  1. I am starting a fresh FO4 game. I'm stuck wondering which is the best framework to support multiple followers / companions? Amazing Follower Tweaks (I am aware of the limit in numbers) Liga of My Companions Unlimited Companion Framework Each have plus points. I've used UCF before.   3. I want to try making a completely different character, but I want to disable some active mods, and add mods only for that character. Is it possible to quickly do this by creating another section all together?

Problem is, all the objects starting with DLCxx have the xx messed up so Contraptions (DLC04) objects characters etc are grouped as DLC05 Vault-Tec (DLC05) objects characters etc are grouped as DLC06 NukaWorld (DLC06) objects characters etc are grouped as DLC06 Strangely this does not happen to the first three DLC, Automatron, Wasteland and Far Harbor. Probably the more evident effect is that in building mode you see the wrong DLC icon. I don't think there are problems about quests, at least I haven't met any while playing NukaWorld. Still I'd wish to change the wrong Group prefix to everything in the above DLCs, probably caused by a mod but I am not sure about this, as I deleted Fallout4 folder to replace it with my clean backup, and deleted both Loot and Fo4Edit folders just to be sure, but problem remains. As an example: Nuka World potential companion Porter Gage's ID is DLC04Gage Any suggestion on how I can change all the DLC Group references into the correct ones? Thank you.

  7. {{{{{{{{{{{{{{{ SKYRIM AKAVIRI WORLD TOTAL CONVERSION }}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}} INTRODUCTION & THE MAIN IDEA BEHIND THIS PROJECT _____________________________________________________ The Basic idea started with a (what if question) "what if Skyrim was more oriental/Akaviri theme than a European/medieval theme? there are a lot of fans and modders that love any Akaviri style mods including myself so, I am pretty sure people would enjoy such an idea. If this project was made object for object and creating everything from scratch, it will take years and be nearly impossible to accomplish. If that was the case I would not even have started this idea. Instead idea is to not recreate and build a whole new world but, transform and replace what is already there. it is not Akaviri nor, is it Skyrim but, Skyrim through the eyes of Akaviri, like a parallel universe where Skyrim has Asian theme instead of a European medieval theme. The world and settings are already in place and created thanks to Bethesda studios, all that is needed is a replacement overhaul with new models and textures that are shared throughout Skyrim. Let's say that if you replace a single tree model that is found throughout the game, you only need to replace 1 tree to replace a 1,000 trees, if you replace a certain armor, weapon, or item with a new model and texture it will replace countless weapons, items, and etc.... The trickiest part would be the buildings as they will need some moving around and resizing as well as interior work and scripting to teleport to another room if there are going to be interior models; and the interactive map. These are the difficult parts once that is taken care of, the rest should be a walk in the park. Other small things that will help enhance the mod would be changing the title screen background, along with the player menus to give it a new feel like a bamboo boarder and new text. Next Changing the icons in the hud and markers on the map. _________________________________________________ POSSIBLITY OF CREATING SUCH A BIG PROJECT _________________________________________________ Making this project is very possible with some teamwork and effort. There are mods made for Skyrim that have shown that, the idea I had in mind is very possible following that logic. It is possible to replace the entire landscape like with "The Tropical Skyrim Mod" that replaced the Winter wonderland of Skyrim into a tropical paradise. It is possible to replace the armors of the guards like with the "Samurai Guards Mod". That made all the guards around Skyrim wear a really cool Samurai Armor. You take the concepts of these mods and form many aspects for the project and, then put them all together to create an amazing new experience that I am sure many will enjoy.   9. When I was sniping by the mountain cliffs not far from Beford Station I killed an enemy and later one of his teammates came back and just walked strait by him. I dont know why bethesda dident add behavior traits within groups that they should react very differently when a partner is killed. I just remember from Far Cry 2 this made the combat even more intense. I just thougt maybe this could be a nice feature to add within the group environment.

Is making groups like this no longer possible? I made what you see in the image above in 2019. I can't seem to replicate it anymore. I simply cannot remove the lines anymore. Was what I did a bug? lol. I know it says "Masterlist groups and rules can't be removed", so I'm a bit confused on how I was able to, but can't seem to do it now. Personally, I'd appreciate having the ability to do this back. Maybe even as a hidden option for "experienced users" or something.
  11. Okay so, I'm currently working on a mod which aims to add in multiple hireable mercenary groups into the game (Warbands, Companies etc). If anyone has played the "Mercenary Company" mod, imagine that but on a grander scale (i.e. rather than just one mercenary company option, you have multiple - all with their own rules / requirements / unique style etc) and no essential NPCs. Each group has a captain / leader figure (not that powerful, not essential and, if they die, can respawn after a period of time) with weaker minions following them (can call on more to join if you pay for them). Once the captain / leader figure dies, the minions retreat back to their origin, and you'll have to hire the company through that respawned captain / leader figure again when he / she respawns. If the captain / leader figure doesn't die 24 hours after hiring them, you will have to pay an upkeep of -50% the initial fee, otherwise will return to their origin and require the initial fee to be paid again. I would also like to (after initial release) give the option for players to join them on temporary radiant quests provided that they meet the requirements to join if there are any (e.g. race, skills, purchased / using uniform etc). I want to do one for every hold, each with their own distinctive look (custom content can be made by me - new 3D models and textures)/skills - but always oriented around loud combat (so no sneaking around). I do have a few initial ideas for two or three companies, such as the ones listed below, but for the rest I don't know what they ought to be like. I want each company to look and feel different to one another, so that the player can mix and match them to suit their (loud) play style, but I need some ideas since I'm not all down with the lore of the series as some others are. Once I get the mod working with vanilla content and unique functions for the different merc groups, I will start doing the custom armor/weapons and finally voice overs for them (since I have a good mic and an accent like some of the Imperial Legionnaires, I'll probably do an Imperial race captain - EEC probably). 1. Blackwood Company (Morthal) - Average From the ashes of the former Blackwood company that existed during the times of the Oblivion Crisis, the Blackwood Company was revived during the time of the Great War. Headquartered in southern Cyrodiil, the ever increasing demand for fighters across Tamriel has the newly resurrected Blackwood Company exceeding their past glory through accepting many contracts other mercenary companies would not consider accepting - wherever there's a marsh, there's likely a group of Blackwood mercenaries ready to do one's bidding for the right price. Primarily consisting of heavily armored mercenaries of Argonians, Khajiit, some Imperials and even a few Orcs, they fight for anyone who pay their fees and welcome anyone into their ranks provided they're comfortable in heavy armor. Due to their predecessor's notorious use of the illegal magical drug known as "hist sap" 200 years ago, they have sworn to never use magic while on contract - instead relying on their own steely resolve to distance themselves from their past shame. Employers or those wishing to offer their services to the Blackwood Company must refrain from using any magic in their presence (if you do, they will require the player to pay the initial fee again if the player has employed them or risk them disbanding immediately, or tell the player to leave their party if accompanying them on a radiant quest). 2. Breton Band (Markarth) - Cheap *TBD* 3. East Empire Company Marines (Solitude) - Expensive You know of the East Empire Trading Company already, but what about their private fighting force? These guys are mostly disciplined former-Legionnaires employed by the company who are in Skyrim to protect the Empire's interests through the EEC on land. You can hire out these marines for a ridiculous price and are rewarded with their power, but they refuse to fight against other Legionnaires (EEC loyalties to the Empire) and/or Thalmor factions (in fear of sparking a Second Great War). They use Imperial-style armor/weapons and are pretty diverse, as the EEC recruits from not just current/former provincial Legions of the Empire, but also from members of the Imperial Navy and pirate groups from the Sea of Ghosts. Being a member of the Imperial Legion of Skyrim provides a discount towards their hiring fee and allows the player to join immediately. They cannot be hired at all if the player is a Stormcloak. 4. Talos Warband (Windhelm) - Expensive Parallel to the EEC in that they are also disciplined former-Legionnaires. However, they are faithful Talos worshippers and therefore renounced their loyalty to the Empire, who have blasphemed against their patron deity by signing the White-Gold Concordat. They put faith in only themselves and Talos, taking on the role as sellswords to make a living. They warm to others who also put faith in Talos, therefore they will not fight those who fight for Talos (i.e. Stormcloaks). Being a member of the Stormcloaks provides a discount towards their hiring fee, and cannot be hired if you are part of the Imperial Legion. They are distrusting of non-Nord races (especially Mer), so the cost will increase if the player is not a Nord. They also cannot be hired if the player is an Imperial Legionnaire. 5. ? (Whiterun) - Cheap Not sure what their background will be, but I would want to make these guys ideally suitable for starting players. They would be the most neutral and easily obtainable/joinable. They would also be the weakest individually, but stronger in larger, upgraded groups. If wishing to join, there will be no certain requirements to join on radiant quests - they're practically unorganised fodder. 6. ? (Riften) - ? Maybe a thug-like group? 7. ? (Falkreath) - ? Redguards, since the hold borders mainly on Hammerfell? 8. ? (Dawnstar) - ? ... no ideas yet. 9. ? (Winterhold) - ? Mages or Spellswords? So, anyone got any ideas for potential mercenary groups?

  17. I have this idea for a mod that creates a new faction or group of soldiers that are dressed in either the High Desert Tactical Gear or something of that caliber. They would have a well-put together base somewhere away from settlements and other locations. If anyone wants to do this please comment and message me!!!
  18. I have the latest version of Skyrim, Mod Manager, SKSE and Skyui. The problem is I do not have any group options at all. On the favorites menu the boxes designated for groups are greyed out with out numbers on them. Also all the key shortcuts for the group functions do not work at all. I made sure they are not conflicting with other Skyrim buttons. What else can I do? I really need this feature! I appreciate any help I can get, thank you

I have a problem that everytime I install a group of followers mod (Elf Followers, KFollowers, Kawaii Followers) when I save in a main city like Whiterun or Solitude, each time I try to load the save file the loading screen takes forever and so my make does not load. Each time I deactivate the mod and the followers from there dissapear, and then I save the file again, I can play once again. Please help me, what is happening? I want those followers....
  20. Greetings, I need to know if Wrye Bash supports showing ratings and group tabs. What I really mean is Wrye Smash (Wrye Bash) for Skyrim. This feature was very useful for me when manually profiling my load order ever since I used Wrye Mash for Morrowind. I do not know if Wrye Bash for Oblivion has this feature enabled as I do not have OB, but the version I am using for Skyrim - Wrye Smash 3.0.3 does not show the ratings and group even when I enable it in the collumns section. I do not know if this is a bug, I've tried the python and standalone versions of Smash with the same thing it just doesn't check the ratings and group when I enable it. Thanks. :)

  22. Is it possible to create a BodySlide group(?) for an outfit that doesn't already have one, so that it can be rebuilt to a custom body preset?
  23. Hi all! I'm going to try to cut this short because I honestly don't know what my issues is, and would like a fix asap. It seems that at random moments during my playthrough I encounter a bug that doesn't let me access the Grouped Favourites section (Space: Toggle / F: Group etc.) function of SkyUI. Apart from SkyUI, Nether's Follower Framework gives me some trouble as well. As of now, this bug has happened to me twice, and each time my followers either disband on their own, or I can't interact with them entirely (My current followers are Dwemer Dog and M'rissi). Also, the mod configuration menu of NFF doesn't open either, it just gets frozen on a logo screen with the only option being to exit out of the menu. Another minor issue is that whilst all this happens, I cannot harvest souls from mobs via soul capture. I'm running a mod that allows for optimised soul captures (Aquisitive SoulGems Multithreaded). So far those are all the known issues I've encountered. They happen simultaneously, and at random. I have no clue why only those mods are affected or why it even happens in the first place. I've attached a list of all the mods i'm currently running. I'm using Vortex as my main mod manager, also i'm using LOOT and SSEEdit for mod organising/cleaning. Any opinions, suggestions, fixes or similar experiences are much appreciated. Feel free to ask for any more info if I was too vague in my explanation cheers <3

  25. I'm looking for a mod that allows me to start a guild for NPC's. I know about Sokco's Guild Starter, but I'm looking for something that will: *Let me have more 10 members *Let me control where I may encounter the guild members when they're out and about (I'm particularly interested in having them patrol modded locations, e.g. Halo's Aether Suite mod) Does anyone have any suggestions?
