  1. Hello all, While speaking to Glathriel from the Interesting NPCs mod, I should get a dialogue topic to start a quest to retrieve her bow. Later on I should get some more info on finding her mother and a little quest as well. Anyone who can help? Modlist included.
  2. E.g. Do the marriageable characters from the mod recognize adoption etc?
  3. I have a problem while running Interesting NPCs and EFF together. Whenever I recruit a follower from Interesting NPCs, I am presented with two options of "Follow me, I need your help". One of the options will lead to the EFF menu opening when I speak with the follower again, while the other goes with the vanilla Skyrim system. Side Note: No vanilla voices are actually being spoke by the follower; just subtitles. When talking with followers, every command in my player dialogue choices are listed twice. For example, I will have two options of "I need to trade some things with you". Side Note: Sometimes the wording may be slightly different between the two. One option will bring the Interesting NPC's recorded dialogue, while the other will have the vanilla dialogue in subtitles at the bottom (Yes I have subtitles on). Both of these options will work, but I prefer to eliminate the unwanted vanilla dialogue options, as they are very annoying. I do have the Interesting NPCs and EFF patch installed. Anybody seen or heard of this before, anybody know a potential solution?? Thanks for the help :)
  4. When I try to run the NMM application, it brings up the game select window like normal, but when I click Skyrim and "Okay", it starts loading but won't finish. I just updated it. Also, I've been trying unsucessfully to load Interesting NPCs after having uninstalled it. I don't know if that's related, but I figured it was worth mentioning.
  5. Hi, I am returning to Skyrim after a few months break and had to reinstall the game. I went to the Riverwood Inn and one of the NPCs from the Interesting NPCs mod was there, but he had no audio. I checked the Nexus for updates to the mod and installed them but I think I did it incorrectly and would appreciate any advice on how to do it correctly as I haven't really ever updated my mods before. I activated the update file and clicked "No" when overwriting and then "Yes to all" to overwriting the specific things as advised on the mod page. There are 2 of that NPC now, one of them works fine and has audio but the other doesn't. So I've obviously done something wrong. I have attached a picture of what the NMM says. Thanks for any help! [i realise I could probably delete the entire mod and reinstall, but it is a big download and I have limited downloads available to me. The problem is probably a simple fix, but I don't want to go fiddling around with it any more than I already have cause at least one of the NPCs is working correctly, and I have limited knowledge with modding and I don't want to mess it up further.   6. Sorry if I posted this wrong or something, this is the first time I've posted on the nexus forums. I downloaded Interesting NPCs on the Nexus a while ago and it's been bothering me ever since. I absolutely hate this mod. IT'S AWFUL. Anyways, I tried to uninstall it with the NMM (which is what I used to install it as well) and then tried to start Skyrim (SKSE). It CTDs just after the Bethesda logo, not even letting me start a new game that hasn't had the mod in it at all. This mod takes around 10 mins for me to install/uninstall and it's getting on my nerves. On the Interesting NPCs description (at the very bottom) it says how to uninstall, which I followed with NMM, but obviously something went wrong. I've heard other people have the same problem. I've played 400+ hrs on Skyrim and I don't want to lose all of it because of this horrible mod. Does anyone actually have a solution to this? I really want to uninstall this mod! Thanks!
  7. I'm having trouble with ASIS and my bashed patch. If I run sum when 3DNPC.esp is active and then run tesvedit I get errors with sum.esp regarding something like darksteal stuff from 3dnpc.esp. This happens even though I have 3dnpc.esp in my blocklists.txt for ASIS. The next problem is that if I disable 3dnpc.esp I then have to redo my bashed patch. When I do however, it re-enables it and if I hide the esp with MO then the bashed batch still has it as a missing master file after I redo do it. So, anyone know why this is happening? I keep disabling all my 3dnpc patches along with the esp itself. Also do I need my bashed patch enabled to run my skyproc patches? I'd assume if I disabled it the patches would miss out on all that it does. And if anyone knows why ASIS keeps adding stuff as masters when they are blocked that what be good to know. Same thing happens with everything else that's blocked including things I've added to all the exclusions in all the ini files. Also, I think it's related but I'm not sure, A few of my esps get confused with the master files i.e. I have to sort masters with tesvedit for sum each time I patch, and a few others had to be sorted (they didn't have missing masters or anything just thought that some or all my esms were in a different order even though they had't been touched). -Edit Here are the errors that show after loading everything with tevedit: And this is what is the result of 'check for errors' for sum.esp:
  8. I have had interesting npcs installed for about a year now and it has always worked fine through vanilla, Requiem, SkyRe. Now I have noticed that since I installed Perkus Maxamus non of the voiced dialog from the mod has been playing. Is this a known problem between the two mods that I neglected to notice when setting up PerMa or some other mod that could conflict with spoken dialog? Might it be some common bug native to interesting npcs that has cropped up? I figured I'd ask before trying to unload all my mods to start testing one by one for the problem. If you have any advise I'd be grateful for it. Thanks.
  9. I've posted on the Interesting NPC site about this, but it seems less busy so I'll ask here too: The 'Stolen Property' Quest will not update. Vardath said to get merchant or farmer clothing and meet him at the Solitude Docks, but he remains in the Silverblood Inn. I’ve tried everything I can think of to progress this. I’m at Stage 50. If I manually move him to me via the console (moveto player) he has no dialogue. I’ve tried wearing different outfits, tried setting different stages, and nothing. It’s like the quest isn’t running at all. Everything else about Interesting NPC's works fine though. Help! Load Order:
  10. Tried changing one of the NPC's hair to Apachii, but I end up screwing things up. Vanilla NPC's hasn't been any problems fiddling the hair with via the CK, adding or changing apachii hair and saving with the hairstyles.esp as active plugin. But on NPC's that comes with mods? Whole different matter. Can someone create a plugin "Apachi Sky Hair Overhaul for Interesting NPC's"? If someone does, please give Jade the same apachii hair as Camilla Valerius in Riverwood and in the colour auburn. :) Think it was Apachii nr 29. Can't check right now since I'm reinstalling atm after screwing up too much altering stuff in CK.

  12. Hey guys, I am having a problem with followers. The Vanilla NPCs such as Lydia, those from the Companions, etc. can follow me as requested, yet NPCs like Zora and Tikrid can't. They keep saying I already have a follower with me even though I'm sure I don't. I have tried the "set playerfollowercount to 0" and it doesn't work. I have tried reloading, resetting the game, waiting for 3 days and everything else that I know of but nothing seems to work either. Does anyone happen to encounter this issue? And does anyone have an idea how to fix it? Please help. Also, I have installed ATF too, just so you know. Thank you for your time.
  13. So I downloaded the above-mentioned mod and read the wiki in case I miss an NPC in each hold. I saw that on Cassius' article it said he only appears in Fort Greymoor if it's overrun by bandits. Unfortunately for some reason, even though I only cleared out the fort once in the beginning of the game and never even chose a side in the war, the fort is now under imperial control so he doesn't spawn. Is there a way to make the fort bandit controlled again? Because I'm kind of disappointed I won't be able to do his quest. It's kind of dumb that you can miss a part of the mod because of something you did ages ago. How was I supposed to know?
  14. Hello friends, I have been having a great time getting back in modding recently and I am not quite sure that is a good things as my backlog of games is increasing ever so slightly. I even bought a few more games during the fall Steam sale. Check out Low Magic Age by the way --game shows great potential if you're a fan of DnD. Anyhow, I am happy to report that everything has gone smoothly after following the Nordic Skyrim guide except for one hiccup, 3DNPC. Now I have downloaded all the patches I could find but it keeps CTDing. I tried running it through SSEEdit but and while there were some conflicts in worldspace, the issue persisted even after disabling the conflicting mods. The issue occurs when I get near Riverwood or when I start LAL as an Alchemist. Haven't tests other instances (sorry it took me a lot of time and frustration until I found the source of my CTDs). It works fine as long as I don't get near Riverwood.   15. Hello, everyone! Recently I've installed (or at least, attempted to) the Interesting NPCs mod. However, at Skyrim's launch screen, once I press "play", it crashes/ doesn't play at all. I've tried to activate the mod in-game also, but it crashes once I do that, too. I only have one other mod installed, which I will list down below. I've been stuck trying to figure this out for about a few hours now. I even tried to install it manually, but even that didn't help! :sad: I would really appreciate it if one of you could help me.   16. Hello, and well, i have a problem. first some npcs like Duraz and that hobo who thinks (maybe he is) is rich, dind´t have voices. So i follow the sugestion in the faq on the website of interesting npcs, and make a manual instalation (i did something with the Nexus a long time ago) before it was Interesting npcs in the Nexus. But then i tried to play it, and because i am dumb, i think i have two mod files, on the nexus and inside the Skyrim folder. And after i disabled the Nexus one, the voices come back, but the logs after completions of the two quests i did for some npcs (like the Anum – La one and the conspiracy of the 7000 steps are gone. Now they act like i only meet them now but not before.
  17. I have two questions regarding ASIS, help with either or both would be brilliant. 1. When I load my mods in tesvedit I get the following errors: And when I check sum.esp for errors I get this: With 3dpcs and all patches for it disabled before running sum I get none of those errors but when I check sum.esp for errors I get these: 2. Does anyone know if I have my ini files set up correctly for ASIS? Blocked mods seem to still get added as masters and I'm not sure if I have the right things blocked etc. I have copied each additional bit from the SkyRe ASIS ini files found here and the Sands of time ones from here. I've also added some mods to the blocked list and to the spell inclusions. I disable sands of time and its patches before reproccing so I haven't added any of the sands of time ini edits because some of them make asis not patch correctly and it still gets added as a master. I was also thinking these might help but I'm not sure. - Edit Tried not merging them with Sum to see which specific things are throwing the errors and I got this: Sorry, I was positive that it was ASIS but I should have not merged the patches for troubleshooting and posted this in the beginning.

  19. I have no idea why, but every NPC from this mod just disappeared... It happened long time ago, when I had Arghus as a follower, and he vanished when going out from a dungeon. I couldn't find him in the locations where he should be, but I thought that was a minor incident and nothing was wrong. Now, I'm looking for any other NPC from this mod and I can't find any, no matter where I look for them. halp pls. I would like to mention that I've unistalled and reintalled ALL my mods for optimization purpouses a while ago.   21. interesting npcs seems to not like me. literally my only mod is interesting npcs, and for some reason once the bethesda logo thing ends it immediately crashes to desktop i tried running the launcher and tesv.exe in compatibility mode for windows 7, i tried making it run as administrator yet somehow, the game refuses to work for me when i have this mod enabled the game works if i dont have it enabled i even disabled autosaves and it still crashed
  22. So no doubt by now everyone who's been modding up their Skyrim has run into this bug on occasion. The black face bug. Where an NPCs face goes black. This is caused, from my understanding, by a conflict between mods modifying the same character. Well I have been going through all my mods, that I believe could modify this character, and haven't been able to pinpoint it. I would go through each mod one by one, but that would be excruciatingly time consuming, for a minor though funny and lovable character.
  23. Howdy peeps. I'm having trouble with Rumarin. I really like the character; unfortunately he's been infected with the blackface bug. I have tried disabling all of the mods that I could find in my load order that "might" affect him, but have had no luck in this regard. I have posted two pictures containing my load order on my nexus profile if anyone would care to have a look and see what I may be missing. I know Skyrim hair replacer affects him, giving him much nicer hair, but even taking that one off he's still distorted. I appreciate any help!
