  2. Hello guys. I got CTD when unequiping bound sword. I can cast/equip bound sword with no problem. I used XP32 Maximum Skeleton Extended with sword on back style. I have YY Anim Replacer - Mystic Knight, Baddass Dual Wield, and New Animation-1Handed Weapon-Combo Exclusive mods which involve equip/unequip 1h animation. I also have run LOOT and FNIS but they did not state any error. This have been the 3rd time I reinstall skyrim so I have no corrupt save or get the common casting bound sword ctd. I also have done the ressurect/resetinventory fix for this problem and of course it did not work. I cannot find any solution in other thread so I need anyone who expert in modding to help me. I am suspecting that Im missing the 1hm_boundswordunequip.hkx because when I take a look at my skyrim directory, I only have the 1hm_boundswordequip.hkx. I search all the mods I mention above and did not find any 1hm_boundswordunequip.hkx. Do the 1hm_boundswordunequip.hkx is needed and it is my problem or there are any possible explanation. I really hope someone can help me figure this out. Thanks in advance!
  3. so i'm a novice modder, and came across the DSR mod. tried installing it (failed, miserably at that) so, just uninstalled it, previous clean save, ect problem came after i tried using bound sword (which my character primarily uses) upon equipping it in the right hand, the game CTDs I figured i uninstalled it wrong, reinstalled, initiated uninstall via MCM, ect still crashed. finally bit the bullet and uninstalled/redownload the game, redo all mods with the exception on DSR, and still doing it. somehow. fairly certain it isn't another mod doing it, as it never happened before DSR. any help/advice is appreciated.
  4. I was wondering if anyone would be interested in creating a mod to recolor the Bound weapons in Skyrim from blue to red. I think it would be awesome. It would also fit my character perfectly since I'm always a dark elf ranger sporting Nightingale Armor, and Daedric box and Daedric sword. I think the added red would be perfect, and I'm sure there are plenty of other players who would agree.
  5. I would like to see a mod that changes the weapon style of the ones you summon. For example, I use bound sword as my primary source of damage, but i don't really like the daedric style sword, even if it is lore-friendly. I would like it to be a Draugr (ancient nordic) sword, 'cause I really love that style instead. Maybe the mod could have even an option where you choose to remove the blue-flaming-transparency effect on the sword, I definitely would love if it was a standard sword.
  6. I'm attempting to replace the mesh of the Bound Sword to that of the Imperial Sword instead of the Daedric Sword. I was able to use Nifskope to change the mesh and textures, and everything works perfectly except the BSLightingShaderPropertyFloatController. If I put the alpha on BSLightingShaderProperty to something like .5, the sword pops in right away. So I know something is going wrong with the Controller that's supposed to change the alpha during that opening animation. Here is my new file and the original for reference. Could someone could take a look and see if I've missed something? Thank you. P.S. I'm new, as of today, to Outfit Studio and Nifskope (I have experience programming and 3D modeling, but I was never good with textures). What I've done so far in detail: I used Outfit Studio to insert the ImperialSword mesh into BoundSwordEnchEffects.nif (since the current version of Nifskope cannot import). Then, in Nifskope, I deleted the lighting controllers from the ImperialSword, copy-pasted the lighting controllers from DaedricSword to ImperialSword, then deleted DaedricSword. I then changed all texture references so they pointed at ImperialSword textures instead of DaedricSword textures. Then I replaced the .nif file in the data folder and started up the game. When I summoned the sword, the flame effects were there, but the sword was invisible. I changed the alpha on BSLightingShaderProperty from 0.0 to 0.5 and tried again. This time, the sword popped in right away at 1/2 transparency. If there's a simpler way of doing it that you know of, please share. P.P.S I still need to change the fire effect shape, but that's just reshaping a mesh. If I can get Blender to play nice with .nif or find a workaround, that won't be a problem.
  7. Hello, any kind help or guidance would be appreciated. I'm looking to have a follower use a custom sword -- a daedric sword -- to activate a bound sword effect (should be easy since the bound sword is a daedric) once the NPC starts to use it. I'm guessing a script is involved, either attached to the magic effect and/or the weapon itself. I'm also hoping to figure out how to recolor the bound effect from the regular blue tone to a green color. Does anyone know of a good tutorial on this? Or know where in the CK I'm to look to change the color? Thanks! What I have tried already is looking at some mods and how they have done it but can't seem to pinpoint where to recolor. Again thanks for any assistance!   8. Simply put, I want to replace the daedric model for the Bound Sword spell with a katana-type sword. Preferably the daedric katana from the Weapons of the Third Era mod (which I belive I already have via Immersive Weapons) or one of Insanity's works, but I'll settle for basically any decent katana model, including the vanilla Blades sword. I'd preferably it just replace the bound swords, but I wouldn't exactly mind if it replaces all the daedric swords as well if that's what it takes, since I never really use them anyway.
  9. Ass it says in the title, I'm looking for a way to change the animation for bound swords so that they are not sheathed, but disappear as your hands go down, the same as sheathing spells. Am using dual sheath redux to cover it up for now, but most of the time i just switch spells after using the conjured swords, then drop my hands. Looks better, I could never understand why you would sheath a bound weapon like a normal sword.
