  1. I had an idea for an improved version of the courier duster that uses the riot gear (base not elite or advanced) as the main body. The armor would have several references to the dlc in the game such as adding parts of other armors from the dlcs or adding a subtler nod, like adding a symbol from the dlc or even a playing card in the case of dead money. Most importantly, the user could customize the back of the armor to match their specific faction and whichever faction chosen would have some effect on the armor bonuses. The armored pieces would not remain green and instead could match the color of the base game ncr ranger armor. The trench coat would be dark and could have some subtle references on it. If possible it would be great to have compatibility with Roberts bodies. Thanks!
  2. Hey guys! I'm excited because I think the idea for this is quite simple, but powerful. It's (hopefully) simple enough that if there's not interest, I might try and take it on myself as my first mod project. Here it is in a nutshelll: All weapons/armor (within a class of iron, steel, daedric, etc) NOT created equal Ever looted an Iron Breastplate off a bandit and thought "Sweet. Never need to loot one of these until I "tier" up to steel"? Ever found that first ebony dagger and thought "Awesome. This will basically last me to end game"? No more. All I want to see/find/create(?) is a simple mod that changes Skyrim's armor and weapon values from "fixed" to "dynamic." Meaning, every piece of armor and weaponry in the entire province is no longer mass produced at an industrial forge somewhere. Each item is, in theory, "handcrafted" by a smith somewhere, and while there are lots of VISUAL mods to imply this, every iron dagger, every dwarven helment in the game have the EXACT same armor/damage value! What if there was a random chance that the armor/weapon would "generate" it's values (within a set range for each item "type")upon "poofing" into the world. Thus, if you have an iron dagger with 8 damage...and you see one lying on a table, it might be worth checking it out because, for all you know, it will have a damage rating of 12. And....that's basically it folks! Thoughts? Already exists (I haven't found one)? Thanks! Kell
  3. Hy, hopefully someone can help me. I tried to find a mod to replace the Fallout 4's reticles, because their moslty thin red lines (long range night vision scope) and i can't see where i'm excatly aiming at, with the red "living objects marked" glasses modification. So i asked google and because in more than 1 year noone new did a reticle mod, i found "Zeyphir's" Improved Scope Reticles mod again. Back then, i asked in the commends, if he could cover the mid and long range night vision scopes with his mod too, and although, (because he said hes open for requests) to add another version to his reticles. One where all reticle lines are complete white instead of black and just the middle white AND the buttom line should be in equal length to the side lines. Because that longer line is super irritating me, i always aim higher because of it. But he wasn't online since over a year. I tried messing around with the programm fpexs, to edit the ScopeMenu.swf myself, but holymoly, i have no single clue how to come on a way with it.... Is there anyone who could do that? I rly would appreciate it! :)
  4. Hi everyone! I've got an idea for a mod, but it's certainly not within my skillset right now to make it a thing, so I was wondering if someone out there could possibly help. Not to sound racist, but Giants all look the same! I've seen mods posted to add female Giants, and child Giants, and that's cool, it adds a little diversity, but what I'm looking for is a full overhaul of Giants in Skyrim. Basically, I want Giants to be replaced with giant Nords, complete with different faces from each other. It'd be cool if it was compatable with mods that altered Nords, as well, for consistency with high-quality skin replacers and such. I'd be fine with limiting the hair and beard styles to the more raggedy types, because Giants, but it's just wierd that all the current giants look like 70-year-old men whose souls have been crushed under their own giant feet. I totally wouldn't argue with the inclusion of Giant women and children, as well, for immersions sake. It'd be extra cool if the females were compatible with CBBE or UNP. It'd be AMAZEBALLS if child giants were compatible with RS Children, or whatever. Hell, I don't even care if the Giants look exactly like existing Nord NPCs (just as long as they don't look like each other), but bigger, and dressed like Giants... Please help me realize my dream of a Skyrim where Giants are individuals, and not just big clones of some old guy!
  5. This is rather simple but i have no idea on how to execute, but the base idea is that when hot keying an armor like a helmet and i were to press said hot key i can both enable it and disable it from my character. (So far it only enables clothing but not the other way around which i find annoying  )
  6. So I'm looking for a mod that gives the player a reason to wear clothing instead of armor. In Morrowind this was the case because clothing usually had higher enchantability. I was thinking it would be awesome if clothing had a +1 enchantment possibility (2 instead of 1 enchantment, or 3 instead of 2 with the last enchanting perk). Is there anything like this? So far I've only seen a mod that give clothing a little bit of armor value, which isn't really what I'm looking for. Thanks!
  7. Hello everyone, I am looking for the mod that has enemies drop improved weapons and armor. I know it exists, i just forget what it's called. For example, if I kill a guard, the mod provides a chance that he will drop a (superior) steel sword; or a (fine) long bow. Thanks!
  8. Hello guys and girls! I know its just not me but when I first got the bloodskal blade I was like: "Wow, thats one badass weapon...!" Like 5 seconds later I looked at its effect and was more than disappointed, only 30 points of damage.... I was like: "Get real!" I know that there are some mods out there that does improve the blade but here is my idea. Its effects says: "Releases energy blast with power attacks that deals 30 damage." My effect idea would be a more fair one thats also would not be overpowered in my opinion: "Releases energy blast with power attacks that deals damage equal to its current attack." I dont know if thats possible to manage but I would really appreciate it if someone could create this mod. This also would mean that the bloodskal blade's effect would scale with its level if improvement. For example if I first had a legendary bloodskal blade that deals 200 points of damage per hit, the effect should also deal 200 damage. After I improve it even better it deals for example 300 damage, so the effect should also deal 300 points of damage. Sorry if my explaination istn that good, english is not my main language but I guess you get the point I'm aiming at. Greez, Korrumpiert!
  9. Hi there! I just had an idea (obviously). I noticed in game that certain NPCs (such as Serana) wave their hands around while talking sometimes. Not only does it look like they're trying to be Italian, but it just looks jerky and unnatural. I know there's already a mod for female FACIAL animation, which I've downloaded, but there's none that I can find for their OVERALL animation. Likewise, I'd like there to be a facial animation/overall speaking animation mod for males as well. I know this has probably been discussed before, but it would be great if some willing animators could get on this!
  10. Hearthfire needs a better remodelling option. There should be a way to remove individual wings, instead of having to start over from the entryway. What kind of option is that, anyway?: "Well, I changed my mind on the alchemy lab. Better bulldoze the whole damned thing. Keep the front porch, though." I would say I appreciate that we can start over from the entryway, but I really don't. At the very least, we sould be able to start over from the main hall. Having to undo 90% of your house just to remove one portion of it is ridiculous.
  11. Hey guys, I'm all for the new gunplay system that's seriously improved since 3, however I don't feel it's been given an opportunity to be used to its full potential. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- TL;DR: remake pipe weapon reflex sight, ONE screw, coming up from the bottom, and made narrower. OR A black/glowing dot suspended by some sort of thin wire in the center. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For example the reflex sight for the pipe weapons is absolutely horrible in my opinion. The pipe rifle version has a recoil animation that's absurd to track anything with the stupidly separated screws. As creative as the design is, Bethesda made hitting anything with the pipe weapon reflex sight a total pain and I having zero modding experience let alone the patience to look into doing it myself, I'd like to ask for somebody to redo the sight. I'm not asking for Battlefield or Call of Doody level overhauling. Simply make the sight more practical and easier to use. Perhaps instead of two screws with a much too large gap between, I think a single screw (made slightly narrower) rising up from the bottom to pose as a reticle would be beneficial. Or if you'd like to be even more awesome and show off your epic modding skills, another idea I had was keeping lore friendly, a dot/glowing dot held in suspension by 4 crossed wires. simulating a centered dot. Thanks for taking the time to read this and I hope others agree with this. I know there's many other options for sights but just for the players who have personal preference I think this would be beneficial.
  12. Two very good mods that I figured everyone was using together (Improved Closed Face Helmets + Ebony Armor Reshape) are apparently incompatible. but not incompatchable. Thats where our lovely community comes in  I love y'all currently, equipping an ebony helmet with both mods installed makes the helmet invisible. Now, scrolling through the comments I found an OLD user-made patch on a google drive that no longer works, and is incomplete. he did say it was a quick fabrication, so it should be easy to remake, its just beyond me. The Ebony armor mod offers 4 different varients, and they may have to be patched individually, which I wouldnt expect, so just pick which one you want to do and I wont complain (assuming that anyone is even interested... lol).
