  1. the idea is turning no-bark noonan in novac into a sane person, and possibly a companion if the players wants to bring him along you would do this by implementing a dialogue option when he brings up the many rad-scorpion stings for a medicine check (75-100, depending on what you want) if you have the required medicine level, you can fix up noonan, making him a possible companion if you want, he could wear a vault 13 jumpsuit and have dialogue referencing the theory that he is the chosen one (FO2), possibly mentioning fighting the enclave and whatnot (just an idea based on a fan theory) just an idea, could be cool

I was looking for a mod that would stop my companions from getting hostile towards me if I get bored and start shooting up Diamond City, Vault 81, and etc. and make it so they either just go away to wherever I send them or stick around and help out.... I never save if I randomly just start shooting people and they get in the way when I have to keep attacking them because they never die. Also is there a command line that will remove NPC's from being essential so I can take out the whole town/city before I reload and play the game the right way? Thank you
  3. Hello Nexus modders and mod community. For the longest time I've been scouring the internet to find funny companion mods for fallout 4. Even though I've found quite a few, I'm still yet to find a fully voiced Hank Hill companion mod. If there are any modders who have been considering to make such a mod and need a voice actor, then look no further. I've been told I can do a pretty mean Hank Hill impression and think it would be pretty cool to be apart of a mod project. Attached to this post will be a sample of my Mediocre impersonation.   5. I am surprised that (with previous easter eggs for them) I find no Venture Brothers mods. I saw (several) mod videos where people had changed all of their companions to sexy female humans.No surprises there. What with the voice of Strong not changing when you change his race to human, or gender to female, he would sound perfect as Dr.Girlfriend. I think a lot of people would like that, and all it really takes is a bee costume (ok, texture) change for Strong. No, I'm not after a mod to romance Strong (nor should you be). Anyway, I thought it would be funny to have a mod to change Strong into Dr.Girlfriend. I'm sure Venture fans will also want Monarch and Bee suits..,, Any takers?

I feel as if dogmeat really brings a survival feel to the game but unfortunately I feel like he lacks compared to other companions, but I still want to use him because i want the survival feel, what I would like to see is a companion mod that allows you to be able to have for example Preston or Valentine as a companion as well as dogmeat, I think that this would be a cool mod.

If anyone is thinking about taking on a job like making a companion mod with many lines of dialogue, character development, and a high level of interactivity, let me know.   9. I have been working on companion characters but lack the professional modding skills to implement them in the game. I will be doing a series of companion characters that I have written and developed and have voiceovers that some of my friends have done. It will be YouTube series and I dont mind Modder prospective on Physical mesh and textures but all I ask is that the modder keeps voice overs and background story of the character in their mod and ask promission to use the character.   11. I was playing the game yesterday and thought how cool it would be to have Corporal Betsy as a Companion. I'd obviously want to see her and Veronica hit it off, so if anyone thinks they can pull this off, just say so... we should also work on dialogue as well.
  12. So, I've been meaning to post this for a while and life hasn't allowed me the time. Basically, I'm no modder. I can barely change simple things in the GECK. I can't make someguy200-level quest mods on my own. And frankly, there aren't enough amazing mods on the nexus that rival someguy's professionalism. Come on, guys. We can't let AlChestBreach go out of business here. We've gotta make new content! I'm an author & an artist. I tell stories all the time. I can write an amazing story. But I can't program for s***. I can't use the GECK for s***. I would love to write stories for compitent modders, people who have a knack for modding but who are running out of story ideas. Here's my first idea for a quest mod; Ziggy the Zombie - I've had this idea for a while. I tried this mod myself and didn't get very far at all (like I said, I'm technologically impaired). The story starts when you find a loner ghoul near the ant farm chopping up ants with his axe and wearing wastelander hobo rags and a pip-boy. You speak to him and find out that he can't really talk, and most of his dialogue is written movements and animated hand gestures. With an intelligence or a speech check, you decipher that he's looking for someone that he lost. You offer to let him join you, and he becomes your companion. When you open his inventory, you find a note labeled "To Whom It May Concern," The note is from Taizela, a young adventurer who used to investigate the Enclave's old projects. The note reveals that Ziggy is not a genuine ghoul; he's the product of a desperate supersoldier project that the Enclave performed not too long ago, shortly before the NCR drove them from the area. You learn that the secret facility that Taizela visited was full of kidnapped patients, most of whom were labeled by a letter of the alphabet. Patients X and Y were combined into one person, patient Z. Patient X was a violent lunatic hopped up on drugs and completely unresponsive to requests. Patient Y was as docile and obedient as could be. The Enclave hoped - after all their other projects failed horribly - that combining the two people into one would make someone who was both bloodthirsy and obedient. They were almost right. When Taizela stumbled into the chamber where patient Z was held, she accidently triggered his resurrection, and patient Z came to life. After thumbing through his files and reading "patient Z" over and over, Taizela decided that giving him a proper name would be more fitting. So, she named him Ziggy the Zombie. The two of them made a narrow escape, and from then on, they stuck together and traveled the wasteland for years, always avoiding the Enclave scouts who would occasionally pursue them. The note ends with a request to its reader, stating; "If you've found Ziggy without me, then that means I've met my end out there. He probably doesn't understand what's happened, so please, break the news to him gently and find him a place to stay. Look after him - or if nothing else, find him a home. This is my last will and testament. Please do right by him, because he's the only person that's ever been undyingly loyal to me, and he doesn't deserve to be left on his own." At this point, you will have three choices; you can tell Ziggy that he's allowed to live comfortably in the Lucky 38 suite (if you have the suite in the game already), you can suggest that he go to the Followers and take up a job as a hired guard, or you can keep him with you. The first two options will end his quest and forever end his companionship with you. The third option will keep his quest going. If you are interested in finding out what happened to Taizela (which will be necessary to the quest), you can ask Ziggy what he remembers about the last time he saw her. He thinks for a moment, then runs off to an isolated bunker entrance near the Northern Passage, and you follow him. He stops at the bunker entrance and points at it. You ask him what's inside, and he makes a bunch of wild hand gestures, symboling guns, ghouls, deathclaws, and firepower. Please note that most of his dialogue - since he can't talk - will be written descriptions. Example; <He raises his hands and cranes his fingers like a deathclaw, then makes a motion as if he's firing a rifle of some kind> inside the bunker, you will find a variety of creatures and humans that've been driven mad after they were experimented on. You can pretty much add any creature and any person from any faction to this bunker and make them hostile. This will be the grand fight scene of the quest, so please, go all out (make a lot of enemies, but don't make them overpowered). This would also be a good place to add lobotomites from Big Mt. The bunker must also be noticeably Enclave. The Enclave soldiers will be lying dead all around the bunker due to the containment breach. Once you reach the bottom floor of the bunker, you will find a room full of computers, and Taizela will be lying dead on the floor. If you trigger one of the computers, you hear an automated recording of Taizela's last encounter with the Enclave, who she just couldn't help to bring down. "You can't stop me." "Like hell we can't, girl. You and your pet zombie are outnumbered. Give it up already." "f*** you. Ziggy... get ready to run." "Girl - step away from the machinery. Now." "No. You wanna make super soldiers out of everyone in the Mojave? You wanna terrorize everyone in the world with your sick experiments? Then here - see what you make with them." *Audible buttons being pressed, alarm goes off* "CONTAINMENT BREACH! CONTAINMENT BREACH!" "... you little *censored*." "Ziggy - Ziggy, RUN! GO! I'LL MEET YOU ON THE OUTSIDE! JUST GO! GO!" *Static consumes the broadcast, and the recording ends* Ziggy then opens up dialogue with you, and he appears devastated. He growls, and he's visibly furious at seeing Taizela's dead body. You have two options; you can convince him that everything will be okay, that Taizela died a hero after taking down the Enclave so that they wouldn't terrorize the world anymore, and that you'll always be there to look after him from here on. Or, you can share in his anger, and you convince him to grab onto it, to let the rage fill him up so that he might seek revenge one day. If you choose the peace option, Ziggy will try his best to calm down, and he will remain a loyal companion to you after the quest. If you choose the rage option, the anger will take over him completely, and Ziggy will go fully hostile; he will attack you, and you will be forced to kill him. That's the end of his main quest. I want Ziggy to be loveable, but also noticeably psychotic. He is foolhardy in battle and he prefers melee (mainly just his axe), and it's implied that he is sometimes cannibalistic, as you find strange meat pies in his inventory. I would like to make a lot of dialogue with him, just so you can ask what he thinks about the things he sees in the Mojave (the NCR, the lights in Vegas, etc). I would love to write his reactions to those little things. I really want to make him interesting and immersive, and roleplaying with him is an absolute must. He's supposed to feel like a real, genuine companion, a lost dog in the wasteland that you adopt and get to know. Ziggy is sweet and loyal, but he's also unstable, and he's incredibly intolerant of anyone threatening his life or the lives of those he cares about. If anyone would be interested in pursuing this project, I've love to do the writing for you. I'd really like for this mod to have proper grammar and a certain immersiveness that feels like a part of the game. Please get back to me. :smile:
  13. Hey, I was hoping that someone who knows how to make a companion mod with the companion wheel and some basic dialogue would be willing to post it here... it would make it so much easier for me to make a companion mod, as opposed to taking a shot in the dark and hoping for the best.
  14. Been looking and waiting for a mod (a stable one at least) that would make Honest Dan a legit companion after the completion of his side quest. There's one I've found on Nexus, however it's extremely outdated and was left with many issues. A while back, I just figured it would happen later. Found it surprising it hasn't. Dan is a hell of a character and would make an awesome follower. I'm guessing it shouldn't be too hard considering there's already the actual character and voice files. I'd like to even try myself, however, finding the time to relearn how to use the CK and everything is a bit intimidating.
  15. I recently started a new playthrough of New Vegas, and, having gotten a new Hard-Drive since last I played it, had to re-install all my mods. I was initially distraught when I found the old stand-alone Raul overhaul for FCO had been made private, but was relieved when I discovered it had been rolled into FCO itself...except for one thing. For some reason, they got rid of his 'stache. That glorious handlebar 'stache that helped look like more than just 'some ghoul' no matter what outfit he wore. So I say we bring it back! I do have a picture of the old version of the mod that did have the mustache for reference. You can check it out here. Also, while we're (hopefully) spiffing Raul up, maybe make some unique eye textures that actually look like they have cataracts? And fit in with the other ghoul eyes in FCO of course.
  16. Hello, everyone! I need a little help in creating a mod to bring back some of Fallout's cherished companions. I need a voice actor who can portray Fawkes from Fallout 3. If possible, I may also be seeking to add Lilly to the game from New Vegas, but it would be as a secondary role.
  17. So, I would have posted this in the ME1 forum, but for some reason I don't have access to it when I sign in? Though this will affect all three games, so I'm not sure if I should be posting it somewhere else entirely. Getting down to the bare bones, I would like to create a mod which adds a Batarian companion to the game. I feel like we've never gotten to see much of the Batarians, and it would be nice to have someone who can give their side of things. I've already developed the character and created dialogue (which can be found in the attached file) and am looking for anyone who would be interested in helping with the other parts of the mod - modeling (possibly), programming, voice acting the main characters (I'm willing to voice the Batarian, but if someone with more experience - and likely better equipment - is interested, that works too), and anything else I'm forgetting. I have not actually created a mod before, and am aware that this is an ambitious project for someone who has never created a mod before. And, for the sake of anyone wondering who this character would be, here is a brief summary: Gerek Crabsogar is a female Batarian and daughter to a high ranking member of the Hegemony. She was trained as a member of the Special Intervention Unit, but for reasons she keeps to herself, left Kar'shan and started fighting against her people. Shepherd first meets her when she sends out a signal alerting the Alliance to a Batarian slave raid in progress, and helps the Commander stop the slavers from raiding a colony. Afterwards, Shepherd has the opportunity to recruit her. Gerek is a very angry character, and tends to lash out verbally. She's often rude, and unapologetic about it. However, she doesn't make apologies for her peoples' reputation or actions, even if she does act superior. After getting to know Gerek, Shepherd learns the reason she left was because she fell in love with a slave. When they tried to escape together, the slave shot Gerek and left her for dead. After she finished recovering, Gerek left Kar'shan feeling hurt and betrayed. She started saving slaves because they all reminded her of the woman that had betrayed her - the woman she's still in love with. Gerek is romancible by a female Shepherd, and flirts with the other female party members. I am currently working on the dialogue for Gerek in ME2, but wanted to see if there was any interest to determine how much work I would need to do for this project. Thank you for your time.

  20. So it's an idea about a companion/quest mod called the lone patriot. His mission is to rid America of all evil mutants, Super mutants feral ghouls and other mutants (begining with the commonwealth) but he needs help from the soul survivor. He and his squad were some of the only vertiberds that managed to escape raven rock before it was destroyed. This is going to be a fallout 4 mod. The only problem is that i have no idea how to mod so if anyone is interested leave a comment!
  21. To whoever is reading this, I'm currently making my two first NPCs that are both X and Zero from the game Megaman X. I currently made one which is Zero, but I have to fix some minor bugs before I can release him as just a beta release. However, I need assistance with possibly having a voice actor to voice Zero, and X when he is finished. I also desire to have Zero's armor actually on the NPC to make him more like Zero, while another armor for Megaman X could be made for the Megaman X NPC. If anyone can help me, I would be very grateful for your assistance and help. Voices: Zero's voice: I need him to be serious and calm, with a slightly deep voice but not too deep. X's voice: He can be calm and a bit serious as well. He can also have a very slight deep voice, but at the most a normal male voice. For a test for Zero, you can say this: "Yea, what is it?.."; "Hell yeah! I'm all about melee!": ((He has to sound pumped up and excited for this one.)); or "Sounds like a plan. Let's go!": ((He also sounds pumped up and ready to go.)) For a test for X, you can say this for him: "Hey there, how's it going?"; or "Why must everyone keep fighting?..": ((He's supposed to sound pained and depressed for that line.))
  22. Hi. I wanted to ask how do you modify Companion Nerve in the GECK, and how do you add it to companion mods. I want to play a Legion build where I have the Vulpe Companion Mod so I can have him as a Companion, but I don't understand if the Companion Nerve affects him and other companion mods like Ulysses and the Baby Deathclaw Commander mod, and I started to want to understand how to modify Companion Nerve, but I've failed to find it. Increasing my Charisma as a Legionary is worthless if the Vulpes Companion in the mod isn't affected by it, and I get my butt kicked by multiple golden geckos all the time because they gang up on me and I'm on Very Hard, and now I realize I need backup as a Legionary, and this is why I've made this topic. Apparently someone found it but he or she didn't touch it apparently so I can't track it down.
