  1. As the title says. This was tested on multiple browsers run as cleanly as possible, including Mozilla Firefox (all potential blocking add-ons deactivated, as seen in screenshot; NoScript doesn't grey out), Google Chrome (clean), and Microsoft Edge (clean). Using a computer with dual LAN & Wi-Fi active (& router literally on the other side of the wall), with gigabit internet (actual appx 50 - 75 MB/s). No other downloads were active, and the file downloads were tested using both the browser itself, as well as Free Download Manager. I am a premium member so there should be little/no throttling from the website & CDN services. There's definitely something f***ed going on, and it's definitely on your guys' end. Attempting to test your CDN servers from the troubleshooting page on Firefox leads to failure page CDN Download Failure (403 Error), for all CDNs but the Prague server & Premium CDN. Premium CDN instead can download small files in the handful of MBs, but stalls out on anything that is over that handful in size; Prague appears to work properly but slowly (5 - 15 MB/s), as I am able to download files that were failing on Premium CDN. It looks like an issue with file hashing as per screenshot; couldn't upload full quality because of forum restrictions, lemme know if you need me to send the original any way. On Chrome, the Premium CDN exhibits the same behavior; however attempting to access any other CDN test link merely quickly opens & closes a webpage that does not start a download. Edge reports failures to download securely on all but the Premium CDN which stalls out; sorta lines up with the file hashing issue seen in Firefox. In addition, the forum itself is moving pretty slowly as well. Might wanna see what's going on with your CDN servers.
  2. Hey, I'm creating a radiant quest system to be done whilst the player is in prison. Currently I'm working on a mine system, in which the player mines for ore in exchange for food and water. My issue is if the player's prison sentence is up whilst they're working on a radiant quest, it'll stick with them forever...or, at least, until they're thrown back into the same prison to complete it. So is there anyway to have the quest auto-fail when the player is released from prison? Also, as an aside, how difficult would it be to either change the prison sentence length or change the sentence to mine "X" amount of ore? I have no experience scripting, so all I'm really capable of is building levels, quests, and NPCs as of right now. But I could see about finding some help with it if scripting would make this possible.
  3. Please help! So the other day I finally managed to get fnv4gb to work with nvse, on my steam bought fallout new vegas. up till this point I simply used nvse to launch, but realised my game was using up memory to fast so i extended it with fnv4gb. it worked for a few days. now when I attempt to launch with fnv4gb. it begins a weird looping sequence that has me scratching my head as to a solution. To explain better, I use nexus mod manger v (0.61.23) with the latest nvse 5.03 and the latest fnv4gb. now I use nexus mod manger to launch fnv4gb, which in turn is supposed to launch nvse, both have administrator privileges and must be confirmed on start up, but now its a never ending cycle. I would click to launch, click to allow administrator whatever, then it would show steams opening fallout new vegas window. but suddenly the admin y/n box appears again. and this is a never ending loop. I cant figure out what is wrong. all my files are there, I've verified the local files, I've checked to make sure nothing is conflicting load order wise. but that should affect launch. I have no idea what to do. I'm trying to avoid re downloading the entire game as I'm Aussie who lives rurally, meaning my internet is slow and it would take me almost 3-4 weeks to download again. P.s Nvse + the normal fallout luncher also does the same thing, so its not just fnv4gb to clarify.
  4. Hey guys I'm trying to extract some models and textures, more specifically from some of Geralt's armor. But from any model, it doesn't matter if its a chicken model or an armor model, I`m always getting this error: I`ve tried exporting only the models and then only the textures, the same. I`ve even changed all paths with no "space" and reinstalled and installed everything and uncooked again. Anyone can help me? Thank you in advance.
  5. Attached below is a way OP spell. This is my first attempt at a spell and am in no way actually going to release this mod to the public unless asked for it. The problem with the spell is it simply does not show in your inventory of spells. I am sure this is something extremely obvious but I cant find anything on this. If I try to relearn the spell it says I already have it learned and can not relearn it, but I still cant use it. Any help would be appreciated as this is my first mod/spell and I need all the help I can get.
  6. So I've run into a very curious problem in my game, in that, during my escape from Helgen with Ralof, after fighting the torturers, I failed . . . Unbound. All of my objectives are have the red X of failure, including looting Gunnar's body, and Ralof won't move past the torture room. I tried teleporting him to Riverwood, but he just stands where ever you place him. I can't fix it with console commands (I've tried SetStage, SetStageCompleted, ResetQuest, CompleteQuest) and I don't know any other way to fix it. If anyone could shed some light on the issue, that would be greatly appreciated. Note: I have quite a few mods installed, but the only one that alters stuff like that is Civil War Overhaul, and I'm pretty sure Unbound doesn't fail from that alone.

  8. Ok, I am crashing and unable to determine which mod is the cause, and would like to learn if at all possible. I load into the game, using Alternate start. I can make my character, lots of the mods prepare their MCM menus, then after about 20 seconds of mods giving me their messages in the top left of my screen, I crash to desktop. Not sure how to tell which mod it is, i've uninstalled one or two here and there to test and no luck. **The ones with MCM menus, as i feel its there im getting my crashes. My Rig: GTX 760 4GB Vram i7- 4770k @ 3.5Ghz 16 GB Vram Cleaned with TES5 Edit Running Realvision ENB preformance version, no lag in game. SKSE - 1.7.2 Assistance is appreciated. Thanks!
  9. One thing I have been confused about when it comes to alchemy in skyrim is that there are no real punishment to failing. There is hardly any risk/reward to alchemy... No poison effects, No Debuffs, and No Explosions! Where is the fun in that? So here is my request, I would like to have a skyrim mod that adds a better risk/reward to alchemy. The more expensive and rare the ingredient, the bigger and more painful the explosion when you fail. With an added effect depending on what was mixed wrong, like being poisoned or being debuffed for a certain amount of time. Additionally they can reduce the risks by increasing their skill level or using enchantments and armor value, the more armor you have the less damage you will take. Some would view this as a hardcore request. I feel it to be more of an immersion type mod, after all, you are just throwing random ingrediants togther which who knows what will happen. It would make some sense for when you attempt to combind Fire Salts and Dwemer Oil together to result in an explosion due to the combination of Fire and Oil or when you attempt to combind magical ingrediants.
  10. OK people I have a minor but annoying bug/problem/glitch. Whenever I initiate the wood chopping block animation it triggers but my character only chops once and gets no wood at all. It seems to be fixed if I place Complete crafting overhaul at the end of my load order but one time I did this my game CTD on game save load and that only stopped when I used BOSS to put the file back where Boss wanted it. What should I do? I will provide a .ZIP file holding my most recent Papyrus log in case it contains something that may help out. Please be polite and considerate don't be a rear end. Nobody can know everything ok? Anyway Any suggestions or comments are welcome as long as it isn't mean, or smart-alecky we don't need that please. Thank you all in advance for your help, kindness, and cooperation to help fix this pest. And if anyone else has this problem in the future point them here so they can fix it as well.

  12. Alright heres the problem: I am VERY limited on my main HDD, Memory wise. I have a 30gb ssd with my os and other essentials on there. I only have about 1.76gb of free space. When ever i install a large mod, like immersive armours, that space drains as its installing. The green install bar moves maybe an inch across the screen before i get a sevenzip error. I was watching my space on the ssd drain as this mod installed, then when it failed, all the space would come back. Now i know these a temp files that are taking up all the space. My question is: Is there a way to have EVERYTHING that has to do with nexus mod manager stay on one hdd.? I have a 500gb hdd for everything else(Games, programs, etc.) and would like the temp files go there instead of on my limited ssd. Any help will be grateful. Cheers.
  13. I have enabled the in-game console and it works all right. I have acquired one mod from Nexus that fixes the font placement when you start up the console. However, I am getting a very weird output whenever I execute any command: For example, Let's say I type: runscript givetalent 10 Naturally, this is supposed to give 10 talent points to the current character selected. HOWEVER, I'm getting "FALIURE: No such script" every time I execute anything. And in the case of me trying to spawn an item (for example, a Grandmaster Fire Rune, I would type: runscript additem gen_im_upg_cry_gdm_flm 1) it would say Success but it doesn't get added to my inventory Does anybody know why I'm getting this? Any comments/suggestions/advice is welcomed! Thank you for reading my query!

  15. I had a thought for settlement power generators that may make things more challenging and interesting; generators that can break down and sometimes cause random power failures in a settlement. It would be much like what you see in some horror movies involving a similar plot device. Maybe even have certain NPC's sometimes attack the settlement when the power goes down, and the settlement defenses are offline. This would be particularly interesting/scary at night, and force the player to get the generators repaired before their settlement is overrun. More powerful/newer generators could be less prone to breaking down than the smaller/jury-rigged generators. Including options to configure how often the outages and attacks could occur would also be a big plus. Any thoughts?

  17. I'll keep this quick: So I installed 40+ mods recently. A few roadblocks were to be expected. Pain and frustration aside, I finally had my load order straight and an ENB with ReShade up and running. I couldn't have been more until the game starts crashing ONLY when pressing the B button on my controller. Kind of a gamebreaker and I'm completely stumped. :pirate: First time I've come to these forums for help, so go easy on me. Thinking it might be SKSE or one of the other frameworks that's causing it. Been testing the past few hours and really can't figure it out... IIf you got the time, any advice would be great rn. Here's the load order for mods and my Fo4 folder:
  18. So, like the title says, I can't login to Nexus Mods through Mod Organizer despite putting in the correct login credentials. It fails every time. Why? I know the password is correct. And the username.

  20. So basically i'm not a great modder or anything. I say this because any explanations i give or get may be or need to be brought down several levels. In other words, things need to be simple. ;D So anyway, I was making a quest for a new npc i have in the game. Making the npc, making the new location, making them stay there, those parts i had no problems with. Then i went and made the new quest. I followed bethesda's tutorial on making a simple quest, modifying things to be appropriate for my characters. I made elrinthir in the drunken huntsman have a new dialogue option "does anyone around here need any help?" and he would answer yes and direct the player out of the city and south to my custom npc. The dialogue was showing up until i entered some information on the quest objectives, and now no matter what i do it won't show back up. I tried removing the objectives i had added, and the dialogue is still missing. Could anyone help me out here, liek am i missing something stupid easy and i'm just blanking on it? I can provide pictures of the CK windows for any of the boxes needed to be seen for further help. I just want to get this dialogue fixed so i can play my own addon, its a simple go here kill that gain a follower quest, and i cant get the quest to start :confused:

  22. If memory serves, Fallout 3 had a wealth of mods. New Vegas's was a bit less impressive but pretty good all the same. Fallout 4 however, it seems to have a distinct lack of good mods. Most of it seems to be CBBE related, with some guns in between and half of which seem to be abandoned back in May or April. A good number of them are dedicated to simply 'fixing' what the Devs failed to do or complete in the first place. One would think they'd have taken notes from Enclave Commander forever ago, been able to easily release the crappy settlement building DLCs as patches and give us some seriously interesting content. It wouldn't be a stretch to say, as much time and passable enjoyment I've gotten out of Fallout 4, that its comparatively an utter failure in the shadow of the past two iterations.

  24. I have removed some templates of weapons, and now the game closes with no words after a few seconds of starting it. I'm sure that this will be some kind of obvious thing, I just can't figure out.
