  1. Hello guys, this is a Mod Request for Skyrim SE/AE, for fixing a bug, which occurs in Skyrims movement: In Skyrim SE/AE the player character stutters when starting to run or when changing movement speed, WHILE being on sloped ground (hill). Unlike in Skyrim LE, where the movement is smooth. Take a look at this video if interested, i showcased it there. The problem doesn't seem to get fixed by any mod. Not by bugfix mods (i tried many, basically all of them) or miraculously by mods that alter movement like True Directional Movement, S.M.C. - Skyrim Motion Control, or by mods that change animations (stutter happens even while t-posing, but not in LE). Additionally i tried to see if different versions of Skyrim would fix the problem, but to no avail. 1.6.1170, 1.6.640 and 1.5.97 are the ones i tested. I just posted this for the possibility of an incredible modder seeing this, that wants to address this issue. Since the bug isn't in Legendary Edition, i wondered if there might be a "fairly" easy solution like porting LE behaviour to SE or something... If anybody has an idea what could be the cause i'd highly appreciate a reply. I don't really have modding skills, but if anyone wants to address this issue, i offer my help wherever i can.
  2. Hello, i found this headache inducing movement bug in vanilla Skyrim SE/AE (yes guys, you probably all have this bug), and i'm curious if anyone knows a fix for this: In Skyrim SE/AE the player character stutters when starting to run or when changing movement speed, WHILE being on any sloped ground (hill). Unlike in Skyrim LE, where the movement is smooth. Take a look at this video if interested, i showcased it there. The problem doesn't seem to get fixed by any mod. Not by bugfix mods (i tried many) or miraculously by mods that alter movement like True Directional Movement, S.M.C. - Skyrim Motion Control, or by mods that change animations - stutter happens even while t-posing, but not in LE. Additionally i tried to see if different versions of Skyrim would fix the problem, but to no avail. 1.6.1170, 1.6.640 and 1.5.97 are the ones i tested. I even tried installing Skyrim on an other computer, that never had any mods installed - and the bug still happens. So, if you have any idea or just want to express your feelings towards this unfortunate matter or if you actually know a fix, you're very welcome to reply :). --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [Operating System] Windows 10 [Skyrim Version] 1.6.1170, 1.6.640 and 1.5.97 [Launching Platform] Steam [Actions Before Bug] Clean install for version 1.6.1170, then downgrade to 1.6.640, and further downgraded to 1.5.97 [Does doing the same set of actions consistently reproduces the bug?] Yes
  3. So I've just starting downloading a couple visual and color mods, and now my sun texture is overexposed and a large octagon in the sky. The only weather mods I have say they should all work together: Climates of Tamriel VRealistic Sun for COTV - Realistic Sun and Sunglare - Vanilla Ed - V2COT Weather PatchSupreme and Volumetric Fog v2 for COTEnhanced Lights and FXI've tried re-installing Skyrim and all of the mods listed above, but the problem still persists.
  4. So I have a question to any modder that would know the answer to my question. I have always used FO4Edit after downloading a new mod to see if there are any conflicts with ones that are already installed. Well, I have some that do just that. And as we all know (and I am saying this respectfully), sometimes modders have a full plate and can't update as quick as they would like because they may have other mods to work on, or real life has shown up at the door. So I would like to know (photo provided) how I can fix them in FO4Edit. I'm not really new to FO4Edit, I have know the basic conflict fixes with a typo difference from mod against an .esm, or I have also fixed that a mod would have something listed in the wrong location versus an .esm or .esm & another .esp. Or it's a long string of 2 decimal number sets that go beyond the size of the allotted screen size (I have seen a lot of missing strings on decimals that I can't fully see to fix & match to stop a conflict) I am in no means trying to republish any mod as my own. I just want to be able to fix it on my end so that way I don't run into problems. And the more informed I am, the better I can explain my findings to the original modder in a PM. So below is the issue I am having with a mod, I just want to know if I need to, I guess it's called "Unpacking", or is there something else I need to do. Because this mod has a whole string of red flags. It's a major mod in inventory sorting so it's kinda important to have in my run through. So any kind of thoughts on how to go about this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in taking the time to read this. BadWolf
  5. Hey. So I decided to make a post on how to fix some uncommon bugs. Bug #1: Laggy ass main menu Fix: Clean out your save folder located in C:\Documents\My Games\Fallout 4\Saves. (Apparently if your saves folder is too big ( in my case 4gb LOL) it'll lag the the hell out of your main menu). Bug #2: INSANE RAM usage. ( in my case 12gb and more sometimes, which made the game unplayable). Fix: Adjust page file. DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK. DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING. the correct conversion, when manually setting a page file is, 1.5 - 2 times your installed system RAM. (Note: page files are often not big. for whatever reason using this conversion ratio solved my problem completely). Bug #3: Crash on save (this could be for many reasons, but in my case it was bad config settings) Fix: Delete your fallout 4 configs from C:\Documents\My Games\Fallout 4, and run the launcher to generate new ones. Bug #4: Invisible textures / models. Fix: This is caused by missing assets. Make sure all textures and meshes are in the correct folders. If i find more i'll be sure to post it here! Frost.
  6. Melee combat needs overhauled very badly - I'll put the things that would make melee combat much more enjoyable first and reasons (bitching) second DoT effects made useful (dangerous for NPC and player alike) 1-handed/2-handed options (speed vs. damage) Attack animation speed (esp. for the PC in 1st person) Block (hold) with significant penalty to percent damage blocked (this is important when fighting animals with very fast attack speed) NPC Block rate NPC Percent damage blocked Guard break Executions (DaedalusAl's The Dance of Death from the Skyrim Nexus - more or less) I play solely melee in 1st-person on very hard. I'm over level 70 and melee combat is definitely not OP like I keep hearing. My character is clean, I don't pump myself full of drugs, I just eat food and use the melee perks. At this stage of the game I pretty much hate getting into a challenging fight because it's either suicide or takes forever to kill a single enemy. Sometimes the former is even true for weaker enemies. I have some of the best melee weapons in the game - some even more powerful with the legendary modification (swap only) mod. Yet melee v melee is a painstaking process with virtually zero entertainment value. Tactics are to swing once, block, swing once, block, swing once, block - over and over again until the enemy stops blocking me (for all of my damage). Trying to time attacks in order to interrupt incoming attacks is virtually impossible. Charging a ranged enemy usually results in a perfectly timed elbow by the NPC that interrupts the animation. On and on it goes and I'm sick of it. I've poured all this time and effort into a build that ended up just being lame. I'm not looking for melee to made easy - I want a challenge - I want it to be more varied and versatile with less repetition (notice melee damage isn't on my list) Tl;dr Random a**hole blocked my unique super sledge with his fist Please feel free to share things you think I should add or take away from this list Not just items but details for already listed items Anything to help improve the post and get the word around The inspiration for this post was MadMAX713's Super Mutant Redux which I think looks really cool but would totally suck ass with my melee build the way melee combat currently works.
  7. Hi all, I'm preparing to play DA:I for the first time. This will actually be the first time playing any of the Dragon Age series. Would you folks advise me as to what patches/fixes I will need after installation? I'm most concerned about a stable game of course, but I'm also looking for opinions/options for mods that improve the game and enhance the experience. I've played Morrowind several times--vanilla and lightly modded--and Oblivion even more--vanilla and heavily modded. I've learned (or would "tamed" be a better word?) Wrye Bash so I have a bit better than basic knowledge of managing mods. At least for Bethsoft games. This is my first shot with a Bioware game. Advice and warnings are greatly appreciated. As far as my game play style--thinking this will influence what mods you might suggest--I tend not to be in a hurry. Heck, I played Morrowind for 4 1/2 months before I got to the end the first time! So visual detail and immersion are important. I enjoy side quests as much as the main quest, sometimes even more, and I lean toward lore-friendly but won't exclude a particularly good mod simply because it tweaks the legend a tad. I've played as various characters but strongly favor a stealth mage role. Thanks for your thoughts and help!
  8. Ok so i've had this problem for a couple of days now, and i've tried a few things such as INI tweaks ENB tweaks removing mods etc and i just cannot fix it my shadows in game are going spastic.. 9. Hello, I'm having a constant reoccuring issue where my game crashes right outside of Windhelm. I can't even completely cross the bridge. I have just over 200 active mods and I'm running Seasons of Skyrim ENB along with Skyrim Summer Edition. I've organized my mods with LOOT and it doesn't send up any red flags and as far as i can tell there is no conflicts. Please, someone smarter than myself, if you could look over my load order and tell me what the problem is. Here is my load order:
  10. I wish someone managed to make an unofficial patch that fixes a lot of these game braking bugs, especially the Pisco quest. It's been 3 years and still no official update. :wallbash:
  11. Hey guys, sorry for another age-old CK crashing post. I try not to waste other's time by asking for help over trivial questions that I could figure out myself, but I've honestly been struggling with this for the past few months and I'm almost at the point of just giving up. I've been working on a fairly large and detailed house mod for the past year now, and until about four months ago I was having absolutely no issues with the creation kit. Then suddenly, I'm guessing after adding or changing something in the interior of the home, the creation kit just started randomly crashing after exactly 10-15 minutes, no matter where I was in the cell or what I was editing. I've poured over hundreds of forum posts and scoured the internet looking for any and all possible solutions, including the infamous audio fix and disabling the tablet process, among many other things. I've even tried to reload old, old backups of the esp with the prospect of redoing months of work, but the problem somehow persists. I think at this point the issue must be related specifically to the mod itself, not a problem inherent with the CK, as I don't experience any crashes while editing any other cells. I've used a few of my own custom meshes and textures throughout the house, but I've been using them since the beginning when I didn't used to have crashes, so I don't think they are the culprit. The only other thing that I could even begin to guess is that perhaps it might have something to do with room bounds and portals, as I think that the crashing might have started shortly after I decided to start optimizing the home, but I really have no idea if that's even feasible. The mod works perfectly in game, there's no missing textures or anything seemingly out of the ordinary, so I'm honestly completely stuck. At first I just decided to try and live with it and resolved myself to the fact that I'd have to endure the 5 minute CK load every 15 minutes, but it's slowed down my progress by so much that it's just not worth it anymore. Again, I've put over a year's worth of work into this mod and it would be absolutely devastating if I had to waste all that effort for such a silly thing, so I'd really appreciate any further suggestions or ideas that anyone might have. Honestly, I'd take anything at this point. Thanks in advance for any help you are willing to give <3
  12. make it into one big mod to reduce load order script issues with all patches and clean up any inconstancy between them
  13. Hello everyone, I'm Foxxtrott141 and recently I started replaying fallout 3 and thought " This game needs the major bugs to be fixed " and so I have decided that I am going to overhaul the game engine so that it runs more smoothly on Windows 7 and Windows 8 as well as attempt to fix the alt+tab bug that causes C.T.D's ( Crashes to the desktop ). So, I've created this post so then, you guys, can post any bugs that you would like to see fixed and I'll work on getting the first version of this mod created. Information on what the grand picture of this "overhaul" mod is going to do for fallout 3: 1.) Optimizations Well first things first, I feel that performance and fluid Gameplay is a big priority of the list of things I'm thinking of re-doing. The few things so far that I have figured out is a complete overhaul of the game engine so then Gameplay is a lot more enjoyable. As well as, Less frame drops in certain areas. This will create a better immersion in the game that is fallout 3. 2.) Cosmetics A second thing I feel is important to fixing fallout 3 is fixing some of the low poly textures and such. As well as re-doing inside of buildings and such, but without sacrificing performance. As well as fixing character models. 3.) Other A few things I was thinking about is: Voice acting for your characterBetter character creationFixes to the weaponsMore weaponsBetter PhysXFor now that's currently what I have thought of, However, I am open to suggestions and that is the whole reason i opened this thread. But don't come up the impossible. Remember, This is being created by a two man team. So, I can't push out this mod extremely fast, as well as too much content. Just keep that in mind. Have a nice day!
  14. I just started playing Kingdom Come: Deliverance v.1.9.6-404-504. Has the command console been removed from this game? Nothing happens when I press the ~ key. It works with Skyrim and Skyrim SE. Can’t get any information on Steam.
  15. An request for an fix to Automatrons suddenly unassigning themselves from resources. Bugs: Automatrons can end up at any point forgetting what they are assigned to. Food, defenses, even salvage. What I request is a simple fix where they remember their jobs.
  16. I'm looking for a console command or a mod to that will allow you to make a character recruitable for settlements. I looked around on the web at a couple of sites including the wiki for console commands and scanned them carefully and nothing. The reason being is, there's this trader named Rylee. Pretty notorious for being bugged out, yet this is my first time encountering the bug ( I think it may have been from me boosting my character's level to 31 with the player.setlevel command.). At anyrate, I have the proper perks and all of that stuff and even readded them with console commands. I even disabled and re-enabled her. Please don't tell me I have to start a whole new playthrough and legitimately get the perks.
  17. What Will This Topic Be Going Over? Skyrim has too many glitches that need to be fixed, it's a beautiful game, even for its time, and today. and for it to be drowned in glitches does not give back to what was projected to us. We need to work together and make Skyrim, well, Skyrim, and not focus on those little bugs, or at times a bug ruins a game. Skyrim deserves better!. What Are Some Of Skyrim's Flaws? Multiple Armor Sets - When you transform into a werewolf/vampire you can easily equip multiple armor pieces, weapons not so much, as the game has a limit of how many weapons can be equipt at once. This allows for so many possibilities, and all these possibilities can ruin the game. :ohdear: No-Clip With Plates - By grabbing a plate, either a platter or a wooden one from any counter, or even holding it inside your inventory you can drop/lift one into the air, and prop it up against a wall while running at it, after a slight struggle you will easily plop through the wall. Yup, it's no-clip but inside your inventory. :wallbash: Whiterun's Escape Barrel - In Whiterun's city, as soon as you enter you'll look to your right, and as you look you will notice an empty room, look's like it should've been an archer post, but instead there is a barrel, he looks like he was purposefully waiting to lift you up and out of the city, he's good for escaping the cities guards... You can use this to escape and go into areas which are not normally visitable, if you explore near the Companions forge you will eventually glitch through a rock, passing you through and into the forge keepers hidden chest. Why would you rob an old fellow like that? The Hide'Yo'Gold Move - In Skyrim, when you go off and buy a nice home from one of Skyrim's few real estates dealers. You'll notice when you enter the dialogue which initializes the home buying procedure, you can exit the conversation and let the seller go on and talk for a couple seconds, you can enter a container, oddly this can be done with a corpse  you can hide your gold coins inside it, and wait for the seller to finish speaking, after they are done speaking they will give you the key and access to the home, not a coin spent and you get a lovely home. A nice strategy for the homeless  Legally Blind - In Skyrim facing an enemy is like pretending invisible with a toddler in real life. You're the toddler and the foes are the parents... The NPC's shouldn't play along with your little kiddish game, especially if in a situation where it's life or death. v v v v v v v v v v v v v v v v v v MORE ARE COMING SOON... ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^
