  1. Unfortunately I haven't been able to find an answer to this question. What's happening is I'm writing a dialogue, and during the NPC's greeting they will randomly fall to the ground like an essential NPC would if they lost all health. However, they are not being harmed and their health is still full. What is going on??
  2. I'd like a toggleable No Damage mod I did not find the feature in Rampage ?   3. I dislike how any small fall while riding a horse causes it to stop galloping. Is there a mod that will re-apply a gallop if you continue holding forward, or a mod that simply disabled the fall from stopping a gallop? Thanks.
  4. [Text size 18 for easier reading] One of the things I love about the Fallout games is how the bodies are torn or blasted apart from attacks. However, one thing that has always bothered me is how a body could fall from heights tall enough to kill them thrice over, yet their physical bodies remain unscathed. I'd like to request a mod that enables it so when a body, both alive and dead, fall from a high enough height, they gib. Granted, I don't know how to mod nor do I know what kinds of triggers/conditions are available to modders, but I had some ideas as to how it may be implemented. *Bodies that are alive: 1. For a body that is alive, when it dies from a fall where the damage is less than the victim's total health, only the legs should gib and maybe the head and/or torso. 2. For a body that is alive, when it dies from a fall where the damage exceeds the victim's total health, the effect of the Bloody Mess perk should be applied. *Deceased Bodies: 1. When the ragdoll body hits the ground where the damage is less that the victim's total health, the extremity of the body that makes contact with the ground, the torso, and maybe the head should gib. If the torso is the one that makes contact, only it and maybe the head should gib. 2. When the ragdoll body hits the ground where the damage exceeds the victim's total health, the effect of the Bloody Mess perk should still be applied. I would think deceased bodies that gib from heights would be the most challenging seeing if the games references them differently than living npc's. If they are referenced to as just physics-based destructible props, there may be a work-around via some similar objects. 1. Cars can occasionally be seen spawning mid-air far enough away as they're being drawn by the engine. I've heard in forums that they explode when dropped from a high enough height. If that's true, then perhaps that script could be used for rag-dolled bodies. 2. Vertibirds, when shot down will crash and explode when they hit the ground, yet when they glitch through it, they maintain their tailspin beneath the ground's geometry. This tells me either their crash trigger is physics based or conditioned that it happens when they so much as bump the ground. If it's the former, then perhaps that script too could be used. 3. I was thinking about Power Armor, but since it's a static object until mounted, the fall animation may just be a character/npc animation instead of being a physics-based prop script. *Something I just realized after writing everything else is that from my understanding, there are two main ways bodies gib that should be kept in mind while scripting. 1. Minimal gibs is when the body breaks apart at fixed points being the neck, both thighs, and both shoulders. Though, from what I recall, along the arms and legs, where it is severed depends on where it is struck hard enough to make it do so. 2. Messy gibs is when you can hardly make out what the body used to be. When the body takes enough damage, instead of separating into neatly defined body parts, it explodes into a pile of non-descript bloody/meaty gore chunks. *Another thing I realized, and am annoyed at, is when there are too many bodies/npc's/objects/etc. loaded, bodies won't gib at all. This is mostly seen at settlements and I suppose large towns. Even though it is probably done to prevent a dip in performance, I would greatly appreciate it if the mod had an option to disable this no-gib safeguard. Thanks!

Since it's autumn, it got me to thinking that there should be a kind of autumn climate overhaul mod, similar to all the winter, spring, summer and tropical overhauls there are for Skyrim, so that those who like autumn can get in the mood, even when in Skyrim. I have not been able to find such a mod. Now, I don't really know how much work this would actually require. This isn't as much a request, as it is a suggestion, in case some modder capable and interested in this kind of mod (who for some reason hasn't already thought of it) finds it a good idea. I guess this may be kind of a late post, since autumn is already here, and I have no idea how much work actually goes into these kinds of mods or how much time it'd take to make. I imagine that doing it the "easy" way by just replacing a bunch of trees, plants and textures with ones from the Rift wouldn't be a MONSTEROUS undertaking, but I really don't know the technicalities that goes into these sort of things, so it may be more complicated than I think. Personally, I think it'd be best if the aim was to transform Skyrim in a not entirely lore-friendly or immersive way, by basically replacing many of the evergreens and such plants that don't really change during autumn with leaf trees, preferably introducing more variety amongst them compared to the trees we see in the Rift. I'd say it should also involve a wider range of color than seen in the Rift, where the trees are mostly golden, it'd be nice to see more orange and red leaves as well. Also maybe the spriggans could be retextured to be season appropriate, a spriggan with red leaves would look cool. I don't really have any expectation that anyone will do this, neither in part or in whole, especially not when autumn is already here, but I'm posting anyway, in case a miracle feels like happening. I guess if anyone wants this kind of mod they can leave a comment to show their support for this idea. Thank you for reading and perhaps considering the idea.

Hi everybody, and sorry for my bad english; i post it here because i tried many many things and i'm gonna smash my head on the wall because of this bug; i explain : I have heavy modded skyrim, moreless 150 mods of graphic enhancement, enb, overhaul, combat, magic, sound etc, and now, when i load a save and when i jump, i take fall damages (3 jumps i die) i can die from a 1meter rock fall, this is really annoying and gamebreaking, i can't really play like this. When i start a new game, it's fine, but when i load the save that i've done of this new game, it begin to bug... the same with autosave. I have tried some things like : - Run Boss - Make a new save (it worked fine for a time like explained) - uninstall some overhaul mods that i just installed before it bugs (i have installed quite a lot of mods in a short ammount of time, so i just can't remember when it began to bug). - i tried a mod that remove completely the fall damage but it crashed to desktop.. I'm completely lost with this bug and i'm asking the help of this community.. Here is my load order and list of mods : Skyrim is in latest version, skse too, i use NMM for 99% of my mods, i've all official dlc's i used TESVEdit for a compatibility issue with SkyRe but not to try resolving this bug (if somebody know how to change the distance of fall damage in TESVEdit, it will maybe fix my pb). My skyrim run in a Crucial M500 240go SSDin a classical directory. Thanks for your help. Edit : This CAN'T be a weird bug caused by a too weak computer (i know it can seem ridiculous but i precise), i've a really good and new computer that can easily handle my modded skyrim.

  8. Is it possible to create a mod where you character glides? The function I'd like is something similar to Archeage's glider system. The mod doesn't need to use gliders, just the same concept.

Hey guys, So there are a lot of good weather mods out there, and i love to use them, aaand, there is the seasons of skyrim project wich is a really nice mod (got to try it out yet, but it looks awesome) but one mod i really would like to see wich isn't done yet as far as i know: the seasons mod. now seasons of skyrim is very detailed but it only contains one season at the same time. what i would love to see is the seasons changing. (spring, summer, fall, and winter.) this is probably going to be hard to make for modders, but i've wanted this kind of mod for a long time. a few extra notes: - make sure the're snow and ice in the very north and on mountain tops at ALL times. one little mistake seasons of skyrim made. - some extra music for the seasons would be nice, if possible. - storms should be more extreme in summer, snow storms more extreme in winter etc. so, if you guys can do this i'd be sooo happy, so please... LET'S MAKE IT HAPPEN :laugh:
  10. Hey everyone I am hoping to get some help, I am not experienced with load order or anything. My Fallout New Vegas CTD's a lot at random times when out in wasteland but 100% crashes when I enter an area like the Goodsprings bar. I was getting issues with it before, I was always getting CTD so I removed everything and started from scratch and now its doing it again. I guess its just one mod that is doing it to me but I just can't figure it out and i've run NVEdit and it says everything is fine.   11. Some months ago, my brother saw a YouTube vid in which there was a Skyrim mod which lets the Dragons fall when they are shot in the air. As you know, normally if you deplete the HP of a dragon while it's in the air, it first still flies around and after a while it lands and dies or it crashes after a while. With this mod, the dragon dies in midair immediately, without first finishing the flying animations. Unfortunately, we both have no idea anymore how the mod is called and we googled for it all the day. Does anyone here knows how it's called? Thank you very much for your help!

Okay... this is getting far too annoying, everyone knows that NPCs are spawned as you move closer to where they are supposed to be, but for some reason, my game likes to spawn them above the ground... way too high off the ground. Whenever this happens, the NPC either gets badly injured, or killed thanks to Fall Damage. Heavens above I cant even comprehend why would this happen? How to avoid it from happening, nor how to reproduce the event effectively since the height of the spawning seems to vary a lot. But I know it is because of Falling Damage. You know when your character jumps, when it lands on its feet it produces a sound? Well, whenever I move around to cells which have a number of NPCs in it, I hear that sound, every time. I know that when I hear it, it means NPCs have spawned, and have fallen to the ground, I've seen it happen, and I do not know how to stop it, help please? Relevant mods being used here that affect NPCs and possibly their spawning behaviors are: -Interesting NPCs -Inconsequential NPCs -Extended encounters -Immersive Citizens - AI Overhaul -People are strangers -Real names -Immersive patrols
  13. Hello, I am new to this mod stuff and was wondering why frostfall classes the walking stick as a war axe instead of a mace. this causes problems with the killmoves and the perks. I tried to open it in the Creation Kit, change it from one hand axe to one hand mace but now my character swings an invisible stick and the real on stays on my hip. if someone could explain how to fix this I would be very thankful.

  15. [Mod Request] Dynamic Seasons For instance, the part of year when snow starts falling both increases and decreases. As well as, the time of year when snow begins to fall, and when it stops. Adding in fall and spring would be fantastic as well, however that probably would involve adding new art assets and thus be a lot more work... Fall, would have red/orange/yellow leaves one the ground. Spring the grass would be green, instead of the browning that occurs with grasses in Summer.

First of all, my Specs: Video Card Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bits Amd Fx - 6300 Six-core processor (6 CPU 3.5GHz) 8192 MB RAM DDR3 Directx 11 Hello, I am having problems with my fps in the game when I use mods, and when they are disabled the fps increases and drops do not occur. But using a program to monitor my PC, I realized that when I activate the mods, 2 cores of my processors are around 0% of use and the video card loses 20% of use. I wonder if anyone has any idea what it can be and I took 2 SS showing what happens. But what intrigues me is that 2 cores are not used and a third uses 20%, and the video card loses 20% of use. The correct would happen to the contrary, increase the use of everything since with more mods should I use more of my pc, or not?Any suggestion?
  17. I'd like Core(s) from Portal added like Skyrim's fall of the Space Core, that can fly like eye bots, similarly to how the cores can hover in Lego Dimensions.
  18. I'm requesting a mod that allows your character to get off the ground fast, perhaps instantly, at the touch of a button. That same button, allows them to immediately recover their balance mid-air if flung, and land on their feet ready to fight. I'm aware of "Fast Get Up", the mod that let's you stand up faster, but my issue with it is that it won't kick in except when normal standing animations occur. So there are times when you are sliding down a hill, or stuck awkardly on a rock, or even flying through the air when that mod can't save you. In a game as heavily modified as mine, with mods like Enhanced Dragons around to fling you every which way, I'd like falling down to not be a death sentence. Please, make it so that players can, at the very least, initiate the standing animation at will. Bonus points if it has its own animation and/or npcs can do it sometimes as well. Lastly, please try not to do anything that could make it less compatible if at all possible: modifiying perks, etc.
  19. Hello, nice to be here! I've recently purchased F3:GotY edition off of Steam and am trying to mod it. This is really my first attempt at modding and I must say it's a bit confusing and is proving to be a pain in the rear. So after much research and reading, I'm attempting to install the WSE and MMM mods using the Nexus Mod Beta enabler utility. I've been watching this guy's tutorial: Following him, I've six files to get the game up to speed: WSE 1 & 2 + patch, FOIP, MMM and MMM update. He first shows how to install WSE and I'm fine up until around the part when he attempts to apply the Hotfix patch after parts 1 & 2 are installed. On his video he encounters no trouble, however trying to do this myself greets me with this error message: "Boss_API_ERROR_INVALID_ARGS Master files must load before other plugins". It tells me before I attempt to install it that the file is out of date and would I like to upgrade it, I select no as per his instructions as he's shown exactly what files need to be downloaded which I've done, yet I do it and get the above. Haven't I just installed the master files? I've followed his video step by step as close as I can. What am I doing wrong? I'm going to try to delete and re-install Fallout 3 and Nexus MM, download the mods again and start all over. I have a few questions otherwise: 1) I've read that mods are not compatible with Windows Live, which will view them as cheats, and which is where my save games are. How do I bypass and disable this but still use it to save? How can I use mods at all, or is what I read incorrect? 2) he recommends downloading the archive invalidation program manually, not using the one in NMM, and placing the .exe in the data folder and then running it. What's the difference and point of this? I need help and any assistance would be greatly appreciated, thanks!   20. Tired of furniture, decorations and accessories such as vases and buckets just chaotically falling all over the place when you or your clumsy follower brushes against them? Well I know I am. Unfortunately I'm not quite a modder or this mod would be out already; I'd love to see a mod wherein a player could talk to the steward of his or her homestead (or a housecarl of a house if the player doesn't own a homestead) and a similar dialogue option would pop up; Player: Can you clean up the *insert room name here*? Steward/Housecarl: I'll see to it at once And all the fallen/displaced stuff will go back to where it was originally when you furnished that room. Maybe a little bit of gold can be given to the steward/housecarl for his or her efforts too? We really need this mod out there, so I can walk around without worry in my own house :P
  21. Hey all, I was wondering if it would be possible to eliminate fall damage, along with its respective animation. There's a trainer that allows you to infinite jump + super jump, but landing still kills you. Even with infinite health turned on, hard landings causes V to brace the fall, slowing down the gameplay. Ideally, without such a limitation, the game would be a fun parkour experience - allowing players to jump between rooftops and scale buildings without high falls slowing down the flow of movement. Anyway, thought this would be a great mod addition. Thank you!
