Hello, not sure if requests for mods are accepted here but essentially, one mod I've taken a liking to is DServant's Combat Gameplay Overhaul, which adds things like mid-air attacks, proceduel leaning and dodging. Now the issue I have with this mod is from an animation standpoint, it's distractingly janky at points. This is most true when jumping, where a landing animation with initinate before your character actually does so. To demonstrate, I put together this video. As you can see, jumping appears to be rather glitchy, which I'd assume is caused by the aid-air attack feature. Basically, I guess all I'd want is for someone to make a version of the mod where this animation glitch is fixed, or at least cut out the part that is apparently causing it so only the proceduel leaning and dodging remain, because I've never really been able to find a dodge mod that matches CGO in terms of animation fluency or not needing a bunch of other mods to install. Apologies if this request is too much for someone to take on, but I just thought I'd ask is all.
  2. Not sure if its possible, but would someone be able to take the dodge action from the Thief vocation and assign it to the archer vocation? If im not mistaken, the archer vocation has a "Dash button" which on controller is either Circle or B, could that be replaced with a dodge? Since clicking down the left stick ALSO allows one to dash/sprint? I understand the archer is meant to be ranged but there are too many scenarios that can leave you surrounded and its just not mobile enough to enjoy some of those encounters.   3. Hello! For some reason even after running FNIS and ticking TK Dodge, i load into the game and my character rolls perfectly fine as that doesn't require FNIS. But after i tick the step box he just stands still and drains stamina instead of doing the step animation.   4. Deflection like Sekiro would be amazing (especially for two handed weapons since their damage reduction rates are not that great). Also, I often get hit while attacking, so it would be awesome if we can immediately cancel the attacking motion to guard or dodge depending on what the enemy does.
  5. So, some time ago I downloaded Combat Gameplay Overhaul mod, where I have found some little issues. One of them was dodging without stamina that was giving unlimited no-stamina fast movement, but problem was solved. Yesterday I discovered new problem with making dodges while over encumbered (overweight) and I have no idea how to find solution. I was trying with TES5Edit => CombatGameplayOverhaul => Idle Animation => DodgeRoll => Create new condition with: Type: Equal to | Comparison Value: 0 | Function: IsOverEncumbered | Run On: Subject |, but is still not working. Now I have no idea how to solve this so it will be pleasure if you can help me.
  6. Could somebody develop a mod that makes it so that you can use the "Swift" dodge anywhere (including Hogwarts and airborne, jumping, falling, etc.)? Additionally, I'd gratefully appreciate a mod that allows you to use the swift dodge to vanish for as long as you engage the dodge button. Essentially, it would allow you to indefinitely Sonic the Hedgehog spin for as long as you'd like instead of having to stop and re-engage. Perhaps a good edition to this mod idea would be to allow you to swift dodge over water as well. If you wanted to balance it, maybe a resource consumption meter similar to the broomstick would be a good idea.
  7. Is there any way someone could make a mod that makes it so that you always have max mobility? I've always felt it was FAR to difficult to get your equip load low enough for a haze dash, only being possible with a couple of bayonets and MAYBE 2 swords.
  8. Would it be possible to somehow implement the dodge ability from the RE3 reboot into the much superior RE2 Remake? it's the only thing I think re2 remake is missing is an ability top move out of the way "faster"
  9. Haven't seen it anywhere yet, though it seems quite logical to me. I don't think it would be hard to make - I don't know anything about modding except tweaking .ini files - but if someone could help to make it myself... If anyone can give me a clue where to start Learning it would be fine :) That would be a good start to make a complete overhaul of the game : my idea is that, instead of emphasizing on battle, the game would really benefit giving more place to the sneaky part and respect the lore. I take my ideas from a lot of mods already published, and add some new ones : - advent trooper should be a lot stronger since the beginning, since they have better material, that's just .ini files tweak - soldier progression should reflect that they are no militaries when recruited - since it's guerilla - so they would probably have lower base stat with better levelling in the beginning (and finish to the same level) - most missions (especially guerilla ones) should focus on the objective rather killing everyone, which would be more difficult because of above. That's not really a mod but rather the goal I'd like to achieve. - I like the mod "Call in Reinforcement", yet it does'nt fit for 2 reasons : first is that it can call an advent officer which will call another transport and so on, second is that there should always be reinforcement on missions, especially alien installation and goldpath missions - it always bothered me that ADVENT would wait until the last soldier death before sending reinforcement. I think I would use the timer to set the next ennemies reinforcement rather than destroying the objective. It often seems weird when I listen to dear Bradford saying "the alien don't know we are here but they will destroy their precious materials because why not." - a few tweaks to emphasize on every weapon features, just like most other overhauls TL;DR : more stealth and guerilla, harder fights
  10. Greetings Yeah I know this is extremely unlore. But I really dream that Geralt would accept Vilgefortz offer on Tanned and become mage (also I dreamed that Vilgefortz would kill Geralt, took Ciri's power and become a god, but thats another story). Is this possible with new modkit?
  11. This simple mods I think could make skyrim feel more epic More Enemies attack you at once. Basically a mod that adds bigger mobs. You raid a bandit camp and instead of like 4-5 bandits it is like 25-30 bandits attacking you all at once. More Area Effect spells. Like the animation could have fireballs shooting in 4 direction north west east south. Blood on screen Bigger Bosses. Meaning bosses are bigger in size. or more what I would like Huge Dragons, Giant bosses, enormous elemental World Bosses. Meaning bosses that wander the open world of skyrim Epic combat music Electric Guitars, Huge Dramatic Orchestra with Operatic music. Martial Art style sword fighting animations. Like jump stab. Spin slice. spin sword cut. kill streak quotes. Basically it doesn't need give you buffs but part of what I find addicting in Diablo III is the little quotes at the bottom while killing things. So I was thinking that maybe Ciri's dodge in TW3 could be turned into an active effect that could be toggled on and off using a spell or power so that during combat we could have some actual dodging besides backpedaling. As an example, whenever I press the jump key, instead of jumping, it transports me half a meter or so depending on what arrow key i'm pressing. 0:38 in the video has examples.
  13. I think I know how to fix Skyrim's dodging or the lack thereof. The Skyrim mod Colorful Magic features a teleportation spell that behaves the way I'd like this dodge to, it doesn't need an animation or whatever the problem with all the dodging mods seems to be. Basically you'd just be making the game teleport similar to the Colorful Magic teleportation but in the direction of your double tap and of course at a much shorter range than Colorful Magic. I think the intended result can also be described as similar to the dodge in the game Chivalry Medieval Warfare that the man at arms class in that game performs. I think it's obviously possible since the creator of Colorful Magic has achieved more than this with their mod.
  14. Hello, I'm sorry if anyone posted something like this before, or if there already is a mod for this. Let me give you a little background about this idea. I want to play a mage and I want it to be epic. However, being a mage without armor, makes me very vulnerable to physical damage. Also, I want to make combat as dynamic as it can get, not just stats spamming. That is why I was thinking about adding some good dodge for mage characters. I have found TK Dodge Roll and I currently use it. However, I want something more epic. What I have in mind is an ability. This ability, when activated will basically make the character ethereal for 1 second. Cooldown can be something like 5 seconds. Special effects (explosion like) around the caster would be great as well. I think it would be epic to basically ethereal dodge heavy attacks and do stuff like that. Its not overpowered, it just adds up to the epicness and brings more skill to the combat mechanics. Please tell me what do you think about this. I would appreciate any comments and opinions. If anyone would create mod like this, I would be more than grateful! I guess its not too hard to create, since there is everything already in the game (ethereal effects and animations).
  15. I was thinking to play a mage character. I have installed many mods, but what I am lacking is some kind of dodge - attack blocking. I have TK Dodge and roll, but it seems like its not enough. I was thinking of something like 1 sec become ethereal ability, with cooldown of something like 5 seconds. It would be really cool to become ethereal and dodge a heavy attack right in the moment! However, shout for that is not so effective and dynamic. Too high cooldown and too long duration. So, if anyone knows how to maybe modify it to last 1 sec, with 5 sec cooldown, or even someone nice enough to create a mod for it, I would be more than grateful! I was thinking with some nice (explosion kind) of blue effect when that ability is activated, it would be really epic and I am not sure why this does not exist already. It would work best as separate ability, but also modifying become ethereal shout would be enough.

  17. So I know that TK dodge is a thing, but I find the double tap style to be too slow to do reflexively within this game. Perhaps a dodge that works in the way that, when the player is moving sideways or backwards, player jump height is reduced (to 50 perhaps) and when the player presses jump, for 0.5 of a second, the player speed mult is increased x3, allowing a sort of side step or backward recoil, similar to how dodge is done in dying light. Ideally this would use a chunk of stamina too. What do you think? Possible?

Hey guys I've played through the Witcher and all its extensions and decided that the way Ciri fights kinda ruins my rhythm With Geralt it feel like a fluid system of free movement that includes tactics and swift thinking to get the upper hand, but Ciri's phasing thing isn't controllable enough it's like stepping through a doorway to somewhere within a few feet and trying to get your bearings, like stepping off a bus and deciding which way to go 1. Can someone give Ciri the same Dodge function as Geralt (without the skill you can give him which reduces your chance of taking damage though)? 2. Can someone give Ciri the same ability to knock her opponent off balance when she parries properly like Geralt (once again without his skills for extra damage or a higher chance of a critical hit)? 3. Can someone move her teleport/phase function to the Roll key (The roll to Geralt is his engage and disengage and her teleport will work the same way, but as to the story would be even better)? If someone can make this mod for me that would be great thanks guys :smile:

  20. Hello. Is it only me or roll-dodges are just silly, annoying trend in action games? I think that backstep or dash moves are much better alternative to idiotic rolling around like some sort of clown in circus. In this game actually there is good looking backstep animation, which is a part of "Evasion Shot" bow skill which can be learned from Ture (in Berg city). I would be happy to see mod removing those silly rolls and probably I would finally enjoy melee combat in this game.
  21. They removed dodgeboost (K-HOP) after 1.2 patch. We need to get back that "glitch", it was so mutch fun and mutch faster to travel.
