  1. This is I hope a simple request, but something I'm not sure how to do myself. I don't care that much about a whole custom race with its own stats and powers and everything (would be a lot to ask) but just the ability to use custom meshes/textures like with the Custom Races mod. The mod resource pack includes hooves, but it's just feet - I don't know how you would make the legs look like this, but I assume it would require a mesh edit which I don't know how to do (I think this DreamBurrow example used the elk legs). Just someone making a mesh like this that I could use with Custom Races would be enough. And before anyone says I do know about the deerborn race but this has some problems with males since it uses the female resources for them. I would really like to be able to make a male character with this type of legs.
  2. Well as you can tell by the title,regular races such as nords and imperials and sht have invisible bodies and a floating head... This also only does it with the females. My character is ninghiem and when i take all her clothes off her body is still there,i change to nord and when her clothes are taken off they are invisible...So custom races aren't affected by this (or males) so I don't know what the problem is...This problem occurred when i Enabled CBBE and disabled UNPB with NMM Didn't like CBBE so i enabled UNPB again and disabled CBBE And i wanted to modify my body for UNPB so i used bodyslide and got a bodyslide preset (i heard that bodyslide doesnt take effect automatically with custom races and im too lazy to do it and just said fvck it) Went ingame and turn myself into a nord,took her clothes off,and she is a floating head.. I need answers >_> I also have a blue body problem with SOME presets but im more worried about this one.,..
  3. I Only Ever Use Khajiits And Custom Races because I like how animals look and i think humans just look boring but i never get new hairs for them! how could i modify a hair pack addon to add the hair to whatever race i decide? your help is very apricated :thumbsup:
  4. Does anyone know if the Temptress Race mod is compatible with the Familiar Faces mod? When I try to save my Temptress character in the Shrine of Heroes, it says it can't find the face gen data?? Thanks!

What I would like a mod like this or help to make a mod like this or a mod that could possible do this and might need to be changed or someone who can make a mod like this Basically the mod will either have to replace some existing NPC's races or add some new npc's with the custom races. The end result will be that the X amount of Custom Races you have added will be visible to you. IDK if it will just have force and expand the "Vanilla Races" to "Vanilla Races + X amount of Custom Races" so the game itself will pick it for the npc's. I know there are some race replacers out there but that's not what I want I would prefer a partial NPC race change, if this is also option or if anyone knows how to do it please tell me The other option is a NPC generator where you can select the races and it makes them for you, with it set to custom races it will make custom race NPC's but don't know how they will be placed in the game. I'm sure that will have to be done manually, unless there is another way of doing it. I'm also looking for any mod you can think of that could be used to do this with(out) some tweaks. Another possibility I thought was to mod that distributes items to npc to add a add a amulet/ring to npc's at random except important quest npc's. (Don't know if this could potentially break something in the quest or NPC itself). The NPC's with the amulet/ring will have their races changed. I haven't asked the author of automatic variants for info on this yet.
  6. Just a newbie question: it would be possible to create, as anticipated in the topic title, custom Races and or Monsters NPCs using models acquired from DAZ3D or Poser or Turbosquid marketplaces? I mean, after having bought for example one character model, it is possible to rig it with appropriate skeleton, texturize, animate, to make the necessary file formats conversions and use it as a Skyrim mod? It would be technically possible? Feasible in monetary terms? and in legal terms? Anyone who likes to discuss about it or who knows more than me and like to explain is well accepted.

  8. So there's like a million mods out there that make humanoid races with animal ears and tails, but I could never find one with wolf parts, so I'm trying to make my own. I followed the guide for using Race Compatibility for Skyrim and Dawnguard to make sure the race would be compatible with other mods and I set up all of the stats, abilities, and data for the race I'm working on, but any time I try to add the ears and tail they turn out glitchy in game. Well, they look the same in game as they do in the Creation Kit for the most part. I've found tutorials for adding a Khajiit tail to custom races and they helped me figure out most of what I need to do, but I can't get things to look right. I even tried different sets of ears and tails. Everything always looks right when I import the model in CK, but then when I apply it to the character it looks different. I've had textures get misaligned, models become a couple of thin flat squares, and some other more complicated issues. The one time I got a tail to show up that didn't appear as a a pure white spiral the tail didn't have a texture despite me assigning one to it, was not positioned the same as in the CK (actually a good thing because in CK it was vertical and by the feet), and it wasn't attached to the body so it didn't animate and wouldn't move when I crouched. If anyone has a tutorial they can send me or some advice I would really appreciate it. I've been at this for hours and I can't find anything or figure it out.

I'm very interested in Beast Races, such as Half Dragon, Kitsunes, Krakens, Lamias, Faekind etc etc. There's a list of races I'd love to obtain so I can create a list of characters and possibly even alter some of the "normal" races into these custom races. Note, just because the title says Monster Girl, except for the Lamia, who by lore is exclusively female, I'd really like male meshes and textures too so i can make all my characters. If I may, I'm looking for: -Lamia Race, with a human, not beast, torso. I *did* find the Tseaci race mod, however the tail clipped through the floor in the most abysmal manner, the tail had no animation at all, and the torso moved like a vanilla walking torso (which Lamia's totally do not do, I'm looking for a little immersion). Again, this one can be female only if necessary since I'd never use the male mesh and texture. -A Harpy Race. I would have thought Harpies being mythical fantastical beasts that they'd have more representation, but I haven't been able to find a PC custom race for them. -Wyverns. On the same body structure as a Harpy, I'd love a variant of the Half Dragon Mod that had animated wings on the arms of the beast, creating a Wyvern beast girl (note this can be a female only texture and mesh if needed). -Kitsune Race with up to nine tails. I can only find three examples, and one caps at 5 tails. One is too beast like (I'm looking for a japanese kitsune not a furry one) and all three are incompatible with SSE. I would love a more lore friendly Kitsune, perhaps with abilities such as tossing spiritual fireballs or magic resistance to account to the fact they are spirit foxes, but right now the looks are more important than functionality, and it's the tails and fur colour that are important - 1 to 9 tails with Black, Silver, Red and Golden fur options. -Wolf Race. I found the race mode MaTera think it was called. The fur colours were beautiful, the body design perfect, but it was never converted to SSE and trying to run it in SSE causes Skyrim to crash whenever a save including one of these is loaded. Big ears, and a tail are mandatory, clawed hands and furry legs/arms are optional but highly appreciated. Now the next few races are extremely obscure and I don't expect there to be any existing assets of any kind. -Slime Race. Your typical Beast-Slime, preferably with female and male meshes. I'd love an ability where the Slime shapeshifts into a "normal" person, so maybe the solution here is instead of a custom race it's a mutagen or add on, like the wings or the "become a fairy" mod. Preferably a teal colour, but something functional would be lovely at first. -Kraken - Yes. You read that right. A male or female torso placed on top of an octopus' bottom half, with up to 16 tentacles, and possibly varying colours of flesh. This is so obscure I'm certain it doesn't exist, and with all the tentacles I'm not sure anyone will ever animate this, but while I'm making the list I may as well include it. Thanks for reading this far and I'd be grateful for any suggestions. I found a Half Dragon race, I just wish I could change the colour of the scales and tail, but ultimately it's doing the job for now. Note, I am not looking for furry or snouted characters, I'm looking for creatures much like you'd find in the Monstergirl Encyclopedia. PS - Just an unrelated question, where would I look if i wanted to say, give Half Dragons burly scaled legs, feet, arms and hands? Or give wolves a similar thing but covered in fur?
  10. Hello! I've been using Skyrim SE mods for a while and it's pretty fun, but someone has given me a new and very tricky idea. To create a large number of custom races based on a universe from a novel I've been writing. I wondered where the best place to start would be? The first races I'd probably look at are the Dragons and Kitsunes. I found a Half Dragon mod that does the dragons pretty decently, but i can't change the colour of the scales and I'd like to set them shouts or breath attacks from the character creation screen if possible (eg pick fire element for the dragon and they spawn with red scales and the flame breath shout unlocked) The kitsunes are... awkward. Most I have ever found is a single tail mod and I'd like to be able to have them pick between 1 to 9 tails and preferably multiple fur colours too (black, grey, red and gold are the main lot). Also I'd like them to have a unique attack involving their tails and throwing Kitsune Fire but again, not sure where to start. So i guess at the end of this ramble, where can I start please? Where do you suggest I look?
  11. I'm currently not at my gaming computer, so I sadly cant test any more, but I tried to get some custom races going last night and I couldn't get a single one to run. I tried the Temptress race, the Ashen race even the Lunari, pretty much every top endorsed custom race and not a single one worked. Neither did AppachiiSkyHair. Strangely enough, the presets of the Temptress race did show up. The Better Females by Bella and UNP body seem to work just dandy. I'm running Skyrim 1.8 with Dawnguard and Dragonborn (or at least, I should... Havent made it past the starting bit yet since I kept mucking around with these mods). I'm also using the NMM, and yes, I did activate the mods. Help me~

  13. You've probably heard this a couple dosen times, but bear with me here, I'm still a little fresh with Creation Engine modding. I want to know if it's at all possible to give a custom race, custom meshes for armour. If it is possible, I'd like to know how to do it. I ask this because - as far as I can tell - the Custom Races mod creates a new race which you can then copy-paste a custom body mesh for it and only it to use. Every other 'stock' race uses the same, general body mesh. Now, say if I had CBBE installed with modded, bodyslide compatible armor - lets say KillerKreos' set. While I can use the meshes created by Bodyslide to alter the custom race body meshes, can I somehow get it to do the same with armor meshes also created by CBBE Bodyslide. Essentially, I'm trying to get my character to stand out a little, even while wearing armor. Cheers in advance for any help/answers. Apologies if this is wrong section.
  14. Hello community, I'm currently working on a personal modification to turn nuska's Ohmes Thief Nonara into a playable character. All of the aesthetics are done(meshes, textures, etc.) and have been applied to d_rail1602's Custom Races mod for Redguard. Now the problem is that I want characters in game to recognize me as Khajit(since Nonara is of Ohmes race). However skyrim crashes when i use redguard meshes and textures for khajit. How can I change the perceived race of a character using CK?(i.e. Body, appearance, etc of a Redguard, but prison guard in the beginning calls me Khajit) Any help would be great, thanks.
  15. I am having a problem with 3rd person animations with some custom races that I have, and the only ones I have; the Succubus race and the "Predator Lost Tribes" race, or the Yautja race. When I want to go left, right, forward, or forward left to right I go into a T pose, or something. But when I go backward, backward left to right it does the correct animation, what is wrong? It doesn't do anything like that to any of the original races. (I have PCEA and XP32's Maximum Skeleton installed, if that information helps) *Edit Found out what was wrong and I fixed it. There was an extra Male and Female file so I just filled it up with the rest of the HKX files from my PCEA.

  17. I'm trying to make a Custom Race, but when I play Skyrim, the character is naked. I read here that talked about setting an armor race. I did that and the armor was equipped, but now the body is completely invisible when the gear is off. And then it said something about "Setting the Armor Body to let Bretons use". I don't understand what it means because I still have this problem.
  18. Hi. I'm running into an issue with the Enhanced Character Edit mod that I believe is caused by either having an option or patch for the custom races mod or the race compatibility mod unchecked. Has anyone else ever run into faces that look similar to these when trying to edit/create a character? http://www.myimg.us/images/01.24.15/46840.jpg I think it has something to do with either racecompatibilityuskpoverride.esp or the uskp patcher for race compatibility.esp. The other two esps that might be involved are customraces.esp and racecombatibility.esp. I say this because I noticed this bug and saw that either racecompatibilityuskpoverride.esp or the uskp patcher for race compatibility.esp was unticked and made sure to activate them, then the problem was resolved. Now though, all four esp's are activated and I'm still getting this odd mesh. Has anyone else had this problem?
