I'm not sure if this has been done and I've just not found it or what, but here is the basic idea: Every type of weapon (Daggers, Bows, Swords ect.) could have a craftable or findable version that gets stronger each kill you do with it. The original Ebony Blade starts out draining 10 health and after killing 10 friendly npc's, it will drain 30 per hit. The way I could see this working would be instead of draining health, it does extra damage and raises the damage every 20 kills with the weapon (Against anyone, not just friendlies like the Ebony Blade) The catch being, every weapon would level up differently and start out extremely weak as to add challenge.

Hello, I have a character that uses the Ebony Blade, and I noticed that the USP makes the weapon upgradeable at a grindstone. While I understand why someone might feel that not being able to upgrade the Ebony Blade was a small bug/oversight on the part of the developers, the book Admonition Against Ebony clearly states that "Not even the hottest fires of the Skyforge could melt it; indeed the coals themselves seemed to cool when it was placed within. We cannot destroy it...". Therefore, I would like to hear an explanation as to why the developers of the USP decided that the Ebony Blade was meant to be upgradable. I'd like to upgrade the blade if it makes canonical sense, but the explanation on the Wiki as to why you can't seems to have a pretty solid argument.

For personal use I'd like the daedric quest ebony blade to be un-fixed. So in essence, I'd like it to use one-handed weapon perks, and have its damage, weight, weapon reach, sound files, impact force, and stamina use configured to one-handed skill values whilst remaining a two-handed weapon, using and levelling the two-handed skill. It should also receive a damage bonus from the fortify one-handed enchantment rather than two-handed. So, basically how it was before it was patched. I'd greatly appreciate it if someone could make this for me.

Hello, I have a request for daedric artifact Ebony Blade. I want whispering lady / Mephala to keep praising the dragonborn from using the weapon with her lines like "excelent work, child" etc, even after the quest is completed. Of course don't make it too often, it's just good to know that the daedric whom my char devoted to is watching over them while using their artifact. Thank you.

So, I recently found out that there is a TON of unused script for the Whispering Door quest, basically the quest is a lot longer and much, much darker. And yet when I looked on the nexus no one had dug up these files and made the quest as bethesda intended. I mean, it could be a really amazing quest and we would even have a new jarl of Whiterun at the end, so I'm just hoping that if anyone out there has good scripting skill, please dig this quest up and restore it to the game.

#1 I can't mod if my life depended on it simple mod, I am looking for the ebony greatsword appearance to replace the ebony blade katana appearance, what I would imagine would be a simple rename on some files so that they both have the ebony greatsword appearance, I hope someone can help me out.

Hi, I am trying to make a weapon mod for my character. I'm brand new to the Creation Kit, and while I am learning a lot as I go, there is one snag that I've struck in this project that I need help with. The weapon I'm trying to make for my character is based on the Ebony blade, except it is one-handed and has different enchantments. The enchantment or magic effect I want to put on the weapon is where I've run into trouble. I want the weapon to constantly drain the health of my character while equipped, while doing increasing fire damage at the same time. I've learned through a bit of research that the best way to apply this to the weapon I want to create is through a script. Unfortunately, I have no idea how to write such a script. Is there anyone who can offer me some help with this part of the mod?
