  1. Esteemed Modders. I hope you are all well. I have 3000+ hours in skyrim and I still enjoy it. However, I am in great need of a good boss overhaul. I am not talking about mere stat boosts. I am talking about actual mechanics. There was a mod called "Violent Alduin" it was exactly what I was looking for (regarding alduin). However, it recently got removed from Skyrim SE and I no longer am able to use it.(I have messaged the modder who ported it and requested it however I received no responses) Alduin is too weak and lacks any mechanics other than a meteor shout which is practically a joke. Lord Harkon, Miraak and Ebony warrior lacks a good boss fight mod. I have used many mods that overhaul them but they did not make the fight memorable. I see Ebony warrior as the final challenge of my playthroughs and he needs to be peak end game fight. Alduin should be very challenging like in the past mod "Violent Alduin". Harkon and Miraak especially Miraak need a deserving mod. I am kindly asking you dear modders to make a quality boss fight mod that will make this old skyrim dude happy. Even porting Violent Alduin from LE to SE would still be appreciated.
  2. ...this is yet another "why does my Oblivion CTD" thread, to add to the many that have come before it. Won't be the last neither. I started playing Oblivion about 3 years ago, and it's certainly been humbling to attempt to mod it without routine ctd's. So I can appreciate that the Oblivion engine simply isn't optimized for a heavily modded playthrough. That being said, this time around, I meticulously attempted to configure my current set up with a more cautious procedure, and so each mod was added one at a time and tested somewhat before the next installment. And wouldn't you know it? I got pretty far. It's a pretty stacked list and has run reasonably well. There was, however, ctd's, and they become more prevalent the more I modded the game. I had a little mod called "Keychain" by "mmmpld", which I uninstalled, at the advice of some other CTD thread that mentioned "Keychain" as something of a dangerous mod. And it actually helped! At one point my game would crap out within 5-10 minutes and sooner sometimes if I accessed menus or loading screens. Now I can potentially go 20-30 minutes without ctd (haha). So there was definitely a difference being made. I'm curious what you guys think of my remaining load order, and if you can identify any other problem mods that might cause this remaining routine ctd problem I have. (perhaps cobl?   3. i was thinking it would be really cool if someone made a small quest with a boss creature that fights similiar to how malenia does in elden ring (doesnt have to be exact but would be cool to have something similiar) probably make the fight happen in the entrance to sky haven temple the spot where you put blood onto the floor as she is "the blade" of miquella, im assuming her move set would have some sort of lifesteal on her blade, and maybe she applies some sort of overtime damage to represent the scarlet rot, doesnt have to but a two form thing would be cool too to give her wings , that after defeating you could recruit and has similiar moveset to boss version, maybe toned down a little, im sure people are already working on armors from elden ring as the soulborne series is a passion project for many people and some of the best modded armors come from so id be happy to hear if anyone else thinks this would be cool or if anyone has already started something similiar, just a cool suggestion for a mod

  6. When I was playing Elden Ring, it really caught my eye how most bosses keep their health bar for their second phase. Except for Malenia and Rykard, with Malenia making some sense and Rykard not in my opinion. But, I was thinking that for all bosses with a second phase (I.E. almost every single main boss), they would get a second health bar. Hoorah Loux gets stronger with his full health, and Fire Giant becomes longer than ever. It's a small idea I had, but first I need to know where I can find boss health/data in the files or if it's even accessible.
  7. I have no more bosses to fight, so I really want new ones that are challenging but fun to fight against like Malenia, Godfrey, Morgott and Radagon.
  8. A feature that will allow us to resurrect bosses and fight them again. I know it's possible, please. Yeah this feature is present in ERR, but I don't need many other things from this mode. That's all, nothing more, just the ability to resurrect different bosses without starting NG+.
  9. ****SPOILER WARNING****DO NOT READ IF YOU CARE ABOUT SPOILERS**** I had a realization recently...and people might find this a bit silly (it is, tbh...but I do have a point, I swear!). I don't actually hate any of the bosses in Skyrim. There are personal reasons for this - let me explain: I'm pretty unusual as a person, I guess. I am part of the goth subculture (this is relevant, you'll see why). Obviously, I won't explode if I step outside and into the sunlight in real life...but playing a fantasy game where unrealistic things can happen...for example: Being goth, I tend to play "goth" / "goth inspired" characters...so...a vampire who wants to block out the sun. I'm 100% on board with that!! Whether I choose to become a vampire or not, it still helps my player character to keep her nice, pale complexion! Even if not a vampire, she'd probably still choose vampires as allies wherever possible. They have things in common lol. Black clothing, pale complexion, hate sunlight, spooky interests, coffins are cool, etc. See where I'm going with this? I mean, don't get me wrong...Harkon is definitely a jerk. Especially for what he pretty much forced his family to endure. Helping Serana get revenge against her power-mad father is awesome...plus, sacrificing mortals is not very nice...but I tend to play as Chaotic Good-ish...and also a Daedra worshipper...so I'd probably side with Harkon as far as blotting out the sun goes and then find another way to solve the "Vampire Take-over" problem. Technically...vampires are people too. Serana herself is proof that they are not ALL evil. It doesn't help that we get Auriel's bow and can still blot out the sun (in a much weaker way) anyway. I'm all for helping Serana defeat Harkon - he most definitely deserves it...and I agree that Serana shouldn't have to DIE for eternal night to happen...I dislike Harkon because of his bad decisions / power for hunger / disregard for his family...but I like his general ideas. My point is I don't hate him as much as I should. As for Alduin - I can't really hate him either. Depending on how seriously you take the lore, he's either going to destroy everything or he's rebelling against his duty to destroy everything. If he's rebelling, my character would be 100% on board with that as well. Go against your destiny! Why not? Sure, she's the Dragonborn who's supposed to save the world from "The World Eater"...but he's a BLACK SPIKY DRAGON! How can she not find that cool?! He's either just doing his job, or he's rebelling against his own nature. How can anyone hate him for that? Miraak is under the control of Hermaeus Mora and is eventually betrayed because...DAEDRA. They don't care, and also don't exist by the same laws / morality as mortals. I hate Hermaeus Mora more than I dislike Miraak. But we never get to actually FIGHT Hermaeus Mora. If we did, we'd pretty obviously not win...but STILL. The point is...TWO DRAGONBORNS!?!? She'd definitely be intrigued at the very least and want to learn / find out as much as she could from him. Sure, he's a jerk too...especially the dragon-soul-stealing and hypnotizing people...but Hermaeus Mora is still much worse! Trying to force her to be the "new champion"? No thanks. She has already pledged her soul to Nocturnal. She'd do everything in her power to escape Hermaeus Mora. Especially since he tries to corner you not once...but MULTIPLE TIMES. Actually, she wouldn't like Molag Bal very much either...with his whole 'domination' thing. But we can't fight the Daedric Princes...and if we could - like I said - we wouldn't win. My point with all this rambling and ranting is that I don't feel "fulfilled" defeating these bosses. Which is majorly due to my own / my character's nature. I don't play as a 'Talos Worshipping Champion of Meridia' and use the "Power of Light and Sunshine" to defeat my enemies. If anyone knows of any mods that add...idk...evil unicorn rainbow pixie pink cupcake princess glitter bubblegum bosses...that want to...turn Tamriel pink...and cause eternal sunshine and rainbows and infect everyone with the giggles...*cringe*...please let me know.

So, I've noticed something about a couple bosses within the game, they appear to have unique/special weapons and body pieces that the player has no access to, and as someone who has unlocked every achievement in the game, I can confirm that there are supposed "Hidden items" within the games files that would be epic in the player's arsenal, particularly in the Fires of Raven when you fight Ayre's incredible looking AC, with unique weapons and body appearances. My request sounds simple but may take a while to make: Pull all hidden items from all the boss ACs that can be compatible/made-compatible with the player AC. I know modding is in its infancy when it comes to AC6, and another thing that's necessary is some sort of AC6 mod manager that allows compiling of the regulation.bin file, so multiple mods can be supported. I'm here to voice my desire to see these things made manifest in this game, which I have no doubt it'll happen eventually. After all I can't be the only one interested in these things. I look forward to seeing what the community manages to come up with this game. It has great potential in the modding scene. :)

  12. Having issues with the final boss of my quest. She's suppose to talk to you, but she isn't. It's weird, because earlier she was talking just fine. IDK what changed to make her not. I do notice however that for some reason in her Player Dialogue, along with what she's suppose to say, she's also connected to the riften guard that tries to shake you down for gold. Could that be causing the issue? SHould I delete it? I'm worried it's going to cause some nasty effect if I do, so IDK if I should or not.
  13. Hello there, Im needing help with (what i consider to be the biggest) script for my mod. What Im wanting to do is make a script that, after talking with her, the boss will go hostile and attack. After roughly 1/3 of her health goes down, she teleports to a location and a miniboss pops out of a coffin and attacks. once you beat it, she comes back and you begin again. 2/3, same thing. once you beat her, Im wanting to make it so that everything stops like a cutscene, s#*! starts exploding, rocks start falling, the boss's soul is screaming in agony and you are teleported away to a new cell before everything goes BOOM! soooo yeah, anyone wanna help me with this?
  14. Hi! I have created a quite powerful vampire enemy NPC, and want her to be the boss of Broken Fang Cave. I am using SSEEdit, since the CK doesn't work on my end. I have opened the records of Broken Fang Cave, and in Temporary, there is a placed NPC which is the vampire boss. I have copied that as override into my mod, and replaced the NPC with my vampire. When I launch the game, however, it doesn't work: there is still a generic vampire master in the dungeon, instead of my custom vampire. Am I missing something? Thanks :D The NPC is flagged as unique, if this would be relevant (I don't know what that flag does, is there a documentation of this somewhere? The CK website doesn't mention it)

I dont know if it would be possible, but can someone make a multiplayer safe save file that has enough runes for level 150 with all the talismans, weapons, sorceries and items, but with nothing defeated yet? I want to play through the game trying new builds without investing hundreds of hours into the game.
  16. Pretty self explanatory - Is there a mod where you can replay bosses? Or a modder working on something? I'm trying out different builds, summons and weapons in offline mode and would like to test different things on the same boss without having to get out of the game and getting an old save file or going into ng+. Coop doesn't really work for what I need as i don't want to be the "let me solo her" and not everyone want to just watch. I've looked around and couldn't find anything decent. Would be great if it could be an option to revive the area boss at a respective nearby grace or at the "return to entrance" beacon in dungeons. Thanks for the help :)
  17. There's a number of tough and/or memorable fights that I'd love to be able to relive any time, or perhaps use for practice. Say I'm trying to get used to a new weapon, and wanna challenge myself against a Crucible Knight, or a particular boss several times in a row. Maybe this could be handled in-game with two reusable items, or incantations with no stat requirements; - Using/casting "Ancient Rite of Reanimation" will revive all non-respawning enemies in your save-game that have already been killed. - "Lesser Rite of Reanimation" will revive any non-respawning enemies within a certain radius from the player [maybe tied to the nearest Grace or Stake of Marika, since you typically find those near tough fights], and can be used in cases where you want to fight a particular enemy again for runes or practice, but don't want this to affect every other enemy/boss. Is this possible? I could care less what you call it, or if it has to be handled in a less immersive fashion. But yeah. Respawning bosses without starting a new file/NG+. I'd love it if someone made something like this.

  19. I installed BOSS to maybe fix some missing meshes in kvatch rebuilt. It corrupted the load order so that frostcrag reborn castle disappears. I will the correct load order, need to grab it first. I have to add FCR and COBL additions after everything else is loaded.
  20. NMM can't use omods. So, I need to OBMM. After running BOSS with the latest masterlist, it corrupts the load order. Frostcrag castle outside disappears. Using OBMM, I have to uninstall both the omod and cobl additions. Then install the omod then cobl additions. It works fine after that. This is the corrected load order.   21. Hello, I'm new to the forums. I have in the last two months started playing Skyrim on PC, and have enjoyed a plethora of mods. But some of the best moments I have had thus far have been against the 'end game' boss fights in many mods. I have been thinking lately, instead of the Nexus being flooded with endless amounts of followers and follower support mods, it might be refreshing for modders all around to go the opposite route, making custom 'end game' style enemies that either roam a specified world space or find a home in a vanilla dungeon. (If by chance this is not such a fresh idea I would appreciate being pointed in the right direction for search criteria, I haven't seen anything that nears this description thus far). Furthermore, I think it could be a really interesting idea if, say, a MCM controlled utility could manage a database of custom adversaries, much like "Familiar Faces by Verteiron", perhaps these specific downloads could extract to a specific file path where the character files are managed. And you could dictate where specific adversaries are staged, maybe their general stats and behavior as well? Modders would also have a chance to showcase custom armors and weapons in action and as a reward that doesn't require the creation of a quest chain. Considering that, I thought The Nexus could also host say, perhaps a contest where the most impressive custom adversary (based on *place imagination HERE* criteria) wins like a pink bicycle or perhaps something more practical. Anyways it twas only a thought, but I thought perhaps it would be a provocative one to the community. As a last note, I don't know if The Nexus even hosts such things and I wouldn't want to presume to ask them, but I've heard that there were player house contests in the past SOMEWHERE and if it wasn't through the Nexus then maybe someone else would be interested in hosting such a deal.
  22. I was recently watching a Link to the Past Randomizer playthrough where every chest gives a random item. I thought that having a boss randomizer for Dark Souls would be really cool. The way it would work is that every boss area has a random boss in it. So for example the first boss could be Sif instead of the Asylum Demon. I do have experience with coding and whatnot but I have never made a mod before. I would love the chance to make this a real game. If anyone can point me in the right direction for making this a thing please let me know.

  24. I'm pretty sure that this topic has been beaten to death, but I'll add my two cents anyway: The save system in Witcher 2 is, simply, annoying beyond belief. Tedious is also another word that comes to mind. It's not nearly so much that I mind being killed a lot by the various "bosses" such as the Kayran, it's being forced to sit through the lead in cut scenes time after time after time that I find extremely annoying. Of course, there's an up side. When the irritation maxes out, then I quit for several hours...sometimes even days...and go do something related to the real world.
  25. Hello there fellow Skyrim devotees. I've been looking around for something like this but thus far failed to find it. So I will post my idea for the mod here. So, after beating certain bosses, have you wondered how challenging or more exciting would the fight be if you were an even higher level? I did. And I soooo wanted to fight Miraak, Alduin or Harkon again, with better armor, abilities and what not! So the basic of the idea for the mod is to allow you to re-engage these bosses in fight once more. They would have course scale with you as they normally do. How would you start these encounters again? Well theres no need to but I wanted to make it lore friendly as well: Inside the Bannered Mare in Whiterun, you will find a child. Apperantly an adoring fan of the Dragonborn. New dialog options with him will open whenever you beat any of the bosses (Miraak, Alduin, Harkon, Vyrthur, Ancano etc.). So you wanna fight Miraak again? Click the dialog option "Let me tell you how I defeated Miraak!" (Or something in that line) And you get teleported to Apocrypha on the same place where you beated Miraak. He will be there together with his dragons. After finishing the same dialog and scenario he had when you first fought him the fight starts again. His armor, weapons and level are all scaled of course, depending on your level. After the fight is finished you will teleport back to Bannered Mare before that Child. And same goes for all the other bosses. This is just an example. I never made a mod in my life and I realize that what I might be asking for is difficult to make. But what do you think fellows? Would you like to see something like this? Would anyone like to try to make this mod? Thanks in advance! ^^
