  1. Hello guys, I think its unfortunate that the dragonborn can no longer enter the island Japhets Folly after the quest Rise in the East. My idea: The dragonborn can also visit Japhet's Folly after completing Rise in the East via the Windhelm Docks or any other location. After completing the quest, the island will be in the hands of the Imperial Army or East Empire Company. There is a trader and mercenaries/soldiers who complain about the arduous service in this remote, lonely place. Maybe this is an inspiration for someone :)

Hi together, I hope someone would be able to help us to get the new Island in the New World 2 times (we wanted to start coop again today) I would have passed on the island but there is a monument just available if you have this particular Island. So my request is obvious :). We have already tried it on our own but the Map Editior can't read the file. Thank you in advance!!!
  3. So, I got this killer idea. Wouldn't it be cool to be able to have the entire Sanctuary island as a settlement? I'm currently building a large settlement there, and frankly, I'm loosing space for the ideas that i have for the place. I don't have the slightest idea of how to mod, so if any of you guys like the idea and know to mod, please make this happen! I bet that it isn't THAT hard to code... Thanks! :laugh:
  4. Probably way too complicated without CK, don't even know if possible with CK. Spectacle Island attacks are not immersive as the enemies are just spawned onto the island; there is no indication of how they got there. Requesting a mod that spawns a shored transport vehicle along with the random settlement attack event. The enemies always spawn at the same location so the vehicle just needs to spawn on that corner. After fast traveling/sleeping/resetting the cell, the vehicle should disappear. Ideally the vehicle would correspond to the enemy faction (landed vertibird for BOS, boat for gunners/raiders, wooden rafts for super mutants, none needed for teleporting synths); if not possible then one universal vehicle (wooden raft most neutral)
  5. Hello M80s! No, I'm not going to coninue using Comic Sans, it's OK. Alright, so I'm making a sick new mod and I haven't thought anything about it. I have absolutely no experience with modelling, so I've relied heavily upon other people's mod resources (Possibly big mistake as I don't remember who created what) and I haven't really tried with making textures but, like, I've fiddled around with stuff here and there. Still don't see myself creating beautiful 4K textures any time soon. With all that shix out of the way, let's begin. Here is the stuff I've done: Downloaded other people's models and texuresCreated a new worldspace named Mitani Do Mangai (Yoku* for Islands of Life)Made 2 islandsThe smaller island has part of a shipwreck and a small shelter on it, possibly shipwreck survivorsThe larger island will have jungle and a cave with an underground springThe larger island will also have animal life on it *Yoku is the ancestral language of the Redguards. I might continue updating this thread as I progress but I'll probably forget. **EDIT: I almost forgot, with this landmass I'm making I'm gonna need to make some buildings suitable to the surrounding area. I will attempt to make this myself. *UPDATE I* I've finished placing vegetation on the second island. There's also a cave which leads to some Akaviri ruins with a waterfall. That's the first dungeon that I've actually completed in my history of owning CK.

Here is the pitch : Skeppsgrott is a very beautiful worked island, with several parts already made : a military harbour, a guard fortress, a large farm, a marine carpenter, a commercial harbour, a sunny city, a dwemer forgotten enchanting room, a large cave with tavern, chaurus tamer, forge another very beautiful cave in the style of Blackreach but very smaller and with npc. For now, there are like 40 books that explain the History and lore of the Island, and it is lore-friendly. There are around 40 npc but I plan around 90 on the whole island. There is also a small but hard dungeon, like 40 interiors of vrious sizes. It is kinda good. BUT, and this is where the point begins, I whish I could find someone who's willing to help me implement cool functionnalities such as : -gaining control on the island step by step, working on quests for the various factions of Skeppsgrött -being able to add followers to various factions on the island, talking to some NPC -being able to start a game as a Skeppsgrotter -being able to make repeatable battles by sea (as Skeppsgrott has strong navy) => ship to boarded ship fight, raid on coastal villages... -being able to conquer the cities of Skyrim in the name of Skeppsgrott, i'm pretty sure it's doable using civil war quests. I have much more idead but for now let's see if anyone is interested here. thanks for reading mates.

Struggling, three Atmorans, all contributing part of their name to the island they saw in the distance from Atmora, decided to take refuge on the huge, icy rock. They gathered an entire city of Atmorans, and set off on longboats to the island today known as Hjermskiir. When they arrive, they discover a unique Elven race, similar to that of the Chimer, possibly also blessed by Azura, but in a different way. These feral mer lived isolated on this island for eras until the Atmoran tribe, who named themselves 'The Hjern' arrived on the island. The effects of the cold only partially affected Hjermskiir over time, and along with the climate changes of the island, the Atmorans changed. First it was Hjer, one of the three Atmoran leaders. He grew horns, unlike what any Atmoran had ever seen. Then Skiir did. Then everyone else did. Over time and time of adaption, these changes occured, forming what could be named a new race. A direct descendant of Skiir, known as Yngvil, is now the chairman of a new order over the island, the Miphorchatzin. For a modest sum of money, his strong, advanced warriors protect each city and village from the tradgic adaptions of some of the Hjern males, known as the Hjern Kings. These Hjern Kings are huge, feral creatures, shaped like man, yet much larger. This uprising of the Miphorchatzin has helped lead a civilized, regular economy, and the island of Hjermskiir is born. What is Hjermskiir? Hjermskiir is an island, shortly off the coast of Atmora.   11. Hey, im making a new land mod and im having some issues with the wildlife. My land is all an island, and so it is fully surrounded by water. The problem im having is that the animals keep running off into the water, regardless of if I pursue them or not. I also have a graveyard/crypt type area, and it looks a bit stupid if there are loads of deer in there, as its supposed to be evil. Im asking if anyone knows a way in order to make a sort of invisible barrier so deers, rabbits and foxes etc cannot run into there. Is there some kind of marker, or is there no way to do it? Im open to all help that you give me, as this can get quite annoying Thanks Will :)

  13. I was just thinking and thought about all the mods that add a enitrely new story to skyrim. Also I thought about the mods that add modern like objects(cars, machines, and weapons). And I thought what if skyrim enter a new era after alduin was destroyed, and you hear of like a new island where new machinery has been created. So you travel their only to find a mix culture of Nordic and modern civilization. If you seen Avatar:The Last Airbender and The Legend OF Korra, think of that kind of transition. The Guards carry like guns or like steampunk like weapons. Instead of Carriages, you use trains. I understand that skyrim has limits but I think modders can pull a steampunk story and island off. Just a thought....

Ahem , so me and a few others (myself and I) began writing the ideas and such for this mod a while ago, it's now a fully developed story line Yeah, yeah I know , and before you ask no , I'm not looking for a cookie. HOWEVER I do need people , because I only have two arms and 24 hours in a day, well actually it's 23 hours 56 minutes and a few spare seconds. But science is boring so who cares. Random information people won't read. The jist of Things - A new "exciting" island to visit (or get miserably trapped on , but what do you care right?) - A 2 path story line, involving time travel, interdimensional portals, and pretty colors - did I mention time travel? - interesting new characters for you to ignore - a never ending rainstorm - a huge dark cult - a mysterious guy from a different universe - A lot of dead guys - A huge abandoned castle - a lot of made up names - free candy? maybe that'll do the trick - Oh and did I mention there's time travel ? people love that stuff -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you're still here congrats I need level designers and scripters.   16. I would love to have a Prydwen as a craftable settlement piece, mostly for the Island nation I'm making on the Spectacle Island. Already have a Vault there thanks to the Vault mod, only thing I reall and hoping to have left is the airship or boats in general to act as a mock transport(static, just for show). Eitherway, if anyone knows how to work this, please let me know because that would be epic.

Nixxa Island - A Dragonborn Dream is a mod I've been working on for the past 6 months with a team of 4 talented people. However, the time has come to ask for help in making this mod come to fruition. So what is Nixxa Island? Nixxa Island is a small DLC sized mod where Sheogorath invades the mind of the DB. The mod takes place entirely inside the mind of the Dragonborn on an archipelago somewhere near Akavir. The island features two opposing sides that serve to reflect the Dragonborn's troubled mind. The story involves searching and finding Sheogorath's Dream Book, a book which is powerful enough to transform the subconscious mind into the conscious one. However, the Dream Book isn't easy to get ahold of, and with all those that wish to protect the Island from the impending doom that looms over the cities of Unsung and Rubee, it [the Dream Book] is also hard to keep hold of. So what am I asking for? Nixxa Island is looking for mesh and texture artists, a person that is experienced with papyrus scripting, and talented voice actors/actresses to help speed along the project and get a stable beta release within the year.
