So I have Nexus mod manager, know how it works, used it previously, but after a couple of weeks I wanted to re-download Skyrim and try out mods again. But my mods don't appear in game, there are 87 active atm and are too long to list. But they appear in data folder and don't work in game, for example: Apachii Sky Hair, It just gives me a bald head True brows, they only give the first eyebrow but lot's of them and have no difference. And also when I relaunch NMM it turns off some of my mods for some reason. My SKSE Version is 1.7.3

Something I did in the CK is causing my game and my internet to lag. So far I haven't been able to find any answers for the problem elsewhere online, or even find anyone who has experienced the same problem. I'm hoping you guys can help me out. Keep in mind, I am still relatively new to modding and VERY new to creating mods, so I may end up asking for clarification on certain terms or instructions. Basically: Just got the newest version of CK yesterday. Attempted to make a standalone follower based on an in-game character using Darkfox127's YouTube tutorial. Succeeded in creating the file, but it would not appear in the Data Files for me to activate when I started up the game launcher. Thought maybe I'd saved it to the wrong place, so I tried moving the file to a spot in my Data folder (by dragging and dropping, which in hindsight may not have been the smartest move). File still wouldn't show up, so I tabled the project for the night and opened up Skyrim to play around for a bit. Skyrim worked fine. This morning, I attempt to start up Skyrim again and encounter extreme delays at every single loading screen. There's horrible in-game lag, it CTDs after a while, and there's an awful buzzing coming from my speakers that only exists while the game is up. In addition, my internet speed has gone down; any page I try to load online or action I attempt to do in the Nexus Mod Manager takes longer than it should. I had a situation like this once before, when I installed Dual Sheath Redux incorrectly; in that case I was able to uninstall and then re-install it the proper way, and everything on my PC went back to normal. This time, I haven't downloaded anyone else's mod and I don't know how to fix the issue. Can anyone help with this? I don't know where else to find an answer.

Hi everyone, I am a new modder that wants to get involved in the modding scene for KC:D. I am currently browsing the data folder for the game and I need help understanding what the different PAK files hold within them. Basically, I want a TL;DR of the data folder so I can quickly browse the folder. I know what you're thinking "You're so lazy, just read through the folders!". I have done a little digging but it is still confusing to a newcomer like me. I have no modding experience, except installing mods, so any help (links to guides and tips) would be appreciated!

Brand new to mods and the Nexus site, so hello. I tried searching for this, so apologies if it's a noob question or something. I'm downloading a few mods manually (I prefer this way) and I was wondering if I can put them into folders to keep my data folder neat and tidy while still having them run appropriately? Like so: Skyrim Special Edition > Data > { []Mods []video file file ... } Skryim Special Edition > Data > Mods > { []Mod A []Mod B ... }

FIXED.... Im an idiot I get confusing with my words. I think I may have caused it. Anyways I was thinking of making a new armor but when I went to look for the needed files ect I found that a bunch of stuff is missing I have played with mods and stuff since Fallout: NV came out. The thing is, is that I'm so lazy that instead of trying to delete the mods files when I want one gone, I instead go into steam and delete my local content then delete the data file and the other stuff. ( This is why I think it is happening. ) If you are looking at the picture ignore the texture folder. That only showed up because I installed a mod to replace the roulette wheel with a hamster in a wheel.
