Hey everyone! I've been modding for many years now, but I have never actually released a Mod. I've helped work on projects like Shadow of Morrowind, but now I'm going to announce a new project I've been working on. The Elder Scrolls V: Arena. This is a renewal project for the first Elder Scrolls game, with an original story based upon the simple and cliche original one. If anyone wants to see what I've done so far in terms of script and story etc. you're welcome to ask any questions. Anyway, this idea is to rebuild the original Elder Scrolls game, as a story driven quest mod that covers the ten years that the Eternal Champion adventures throughout Tamriel, collecting the eight pieces of the Staff of Chaos. Elder Scrolls Arena had a really interesting combat system! This was from the old games of gaming where nothing was standard, Where it was just a matter of what ever the dev thought would be kinda cool. This is one of the results of that, In Elder Scrolls Arena, You slash by holding right click, And dragging your mouse. To slash right, You move your mouse right, Left, Move left, To stab, Move forward. I don't know if it is practical, As I have just been playing for ten minutes, However, It is certainly immersive! I would LOVE to see a mod/way to do this in Skyrim! It can be modified of course, but, The concept is good for immersion I think.
