Souls modding community, Buying upgrade materials and other expensive items is way too easy. You just grind a bit and collect the souls you need. I was thinking how I could limit the amount of souls you can carry. I thought of a solution. Could it be implemented, that after you collected the amount of souls that is needed for the next level. You auto-warp to the last bonfire you have rested at and you cannot leave until you spend the souls on the level? It sounds easy, but I am like the John Snow of modding: "I know nothing". So "It sounds easy" is an ignorant statement of mine. But considered the mods i have seen over the last couple of years. Mods like Scorged Contract and Daughters of Ash make this idea seem like a walk in the park. I hope that I presented the idea clearly enough, and i hope someone sees it as a worthy investement of his or her time. Also my apologies if there is already such a mod in existence. Also apologies for any language mistakes, I am Dutch. One last thing, if you think this is actually not too hard too implement, and it could be considered as a good starting project to learn Dark Souls modding. Than I am very willing to learn from you. Kind regards, Dennis from the Netherlands

Hi everyone, Problem solved. verified the files via steam. all good now no need to read. every time i get close to a Giant´s Camp the game will CTD. I modded my skyrim SE, cleaned the dirty files, sorted my loading order as good as i could. every thing is working fine exept the standard crashes after a few hours of playing  (no prolems in doungens or cities) its the bonfire or the area around it, that causes the problem. i tested it now for quite a time. as long as is stay away from the gaint´s camps i can play without problems. Its definitly not the Giants or Mammuth that cause the CTD. I met some away from the Camps and everything was fine. Is there a easy way to remove the Bonfire or the hole Camp from the game just to see whats happening without them in the world? my load order (atm) Skyrim.esm Update.esm Dawnguard.esm HearthFires.esm Dragonborn.esm Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch.esp SkyUI_SE.esp UIExtensions.esp RaceMenu.esp RaceMenuPlugin.esp Wildcat - Combat of Skyrim.esp Book of UUNP Iron And Steel.esp DSerArcheryGameplayOverhaul.esp Bikini Armors.esp Vivid Weathers SE - Extended Snow.esp Vivid Weathers - Extended Rain.esp FNIS.esp XPMSE.esp nwsFollowerFramework.esp LCHB_HomeBase.esm LC_Citadel.esp Vivid WeathersSE.esp VioLens SE.esp Book of UUNP - Textures.esp Hermit.esp Backshields.esp P3ACH_Astrid.esp CBBE.esp TheEyesOfBeauty.esp Ordinator - Perks of Skyrim.esp Alternate Start - Live Another Life.esp Open Cities Skyrim.esp ShieldsofSkyrim.esp Chesko_WearableLantern.esp Point The Way.esp Faction Crossbows.esp RealisticWaterTwo.esp RealisticWaterTwo - Waves.esp RealisticWaterTwo - FlowingLakes.esp RealisticWaterTwo - Open Cities.esp Veydosebrom.esp EDIT: -A new loadorder is on the way -removing RLO made it better but still crash as soon as i get closer Note: -maybe its the large fire animation ?! is there a known problem/fix i m using vortex. thanks for upcoming help maybe someone has a solution.
