Howdy, as the titled suggests I need help altering DT based on hit location, I am using JIP's Localized DT setting and I am developing a mod that applies an Object Effect if the DT is below a certain value, JIPs setting is working as intended but even if I hit the unprotected body part it is not applying the effect I have created as it still reads as if the DT is applied to the whole body.. the only solution I can think of is altering the DT based on where they are hit while wearing specific gear to stop the effect.. I have tried making an effect for armor that increases the DT to the intended value when hit in the body part the armor is worn but it seems the game first checks for the DT then applies damage, ignoring my effect. I am stumped, any help will be greatly appreciated. If there is any information that can help you solve my issue please ask me anything.

I'm not talking about fMaxArmorRating, or the DT bleed-through fMinDamageMultipler.

Hello! I need someones opinion on something. So if you're a gun nut or just know a lot about them i'd appreciate your help. So on a scale of 1 top 10 (7.5 being around power armor level) I would like to know whereabouts you would place the ammo on that scale based on its penetration. For example - 9x19mm parabellum - 1.5 22LR - 0.5 I know that's probably way off but it's just to demonstrate. For reference 1 to 5 is around Kevlar levels, then 5.5 to 7 is steel and ceramic with 7.5 upwards being power armor. Any help is appreciated and sorry if I explained this horribly I woke up not long ago XD.

What is the point at which armor DT is broken? I understand how DT and DR works when it's up - but I'm curious whether armor piercing rounds strip or just bypass DT? Also, does the damage that gets past DT reduce the DT? I'm working on an armor breaker weapon - something that cracks the shell, but isn't designed for sustained combat. For instance, A foe has 15DT, no DR and 200 health. We both see each other, and there are no special damage or defense modifiers. My weapon does 10Dam and is loaded with AP rounds, providing -10DT. I land a hit with the first shot: 15DT - 10DT(AP) = 5DT 10Dam - 5DT = 5Dam I do 5Dam to the foe. On my next hit, what DT does the foe have? Is it still 15DT and 5dam simply bypassed the armor? Is it 5DT and 10 stripped was away by the AP round? Is it 0DT and 10 was stripped away by the AP round and the reset broken by the damage? I hope the question is clear enough!

I would like to know how to modify the DT of creatures in momod & its addons. I was playing around with it in FNVEdit and already rebalanced (mostly nerfed :tongue:) a lot of stuff, but I can't find the DT for the creatures, only for certain robots/droids/whatever - but those are actually armor pieces that they 'wear'. Is there a way to edit it through FNVEdit and I am just blind and didn't see it somewhere there, or do I need to use G.E.C.K. or something else for it? Another thing I would like to know is how to change the LLs, basically modifying them so all stuff can spawn on all levels - I once downloaded a mod like that for F3 and I had lots of fun with it and I would like to make one for FNV. I tried googling this stuff and even browsed through the forums for a bit, but couldn't find anything related, plz halp.

So I've been trying to get rid of Veronica's hood but she wont take it off. I've even tried to use the removeallitems command and she wont lose the hood. I know I can give her a hat but the one I want to give her has no DT or DR. Is there a way I can change the DT or DR of her hood so that its at 0? Edit: Nevermind I found her clothes in the geck after some deep digging.

Hi there! For the healing bug for power armor DT still consists (power armor pieces getting healed if damage < Damage threshold), would it be an option to apply the damage threshold not to the power armor piece itself, but to something like a lining or sort of an "invisible armor piece", worn under the power armor part, that gets destroyed when the protecting power armor part reaches 0 HP (or like 10 %) ? I swear I tried to figure it out myself first, but I think neither my brain nor my PC are capable of Fallout 4 modding...
