  2. This mod is for you, that like me, was sent to Finch Farm at level < 10. My mod suggestion is to block Preston from sending you to high level locations while still starting the game/being underleveled. What is does? Forces the next three questions to be OR Starlight Drive In OR Oberland Station OR Sunshine Tidings Co-Op. Once all three locations have been cleared the mod goes off.
  3. I would like to see or to know, if it would work, to let the Player also work on the Farm and weed? That would be cool and awesome, maybe one of you Professional Modders can do such Mod? Tysm, would be very great, so i could work with the Settlers.
  4. I was thinking of making an auto farm for contraptions dlc with northland diggers (keep in mind im console and don't have this mod yet) when i thought of something that would help alot. A provisioner who is assigned to find certain items in a workbench and transport them to another settlement. this would be helpful if i had a base dedicated to farming and wanted the goods shipped up to my HQ at the castle. or if i was using something like northland diggers and wanted crafting materials sent up so that i didn't get bored and cheat. because cheating ruins immersion. thanks. leave your ideas below.
  5. I would like to see some other food, like apples, pears, potatoes, etc added as plantable foods. Not talking about the fungi, hubflowers, bloodleaf, or cannabis (we got enough mods for that already) etc that other mods, like NX Pro Farming, provide already. I would just like some variety, like more fruits and vegetables, be great for cooking recipes
  6. Hey all, it's been many months since my last venture into this concept, but it really is the only mod I feel I need at this point to bring me back into the game. Self Growing Crops. There have been many posts about it, prior to DLC releases etc, and I am wondering if there is anyone working on this, or a form of a mod to accomplish this task. I just want to be able to plant crops and let them grow on their own over time (or require water/fertilizer if possible) and let ME harvest them. I don't want any settlers on my property. Some settlements are just that, settlements. Farmers, scavengers, merchants etc. and some are personal home properties where I like to be self sufficient. I am aware that you can have assign automatons as well as settlers, but even something like a "Sprinkler" that allows them to grow on their own would be cool. So, what's up farmers? Give me some good news.
  7. **FARMS OF SKYRIM** This mod should focus on farming and business of your own. 1. Garden 1.1. You can buy seeds from any food merchant in major towns or while harvesting. Ingredient seed can be found while harvesting or sometimes bought from alchemists. You have to buy garden tools to make a garden anywhere and then you can plant your seeds. 1.2. After harvesting your goods you can keep them in pantries or sell at your stall. 1.3. Many new recipes like preservatives, jams and other foods. 2. Animals 2.1. You can buy animals like cows, chickens, goats and other. You need to buy fencing to place it anywhere the world. Only then you can bring your animals there. 2.2. You need to buy feed for your animals or else they will die. If your animals are healthy you can sell them for other farms for a good price. (~3000 golds) You can kill your animals with one hit with all-new axes you can buy in store. Then you can keep the meat (to get more, Hunterborn is very useful) you got in pantries or sell at your stall. 2.3. Many new recipes like boiled chicken eggs, bacon and other. 3. Fishing 3.1. You can fish with fishing pole in drive-able boats or from shore. 3.2. An YES you can keep them or sell them at your stall. 3.3. Many new recipes with fish. 4. Farm houses 4.1 You can build farmhouses, anywhere you want. You can buy them from stewards and place in the world. 4.2. Farmhouses are original fully-furnished vanilla houses. (because we already have Home Construction and Decoration by Carlzilla) Thanks for attention :smile:

  9. Well I got to thinking skyrim is missing a few small things that no one has seemed to fix. ( or at least I don't think so. ) Skyrim gives you the option to plant potatoes, carrots, lettuce, and a lot of other plants but I noticed that you cant plant apples or tomatoes. So I feel that it would be more immersive to actually be able to grow crops, that being all the ones available from other merchants, on your own. Branching off of this idea I think adding a few other crops that would fit into the region would also be a great thing to include with this. I would love to take this on and bring this idea into a mod myself but after trying to create other mods and failing id have to leave this up to someone who would actually know what they are doing. Thoughts anyone?
  10. Even though the game doesn't qualify it as stealing, I do feel like a robber when I enter a farm, go straight to the chicken nests and get all their eggs. But I feel forced to do this because no one in the world sells "chicken eggs" (besides alchemists, but the chance of chicken eggs appearing for sale is very very low). The same applies for Wheat. I feel like this is immersion breaking, it's literally A LOT easier to get a hold of Vampire Dust or Briar Hearts than to get Chicken Eggs (if you're not stealing from farms) I would appreciate if someone could create a mod that turned farmers into merchants where you could buy Chicken Eggs, Wheat, Cabbages, Carrots, and so on. Thank you in advance :)
  11. I am looking for a simple house out side of Whiterun, on a body of water, so preferably to the West. I would like it to have all of the three things that are unique to the Hearthfires DLC, the fish farm,apiary and wheat mill, and, if possible an tunnel to Breezehome. I am sure that this would be easy to achieve, but I fail somewhat when it comes to making mods.

  13. Hi there moders I was wondering if someone could make a nice farm house with a armoury basement and lots of rooms on the main floor to. The location that would be awsume would be way out in the middle of the desert if someone could do this it'd be greatly appreciated.
  14. I worked so hard to set up a perfect farm for these little guys, only to find out they don't harvest in the rain! Is there any way to make a mod or change a file to get them to harvest your crops in the rain? Thanks! ^_^
  15. i don,t know if anyone has ever looked into this but i was working on a settlement on Abernathy farm. it was ment to be a spire like settlement built around and inside of the electrical pylon but it quickly came to my attention that the collision mesh for said pylon is ridiculously over sized above about 5 stories high and makes it impossible to build here. as some one who finds fallout 4's settlement system to be addictivly fun i wa s wondering if anyone would consider looking into this collision mesh issue as it is way outside the realm of my skill.

I was looking for a mod that did this for a long time as i like how it looks like on the default river farm. The only problem is that it breaks the texture of the spouse area. So i was wondering if there as a similar mod out there or if somebody is willing to make a new one because from what i can see the creator has been inactive for a long time now. :smile:
  17. What: Configurable Cages from Wasteland Workshop Why/How: Mod would include 4 new types of Cages (sm, Md, Lg, XL) that allow terminal functions to alter individual Cage mechanics. This would provide an alternative for repairing cages and allow for better automation for XP, Meat grinding and Loot Farms as well. No longer would the player have to deal with the monatony of entering workshop mode to go all around your cage farm to "reset" the traps. Player could choose "Repair Required: No" and simply use power as the reset function. When using other options, "Repair Required; Yes, Food Only", providing power to cages that "need repair" supplies will be automatically pulled from workshop inventory when "auto Workshop repair" is on. Larger cages could spawn more of each smaller class spawn types. Ie. Small cage may spawn only 1 mole rat, whereas, Md Cage could spawn 2-3, L could spawn up to 8 and XL could spawn up to 10. This means each Cage from this mod would require initial terminal setup before being functionable.   18. I feel like skyrim needs some sheep and pigs. Where do they get the material for clothes if they have not got sheep.   20. I suck with the G.E.C.K, so I was wondering if someone with a bit more experience than me could make a repaired version of the barns you can find in North Vegas. I've been meaning to make a player home with a barn with a complete roof, walls, and maybe lights hanging from the beams that go from side to side. I'd still like it to look weathered, with the same wood texture and stuff, but not as if no one's ever tried to fix it up a bit. Also, it needs to be an exterior building (no loading screen to enter).
  21. I am personally very tired arriving to my settlement and seeing that everything was destroyed while I was away and I didn't get any notifications. What's worse sometimes I get a notification, defend the location but a few days later my stuff magically breaks. Fixing turrets and generators I can deal with but plants not so much because I don't have any food stored in the workshop plus the hitboxes are very poor, some plants can't be repaired. I spent 2 hours messing with FO4Edit yesterday but couldn't do this. I tried settings plants health to 999999999 and removing AO_WorkshopResourceObject keyword which marks which things can be broken during attacks. If someone can create this mod or give me advice I'll appreciate it,

  23. There is no way I'm drinking that piss water you milk drinkers call mead. Whether it is Black Briar or Honning Brew. I will not curse my taste buds with that sewage waste. I refuse to support the Black Briars. I want to be Lady Black Briar's competition. As a member of the DB and Thieves Guild, she is protected from me. But, there is nothing against me starting my own wine and brewing company. I'm playing the long game, you see. I will buy this farm and that farm. I want to own a farm in every hold, because I want to farm plants from their native region, for the best harvest. So, I want a juniper berry farm in the Reach, a snowberry farm in the Pale and a Jazbay Grapes vinyard somewhere near Kynesgrove. You get the idea. I was thinking a prime location for a bee farm/brewery/winery/farm with farmhouse and its own bar, is Rorikstead. that's where I would set up my headquarters and center of business. I'm thinking growing lavender there and making this my primary place for my bees. I like Rorikstead because it is more open and it is the most fertile soil in all of Skyrim. Less bears and more sun exposer for the flowers. I imagine a huge field next to a farm house. Somewhere on the property is a brewery and warehouse. In the basement is where I would store the wine in a cellar. On location would also be a bar and a place to sample the latest wines and brews. What about whiskey and moonshine? Who's going to introduce moonshine and whiskey to Skyrim? The Dragonborn of course. I thought the name Dragons Brew, sounded pretty good. Simple catchy easy name to remember. I also thought it would be fun if we could name our brews. I thought of names like Queen Bees mead (Expensive mead made out of pure royal jelly honey), Milk Drinker (low alcohol mead with milk in it for the milk drinkers or for children), Mighty Talos! (Moonshine for the non milk drinkers), Dark Waters Whiskey, Sweet Mother's Mead, Pale Ale, Jarl's Juniper Berries mead, Spiced Snowberry Wine, Mud Crabs Merlot. Dibella's Divine Wine. Host your own parties. Who needs an invitation to some stuffy Thalmor party, when the best party in Skyrim is right here in Rorikstead? Bring Octoberfest to Skyrim. Drink! Drink! Drink! :D
  24. hello everyone, i want to start by saying i can not mod myself, i'm horrible at it. that being said i'll tell you what i'm looking for. i've been through over a 1,000 player home, fort, and castle mods, some horrible some too big some close to what im looking for but still missing things. i need some one or perhaps a few people to bring my concept to life. i'm creative but not as handy at the modding aspect like many of you. i believe i have in mind the castle/playerhome/fort/keep/farm/hold that every player has wanted and will want but hasn't been made. if anyone is interested in bringing this project to life please let me know.
