I think a great mod in Skyrim would be some of the ESO armor sets, such as the Defiler set and War Maiden set (both male and female version) from the Morrowind Chapter, The Mad tinkerer set from Clockwork city, and the Infector set as well. I think these would make some pretty cool additions to the mod community and Skyrim playthroughs. They could be craftable and also be able to be found in dungeons scattered across Skyrim. Just a cool idea I thought of when I started looking into ESO.
  2. As far as two of us can tell, the game only has two immunities, immune to paralysis, and immune to unrelenting force. Is there a mod that adds more immunities? And how would the script work? Thanks!

Hi everyone, Quite new to modding, I've just downloaded the Creation Kit beta (though I have played around in FO4Edit too) and wanted to make a little mod that would allow a player to craft Food Paste on the Chemistry Workbench. However, I cannot find any way in the settings of how to do this, no way to state what materials are necessary and which workbench it can be crafted on. I tried looking at other craftable items in the list such as Berry Mentats and Buffout but there is no indication or setting there which would suggest that it's craftable. I've seen many mods out there which include craftable items, so I guess there must a way of doing it - I just don't know how. Any help would be much appreciated, Thank you Michael
  5. If anyone has an idea and doesn't know how to make a mod put it here! If you're a modded grab this ideas and get on it but don't forget the names who gave you the idea! My current idea that makes me wish how to mod is craftable vehicles. find part throughout the wasteland and go to (maybe a new) crafting area and build it, or maybe even repair old ones!
  6. Well, I suggested something like this when I was playing Skyrim, but hey, figured it might be worth a try for Fallout. We see a lot of pots, pans, colanders, and other stuff in the Wasteland. A savvy wanderer could find that very useful in a pinch, or if they were somehow demented and crazy after his (or her) long nap. I'd envision this as more or less armor add-ons or pieces. Separate helm, arm/shoulder, chest, and leg pieces. Maybe a "Kiss the Cook" apron to go with it? Possibly a rolling pin or large spatula as a weapon (if you want that crazy Suzy homemaker feel). Or use pieces from the grills laying around the wastes for a "grillmaster" armor set? Just spitballing some stuff here.
  7. If you've ever played The Witcher 2 (and probably the first one too, but I've never played that) you'll be familiar with the wearable trophies that enemies drop. Anyway, I was wondering if something like those wearable, stat increasing trophies could be, or has been done in fallout nv, such as with deathclaw hands, mantis legs, scorpion poison glands and things of that nature. It seems fairly easy to do, as all of these things already have 3d models from the start. You would just have to find a way to make it craftable into an apparel item. Of course, i don't know the first thing about making mods, so maybe it isn't as easy as it seems. Much thanks to anyone who can direct me to a mod like this! :laugh:
  8. So as most people know the hearthfire dlc made it possible to build a shrine in the basement of your house. I really like this feature but I don't want the options they give you. Would there be anyone able to make a mod where I can craft something like the shrine of Molag Bal in the abandoned house in Markarth for my house in Falkreach? I wouldn't want the platform, however. Just the shrine. My other option would be something like the alter in Castle Volkihar. I found a mod that lets you get blessing from the molag bal shrine in markarth but I just would love to have one in my house. I don't know much about modding so I am unsure how difficult something like this would even be. Thanks to anyone who would consider making this!
  9. So I have seen some mods around the nexus that adds Sierra Madre vending machines around various parts of the wasteland. However, I propose a new idea where the player can build their own vending machines, and place them wherever they want them to be. I have already went and downloaded blender and went through the process of learning how to make 3D models, and exported them to NIF format. You can see them in the pictures below. I will provide these models to anyone who asks for them. The end result isn't bad at all for a first timer, if I do say so myself. Now what I would like help with is someone to make code that would allow the player to place down the first piece of the vending machine. Then add the second piece to the first. Then the third piece to the second. Then finally the power from 1 Micro Fusion cell and 2 Fission batteries to the third piece would "activate" the Machine. Which would remove what has been built by the player and in it's place create a working vending machine complete with the surrounding blue glow. The parts can be created via a crafting recipe at an already active/working Sierra Madre vending machine. Prior to the posses of powering up the device the player should be able to remove the pieces and add them back to their inventory. I was hoping to find a mod for craftable radio's or just new radio's like maybe the table that looks like a tape player to be a radio cause ive got like over 200+ mods loaded and it removed the radio section and getting its a pain in the *** to get it back i know there is a way of disabling all the mods and verify cache but it ended up not helping so i hope it will be possible to add a mod for people like me who lost the opion to craft radio's since i do love building homes and a home is not complete without a radio. thank you for any reply to this!
  11. Hey there, while building my new kitchen I was wandering: why can't you build filled milk bottles? I mean, I even know two mods which allow you to craft filled coffee mugs, but milk bottles?! Nope. I would like to have filled milk bottles in the crafting menu, simply working as decoration - nothing more. :) Wishing you all a wonderful weekend, Lucy
  12. So I've been trying to make a haste/hyper potion that will increase movement and attack speed for a short duration. So far it works as expected, but I noticed I can just keep using the potion, adding the magnitude of its effect over and over until my character is blazing across Skyrim like a bullet, lol I've ticked the 'No Recast' flag in the creation kit, which is explained on the website: "Once the magic effect is applied to a target, it cannot be cast again on the same target until it has worn off or been dispelled." However, I am still able to use the potion as many times as I want. Is this a creation kit bug or am I missing something?
  13. It would be awesome if there was a mod to craft and place static alters to the deities of skyrim. I'm using a camping mod for my home on my current character and it would be great to be able to place an alter in my camp. If there is a mod like this that already exists I haven't been able to find and would be grateful for a link to it.
  14. Hi All Yesterday I came up with an idea that I haven't seen other people come up with, so here goes. I came to think of the dwarves as being masters of carving out homes in rocks, and how it could be cool if the dovahkiin could somehow discover a lost guide on carving out said home. The way I think it could be done, is that you get a pickaxe, maybe even a special one that you have to craft yourself, from obscure materials. Then you get a marker that will place a "stone mine" on the ground, representing the spot where your entrance will be. Once you have worked for a long time, to empty that "mine", you will have an entrance into a a small house, the size of the basic hut in hearthstone. Maybe a re-skinned dark brotherhood door, could be the door into that house. Once inside, I picture there being a number of expansion "slots", all containing such a "stone mine", and when emptied, will give you pathways for more rooms etc. The style is of course like in Markath, so the beds will be made of stone. There should be a stone fireplace, stone shelves, stone chest etc. But common for all of it, is that you have to "mine" in order to remove excess stone, and then finally carve out the item or room in question. We probably also should include a lot of dwarven metal and perhaps wooden stability beams of some sort. The entrance should hardly be visible, unless you know exactly where it is (sounds very dwarven, does it not?). Discuss :D PB
  15. I would love to have a Prydwen as a craftable settlement piece, mostly for the Island nation I'm making on the Spectacle Island. Already have a Vault there thanks to the Vault mod, only thing I reall and hoping to have left is the airship or boats in general to act as a mock transport(static, just for show). Eitherway, if anyone knows how to work this, please let me know because that would be epic.

So for a while I've always wanted to get a hand on the Draugr armor Draugr Deathlords and other high leveled Draugr use but restored, using similar colors as the original, not so torn up chain mail along it, maybe some tail armor to go along with it for beast races to craft and lastly being much more defensive that the Hoary Nord armor sets from the Immersive armor/creature mod, maybe akin to ebony stats or maybe reinforced sets that are just upgrades to the base armor stat, requiring the previous tier armor with more and more bits added until it looks like a deathlord set but not so weathered and more resistant to undead but I've never really seen any mods that add a variation of the set in this way. If anyone were to make this armor I had the idea to name it around something with Crypts but it ain't my call to name it
  18. This is kind of a two-parter but here's brief background: I'm new to modding... like, I made a static structure show up in the workshop menu (next I'll try to make it ploppable :teehee: ). Part One: I want to create craftable structures (walls, roof, etc) from prefab (?) buildings in the game. Like, you can't click a part of the building- just *the* building in CK. If this is a seriously complex you-need-years-of-modding-knowledge to accomplish... should I just post this idea to see if anyone will make it? If you believe in my dreams please proceed to... Part Two: I can watch tutorials and read related forums to learn the step-by-step process. However, I don't know.. what I need to know...to do the thing. Do I need to know how to export the entire object into a program to edit it? What kind of program(s) do I need? What do I need and need to know to make it compatible with Snappy?
