  1. For me, seeing that I have a whole lot of temporary HP is enough to know that Symbiotic Entity is active on my mushroom man. So, I could really do without the green effect after all these hours of seeing Halsin be a hunk of a smelly glowstick.
  2. In my opinion, one of the best unconverted Oblivion mods was the old Nature's Arsenal mod, a pack of various weapons and shields made from natural materials for druids and other nature types. The modder, although he seems to have left the Nexus two years ago, gave blanket permission for use before he left. The best of that pack was the reed bow, a bow made from cattails. The swamp aesthetic filled a sorely lacking niche, namely decent Argonian-themed weapons. And, look. Here we have Skyrim, a game with the most bad@ss Argonians to date, and no reed bow. This is a tragedy, no doubt! So, I take it to you, the Nexus forums: would someone be willing to convert the reed bow? Perhaps, even, make a scoped version a la Scoped Bows (I could manage a cut-and-paste + retexture if not)? I would be ever so grateful, as would every Argonian fan here (all five of us lmao).
  3. I know about the druid essentials mod. I think its amazing for a ranger like character but not for a mage. I searched for keywords such as druid, nature, ranger, Kynareth , Hercine. I was unable to find decent robe. I was wondering if anyone could make a druid robe. There are great mods for druid playstyle but none for the esthetics . My only problem with this outfit it the little 4-point leaf that hangs over the chest. It just annoys me. Don't ask why. :tongue: So I figured out how to use BSAopt to unpack the textures so I can knock the texture for that one part out, but I can't figure out how to remake the BSA file. I've tried using Archive.exe and thought I successfully generated a BSA, but when I loaded the game, the textures were not there. All purple. So... in lamens terms... how does one go about putting back together a BSA with your modified files (just one in this case)? Either with BSAopt or Archive.exe. D

Please, make following changes to cipher, if it possible: give wizard's "ghost blades" or replace "tenuous grasp" replace "amplified thrust" to wizard's "necrotic lance" change "amplified wave" target from ally to any (or enemy at least) give wizard's "death ring" (or replace 1th level "soul shock" to this spell with 6th level change, at least) replace "antipathic ray" visual effect (white ray) to "spellbind_minor_necrotic_lance_ability" visual effect (black ray) replace "soul whip" visual effect to "shadowing beyond" visual effect (dark "cloud") replace "biting whip" to wizard's "blast" (and add "penetrating blast"), but with focus gain of blast damage increase focus gain of "draining whip" from 33% to 40% and mindreader's amulet from 10% to 20%. (wizard' spells with focus cost and without grimoire usable, of course) Druid: give "rolling flames", "fireball", "fan of flames" and other wizard's elemental spells. And, please, increase rogue's "blinding strike" uses from 1 to 2 per encounter. Thanx!
  6. I am looking for someone to help me enhance an already existing, awesome house mod into an EPIC one. The owner of the mod is interested in giving permission to do so. The house is meant for more of the nature-loving Player with exciting alcoves, hallways, and an AWESOME Armory & Treasury. The mod was designed with Dynamic Storage Display scripts that allow a Player to place items in a certain chest and then you get to watch the items magically appear on walls, displays, and shelves. It makes collecting item so immersive an exciting. However, with the new version of JContainers, a good portion of these display scripts behave not how they are supposed to behave. I am an extreme novice wen it comes to the Creation Kit or else I would take on this project by myself. First off, I am looking for someone who will help me add the rooms and work with my ideas to eventually get a fully working Dynamic Collector's Display Sorting Storage home with even more rooms than currently included. Simply put, when a Spore Druid gets to around level 6/7 I would like if Halo of Spores would gain enhanced functionality, and that when it kills something while you have your Symbiotic Entity passive active, that it releases a cloud of necrotic spores in a 15m range for 1 turn that will, on Failed Con Save (of like 10), place said Necrotic Spores on any enemy creatures/humanoids in the area who failed it, resulting in them taking 1d6+ Wisdom Modifier of Necrotic damage per turn for 5 turns. Yes, this is meant to possibly be op.
  9. Hi folks. I think the panthers and/or displacement beasts make a neat base concept for some mod ideas. I have two ideas for two separate mods. 1) A class mod, Prowler: Class Concept: Combines the darkness powers of Dark Monk, the stealth and initiative/damage bonuses of Assassin, and the druid ability to Shapechange into two specific forms: Panther and Displacement Beast.This class can Shapechange into a scaling Panther at eg. Levels 1 - 12.At Level 6, this class unlocks the ability to Shapechange into a scaling Displacement Beast from levels 6 - 12.Melee stealth class that can utilize their Shapechange to get in, get some damage, and get out. This class is not a tank, but it can take a bit more hits than a squishy archer rogue, especially in cat form. I'd like the Panther and Displacement Beast to be the "core" of this class, so we can play as big cats and still do some good damage and have utility.Maybe Strength based because it sounds fun and different to stealth with a mace or hammer, but Dex might make more sense.This class is proficient in daggers, swords, maces, hammers, tridents (they need more love), and unarmed combat. Not proficient with bows or crossbows -- I think it should be a melee class to help balance out the ranged stealth characters we already have, and give more options than just Shadow Monk.Class Abilities: The Panther has stealth, sneak attack, bite, claw, leap, and some shadow abilities (unlike druid, I think this class should be able to use some dark magic or abilities while transformed, eg. the Darkness spell.)The Displacement Beast has similar traits to the Panther, but also has the abilities of the existing Displacement Beast.Shadow Step, Cloak of Shadows, Shadow Strike, Assassin's Alacrity, Assassin: Ambush, Brutal Leap, Darkvision, etc.Optional, maybe some ice magic, abilities, on-hit effects, or special interactions with ice. I imagine this class coming from an icy, dark biome and an ice-panther sounds cool (maybe ice-panther is a separate class altogether.)Why: I felt base-game Druid was very underwhelming while Wildshaped, panthers are not great in combat, and the Displacement Beast comes too late in the game to "build" around in my opinion. I've seen several people on Nexus Mods who love big cats and wish they were better and easier to access. Panther and Displacement Beast fit the idea of stealthy dark cats. 2) A basic ability mod, Shapechange Panther/Displacement Beast: Simply gives a potion that lets you transform into a Panther or Displacement Beast.Maybe adds some abilities to Panther to make it better than it is on Druid.Not as cool as the class mod idea, but it is probably simpler to make.Thank you for your time!
  10. Wildshape currently is pretty underwhelming. Forms stop at an early level 12 and they don't scale afterwards. It would be nice if one or more of the following was added: -new "end-game" forms of natural beasts. -additional wildshape feats or scaling current forms. -tweaks in current forms (e.g. only the wolf form increases speed, which makes smilodon etc animations seem weird because they are too slow).   11. I've noticed that the mod Druid Essentials is one of the few mods I use that could be cleaned, and I can't figure out if the ITMs are intentional or not. Does anyone know if the mod is relying on those ITMs for functionality?

When Developing Druid Essentials we wanted to bring the other side of Druidism to skyrim. Using this mace on a creature of the wild will automatically tame it to fight for you.) When creating spells, we wanted to make playing the druid work for different types of play. We created spells, for spell casters, tamers, hunters, stealth and even melee. Now this spell does not have a conjure animal spell. We wanted to make Animal husbandry a bit different where instead of making animals, you simply find them and tame them. There are also spells to help you track friendly animals to mass your army. There are also a few spells to buff your animals defense and heal them.   13. I'm using the Druid Essentials mod and I want to make some of the armor enchantments added by it work on vanilla and custom armors. The items are disenchantable but when I try to enchant an armor I get a notification in the upper left corner of my screen saying "Chosen enchantment cannot be applied to this item". I've tried different pieces of armor and clothing. Someone told me that I should open the mod in the creation kit, look for the enchantments and add a worn restriction as found for robes. Not very good at working with the CK but gave it a shot anyway. I've done that(used EnchantmentRobes and EnchantmentArchery), I've created a new plugin and enabled it but testing showed nothing changes. If someone could please walk me through a solution to this problem, I'd be very grateful. EDIT: It works now, I just forgot to add a dependency.
  14. Hi all, Can anyone recommend a good follower for a hunter gatherer/ ranger. A follower who is also a healer would be cool, preferably a Druid.   16. After installing and adding the mod to my data files as well as adding the script extender, I am having no luck with it. When the game starts it asks me if I want to activate the mod or something along those lines. I hit yes and proceed to Novaroma in Bruma to buy the book to begin the quest but the book is not there. The guy who sells stuff does not have it. Am I missing something on the installation side of things or am I just not doing something right in game? Any help is appreciated. If all else fails, the original druid mod works and I will just stick to that. I am playing on the Oblivion Game of the Year version via Steam FYI.
  17. I'm hoping someone will pick this idea up and make mod where you can also change into an owlbear. I know lore says owlbears are monstrosities (as druids supposedly cannot turn into a monstrosity) but still to turn into a cute deadly hunk of feathers is our dream. I saw other people talking about it online so I thought it would be good to try and get the word out for any modders out there who would be interested in making this if possible :smile: If it is not to much to ask, would it be possible to incorporate the different colors both a brown owlbear form and a snow based one like the cub?
