  1. Almost all the NSFW mods, are filtered out of my searches even though I'm pretty sure I've got the filters in my search right, and my account settings are set to show adult content. When I go to the profile of a user that has uploaded a random mod that's filtered out of my search (I've gotten to the mod through a link from youtube) the mod in question is shown under his files, but with an orange message on it saying: "This mod contains content that you have blocked in your settings and will not be visible in any of your search results." Has anyone experienced this issue and knows how to solve it? Am I missing something? Cheers! Never mind, I seem to have fixed it. I found a tab in my settings I didn't see before, my mistake!
  2. I have a lot of plugins that I've replaced with a merged plugin, but I have to keep the original plugins installed but disabled in case I need to redo the merge, or if my merge depends on loose files from the original extractions. I also like to keep my plugins list grouped by enabled/disabled status and sorted by load order. Vortex currently supports filtering by groups that are either automatically or manually assigned, which helps, but I would like to show all but a specific few groups (like a 'merged' group), and an easy way to quickly toggle all so we could then uncheck a couple. Right now I can go through and check each group one by one until all but the ones I want to exclude are selected, but the column becomes huge to fit all the groups in the groups filter textbox/dropdown. Being able to rearrange the categories at the top so that the groups category is on the far right would be handy in this instance, since I would then be able to filter by all groups except for the ones I want to exclude and then leave the groups tab far off my window width and still get to see categories like dependencies. Ideally it should not draw all the selected groups in the groups textbox/dropdown when a certain amount of them have been selected (i.e. > 3) and instead require the user to click on it to expand it into a scrollable list of toggles. Would love if either features would be implemented as it would make managing large numbers of plugins of different groupings much easier.
  3. I feel that It would be very useful to have an option to filter mods by lanugage. Oftentimes while I'm browsing for new mods half of them are versions of existing mods in another language. While I understand the need for these, it can become frustrating to sift through six versions of the same mod. For example, today on the first page of mods for SSE, eight out of the fifteen mods displayed were in six different languages, all of them foreign to me. Therefore, I'd recommend some sort of easily accessible filter, perhaps a drop-down menu on the main search page along with time and sort order and so on.
  4. Seemed like it was easier before... this is taking hours. All I need to do is to update some Mods, maybe find one or two new ones to replace those that are never updated. Why has this become SO HARD to do? I would love to FILTER by Game, by DATE UPLOADED, by what it modifies, such as livestock, chickens, sprites, greenhouse, time, etc.... Wow, this has gotten such a big, stressful, back and forth job.... what happened? Can we fix this? Make it easier, again!? PLEASE! (AND any Mods that are not updated for newer versions could be archived, marked as out of date, or something? Someone, please... help? This is No Longer Fun!
  5. We need in particular to be able to get rid of the MASSIVE Star Wars verse mods invasion  , but any non-lore-friendly mod should be easy to identify and filter out. How could we agree on this? Thanks!
  6. Hi, A really little thing. In the Downloads tab the "Progress" filter, doesn't have the option for "pending" (In queque?) downloads.
  7. This would be a handy metric to sort mods by. Currently, when you sort by endorsements, mods that are years old will always be near the top and newer mods are shuffled to the back simply because the older mod has had more time to gather endorsements. Shown as a percentage, frequently endorsed newer mods can still appear at the top of the list. Example. Sort by endorsements: 1. Mod A - 10,000 Endorsements, 1,000,000 downloads, Published 2014 2. Mod B - 1,000 Endorsements, 2,000 downloads, Published 2019 Sort by endorsements (%): 1. Mod B - 50% endorsements 2. Mod A - 1% endorsements (Here Mod B moves to the top because 50% of people that download it, endorse it)
  8. I'm not here very often, only when I buy a new old game. I'm always annoyed by the video ads - wait, don't judge - and I usually wind up poking around in the forums to determine the state of everything: the mood, feeling, the angry eyes of disenfranchisement... mostly I make note of signs to determine if Nexus Mods is about to rise up in a white hot fireball upon the horizon after failing a routine insanity check somewhere. This time I found something neat - a sticky post explaining ads, traffic, servers, moons, teaspoons, all the reasons why Akira ended the way it did and not some other make-believe way, and why it's so expensive to give us the various filters, categories, tags and etc and whatever that we all obviously need and use. Here I am at 4 something with my feedback: I don't use that crap: I pick my game somehow, I check out the mod categories for it, which are often duplicated and messy and not all that helpful kinda in the way a badly organized Steam library isn't that helpful, and then I get out of there and just sort mods by most downloaded of all time to get the patches and must have crap. Usually, actually, I already know what I'm after because of some other smart guy who never directs me to drill down using the hugely fancy tags and stuff but instead just gives me the exact link or name I need. I don't recall ever painstakingly filtering out the very idea of a sexy-mod, or becoming red in the face and aghast when some hair or armor mod inevitable chooses a bizarrely suggestive image to present to the casual browser who has not carefully selected various tags and filters to shield their chastity. I won't mention the decidedly quaint place I go for stuff like that, but sexy or gory or naughty-languaged stuff here is a non-issue and not worth the molten flying silicates of net gear, and neither are half the tags and other features that are only used because what the hell else are we supposed to do... know what we're looking for?! Maybe I'm wrong, you know. Maybe some day I'll be overjoyed to play with every tag and filter I can find because when I search for stuff now I definitely don't think to myself ease down, ease down... you're just grinding metal. Let me use my favorite line: "I get it, I do" lol Anyway, I don't remember who authored the sticky post but maybe they can be directed to this one. Mostly because I don't get it, but also because the post seemed peevish - in an endearing way - and I want to make sure that person knows I at least appreciate everything all of you do, despite my casual usage. And also I've forgotten my lifetime login from years ago, so don't point out that I should probably pay cash money for anything, because I won't until I get over that sad and annoying fact. I do don't get it though, and to be honest I don't care but I would hate to see this site implode in some beard-rending apocalypse brought on by the ungrateful hordes because of a lack of feedback, and so here you see I'm helping as only the ENFP can, and speaking of that I'll now crawl into bed since it's so late, so so late -- dictated not read 11.30.20.0429 KA
