Unfortunately I haven't been able to find an answer to this question. What's happening is I'm writing a dialogue, and during the NPC's greeting they will randomly fall to the ground like an essential NPC would if they lost all health. However, they are not being harmed and their health is still full. What is going on??

Okay... so somehow I killed Alduin on The Throat of The World... And it's on an infinite loop with Parthunax saying "Use Dragonrend on him".... I have no mod like that.... And I don't have a save before fighitng him..... I have no clue how to fix this. I tried restarting, I tried going to the desktop, I tried console commands, reviving him, resurrecting him, I tried uninstalling all mods. Nothing works. Everytime I fight him he dies. I just want to know if there's a script I can type to fix this... Cause I really don't want to restart......... Do I need to restart? Please tell me I don't have to.... Please help me....

I'm not just posting a problem; I'm also posting its solution. There is a rare and seemingly random bug in Vanilla Skyrim where the player, rather than experiencing a normal death, gets back up. Everything seems normal until 10-30 minutes later (timing varies), they experience a scripted death. If you're the type who doesn't save vigilantly (don't laugh, we've all been guilty of it at some point), all hope seems lost. Suddenly, it's like Death is having a field day teasing and prodding your player at the most inconvenient times, like for instance, while you're merrily skipping across a stream in the middle of a safe and lovely town. And the worst part is, if you've SAVED since then, all of the following saves are corrupted by this vicious and nasty bug. Yeah, so you're thinking, by the Nine, do I have to go back to a save from before this nightmare happened? The answer is a resounding, I don't think you do, but I'm not entirely sure yet. You see, I believe I experienced this bug... and survived. Wanna know how? Of course you do. And Google unfortunately scarcely helped me, hence why I'm writing this out. But I did find an obscure, tiny little post on the internet and in my desperation, I followed its advice. I punched a guard. That's right. Violence. Got myself thrown in jail and served my time. Haven't experienced a single randomly scripted death since. However, I have a mod installed called DAYMOYL, which complicates things a tad. For instance, rather than just getting up again after being defeated, my body froze and the DAYMOYL mod's menu never popped up. I had to reset my player's body and then all seemed normal until the random death bug of doom reared its ugly noggin. And instead of simply getting arrested, I allowed myself to be defeated by the guards, which with DAYMOYL just throws you in jail instead of killing you. So, my questions are: Have you experienced the randomly scripted defeat bug? Have you experienced the randomly scripted defeat bug with DAYMOYL installed? If so, what did you do to fix it? I really hope this post helps people who experience this horrible glitch.

So.. Out of nowhere this started happening in my game. My character just limps up or curls into the fetal position and the bleedout death sound queues. Can't move, can't change camera angle, and there is no transition/respawn loading screen. I've tried removing mods to see if it fixes anything as well as going to said mod pages and using and glitch fix/patches, already posted on a few mod pages to see if the mod may have compatibility issues with any others I feel may be the cause of the issue. Mod List/Load Order Mods that were removed for testing: Tame The Beast II I'm A Customer Dammit! ASIS (wasn't removed for testing, just got annoying) Mods I believe may be the culprit: iNeed incompatibilities (was using RND before, died while getting waterskin refill) I'm A Customer Dammit! (issues started when I used this at an inn) More Natural Encumbrance SkyRealism Encumbrance A lot of these mods are considered masters for Bash Patch and SUM (merged patch(es) ESP) and I have PERMA installed so removing them all and patching is tiresome but I will continue doing so. Just wondering if anyone has any experience or suggestions with my current order or combination of mods. I would like to be able to use Tame The Beast but there are no patches for any horse mod that is for the newest version, I'd also like to continue using iNeed as it is the successor to RND. I'm A Customer is just a fun mod to use in place of buying and eating food it is not something I care too deeply about using.

Hey all! I'm quite new to both this community and modding Skyrim, and am currently working on my first 'test' mod. I was wondering if someone could help me with a scripting issue: The scenario I want to happen is as soon as actor "DSDragurDevourer" dies actor "EncDragon03Frost" takes it's place. But as you might have guessed, I have absolutely no idea on how to approach this. Any help is GREATLY appreciated!
