okay, so I'm just gonna throw some s#*! at you guys and see what you have to say about it. Ive finally managed to get Skyrim to run with all of my mods, and I've even almost gotten rid of CTD's and freezes. But there is this one remaining problem that i cannot quite seem to figure out. So when i started my play through, i used the script latency tool provided in the MCM for Convenient Horses, and it showed my script Latency to be 22 ms. About 5 hours into my play through, it showed my latency to be 42 ms. Now, i am 10 hours into my play through, and my latency is up to 61 ms. What causes this? what can i do about it? As of right now, this slow and steady decay of script latency is my only obstacle for a stable heavily modded skyrim.

Hello and sorry for bothering you. I've been preparing/modding my game for one last, complete, playthrough for some time now. I have finally decided on all the mods that I want to use for it. And tried to stabilize the game. So far it's almost fine. I've tested most of my mods to see if they work and it seems fine. The fps is acceptable most of the time as well. The problem now is the scripts. I've already removed multiple mods with scripts from my final mod-list. The script load decreased but not by much. And I don't know how to resolve the problem without removing some of the mods I would like to keep the most. I'm using the function included in Convenient horses to measure the script latency. When outside it's around 50-80 ms half of the time and then suddenly for no good reason it spikes up to 100-300 ms. and then gets back down. When in interiors it's better. It still spikes up sometimes but it's much rarer. The worst is in towns like Riverwood for example where the reading never goes below 150. Ps. If you see any other problems in my mod list, inis, please do tell. I tested and researched all my mods but I didn't test them too far as I didn't wish to spoil my next playthrough. My laptop specs: Processor Intel® Core i3-4005U CPU @ 1.70GHz Video Card NVIDIA GeForce 920M RAM 12 GB Operating System Microsoft Windows 10 (build 14393), 64-bit My modlist(using MO): https://modwat.ch/u/Peindora The mod list link seems to have a problem. I checked it out and for some reason it seems to add a space to the link every time that you click on it. Solution: After clicking on the link go to the adress bar and delete the space ^^;

Alright Im not computer savvy... but recently I've been getting this message in the left corner of my screen in skyrim... it says OnUpdate latency Avg [numbers] Min [numbers] Max [numbers]... in the barracks there are numbers and they are pretty large numbers (10,000+ ) I uninstalled the mods I thought would be causing it but still the same, I even uninstalled the mods the day before it started this, this is the first time this has happened with me, was wondering if anyone else encounter this before and what they did to fix it.

Hi, this is my first post on this forum (so I hope I do everything right) (Sorry if I spell anything wrong as well). Basically, I have a problem, but I'm not sure what is causing it. I'm running on what I'm told is a low end machine (everything is above minimum spec, but my graphics card is below reccomended). I've had Skyrim for a week or so and played for a couple of hours. I have downloaded maybe 40 or so mods, some that only do little things and some larger ones, and some that I thought were supposed to improve lag like FPS limiter. I don't have any graphics mods, apart from Realistic Lighting Overhall. I have my settings on medium (ish) I think, in case that's important. I've not noticed much visible lag, only in a few areas. But I think something is causing lag or something, I don't really know that much about these sorts of things. It first became apparent to me through Frostfall because it kept telling me that the script was running too slow or something (I can't remember the exact phrasing.) After that I did a 'latency test' through Convenient Horses I think (I don't even know what it means) and it came out above 200 if I remember correctly. What does this mean? I've looked online and cant find much apart from it can be down to bloated save files, don't I'm certain that can't be the reason in my case because my safe file only has maybe four hours at the most put into it. I run the game through the SKSE thing and I've noticed that when I close the game it has a notice saying something like it failed to initiaze render or something. I don't know what that means either? So I don't have a clue what I've done wrong basically. Or if my computer just can't cope with the game or if it's a mod issue or what. Any help is appreictaed. Thanks :)

I posted a similar thread on Bethesda's forum already, but I couldn't find any answers. Since this is the modding forum, hopefully I can find people with a bit more knowledge here. I'm just going to paste 2 of my posts from that thread. Only difference is that I have enabled the FPS limiter from ENBoost and have set the limit to 60 FPS. I am still on v1.2.37.
