  1. The only thing I wish I could do in the game is change the overworld character from the MC. I would love to walk around the world as my fav character instead of Nowa. I completely understand to have him be in the cutscenes and wouldn't want that to change anyway, but I would love to walk around the towns or map as my fav character. I wonder if it would be possible to mod it in as all characters are only sprites. But I don't know if all sprites have walking animations for all the different angles. Even if they didn't and it looks a bit odd when they move I would still download it. Would love to hear peoples thoughts!
  2. I have a problem where the cutscene for the first official entry to Raven Rock does not play out properly. I can hear the captain talking, but the ship does not sail into the harbor, instead I'm just floating over the ocean. His speech ends and I wind up stuck. I enable player controls with the console and find only two fish barrels are floating in the air next to me. I find Adril waiting on the docks to speak to the captain who is obviously never going to show up. Ship, crew and captain are utterly missing. I can approach Adril but his force greet script isn't functioning, so he just stays put. After I talk to him, he will stay on the docks infinitely. I'm not Dragonborn yet, so I'm just over in Soltheim for other explorations. I doubt it would make much of a difference; the cutscene is utterly busted. If I travel to Raven Rock through a cheat-y house mod, then the ship and captain are present, but Adril is still stuck. I disabled all my mods, tried multiple fresh play-throughs and cannot find a hint of what is causing this problem. From one of the Skyrim wikis I found a post from 2013 which seems to be in the same trouble. The solutions offered were to use console commands to skip the entry, but that's not what I want. I even extracted all the Dragonborn scripts from the Dragonborn BSA file and manually put them into the proper folders. No dice. Any help or ideas would be very welcome. Edit: Thought I should add that I can still complete all the "for the good of Raven Rock" quests just fine. Like reopening the mine, clearing out Fort Frostmoth, taking down the assassins...
  3. Can anybody remove the final scene after the credits in episode 3, that shows the Dark Room? Just remove it. Or replace it with some dank memes, or something.
  4. I've tried looking around for tutorials, but I haven't been able to find anything that fits what I'm looking at doing. I'm working on an custom companion mod and I want to fully create them to be just as good if not better than the vanilla companions. What I'm wondering right now is how to create a cut scene for the introduction of the character? An example being when you first approach the gate to Diamond City Piper is having a conversation with Danny through the intercom, and there is a cut scene showing her then the intercom, which then concludes with a wide shot of Piper and the player standing by the intercom as the gate to the city raises. How do you do that stuff? Here is the scene I'm talking about.
  5. I've noticed something a little annoying after starting quite a few different Inquisitors and playing through "In Your Heart Shall Burn." The first time I played through (with very few mods, mind you), the cutscene where Mother Giselle initiates the group singing "The Dawn Will Come" went smooth as silk; everyone was lip-synced perfectly and everything was timed as it should be. Now, on subsequent playthroughs (admittedly with a bunch more mods added), everyone's lip-syncing during the song lags about a word behind the audio. I even noticed a difference in Cullen's animation - he initially lifted his head up when singing the first time, and now he keeps his head down. :huh: Furthermore, the lag ends when the song is finished; Solas's dialogue ("A word?") is right back in sync again. Does anyone else have this issue, and do you have any ideas of how to fix it? Is it just the additional mods taxing the game too much, or is it something else?
  6. Hey guys, I was just wondering if it would be possible to have mod that changes helmets etc. to be like Cole's hat - visible in cutscenes? I mean come one.. If I remember the PAX gameplay correctly (like a year before release) there was Inquisitor with his helmet during cutscenes. So I ran through nexus but didn't find anything. It is also entirely possible that I am just blind so if something like this exists, point me to it. Any reply appreciated. Thanks :D
  7. Hello, I recently have started to use the geck and am making a quest mod right now. Unfotunatly I'm in a predicament. I want to have a cutscene where you confront the villain, but I cant find a tutorial anywhere on how to make one. The cutscene will start with you walking into a room and the door shuts behind you. your friend (Who you meet earlier) is stuck behind there and you are alone in the room, you have a quick chat. And eventually the room fills with gas. After that I would like to figure out how to make the player "Pass out" Like in vault 87 In Fallout 3. So what I'm trying to figure out is how to make a cutscene, automatically closing doors, how to make the room fill with a gas effect. and how to make the player pass out. Thanks to anyone who helps out. Please If you have any info on this please post it on here! Thanks.

I really enjoy if the lighting doesn't change during conversations/cutscenes. In Toussaint Geralt lights up like a lightbulb in the middle of the night, especially if I use Atmospheric Nights. It's rather intrusive and ruins the game/atmosphere. I hope someone knows how to do this. Thanks
  9. Hello Nexus members! I have noticed a bug which apparently occurs to other players as well and that is Ciri's sword not coming out of it's sheathe/scabbard in cutscenes, leaving Ciri with one sword in hand and one on her back. I have scourged the internet for a fix but have had no luck. It seems to have started after the Blood and Wine update and I lack the knowledge and ability to fix this. Are there any members/modders with the know-how to fix this? Or any knowledge of a fix? Thanks guys! :) Ps. I havent got screenshots but there are videos and info online.
  10. I've got a problem with the cutscene. It's concerning the spotlight. I want the scene to be dark. So I've choosen the kind of night mode into the Toolset, not the sun icon. To get a little bit of illumination I placed a spotlight. So far so good. But my spotlight is to bright. I took a smaller value in the object inspector for my spotlight and exported the cutscene. But in game I always see the brighter version. I've already been looking for double versions into the game inventory. The version into the game files is showing the current date and time. What shall I do?

  12. I don't know how to fix this! Unknown quest involving werewolves. Got Mysterious Letter - The Void from the courier. Reading forces quest to start. When I wake up, my entire hud, menu, etc. is all gone! It is a mod. Also my clothes go transparent at some point. Don't know why. And sorry if you can't hear me, my mic is kinda crap.
  13. Cole's writter Patrick Weekes mentioned that in his scenario Cole would turn against the Inquisitor and die if his quest wasn't resolved. This would be a cutscene, but he claimed it wasn't made because of the financial limits. I'd like to see a cutscene of Cole turning against the player in the beginning of Doom upon the whole world. I imagine this as Cole's eyes turn red lights and he takes a knife and the Inquisitor uses the Anchor to eliminate poor Cole. This scene would be dramatic and motivate players to complete his personal quest. Weekes said if Cole was in the party, then the boss fight with Cory would be unbalanced. So with Cole's quest unresolved Cole's tarrot card would be locked and then we can see this dramatic cutscene. I ask a talented mod maker to animate this scene, to restore Weekes' brilliant but unrealised idea.

Most cutscenes within XCOM 2 are skippable by pressing ''Esc'', save a few "story/forced'' ones. *SPOILERS FOLLOW* The last cutscene (after selecting the soldiers to embark upon the final assault on the fortress) is an example of the latter, it begins with preparations to ''awaken'' the avatar, all the while Central explains how the world is now aware of ADVENT being not as nice as they knew it to be. This, however, is where it goes south, for me at least. Once the cutscene is complete, it shows my selected group (as if they were on the selection screen) standing there (as if waiting for me to press the "launch mission" button) while I just watch as no keyboard-button I press, be it "Esc", "Space", "Enter" or even "Backspace" will influence the paralysis of the game. That being said, the debug console does appear to be functional after Central has finished his speech, while the soldiers are performing their idle animations, at which point typing works, but only within the console itself. TL;DR: I need to skip a cutscene or find a way to bypass it, because it causes a game-breaking bug for me. Any and all assistance is appreciated. With Gratitude, TruGent. PS. I am using the "Leader Pack" and Max Squad Size Fix mod (8 soldiers total), If that has any influence. [Nothing Else Has Been Affected until this point]. EDIT #2: I have tried to remove the movie (.bk) files and try again, it seems to continue the audio regardless and goes directly to the screen that shows the soldiers in their idle animations (as above). Waited 30 mins in the hopes that it would do anything... alas it was for naught. Edit #3: Can the Admin(s) please change the topic title to "Bug Fix Needed" for me?, I am new to this forum thing.
  15. Like the topic says, can anyone make a mod that keeps the helmet of the player and all party members ON during conversations and cutscenes? I looked at the options, and it's not possible to change it there.
  16. So i'm currently building a new follower mod, i have now come to the part where i want to add the romancable options and cutscenes. My new follower is a Female Elf, so naturally i assumed i could duplicate the cutscenes of Alistair - ElfPC for Human Male PC's, Zevran - ElfPC for Elf Fem and Male PC's etc. Obviously swapping out the actors for the tags etc. However my problem is that the cutscene plays fine, the actor's move correctly, music plays etc, but the background of the scene is not functioning well at all. If in camp its a plain dark blue like background, if its outside of camp its a much lighter but equally ugly background, almost like it's trying to load something in but giving up 2% of the way in. If it helps, i've messed around with stages, using custom stages etc, but currently i have it on "acl_1p" as that's what other cutscenes use regardless of the character involved. I've also tried changing the area and toggling between true and false. I've reverted back to blank as i want the "kiss" cutscene to be able to play anywhere like with other followers. To activate the cutscene, I've linked the script with the CSLoadCutscene function into the dialogue of the character. Any help will be greatly appreciated thank you xD Edit: Ironically, using the same method for the sex cutscene, the area is there and so are the actors.. only they don't perform their animations... Edit 2: It appears that my actors are being teleported way beyond the map when the cutscene plays, for example when kissing in lothering i can make out the bridge way off in the background...

  18. Hey all, I really hope someone who is actually talented (unlike me) can actually make this mod lol. It drives me crazy that when you land at a city after the first time it doesn't show the cutscene anymore, EVEN WHEN YOU LAND A THE LANDING PAD! It just teleports you outside your ship. This is annoying because it breaks immersion super quickly and also if I have some items in my ship I'd like to take out to sell, I have to turn around and go back into the ship to get them, as opposed to just getting out of the chair and grabbing it on my way out. If anyone is able to make this, I'd be extremely grateful! Thank you!
  19. Hi I know other people have been have this same issue and I can't find an in game solution. It's getting a bit annoying because it limits my party switching but also because now all the camp cutscenes i have to watch them twice for each PC. If any modder is willing to try and make it possible to at most remove the character at least remove them from the party that would be fantastic. Cheers.
  20. It may be petty, but I get so impatient watching the Merlin Trial animations over and over and over. If there was a "Hold X to skip" prompt, I'd love that.

  22. increasingly frustrated at meeting criteria for cutscenes - and having a vanilla savegame - and the cutscenes not queueing or being triggered with different characters. i'm trying to presently romance astarion, and due to previous problems i've just used an approval increasing mod to try and trigger his act 2 confession cutscene to no avail regardless of where i am in act 2/ i'd just like a mod or maybe a way via cheatengine etc to trigger the cutscene if it is at all possible
  23. Almost done with a transformation mod and the one thing I can't figure out is how to get it to drop the shapeshift during scenes. Just stands awkwardly doing a T-pose. When starting conversations he will drop the form though like he should. Does anyone know how to remove this form during cinematics?
  24. I love animating and the possibilities for all we can do with the game and current cutscenes(and yes, nsfw scenes), but I've got no idea where to look for these files. If anyone understands or knows where to get these or creates a mod that allows us to, that'd be amazing.
  25. I just started a new game as a Human Noble, and the game simply closes when I step into Fergus' room, instead of initiating the dialogue. There's no error message, it just closes. I have a TON of mods and only basic understanding of how modding works, so I'm hoping someone might know exactly which files I need to search for. I suspect I messed up a .utc file somewhere, because I have Improved Atmosphere and since installing it, I've replaced some of its files with "fix" and "compatibility" files from other mods, the latest one being RL's Mabari Madness. Of biggest note, I also have Morrigan's Restoration Patch, Dialogue Tweaks, Flash Creatures Rescales, IRS Alistair, Skip The Fade, Skip the Deep Roads and Manual of Focus (which messed up Awakening and took me forever to pin down). So, what should I gun for?
