I have recently re-installed Skyrim and I have discovered that I can't move my mouse at all in the main menu or in game. The skyrim cursor is stuck in the middle, however if I move my mouse to the edge of the screen, the windows cursor appears, but i can't click on anything. I can also drag the window despite it being in full screen and if i plug in my xbox controller I can use that. When I shift tab to the steam overlay I can still move the mouse around fine, so it's just in skyrim itself. I have tried unchecking controller support, don't have raptr or xfire installed and made sure it's not a mod conflict (vanilla skyrim), so I'm really stumped here.

Vortex is requiring me to log in to be able to download mods. When I go through the process and authorize my account it says I have successfully logged in, but when I go to vortex it is stuck saying "please click authorize on the website." When I use log in with a token, it just says "invalid token" when I copy and paste the token. **POSSIBLE SPOILERS** Ok... need some help here. Playing Nuclear Option through with the Minutemen. Got to the reactor room, planted the bomb, talked to Preston... Preston calls Sturges for teleport, and ONLY Preston teleports away, with the quest marker lingering where ever he was. I stood there waiting a long time, and nothing! Not myself or any other character gets ported away... any ideas?

So yeah, I get this whenever I try logging in to NMM, I restarted my PC, reset my password, and made my firewall not block NMM, but this did nothing, are the servers down? If not I'm completely clueless on what's happening, does anyone know another way to fix this?

So as the title says clearly, I can't seem to move the selector(?) to a different option other than "continue." Whenever I try to push the down key to select "New Game," it immediately moves back up to "Continue." I can also hold the down key and make this really annoying rapid clicking sound. It's almost as if the game thinks I'm constantly holding down the "up" key. Any help would be greatly appreciated, and thank you. (Also happens in Fallout: New Vegas)

Resolved: Had to change Actor.pex file with "clean ones" from skse. Thread can be closed. Hi, in these days I'm having a problem with equipping torso armor to my character. Everything used to be ok with my heavy modded Skyrim, but now my Character and all other males npc are naked (except for helmet, boots and gloves). I remember that few days ago I've installed a mod which replaced "Actor.pex" file and other things, but nothing that could lead to such a condition for my game. When I load my save (even if I load an older one or restart the game), my character gets "automatically" stripped in-game from the torso (exactly like when you start a Sexlab Animation), then when I try to put on the torso again it looks like it's working (I hear the sound and see the armor on my PC through the menu-window), but when I close the equipping menu the character gets stripped again. Same thing with other males characters (even guards, everyone is torso-naked). If I try to equip a torso armor using the console commands it works and the armor stays, but I cannot remove it from my equipping menu and I can't remove it / drop it except via console commands. Even when I play a sexlab animation involving my character, the armor is still on. Useless to say that I have several mods including Sexlab, SoS and many armors/npc replacers, Indeed I think this problem is linked to sexlab, sadly still don't know how to resolve it. Any advice?

I can't actually fight anyone using frost magic, and I'm sure you can guess why based on the name of this post. It doesn't matter if it is frostbite, Ice spike, Frost wave, or even frost enchanted weapons. I am always slowed to the point of me not being able to move at all, even my attack and casting speeds are abysmally slow! Does anbony know how to fix this?

Hi guys, i don`t know if this topic has already been solved or not, but I have a huge Problem. So I installed Requiem and other mods (with Requiem-Patches if available) and now I can`t interact with some NPC`s like Weylin and Kleppr in Markath. There is no option for, like, even talk to them. Why could that be? I already cleaned my Update, Dawnguard, Hearthfire and Dragonborn.esm but still no change. :sad: I had Mod Organizer and BOSS sort my load order and I can`t figure out the Problem. Before Requiem runs the Skyproc Patch, everything is fine, but as soon as Requiem has configured itself ingame, I can`t interact with some NPC`s. I subscribe, hit play on Steam, and the downloads do not start. Why? (and also gets stuck on "Preparing to launch The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim...")

So, I'm trying to download some DA2 mods, but everytime I click to download it just goes down to the descripition and when I try to go to the files page, it goes up, I can't download anything this way, can anyone help me? I'm using Google Chrome

i want to add reputation with the NCR but when i do addreputation F43DE 1 100 it doesn't work...i do the same thing with setreputation and it doesn't work. i even do player. before it and it doesn't work please help its getting extremely irritating :mad:

I recently tried modding Skyrim, I was going to try texture mods first but when I installed them, nothing happened. I exited the game, went to the mod manager and noticed the archive invalidation wasn't activated. When I hovered the cursor over it, it said "Reset Archive Invalidation", I clicked it and nothing happened. There was no check on the side of it like usual showing that it's activated. I did recently re-downloaded and installed it. Before, when I was modding Fallout NV, it was just fine, but now it's doing this. I tried uninstalling the mods and tried to activated then, but nothing happened. Any help will be appreciated.

Hello all! So I've been searching the web for an hour now with no help as of yet. I've installed a decent amount of mods on my Fallout NV and one in particular is causing me a good amount of trouble. The worste part is: I CANNOT remember which mod it is as I have not played in a while. The mod turns nipton into an "infected town" filled with ghosts who cannot die and toxic fog that kills you quickly. It's very difficult to progress the main story with this one, so any help is appreciated! Hey, I can't fire or swing any weapon while moving forward with a W key. I can with the Q,A,S, and D key though. It's weird. The only mods that I'd imagine would have anything to do with this are: And Ironsights mod, and A sprinting mod.

Hey, I was just asking a simple question whether sharing a before paid mod was fine (Arissa) Which is gone from basically everywhere. Its a total douche move to ban me from chat. I wasn't even sharing the file. I was just asking before doing it. I would understand if you ban me for sharing the file... BUT I HAVEN'T EVEN SHARED ANYTHING! Im simply asking a question. If its about piracy, well you could have simply said "No you cannot share that file cause it'd be wrong" instead of banning me from chat.

Getting crashes for almost everything, for running around, speaking with merchants after fast traveling. Fast traveling, saving after fast traveling, during combat, after combat, after looting, while standing around. The game just crashes so frequently that is nearly unplayable. It is running at a steady 80fps and still will crash all of a sudden for no reason. Have tried checking for incompatibilities and there doesn't seem to be conflicts. Anyone can help with this? what are the common reasons for suffering these kind of crashes? Running YUP, Stutter remover, FNV4GB, low res textures, still crashing.

Hello! I've only JUST recently delved into the world of recoloring things in Skyrim. I have a character I'm using for a story, and for her specific role, she needs a specific horse. To get that specific horse, I figured "Oh, okay, I'll just extract Shadowmere's texture from the .bsa and make it ENTIRELY black in GIMP, and edit the eyes and saddle. No biggie". How wrong I was! I've never had so much trouble recoloring anything within the world of gaming! You see, my saddle retexture came out entirely fine. It's Shadowmere being absolutely stubborn! He remains that same ole dingey brownish color (that I hate)! The eyes remain unchanged as well. I'm not talking about the glow, that's something I actually prefer. I need a vampiric horse, and it seems Shadowmere is especially immune to vampirism (retextures). :I So... I'll tell you how I went about this. I extracted from the .bsa, edited it in GIMP, and exported the edited version to my desktop. From there, I copied the directory string (starting with the Data folder) WORD FOR WORD AND CASE FOR CASE, and placed the edited version in the new directory I made on my desktop. I then took that directory OFF of my desktop and merged it with my Skyrim Data folder. The Saddle shows up fine! It's even in the same folder (they had the same directory in the .bsa)! But NOPE! Not Shadowmere's sleek new look! Why is this? I'm about a good ten seconds from ripping my hair out over it! Is it because Shadow's technically an NPC, thus he may have something needing to be done in Creation Kit (which I'm a total newbie at)? I'm at a total loss here, because oddly, the same thing is happening to some wig recolors I edited. HELP! ANY info is MORE than appreciated! I am experiencing crashes upon fast traveling, or entering/leaving new areas, if the are is an interior it will not crash, only exteriors or "fake exteriors" do. I disabled the auto save and it keeps happening, it doesn't even stutters when it happens, it will just load for a little bit, and then crash. Any ideas, or better, any help?

UPDATE 2014-07-01: This issue is caused by the current version of Immersive First Person, likely an incompatibility with another mod I'm using. The mod author, meh321, appears to be aware of this issue and is working to fix it (thank you!). If you're experiencing this problem, I suggest either uninstalling the mod for now, downgrading to an older version, or trying out the 1.9 beta, which attempts to fix the bug. It works for me, but keep in mind it's a beta so you may experience other issues. Hey all, When I loaded up Skyrim today I encountered a strange bug. My character can look up or down but not left or right, and he can't move. When I switch to third person, the camera is stuck at the closest zoom level, and my character and follower both appear frozen - for example, I had had a torch out when I saved, and if I switch to a shield the model switches out but my character continues to hold the shield out as if it were a torch. No one appears to be breathing. Even weirder, if I try to draw my weapon, no animation plays but the sound goes NUTS, apparently playing the first 0.01s of the 'draw' effect on loop or something, probably stacked on top of each other since it was loud and sudden. Needless to say, I jumped and it hurt my ears. I've tested with multiple saves, all have the same issue, so it's a mod problem, which makes sense since I updated some 10 or so mods before starting the game today. My gut tells me it's an animation problem, due to the frozen characters and such. FNIS and FNIS Sexy Move were among the mods I updated, but I of course ran GenerateFNISForUsers after doing so, so there's no reason that should have caused a problem. I'm running a heavily modded game, so I know issues are to be expected, just wondering if anyone knows what mod is likely causing this. Hi there! Recently i've encountered a small but annoying error in my modded Skyrim playthrough, It seems some of the spells that have been added by mods cannot be equipped. I click on the spell in my 'Magic" tab and it puts a black arrow next to the spell as it normally should, but the arrow neither has an 'R' or 'L' written in it. Even though it doesn't say 'R' or 'L', whatever hand i equip it to, it just makes my hand empty as if I was fighting bare handed. This happens across a few of my mods, but it seems to effect the mod "Vilja Companion" the most. I'd greatly appreciate any response or help given! Thankyou!

So I've had the Legendary Edition for Ps3 since it came out. Now I want to reset my Dawnguard DLC and choose a different side. Problem is, the usual method of deleting and reinstalling the DLC and latest patch won't work because there seems to be no way to delete the DLC. I deleted all traces of Skyrim from my hard drive, including my save, which I kept on a jump drive, but when I put the disc back in and let it reinstall, the DLC was already back on there without me having even chosen to install it. Has anybody else had this problem? I don't own a vanilla copy of skyrim so I can't just pop that in and do it that way. I tried converting it to a PC but the console commands don't seem to be working for me. (or I just can't use them correctly to wipe an entire quest-line.) When I try disabling Dawnguard and try to save on my PC game it crashes. When I try deleting the DLC manually through the files the game won't even start. What can I do? At this point I'm thinking about just renting a vanilla copy, lmao.

I'm very new to the Nexus, and I must just be doing something wrong. There is no confirmation button, so I'm not quite sure what I can do to fix this. I can't seem to change my preferences to allow Adult Content. I want to get the 7Base body for Skyrim to grab some cool armors that one of my friends told me about. I was told to use FireFox, although that didn't help much. I still wasn't able to view Adult Content, and my settings reset every time I went back to 'Edit Preferences' -Thanks

My Oblivion.ini in "Documents\My Games\Oblivion" won't let me edit it. I can open it and alter the text, but when I go to save it, it will freeze and not respond, forcing me to close it. I also cannot delete it, or copy it, or move it. I even tried deleting it with the cmd prompt, and that didn't work either. I'm assuming there aren't mods that can really have this effect, so I posted this here. Anyone heard of this before?
