I don't need an eyebot companion with interaction AI, just one that will fly around my settlement and roam within the area for aesthetics. Should include relevant sound effects. Preferably craftable at the workshop and no need to have companion options. The eyebot mod on nexus currently converts a radstag and requires FO4Edit outside the mod to replace the radstag sounds. It also makes the eyebot a follower, which I don't prefer. I'd rather have an eyebot I can create/recruit then dismiss to a settlement of my choice.

Hi all, I uploaded my Automatron EyeBot Companions mod yesterday and since then I've been inundated with requests to include an actual ED-E mesh. I'd love to, but I don't have the skill to do so and I'm not allowed to use a modified NV model and textures for copyright etc reasons, so at the suggestion of a staff member I'm asking here: Is anyone willing and able to make a nice ED-E model and textures for Fallout 4? I'm sure a lot of people would love it and obviously major credit would be given. I know it's a long shot, but I figure I might as well try asking.

K at the end of Automatron you get access to the special construct the Eyebot pod. this spawns an eyebot to go find resources for you. Note that it just finds them not retrieves them. also the amount found is usually less than 10 of the resource ammo or explosive that it has been tasked with finding. this essentially makes it useless as any romp through downtown will usually shower the player in oodles of the usual resources. if it found a couple dozen of the resource or a couple hundred then it would be worth while. instead i propose it just be a 4x scavenging station. either with or without a settler needing to be assigned to it. or have the settler go out for the resources. either way just make it so i actually want to use it.

After finally beating old world blues, it made me wonder why hasn't someone tinkered with the old eyebots of the Enclave... Therefore why not go the extra mile and give him an entire overhaul from the arcane technology of the ominous Protoss of a completely different universe? This gives him a snazzy new look of the probe from Starcraft 2 as well as the Protoss probe's voice upon selection. For those who have no idea what a probe is, or if you just want a preview of what I'm referring to: ED-E Comes with a new set of abilities that match his new style! [ED-E-P+ Energy Warp Vendor] if you have the Sierra madre dlc he can become a conduit for the chips they use to purchase or sell items. [ED-E-P+ Energy Converter] You can store all forms of Energy weapon munitions in a extra inventory slot that will slowly convert them into a selected type, however the conversion rates are slightly above work bench ratios so this is exclusively for the lazy or out of bounds characters that are not near workbenches [ED-E-P+ Energy Recycle] There is an extra slot for all matter of drained cells that will be recycled at the same rate as the Energy converter, if fission batteries are placed along side drained cells, they will instead charge off of the fission battery and yield more cells if it were to recycle them normally. NOTE #1: The times for the Converters and Recycles are extensive and ED-E-P+ receives munitions and drained cells at the hardcore rate, his maximum weight is 10, this is for both Recycle and Conversion! NOTE #2: ED-E-P+ Will emit a sound when either conversion or recycling has finished! NOTE #3: ED-E-P+'s Converter can achieve alien cell conversion, but the rates are ridiculously expensive

is there a mod available or WIP for Automatron DLC that has the eyebots drop their 'spoils' in a logical place, like a container next to/connected to the pod?

So, as you all know, the automatron DLC gave us back the eyebot helmet. After screwing around for a while, I realised that thing looks absolutely fantastic with a suit of power armor, raider or otherwise. The problem here is, it makes an awful replacement due to the lackluster DR and lack of a headlamp. So if anyone's willing, I'd love to see a mod that adds another power armor helmet using the eyebot helmet's model. Maybe with a visible headlamp on the thing, maybe not, I'm not picky and I know nifskope edits are a pain in the arse - if you wanted to, though, you'd only have to scale it up by a little bit to be able to fit the vanilla raider power helmet right in there.
