  1. Iâm new to this and I would like to install Skyrim the unofficial Patch special edition on my pc thank you.
  2. I have a problem installing several mods in NMM (AWOP, EVE and some others). Do you know what's the problem or are you dealing the same problem as me? I am new at modding games, so I don't know what's the deal. Edit: SOLVED
  3. i downloaded few mods when i installed it then this showed up "a problem occurred during install: " ps. sorry if this is not right place to this topic
  4. So I'm absolutely upset right now because I think I may have deleted the data in my Nexus Mod Manager folder awhile back by mistake instead of copying it to a separate hard drive. Fortunately, it appears I saved most of the data under the steamapps\Skyrim file extension, where I can see all my mods unpacked and in their (presumably) ready to use state. Is there any hope of using these mods, despite not having the zip file for them? I have a playthrough using about 160 of my 250+ mods accumulated over the last 4 years, and I'd rather not have to track down each one, download them, and figure out how I installed them last time to get them working just right.
  5. Main PROBLEMS OF INSTALLING MODS. If you encounter problems installing mods or engines for working with mods (Patcher, Redirector, Utilities, etc.), then most likely the problem lies in the following: 1) .Net Framework 3.5. Make sure that "Windows .Net Framework 3.5" is installed on your computer or its functions are activated. 2) the files in the Planetbase directory are marked as read-only. The problem many people have with installing the Patcher is that some files in the Planetbase directory are marked read-only. Thus, Mod Patcher (Patcher-1) cannot do its job. The solution is to go into the Planetbase directory, then select everything (both directories and files) and go to "properties". You will see in the properties that the "Attribute" field is marked in black. So click on the box until it's empty (no black checkmark), then click apply, then in the new window, answer "do this for all files and subdirectories". Close "properties" and check again. IF the Attribute field is cleared (read-only unchecked), you can re-apply the Patcher, this time it will work. For those who get black windows when launching Patcher-1, the best thing to do is to uninstall, clear the "planetbase" entry with regedit, and then properly reinstall. Then check the attributes of files and directories for the possibility of overwriting (uncheck "read-only" in the properties) until overwriting is allowed in all folders and files of the game, then you can run Mod Patcher. 3) Addresses of directories and files are not in English. If you do not have a Steam version of the game: if the file location contains letters other than English (for example, Russian letters), experiment with installing the game in another directory without long file addresses and only English letters in the names. 4) Antivirus or operating system settings. Occasionally it happens that an antivirus, some program or operating system interrupts the execution of programs for working with mods. Check your antivirus settings and disable all other programs while patching. Try patching again and make sure the patching process is complete. Perhaps the operating system or some kind of antivirus program is preventing the Patcher from doing its job normally. When opening the file, give all permissions in the operating system, make it run as administrator.
  6. Hello. I am pretty new to this game and modding. I need some help from the community about installing Harmony mod. It seems so simple but I dont seem to get it work, I have found out about this game a long time ago but it didnt catch my interest until I found out about the GoT mod which caught my attention. I then searched for a tutorial on how to install it and it was hella hard. After putting all the files in the right folders I opened Bannerlord but I just dont see the Harmony mod in the Mods section. All GoT addons and files are there but not the Harmony. And yes I put the Bannerlord.Harmony file in the Modules Folder not the Modules file or the 3 containing files in the Bannerlord.Harmony folder. I really dont want to redownload the game cause it already took me aprox. 14 hours with my internet speed. I tried just launching the game with the correct launch order but it doesnt open and I guess cause I dont have the Harmony mod. Was logical for me but it was worth a try. I downloaded the beta e1.7.0 Bannerlord game. ToTsk Mod is also 1.7.0 and of course latest version of Harmony which is on the website. I will appreciate the help :). Thx
  7. Is there some sort of way to just like fully set all settings for a specific game in the mod loader to default? I've tried going into the settings and couldn't find anything. Like I just want to simple just reset all setitngs to default for a specific installation, how do I do that? There has got to be some sort of way to do this, theres no way Nexus overlooked something so simple as a button press.
  8. I downloaded A Storywealth (excellent collection) but have added the mod Puffies and Pointies - Realistic crescent and conical and torpedo shaped breasts of all sizes by TurboCoom. Can somebody please let me know what I need to do to get it to work? I'm a modding noob and I must be stupid because I'm at a complete loss. Thanks for advice and help in advance.
  9. It keeps having trouble conflicts with that files when installing even if the installation is run as adim.
  10. So When I download a mod for Vortex. I get this error: "Windows prevented Vortex from loading files necessary to complete the installation. This is often caused if you extracted Vortex manually instead of running the installer or because your windows setup or third party software modified access permissions for these files. Please install Vortex or unblock all .dll and .exe files manually Name: Error" and then when I click show details I get: File name: 'System.Windows.Forms, Version=6.0.2.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089' at ModInstallerIPC.Program.Main(String[] args) I've unblocked the files in their properties so I know that isnt the issue. How can I go about fixing this?
  11. okay This post is about dragon age ultimate i recently got a custom built pc for fo4 and sse, which came with a c drive (core drive, protected format) and an e drive now when i set up my mod directories for those games, alot of sources seemed to say to keep your game folders and mod folders away from the "protected" drive. which i've done, i also set steam to automatically install games to the E drive, so my games, my mods, mod install, and of course virtual install info go there. however when i try to configure the directories for NMM for dragon age ultimate, it wants me to put my install info and my virtual install on the c drive, yet still suggests the mod files to go on my E drive (this is what i do want) which i just cant seem to grasp why it wants them there, when my game files are downloaded onto my E drive, and i am pretty sure despite my lack of knowledge and experience , that having the files in two separate drives would cause issues let me point i am not experienced, fo4 and sse are my first games that ive ever modded (heavily and successfully), but i am aware that dragon age ultimate *most likely* runs on an entirely different architecture, and fo4 and sse seem very streamlined in terms of modding, 99% of mods can be installed without any issue through NMM, but im guessing dragon age ultimate is a different beast altogether. as such i also have very little experience with manual installations, like ive only ever done very light mods manually, and never attempted anything like patches or merges. if anyone can advice id be very grateful
  12. Okay, my version of NMM no longer has the little blue puzzle looking thing in the upper left. How do we install manual downloads using the next to latest version of NMM?
  13. Hi everyone, I tried to install the following mods (in the attatched file), and I have problems with some of the animations, some of them are not working (like HDT), so I wanted to ask this wonderful community to help me install these mods right. Every solution to make all these mods is welcome. But If someone could give me a full step by step detailed guide to install this I would be really glad. If you need any more details just ask and i'll give it to you. Thanks for helping :)
  14. This noob recruit has been off-n-on overseas since 2003, more on than off and needs help with installing mods for his daughter; however, I love games 2 which were (are) a god-send 2 every1 overseas. My OpSys is Windows 8, not bragging, lol w/ 16 gigs 'o ram, etc......Would love 2 tweak some games to add content, more excitement, diversity, continued playability, and so on.
  15. when installing Nexus mod manager, it was installed in a different folder...i wanted installed the the steam folder, so i moved the folder into the steam folder but now nexus says i do not have the right files in the right folder, so i want to fix it all but i do not know the correct order to put them in...i checked my husbands but his is even more out of order then mine, in fact he has nexus inside nexus inside nexus...it is really confusing... in my os© is games...in games is steam, then from there is a mess....so how is it suppose to go from there, n in what folder does nexus goes in okay in steam are these folders [ appcache, bin, config, controller_base, controller_config, depotcache, dumps, friends, graphics, logs, overwrites, package, public, remoteui, reslists, resource, servers, skins, steam, steamapps, tenfoot, userdata] then in steamapps is [common, downloading, sourcemods, app..] then in common is nexus mod manager, skyrim, n skyrim mods so i have no idea what is next...lol, can anyone help me, n tell me what goes inside the skyrim folder n in as well as nexus mod manager n then in what order
  16. Hey guys and gals sorry for the weird question but is there a way for me to transfer my mods from my original PC to my new one with nexus mod manager using the same account? as opposed to re-installing each one?? almost like a sync contacts action. If you have any help it would be much appreciated thank you for your time.
  17. Alright heres the problem: I am VERY limited on my main HDD, Memory wise. I have a 30gb ssd with my os and other essentials on there. I only have about 1.76gb of free space. When ever i install a large mod, like immersive armours, that space drains as its installing. The green install bar moves maybe an inch across the screen before i get a sevenzip error. I was watching my space on the ssd drain as this mod installed, then when it failed, all the space would come back. Now i know these a temp files that are taking up all the space. My question is: Is there a way to have EVERYTHING that has to do with nexus mod manager stay on one hdd.? I have a 500gb hdd for everything else(Games, programs, etc.) and would like the temp files go there instead of on my limited ssd. Any help will be grateful. Cheers.
  18. So I have downloaded around 25 or so mods lately, and have not had any problems. Been using the Nexus Mod MAnager for most of them as I have no idea what to do when downloading manually. Well today I have downloaded around 6 or so using the Manager, and after they are finished downloading, nothing happens. They don't appear in my list of mods, or anything. and even if I start up Skyrim, they don't appear in teh data files thing. Am I doing something wrong?
  19. Is there any way to install more than one mod? Specifically, I'd like to install the following two mods: IEMod Level Cap Increaser AND Killing EXP Multified However, both mods modify the assembly-csharp.dll file. Is there any way to do this? Or are we relegated to playing with one mod at a time?

  21. Installing Modkit 3.1. The PDF manual says "run set up and follow the instructions." Yeah, right. Thanks a bunch. Please: can anyone just tell me the exact folder location to choose for Modkit in the setup process? Modkit has a folder structure similar to W3 but I can't for the life of me understand exactly where to point the installer but I am assuming it is a Witcher directory rather than sticking in Program Files (shudders). It seems to be the one thing that modders know, but it is not written down anywhere! And I don't want to pills-up my game by installing it in the wrong place. :geek: BTW - my game is not on C or in Program Files, before anyone asks... Thank you!
  22. Today, I was installing a version of Office on my computer, after I finished I decided to turn off the computer for a while. After a long day, I turned it on again, when I started loading my game I got the message "this game has objects that are no longer available, do you want to continue?" I said yes When I loaded the game, I no longer had any of the amulets and spells of my mods. I again tried to install them through the mod manager links, when I reloaded the game, it was still the same, without my amulets and without the spells of the mods. Can someone help me please?
  23. Recently I've upgraded my set up and have decided to start installing mods on Fallout 4 as my old set up struggled to do so. I've always modded the likes of Skyrim, New Vegas, Fallout 3 and Oblivion. So I'm not really new to the world of modding. However the issue at hand is every time I try to install a weapon mod through the mod manager it doesn't turn up in game at all whether it's in the console or in the world. I've successfully installed multiple other mods such as the pip-pad, improved map etc. I'm just wondering if some how I'm missing a step in installing these specific mods or if there's an ongoing issue? thank you.
  24. OK, OK, I am a naughty boy, I've ripped the arrow out of my knee. I am using MO2 to mod Skyrim SE. Does anyone know how to get MO2 to recognise FOMODs? I get an error code 1, game unrecognised. The origin is likely to be the NCC files inside MO2, they are an older NMM set because Tannin I think didn't update them when he stopped working on MO2. Anyone please have a nifty workaround? Yes, I've been repackaging the mods, but it would be nice to fix this little issue. Thank you in anticipation of help!
  25. I just have a quick question about adding in certain mods mid-playthrough. Obviously, adding in content during a playthrough isn't as much of a risk as removing content but I know adding certain things will still cause problems. What I want to do is add a simple weapon mod, I know just adding in a weapon usually won't cause many issues but my question is can I add it to NPCs using TES5Edit without causing problems? Its kind of an OP weapon so I don't want to be the only one to have it, ya know? I want to still be challenged. So what I wanna do is just add it to the leveled lists of certain NPCs like some of the Imperials, Stormcloaks, and maybe some bandits. I don't think it would cause problems but I'm not positive so I figured it'd be best to ask about it here.
