  1. This has probably been covered somewhere, but I'm not sure where to find that, and I'm very frustrated, so I could use some help... So I downloaded this via Vortex, and pathed it correctly (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data\CalienteTools\BodySlide\BodySlide x64.exe). But when I activate the Bodyslide studio, the "Preview" button shows models, but the outfits have "No Image" instead of their actual textures. According to the FAQ, I'm supposed to run the game via Steam to fix this error. But whenever I try to do THAT, I get an error message saying that Steam Cloud found a conflict between my local files and the ones saved on the cloud. The thing is, both sets of files show the same date...and NEITHER of them is the correct date of my most recent save files! And from what I read somewhere, choosing either could wreck my current save files! What do I do here? I seriously need some help, because I'm shaking my fists and weeping in frustration right now...

I have a problem. when ever i load my game with mods i cant use skills any more. there not there any more. useable items dont work, the use part of the item has vanished. and enimies seesed to fight. i have re installed multiple times and i have managed to make it work right once or twice, but if i involve a mod i have used before with success then it just stops working. if enyone is suffering the same problem and has advice or if you just know whats wrong then please help. I'm just starting to get a little frustrated :wallbash:
  3. Ok so i was following a Tut on the creation kit and i was making a little dungeon with a cave as i was doing it my viewing went into the void so i can't see anything i double hit a item to get back to it and it works but i can't see it i hit w and i see the lines around it but no items
  4. I'm new to Nexus (sort of) and new to mods (sort of). I haven't really made any mods before, but I do have some very limited, vague understanding of how to make hair due to watching tutorials of people making hair meshes in Blender for the Sims 4. Like... I think I can figure out how to make something look the way I want it to look -- it's the implementation that's the issue, as I have NO idea how to do that. What I would like to know is: Should I use Blender to create new meshes for custom hair for Dragon Age: Origins? If not Blender, which program should I use? In Blender (or whichever program is best), what are my first steps for creating hair for Dragon Age: Origins? As in, do I open a base, do I start completely from scratch, do I need to have things formatted a certain way, etc etc What format should I save my finished mesh in? Are there any specifics steps I need to take here? How do I put my hair into my game? I'm more interested in just getting it to show up in the toolset, but I would like to know how to get it to show up in the character creator, for others who might be interested in what I've created. How would I prepare my hair for upload to Nexus for others to download?I know this is a lot to ask, and I apologize for my ignorance. I really want to create some content for DA:O, I just have NO IDEA how, in technical respects. If any of you kind souls could help me out, I would be so immensely grateful. I also ask that you explain things as simply yet thoroughly as possible -- I know that's vague, I'm sorry. I've been having some pretty... significant neurological issues lately that makes it harder for me to process things like I should. (Nothing serious, I think. One doctor thinks it's just a pseudo-tumor -- because apparently that's a thing -- and it should be totally treatable. I see neurologist in August. I just really need you guys to understand why I need help and why I need simple but thorough instructions. Simple so I don't get lost, and thorough so I'm less likely to screw up.) Ideally, I'll reach a point where I'm creating hair specifically for Dragon Age: Origins. My hope is to create a series of hairstyles that are somewhat realistic -- in terms of how hair actually works and in the sense that it's not out of place in a medieval fantasy setting. Because I highly doubt that emo bangs would be in style in Thedas. If creating hair proves to be manageable, I'd love to be able to move on to other projects, like re-texturing some things or even editing some clothing meshes so the anatomy isn't so... odd. But right now I'm focusing on hair, because the default hair in DA:O is appalling and most hair mods available just feel out of place in the game to me personally. Sorry for the rambling. I've been having more and more trouble reining myself in lately lmao (sorry if this is in the wrong place or redundant -- not to use the whole "possible pseudo-tumor" thing (seriously what even is that) again but reading has become pretty hard and this already took way too long write)
  5. Okayy, anyone who helps me out here gets 2 kudos, 1 off me 1 off my mate who's having the same issue. Basically im trying to get this mod "God's Right Hand" Its a weapon mod for the powerfist, well its actually a mesh, it replaces the power fist in the game, But when i downloaded it (I made sure i did it right) It simply didnt work, and i still have my normal power fists, i think it might be to do with me having FOOK because fook has a retexture for the power fist. I really want BOTH mods, fook and gods right hand. So please help!   6. So, I've recently gotten into the mod scene, and was starting to work on scripts, but I don't think it's working. I've done the -editor thing to the NVSE loader and run it through that, and have the geckpu-nv.dll in the Data>NVSE>Plugins folder, but I have no idea if it's doing anything. So: 1. Is there a way to see that NVSE + PowerUp are actively working in the geck? 2.When I create a new script, in the "Result Script" section of Quest Stages, shouldn't an error pop up if I just randomly put letters in the box and hit "Compile Result"? 3.How are you doing? :mellow: Any help from you guys would be greatly appreciated.
  7. Hello forum dwellers! I'm trying (TRYING) to make a mod to put on the wonderful site called the Skyrim Nexus and I've run into the worst problem of my time; *DUN DUN DUNNNNN* THE DARK FACE BUG. *background lady scream* I've tried to do the Ctrl+F4 command in the Creation Kit. And yes I went to Actors and then to Nord Race (my npc's race) and selected him and all that jazz. The in-game console command setnpcweight works but it only works until I enter a new area or go through a load screen. I am not a very experienced user of the Creation Kit but everyone has to start somewhere right? Anyway, it makes the face textures and all in the directory but it seems like Skyrim doesn't care. I can see that it makes a .dds and a .tga but apparently that does nothing. So I don't know how to fix it or if I should restart or I don't know. Has anybody else come across this issue and Ctrl+F4 didn't work? Also I'm using Apachii Sky Hair if that's a factor.
