  1. Hello everyone, how do face overhaul mods manage to come with such a smooth/high poly face? I'm currently using UNP + Mature skin, texture-wise it's damn good, but at the chin, for example, the low poly is very obvious, is there any mods I'm missing? ive tried High poly head mod, but it gives weird bugs to brows/hairs
  2. Can anyone tell me why when using high poly head it creates an invisible outline of where the vanilla head was? This is especially noticeable around the chins & definitely noticeable around khajiit ears. Especially when wearing a helmet. You'll still be able to see invisible ears.
  3. High-Poly head not working. The correct version of the mod has been installed via MO2 and the slider in character creation is present but nothing has seemed to change, besides the high elf and male version having a weird "texture" around the eyes (as seen in the image links. I thought the weird textures near the eyes might have had something to do with one of the mods being installed might have caused the problem but having since removed said mod(s) there had been no change. Although that might not be the case due to the weirdness around the male characters' eyes as well as a few of the eye options for female characters' which are not shown via image links. I thought it might be necessary to mention that I do not exactly remember how I got it working in SSE, since I originally did have the same issue there. All I think I can remember is possibly adding/changing something in .ini file, but I cannot be certain since I have no backups of the .ini file in it's original form. A mistake on my end for when comes to checking for differences, but the problem has repeated on the Oldrim version of the game. Now this might be what the "head models" are supposed to look like, this is the Oldrim version of the game, but I cannot find any help on this topic concerning this problem anywhere online. Any assistance on this issue (if there is a problem) is appreciated.

  5. Hey guys I’m having an issue with my Ningheim Vampire race. I’ve installed High Poly Head by KouLeifoh and everything seems to work just fine until my Ningheim turns into a vampire. The face becomes all distorted and it’s no longer high Poly. It’s been killing me for months and I’m not sure how to tackle this. More than happy to play around in the Creation Kit or SSEEdit if that is required to fix it. Would appreciate any information whatsoever on this, thanks.

First of all I am very sorry for the length of this post, I just want to supply as much detail as possible to make it easier on the reader so they understand what is going on <3 So before installing High Poly Head for custom races, I would use alternate start to begin as a vampire only to discover the whole face was deformed and not high poly. And her race was set to PlayerRace which is the name of the Ningheim vampire race, along with being flagged for ActorTypeDead which I believe is what allows me to feed. (All important later). Later on in trying to discover a fix someone here told me about High Poly Head for custom races which installed. I downloaded the Ningheim patch and for a moment all seemed to be well and dandy until I discovered my race hadnât actually changed to PlayerRace but was instead just the default Ningheim race with a few abilities of a vampire and was somehow using Dynamic Vampire Appearance. I discovered this whole issue through the Better Vampires MCM which showed she wasnât flagged for ActorTypeDead. She also seems to have sanguinare vampiris in this weird state. In an attempt to remedy this I typed âSetRace NingheimRaceVampireâ into the console so it would force her into the actual race but lo and behold it started doing the same thing it did before I install High Poly for custom races. Her face was all deformed again and it seems High Poly had not been applied to the vampire race. At this point I am figuring all I need done is a vampire high poly head (unsure if it is responsible for vampire teeth) applied to PlayerRace and everything should technically be fine but I am unsure how to go about that. Im in discussion with the mod author of High Poly for custom races at the moment but he almost seems at a loss too. I figured there is a lot of intelligent people on here who really know their stuff and might know whatâs going on. I would really appreciate any help with this but Iâm coming to a conclusion that there will probably always be problems with the Ningheim race. Edit: I have tried changing all the different face parts while as PlayerRace from the original High Poly Mod and the Ningheim High Poly Mod. Swapping between them makes it way worse and it looks like face parts overlap. I can supply an image of this later.   7. Anyone here familiar with changing NPCs in the game? I've been changing all the men in SE to HPH with my own creations. I am about to wrap it up, but I've come across a stumbling block. Cicero. He has three forms in Creation Kit. I have created NPCs with multiple forms before just fine, but Cicero is eluding me. He's not taking any of my meshes/textures at all, not even the hair. Even the hair I can generally get added on, but his face if black with all vanilla assets. I have recreated him several times to no avail. I know I'm not making a mistake in my meshes/textures. I have been over it and over it and over it. I'm wondering if there is some trick to him that I'm missing. Anyone have any ides? Thanks for any feedback.
