  1. So this is way off topic for the type of forum, but I thought at least a couple of people around would have more legal knowledge than I about how to deal with, and hopefully put an end to, some extremely dangerous drivers I have on my street. Before you post, please realize I am in the US, specifically the state of Alabama. State laws vary greatly so I don't expect an exact answer, just general advice. Let give a few observed examples: 1) The stop sign runner. Not even a 'california rolling stop'. Not even a slight drop in speed. To this guy, the stop sign isn't there. And neither are pedestrians. He's nearly hit ME a couple of times, and I've talked to a few neighbors, who have the same experience. One other says they were out walking, with their child riding their bike in front of them, when this negligent monster who has no regard for human life came careening through and, as I was told, came within mere inches of making ketchup out of their child. 2) Mr. 'Must use every drop of fuel possible to accelerate down a hill'. Every evening at around 9pm, this black Chevrolet truck turns off of the main road, and comes running down the hill into the neighborhood at full throttle. I am not exaggerating at all. FULL. THROTTLE. I think he's screwing with the little speed radar the city placed on our street, because I've seen it display 92mph one evening. NINETY TWO. MILES PER HOUR. RESIDENTIAL STREET. 3) The burnout *censored*. Some high school punk with a cruddy sounding old Honda Civic loves to pull out of his drive. Stop to smoke and scream the front tires for like a whole minute and then finally launch it to the end of the street. Speed estimated at about 60mph. My neighborhood is mostly pretty quiet. A lot of elderly folk. But we do have these young idiots, people my age, who just seem to have no regard whatsoever for the peace and safety of anyone else. I know my first move would be to get with the other neighbors, and perhaps come up with a petition of sorts. Last time the stop sign runner almost hit me, I got his tag number and called the police. They came down and said they couldn't do anything about it. Okay so what can I and hopefully a band of good neighbors do about it? (besides criminal activity)
  2. so i have searched and searched, for something pre-made, or someone who has modified an INI file or is it built into current modding tools tweakdb and red script. so far i haven't figured it out. i want to drive with controller but otherwise use keyboard and mouse. of course this works fine, but i want the UI to reflect only keyboard and mouse Icons, or switch back and forth properly. i think it might have used to work on my original play through but that was a long time and a lot of patches ago now, so i could be misremembering. currently after 1.5+ patch when i turn on the controller, the icons change and then won't change back. i want to be able to lock it to KB+Mouse or have it change back and forth properly like other games. can anyone help?
  3. Hey there, first time on the forums! I'm really desperately looking for a mod that allows cars to self-drive. I thought for sure at the end of the Delemain questline that it was going to give Del the ability to be called for transport services, like it had been many times before in the game. Does anyone know if this is possible, and/or how much work would be involved? There are a couple scripted scenes of self-driving, and I'm upset that they aren't continued later in the game.
  4. Could someone please try to make the Rayfield Excalibur a drivable vehicle? It's the luxury AV limousine. It would be super cool to drive that thing around and if I could pair it with car fly mod ahhh!!
  5. I am new to this game and modding in general, so apologies if this has been brought up before or if this is an extremely difficult mod to create.. Using the minimap as GPS while driving in this game is absolutely terrible. A mod that adds an arrow/line to the street telling you where to go and turn would be a huge help and probably be a top download. I found an image on reddit that shows this is available during street racing, but for some reason it is not available outside of that. Screenshot attached.
  6. Hi fellows Cyberpunk players, I am coming up with a delicate "problem", if you wanna call it like that and hope to find some help here. Of course I´ve tried to search for some help in the Wild Wild Web. But nothing online, or no one, explains how the "inputUserMappings" work for a Dum Dum like me. My Plan: To drive in first person throughout NC is awesome. But only if you are using a controller - in my opinion. So I want to map the "left" and "right" head movement, to the left analog stick (steering). But with a much smaller input value than 1 or -1. So that the head slightly moves to the right, if I steer to to right and vice versa for steering to the left. The up and down movement can stay bund on the right analog stick. Its hard to describe, but CP2077 is using this feature already. But its not to the extend it should be, to make it an immersive little feature. As soon as I install a FOV mod for a more immersive driving experience, this little feature fades away. So maybe there's a workaround? But I am not sure about all the bindings: <mapping name="FreeCam_RightX_Axis" type="Axis" > <button id="IK_Pad_RightAxisX" /> <button id="IK_Right" val="1.0" /> <button id="IK_Left" val="-1.0" /> </mapping> <mapping name="FreeCam_RightY_Axis" type="Axis" > <button id="IK_Pad_RightAxisY" /> <button id="IK_Up" val="1.0" /> <button id="IK_Down" val="-1.0" /> </mapping> <mapping name="FreeCam_UpDown_Axis" type="Axis" > <button id="IK_Q" val="-1.0" /> <button id="IK_E" val="1.0" /> <button id="IK_Space" val="1.0" /> <button id="IK_Pad_B_CIRCLE" val="-1.0" /> <button id="IK_Pad_A_CROSS" val="1.0" /> <button id="IK_Pad_LeftShoulder" val="-1.0" /> <button id="IK_Pad_RightShoulder" val="1.0" /> I guess I have to deal with this lines? My "inputUserMappings" files is already saved, so I am ready to learn. And another problem is the huge blooming effect while drive in first person. Sometime its just impossible to see the streets in front of you. But that's another chapter. No mod seems to work well so far for me. Thank you in advance for your time and for your Input. And sorry for my bad english skills. Stay awesome.
  7. I'd like someone to write a mod that puts an onscreen overlay of the GPS trail - which you can see on the minimap - to your next mission/quest objective when driving, like they did in the Watchdogs series. It is SUCH a PITA to have to keep glancing at the minimap to see where you're going and then running into another vehicle that pulled in front of you or missing your turn because you looked up at the map too late to make the turn. It's bad enough that EVERYBODY in NC seems to have been taught the bumper car version of driving and is oblivious to the other drivers on the road.
  8. Hey folks, Even with the mods and suggested settings, I'm using a controller (Microsoft Elite 2) and the vehicle handling is frustrating to the point of ridiculous. Even the slightest attempts to steer create side-to-side oscillations that end in crashes and loss of control. My suggestion is to let the AI drive (it does very well after all) in routine cases while always allowing manual override for racing or personal preference. This will make using vehicles much more attractive and pleasant, instead of having to walk everywhere or use the teleport system in CET. Easy enough to let the AI take its preferred route to the tracked destination. Not to mention making the game more accessible for those who are visually or otherwise challenged by the driving mechanics. Anyone else have an opinion on this? Cheers
  9. Hi, I played for about 10 hours and the physics of the cars started to get really annoying. No car should be able to turn so sharply or stop so abruptly. CP2077 is set in the future but inertia, momentum and Newton's Laws are immutable. If there is any more or less easy way to adjust the characteristics of cars or the game physics itself? It's not a driving simulator but it does spoil the sense of immersion for me. It just doesn't seem right to me. Hope someone feel the same way.
  10. Would be cool if the vehicles have a speed limiter like in the Mafia games.
