Is anyone skilled enough with retexturing to make a mod to add a recolored version of the black vampire hood that Serana wears, to match the reddish-pink armor that Valerica wears? I tried and my creations keep coming up terrible. :sad: Thank you in advance if possible! Edit: I found a mod for the original Skyrim that works perfectly in special edition! So i have this issue when wearing small hoods whit circlets that it clips trough. And i haven't seen a good thin circlet replacer yet (that works whit dawnguard vampires) so if someone is willing to do it i will be very grateful.

When I equip vanilla hoods, such as the mage hood, it instantly crashes. However, hoods added by mods are fine; I equip them, and no crash. Vanilla helmets and such do not cause crashes, it seems to only be hoods. Hello Community! I have come across a few mods with hoods and hair that goes along with it. I am sure that most of you, like myself, hate wearing helmets because our characters hair dissappears? I have come up with a revolutionary solution! I can't pull it off myself though... which is why I came here! I thought it'd be a cool idea to share with you guys! The two mods I came across were made by ZZJay and SydneyB. They were pretty good, I couldn't make anything like that. Anyway- The problem I had with the hoods with hair is... the hair. My character uses a hairstyle that isn't available as well as a 'unique' hair colour, a green-yellow colour. ( Also the hair I'm using is from Apachii Sky Hair ) I thought of a cool way the mod could be created, I had a glimpse at Sydney's Elven Knight Mod and discovered that he/she had made a script for one of the wigs in particular. The script would find the player's hair colour and apply it to the wig. What if we had one wig of hairstyle and the script to give that wig the colour of the hair we are currently using? The wig would be seperate to the hood so that you could have different coloured hoods without making too many of each hood. ( Incase my explaination is terrible; If you made the hood with the hairstyle you would have to make like 54+ of that 1 hood ) I'm very sorry if my explaination is unclear I have never really tried this before. I think this would be amazing- perhaps if someone got the hang of it- or if it isn't hard at all they could not only make a better version of hoods with hairs but they could maybe apply it to ALL the helmets in the Vanilla Skyrim and all of its DLCs, wouldn't that be amazing? To be able to put on a helmet and not look bald? If you read this and you think it's a good idea please help me spread the word! This could be extraordinary! P.S ... I also haven't messaged the Authors themselves because I'm scared that I will irritate them... I have no talent in messing with .nif files, or whatever else would need to be done to accomplish this, but I would go bonkers if someone could make a small mod that just disassembled some of the clothing layers in Skyrim. For example: - Jarl tunics "Noble Clothes" : remove the ridiculous fur collar? - Mantled College Robes: could the mantle part be removed, and maybe the satchel? Would be awesome if the mantles could be worn independently over other robes! - Thalmor Robes: same thing! Can the mantle be removed? I saw a "high collar stand alone" mod that looked interesting, separating hood from collar. Now if only the mantle could go! - Ebony Mail: is it possible to remove the funky metal plate on the chest, to make it more cloth-like? That mesh would rock with a hood if the metal plate didn't clip. - Forsworn and other accessories: small skulls, pouches, bottles, etc. etc., kind of like the Bandoliers Bags & Pouches mod (so very cool!) I just think more modular choices would lead to loads more combination choices for players. The robe mantles would be so great to wear independently with other clothes/armors.

I'm trying to get rid of the fur hoods that guards have because of clipping issues, but I looked and looked and I do not have that mod installed. How is this even posible? I do not have the NorthBorn.esp and cannot find the meshes or textures. Anyone know if he changed the name of the esp? Maybe I have an old version but I've looked and the only posible esp's it could be are..... WVS.esp or well that's it, that's the only esp I can't idenify. Please HELP!

So realistically, worn hoods cast a whole lot of shadows on someone's face. It's often a cool and mysterious effect. It's as if they had a tiny LED light on the inner top of the hood. I'm not a modder, so I don't really know what's the cause nor how to resolve this minor thing. But I just thought it'd be cool addition anyway.

I think it would be nice to have some good looking hoods for some of my companions, like one for Joshua Grahams armor etc. I can't find any hoods that fit my tastes, so it would be nice to have some. Thanks!
