  1. So, for the quest Painting the Town, you can actually choose NOT to use green paint, and instead paint the wall Yellow or Blue. But even though Cans of Blood are a thing, as are Red ones (thanks to Far Harbour I believe), you cannot use them. So I was wondering if it would be possible for a mod to allow the use of those cans, and paint the wall Red, or if you are an edgy raider, Blood.

All Diamond City Security Officers are not wearing any armor. some also dont have any weapons and shoot invisible guns. this sometimes happens with raiders as well, but it happens every time with the diamond city crew. i was hoping that someone else had this problem and knew if there was a mod that fixed it, or caused it, so i could install/uninstall said mod. or if there was something in the inis i could edit to fix the problem. loot is not detecting any problems, and all the plugins work that ive added. ideas?
  3. In the game,"Return to Krondor", it has display diamonds. You might need to change game engine, but some modder might be able to pull it off. You have look it up or play the game. I can't recall specifics, but this is the idea. It makes sense when it comes to gold and gems weight. Flawless Diamond=10k Flawed Diamond=1k Flawless Ruby=5k Flawed Ruby=0.5k You can extend it from there. The gold exchange stays the same. The display shows how much gold in relation to gems and gold. 10541 gold displays as Flawless Diamond+Flawed Ruby+41 gold The game also has a more fun and challenging trap system. I loved it! :smile:
  4. I wanted to make a mod of Killer Queen's first bomb from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, which consists of turning anything you touch into a bomb. I thought we could make this into a spell or something; basically, left click would touch stuff, and right click blows it up. If we could make the character do the Killer Queen pose when you're idle, that'd be a bonus.   5. I started the groundwork for adding a female guard to Diamond City SWAT. I'm guessing I will have to copy a guard as new record so the navmesh for patrolling ("running the bases") will be there. And use Face Ripper to swap in a female head in addition to changing other properties to female. I read that previous Fallouts have records searchable by voice actor, so I'm hoping that will be the case with the CK. I found three actresses who mainly voiced soldiers, synths, and raiders... and I want to browse their dialogues to copy useful, generic lines. The other option would be custom voice work, but I'm all about using vanilla assets when possible. Mainly to see if it can be done.
  6. All I want is a simple DC guard armor mod that allows it to be modded. Mostly so it can be added to the workbench so I can use the Legendary Modifications addons for it to use it for one of my armor sets. It's nice to have a masked helmet, ya' know? Anyways, I hope somebody can just do this simple task (I asume it is) for me. Thanks.

Hi guys :smile: This is my very first mod for any game, so bear with me while I learn how to make new content and maybe I can help others learn too :smile: This is my Work-In-Progress of a little mod I dreamed up called the Gem-Knight Weapons Mod. Those of you who play Yu-Gi-Oh will probably recognize the name from the Gem-Knight archetype, which is also my favorite deck to run. For those of you who don't, its a bunch of knights that are associated with different minerals (e.g.: diamond, emerald, amethyst, etc...). This mod will feature: Weapons: Greatsword of Master Diamond (Soul Trap effect) Staff of Sardonyx (Fire Bolt effect) Staff of Iolite (Ice Spike effect) Staff of Amber (Lightning Bolt effect) Sword of Citrine (Fire Damage effect) Sword of Prismaura (Shock Damage effect) Sword of Amethyst (Frost Damage effect) Battleaxe of Ruby (Absorb Health) Battleaxe of Aquamarine (Absorb Magicka) Battleaxe of Topaz (Absorb Stamina) Warhammer of Zirconia (No Effect - may be left up to the player to enchant) As I am still very new to this, the mod won't be appearing in the close future, however, I will be updating the page as the mod progresses (as I'm starting a job soon, progress will be slow). If I do end up completing this project, I have ideas for armor and maybe a quest line to go along with it. Also, I am writing a tutorial as I go to help others learn as I have. So, lets see where this goes :D ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Staff of Sardonyx Updates: PAUSED 01: Work has now properly begun on this mod. My first weapon being made right now is the Staff of Sardonyx. As mentioned above, the Staff of Sardonyx will use the Fire Bolt enchantment. The design on the card is a mace, however as I like to do things in threes, I have made it into a staff. 02: I have restarted the texturing so many times I'm getting sick to death of seeing it. Hopefully now it looks a little bit more like a sardonyx texture and less like a page out of a 5 year old's colouring book. The mesh was also tweaked as a conical pole was harder to texture than a straight one. 03: The staff has driven me insane. The UV Maps no longer adhere to their own rules and are displaying whatever they like, not what's covering the netting the software mapped out. Until this is fixed, progress cannot continue. However, in light of this, progress has been made on the armor side of this mod (which wasn't my main focus) and I have now begun creating armor for two other Gem-Knights, specifically helmets. Body work will come later after I've figured out how to actually make the stuff. Progress: Mesh: Complete Textures: Partially Complete Coding: Incomplete ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Helmet of Sapphire: 01: As stated earlier in my Staff of Sardonyx update, the mesh has been made for this knight. Is has a rather simple but strange design, but when textured should come out fairly pretty. Mesh: Complete Textures: Incomplete Coding: Incomplete ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Helmet of Obsidian: A running theme with the design of the Gem-Knights seems to be simplistic shapes that aren't commonly used in real life. This helmet was pretty much made by accident while trying to figure out a design for another Gem-Knight. Nevertheless, its shape is difficult to imagine on its own and needs to be made to look right if such a time occured. Mesh: Partially Complete Textures: Incomplete Coding: Incomplete DISCLAIMER: Yu-Gi-Oh and Skyrim are obviously not mine. Yu-Gi-Oh belongs to Konami and Skyrim to Bethesda. This is purely a fan-based non-profit mod.
  8. Hi there Oblivion modding community! So I've had this idea in my head for a while and am not sure how to implement it in game and what kind of work/scripting it may or may not require, but I have an idea about being able to purchase items from a unique vendor with currencies different than gold. My original idea was to buy certain/unique items for welkynd stones since after exploring so much I have a ton in my inventory or even other things like gems and nuggets. The idea would be to create specific items/weapons/armor/jewelry/spells/etc. for this vendor and then being able to buy them with stones/gems. Any feedback or insights would be greatly appreciated, or if there is a mod I have somehow missed that does this already then great!
  9. I used open face helms for the Skyrim guards. First off, I don't know why Bethesda makes the guards faceless in their games. They are people too. In my opinion its kinda immersion braking to see the guards in full head covering masks. I wouldn't take that job if I had to have stuff allover my head like that. All I'm askin for is a mod that removes the guard helms. I'd say that should be easy, but I don't know. I don't make mods. Good luck and thanks if this gets made. If it does, someone please shoot me a message. :P I'd like to use it.
  10. I removed the Diamond City Security guard helmets and discovered they repeat the same 2-3 faces. When I look at the loading cell for Diamond City (00002CEF), there are 11 guards plus Danny Sullivan (the gatekeeper guard). Ideally, I would like to ditch the repeats by having 12 unique faces in my mod (Diamond City SWAT). Danny and the two bat-only guards aside (school guard and market guard), looks like I will need to copy the base guard file as 9 new FO4Edit records (and override/redirect the placement references to my files instead of the vanilla guard files). Then, I can change the "PNAM - Head Parts" for each one, but I don't know what each part in the list actually *looks* like. This is where Face Ripper comes in handy? I'm guessing I will need to start 9 new games and rip the faces to 9 FO4Edit plugins just to get the PNAM info for each visualized part? Or is there a better way, like a standalone face creator program that lists each PNAM part in a text box next to the face one is making?
  11. The mission "In Sleep Clothing", the description to start this mission is "This quest starts when the Sole Survivor reaches level 35 and travels to Diamond City." I am pass level 35 but nothing happens. Any hints to get this mission started?

  13. Hi again! I've started a new game with this set of mods and everything looks normal and I arrived in DC, meet Piper, the major and bla bla bla... I encounter this problem all the time I visit the town for the 2nd time and I thought was due to the piper interview but it's not it... I guess something is wrong with the scene of the brother murdering, I've tried to remove the mods I thought were responsible but no changes. Did you get a similar situation? Thanks again ^.^ I leave down there my mods installed in the correct load order:
