  1. The only thing I wish I could do in the game is change the overworld character from the MC. I would love to walk around the world as my fav character instead of Nowa. I completely understand to have him be in the cutscenes and wouldn't want that to change anyway, but I would love to walk around the towns or map as my fav character. I wonder if it would be possible to mod it in as all characters are only sprites. But I don't know if all sprites have walking animations for all the different angles. Even if they didn't and it looks a bit odd when they move I would still download it. Would love to hear peoples thoughts!

  3. I've been searching for about a week and I'm pretty sure nobody has made this mod yet. I would love a mod that allowed a player to adjust or change the colors of magic (eg. Fire, Shock, Frost) Personally, I want all of my fire spells to be purple and my shock/lightning spells to be a nice yellow or golden color. But if a mod was made to make it as simple as inserting a hex code or adjusting a slider this would have implications on so many different types of role play that people might be interested in. I would imagine that it would target the magic based off of what it qualifies as instead of just by name. which would allow the mod to work with modded spells. For example, any spells that would do fire damage or would benefit from shock-related perks would have their colors subjected to the mod's settings. Honestly I just want purple fire and if possible yellow/golden lightning. A mod that could accomplish that would be stellar. If there's any mods I may have missed that would achieve similar results I would love to know about them.

  5. So basically I would like to make a transformation power like werewolf, where you could change into the Hulk and SMASH! There is one mod on the Nexus, "Hulk Out", that is almost what i want. But you change race into a tall orc instead. I use the most recent version of Racemenu and have created two presets both Nord. One Preset has adjusted body size/slides/morphs and green skin color so they look just like the Hulk. I would like to know if it's possible to switch Racemenu presets in game using a power via scripting?

I would like to replace two of these main-menue sounds with them, but I don't know how to do it, which leeds me to this request. Looking forward to someone who answers and can do this.   7. Is it posible to change the model of a weapon from a script based on its current tempering level? Am i right in that wornobject script is the only way to handle it and the lack of a setmodel function there means this is impossible without a skse plugin adding said function or there is another way to approach it?

I'm trying to make a simple mod that will force the Player Actor to change their texture set to a different one, forcing a unique texture for the player different from the rest of the race, with a variety of conditions that could work if one doesn't. Of course, I've never used Papyrus before, and it's quite frustrating. Is there anyone out there that would be willing to help me make this simple thing work?
  10. So I'm editing the Fallout.ini, FalloutPrefs.ini and Fallout_default.ini and basically I have a problem. (I already marked off the .ini setting, 'read only'.) So I'm editing it to handle threads more efficiently, for better stability. Thing is, whenever I tried to save the settings, it said "This .ini file is encoded in ANSI format and has Unicode lines. To save the Unicode lines, you need to change encoding." So I changed all the .ini file's encoding as Unicode, because it was set to ANSI as default, and apparently it had Unicode encoding already. After changing the ini's to Unicode encoding, I could successfully save with no errors. So my question is, is it okay for me to change the encoding on the Fallout.ini, FalloutPrefs.ini and Fallout_default.ini to Unicode encoding from ANSI? I'm pretty sure it's much better if I do, but I'd just like confirmation. Thanks :)
  11. I have been looking in the forums, honestly but i could not find the answer to my problem. So i installed SKSE, SkyUI, SkyrimUnbound, CBBE, bodyslider and the Tera Pack remoddeld armour mods for CBBE body styles with the Nexus Mod Manager (NMM) and later again with the Mod Organizer (MO). They are all activated. When is start up with MO i can launch Skyrim Unbound choose my character and starting position and then nothing happens, the game freezes. When is start with SKSE i can run the game, load old saves and start a new game, but i do not see the CBBE body styles nor do i get to option to switch to them. How am i supposed to change my character and if possible the NPC's to the CBBE body style and how do i change their Armour ? I have been trying to solve this myself for over a week but i can't get it to work. Any help would be highly appreciated !

  13. Hello guys! First of all, this topic is about two things, here we go: 1 - I'm trying to make my own textures overriding others, like changing the color of one cape or armor piece. I use the iGP11 to dump all the textures and found the ones I want to edit, but heres the problem when I try to open with PhotoShop, its all black with just some little pixels around, its like 99.5% black! Is there a proper program to open these textures? 2 - If someone can't teach me the first question, then someone can just dye some armors? I can list a few if someone could do it. Thank you for reading this far!
  14. Hey guys, as you can see from the title, I am using Chesko's Wearable Lantern mod in tandem with Darker Dungeons and an ENB to ensure I got enough light on my adventures. It also worked great until lately, when: -Lantern when equipped would not show on my character no matter the position and would not emit light which now resolved itself I guess but now -Lantern emits light when equipped but is invisible on its equipment position with only the flame showing. Casing is invisible My second problem is that when I load my safegame, my hair color is changed from a custom made Red to a black. I can easily revert that by reloading my Racemenu preset .json but it is annoying. And my third problem is that I use Sneak Tools which should grant me an option for a popup menu when pressing "Use" on a NPC while sneaking that two options "Slit Throat" and "Pickpocket" should appear, which doesnt happen all the time anymore. I kinda assume I have an SKSE issue or similar, but as these arent MOrganized, I am cautious on fiddling with them. I also find it very weird that these problem appeared out of the blue. I did some mod-cleanign with TES5Edit but have reverted the changes with the help of the backup files. No mods were added and no mod order changes applied. I regularly use LOOT to organize plugin order too. If you need mod order to help me, I will post it.   15. I have an idea for a very specific mod but not idea how to make it so. I want to make it so that pre-war books found in the game can be used to gain experience. For example, if you consume one book, you gain +15 experience. Not much, but consider places like The Lucky 38 which are filled with books. The problem is that a pre-war book is a misc item and not an aid item. I don't know how to change the class of an object, and I'd like to make it so you wouldn't have to create a whole new item for the game: you could just edit the ones already existing in the game. How can I fix this? Any ideas? I'll give credit to the people who help out the most in the mod. Any feedback, good or bad, is appreciated.
  16. Like the title suggests i want to change the items you get as reward for completing certain quests of the civil war questline (for both stormcloacs and imperials) to some custom items. Unfortunately those enchanted swords, shields and what you get arn't unique so i can't just replace them. I took a look at the quests inside creation kit but i couldn't find any clue about those items. So, does anyone know where the path to this quest reward items is set?

  19. Wondering if you can change the value of a parameter within the function just like any variable declared within it or are they read-only. Silly example: Int Function(Int A) ;Do some stuff altering A passed in value Return A EndFunctionInstead of: Int Function(Int A) Int B = A ;Do some stuff altering B value which is A passed in value Return B EndFunction
  20. I've successfully edited the hair and face of many other NPCs, but for some reason Njada is problematic. First tried to give her an Apachii hair style, but the dark face bug was only fixed by deleting her mesh facegeom file. The change npc weight fix didn't stick after a cell change or save load. Ctrl + F4 in the CK had no effect. Then gave her a new vanilla hair style and changed her hair color to black. Her hair color changed, but not the style and the dark face bug returned. Deleted mesh facegeom file again. Her CK created esp is at the bottom of my load order. Looking at the esp in TESSEdit shows it to be the conflict winner with other mods. Edits in the esp that are sticking are changes to her outfit to remove the helmet, skin tone, face tints and face morphs. Not the hair and hair color. Really curious about why Njada's hair is so difficult for me to change. Thanks for any help!

I am new to modding so i am still on the basics and this might be a noobish question

  24. First of all, i hope i'm in the right section. :confused: Let's see if i can make this understandable; I'm Italian, and i play an Italian copy of the game. Very often, when i install a mod that is created with an english version of the game, a lot of names of things in the game turn into english. Now, the point is: I'm creating a mod using my Italian files in the GECK, but obviously i want everyone to use my mod without turning things in italian for them. How do i do it? ._. Is there a way to operate that doesen't give this problem, or have i to work on an english copy, if i want to make an english mod? God a chicken writes better than me in english. I hope this is understandable, even a little bit. Sorry for my bad english, and thanks in advance. (Don't hate me please)
