A mod that allows realistic book reading, compatible with language translation patches and the touring carriages mod, would be worth gold for nerds like me who love reading books with views and long roads. Instead of a blur effect in the background and a book floating in the middle of the screen, A book that can be held with both hands on the right and left sides, and which follows the center point like a weapon when you turn the screen would be better. So I wouldn't miss any mountain sight. Even if it wasn't that detailed, it would be great if there were at least hands on the left and right and the blurry effect in the background was gone.
  4. Hi everyone, I have been a part of the modding community for quite a while now as a mod user not a creator, but I have a idea for a mod that is personal in origin. A little background behind my idea first. I've played a lot of online and single player games in my life most of which I choose to have a dog at my side. Like Fallout 4 with Dogmeat or Skyrim with Meeko or Vigilance. It makes the game more complete to me in a way since I have had a dog my whole life as far back as I can remember. The death of River (aka Dogmeat) brought in to focus how short their lives can be and brought up the idea I am stuck on where to begin on. I have three dogs that I love deeply and would like to put them in game as a way to remember them and possibly share them with others later on. They are two husky shepherd mixes siblings and a husky/shepherd/pit mix. The husky/shepherd/pit is our oldest dog at 7 years old and is actually my husbands dog more than mine so this is for him too. I know the model for huskies is in game already I just don't know anything about making a mod. I know they won't be exact matches, but something as close to their looks as possible would be enough for me. I look at Meeko and Vigilance Reborn mods by Vaelka(BluePianoTwo) as what is possible with a mod like this. I'm not asking for something extremely complicated just a mod I can have as a way to remember them with. I don't know how to put it without sounding bossy or like I expect some reward winning mod. I hope whoever reads this understands what I am trying to say. I come to you all looking for help to make this mod a reality. I have never used any tools to make anything. My experience is limited use of bodyslide and using tes5edit a little bit. I don't play SSE so it would have to be on LE or at least backported to it. I would be on SSE if my computer would run it better, but that is not the case at the moment. Would anyone out there be willing to make or help make this mod? I put pictures of my dogs down below hopefully it works right. Left to right: Aurora, Orion, and Lexi. Aurora and Orion are siblings from two different litters and Lexi is the oldest from different parents I mentioned above. Thank you for your time and patience to read all of that.   5. I am trying to remove the extra loot screen for legendary item drops. Looting a legendary should be just like looting anything else so that you don't have to spam the E key to continue playing. Most legendaries that drop for me are trash anyway.
  6. Hi :) I came across a fantastic mod recently that was released in 2017 that lets Serana transform into a Vampire Lord in combat under certain conditions called "Vampire Lord Serana". It works really well and seems to have way fewer bug reports than a similar mod (Serana Secret) released in 2012, which the author seems to have stopped updating a long time ago. The main difference is with, Vampire Lord Serana, Serana chooses to transform in and out of Vampire Lord form regardless of whether the player character is transformed or not, whereas with Secret Serena, she turns according to the player. The author of Vampire Lord Serana is not supporting the mod or making changes to it but has given permission to anyone who wishes to adjust it to do so, on condition they are given credit. I was wondering if anyone out there would be willing and able to add an optional feature to Vampire Lord Serana (the more recent mod) that causes her to transform into Lord form and stay in it if the player does so as well without her turning back to 'normal form' once combat ends, keeping literally everything else the same and not breaking anything. The mod is so fun and one of my favourites but I just wish it was a little more customisable. I use it in combination with Queen of the Damned Deadlier Serana so she uses the Vampire Lord spells from there and together they make Serana one scary Vampire! So I'm not asking to add extra Vampire Lord spells to the mod (like Serana Secret does) since I already have that from QotD. I still play the Legendary Edition so am primarily hoping for tweaks to that, but also SE for those who play it. I'm actually trying to merge the shell texturing of a cloth (which have fur, but is low-poly) and a high-poly cloth with NifSkope I know i can use TES5edit scripts to "mass edit" (batch process) meshes, so i was wondering if i could code something that copy it automatically. Basically i need to copy these Fur.00x branches and paste in the "Scene Root" of another NIF with the same name but in another folder Next image is the highpoly mentioned before No need to be a complicated code, i can figure out how to code it but i need somone to explain me the part to copy a specific branch inside scene root to another file

Does anyone here know why some Legendary items (ex: Wildman's Clothes) can be added to inventory via the console with their Legendary properties intact, whereas others (such as the Apolcalypse Armor and legendary items created via the method in your tutorial) will appear in your inventory sans their Legendary properties?
  9. Hi all, hopefully this is the right forum for this. I was wondering if there is a way to make "A Serious Wedding - Teldryn Sero" and "Marriage Mod - To Have And To Hold" compatible with each other? Whenever I use them together I get a miscellaneous quest pop up in my log saying "Speak to [...] during reception". It won't go away and it pops no matter which I have after the other in load order. I don't know how to do anything like this or if it is even possible to make a patch for it. I took "A Serious Wedding - Teldryn Sero" because of this issue otherwise I would still be using it and his story quest mod.   11. Hi there lovely fallout 4 modders! I'm looking for a mod that makes it possible that legendary enemies in fallout 4 droping items with random two legendary modifications! Crafting on armor or weapons two stats isn't that immersive i think. So the fun is to farm and hope for a lucky drop is pure fun i think. Maybe you know mods that are able to do such a magic thing or even inspire you to code one. One year ago, i installed some mods and the result was that legendary enemies dropped weapons and armor pieces with random two modifications. Now, I can't find the combination or the right mod to do so. Sorry, for my bad english. I'm still learning. Thank you 4 your time and have a good day!

Just something that have been bothering me for a long time now, and i believe other people too, i just think is frustrating that when i play a character that i like to craft every item that i use, and i am limited by rarity, for a example there is a piece of clothing that i think is cool, but it is of rare rarity, and that limits the number o slots for mods for that piece, which kinda forces you to craft legendary clothes so you have more slots. What i am asking here is for a mod that puts in the game a legendary blueprint version of every single piece of clothing, i already know that there is a mod on nexus that turns any item you have into legendary, but i don't think it is as satisfying/immersive than creating your own stuff, at least for me that spend levels on the TECHNICAL ABILITY Crafting tree and is limited on what i think looks better VS mods slots and more armor. Sorry my english, Thanks for reading.
  13. I was looking at the most recent released mods yesterday and saw one called "delphines dog fallout pet". I play Fallout 4 a lot and Dogmeat is one of my favorites to travel with on there so I planned on downloading this mod for skyrim.   14. If this is already a mod or in the game and I'm just unaware, then apologies. I just recently found out there are sets of armor in cyberpunk based off of the tabletop roles like solo, netrunner, media, badge, etc. I also realized there's no disassembly protection tied to them or the ability to recraft them. Because of that I'd like to suggest a mod that makes them iconic and/or craftable once picked up so that they aren't gone forever if you take them apart.   15. I had multiple combat rifles with different legendary effects on and I wanted to find a mod to put all the effects on the same weapon. Is there a mod that will let me do this, google hasn't been very helpful.
  16. Hi, can somebody help me with that? Make it or give me some advice how to make it? Every darker night mod is either too dark, or it just overrides my favorite Revamped Exterior Fog mod effects. So i would like to have something scripted or else. That doesn't require to be a standard plugin file. Also i would like it to change gamma setting only, no weather setting whatsoever. I use 1.2 gamma as standard and i would like to see gamma 1.7 at night (i don't know why, byt the higher the number, the darkeg it gets in skyrim, weird it should be the other way around...). 1.7 looks just ideal, reallistic but not too dark. It doesn't have to be necessarily a script, im just green about making skyrim mods. PS: i REALLY would love it to be done by gamma controll, because it just looks right! I don't really care about the menu and all the other things going darker for the night as well.
  17. Hey Guys. I start again playing Skyrim SE with complete new Mods, but i missed one. With this Mod i can upgrade my weapons unlimited. By Smithing you could increased the legendary upgrade unlimited and make your weapons with every improvement a little bit better. I´m a noob in english, but hope you understand me :D I forgot how this mods was called, but it was a must have for me. Maybe you know this mod or an alternative mod? I tried to google, but nothing.... Best regards Feomathar
  18. I'm using mods but not any that truly change or buff combat. I leveled smithing & enchanting to 100. Created a 100% smithing boost set and wore those to create & upgrade my dual wield axes. After crafting them, I created a Daedric armor set and enchanted 4 total pieces with 40% 1h damage boost each (gloves, boots, ring, necklace). I've leveled & put perks into 1h so I have the 100% damage boost there as well. At level 55 the damage each of these axes do is 297. So... I ask: Is this normal? On Legendary difficulty I do still have to watch my HP and play smart but I still DESTROY most enemies with this build.
  19. So I've got a full set of heavy armor that I've improved with Smithing to be legendary in quality. At max enchanting (even with a potion) the Heavy Armor enchantment adds 33 to the Heavy Armor skill (meaning when you view the skill in your talent tree it will show 133, etc). I don't really know how this translates into physical damage reduction. Is this enchantment actually good or should I ditch it for some magic resistance? Any info is appreciated, thanks.
  20. Hey guys! So just to start off, this is literally gonna be a rant about how Bethesda decided to add Legendary Items and enemies into Fallout 4. If you are not in the mood or you have some very specific feelings about this topic, please don't go ham in the replies. I just wanna have a friendly conversation if anyone at all is interested. And besides, i wanna get this out there. Lets start. Is it just me, or a very small group of people from the Fallout community that thinks that Legendary items/enemies shouldn't exist in a game such as fallout 4? I mean, to me it only feels like they break the game. In balance, immersion AND even lore (Btw i am a massive lore geek). I use mods that remove these, but wouldn't it be way better for them to focus on something way better suited for this game than this? Imagine the time they would save, instead they could have created more actual unique weapons with quests and back stories to them. I would enjoy the game way more if that was the case. Legendary enemies do not make any sense either. Now, I understand that some people will say "Oh ye but this is an unrealistic game, have u ever seen a super mutant irl????" No, of course not. But this is not the point. The game should have game play elements that fit into the world it is set in, and that touches onto mechanics as well. It touches on everything pretty much. I would understand this way more if for example stronger enemies had a chance for some sort of unique mechanic instead of just "Hold on a sec just gotta regen all my life, oh done lets go". For example, wouldnt it be nice if supermutants went into berserk mode which makes their damage with melee weapons higher, protection higher and also made them run a bit faster? Meanwhile they switch from a ranged weapon to a melee weapon to use their berserk effectively. Now this is what would fit into Fallout if you ask me. Another example would be cool if a raider simply used some random drugs, like a medx, jet and buffout. But well, this is just a rant and we cannot do much about Bethesda just trashing their games into oblivion (See what I did there ;d). I hope someone comes up with a mod similar to what i just explained, but this if for the future... maybe.

Currently running a Children of Atom character, and running into the issue that the Robes of Atom's devoted do not allow for a chestpiece to be worn at the same time, making it so combining it with Atom's Bulwark is impossible. I was wondering it there is a way to either make it so I can wear a chest piece, or better yet turn the enchantment into a legendary mod, like any other legendaries. Because as it stands, its only available as an enchantment, not as an omod, so it cannot be applied to other items or clothing, the same issue that the Inquisitor's Cowl has. Asking mostly for Rp reasons and for "fashion" reasons, as I want my character to don a particular outfit without losing the Radiation playstyle.
  22. Came back to FO4 after a break. Updated the game, FSE, and all my mods. Started a new game everything was running fine until I tried to console in a legendary... crash... tried to pick up the first magazine... crash. I even tried disabling all my mods same thing. Thinking maybe it was a bad save tried another save... same thing. No idea what to do. Maybe completely delete FO4 and do a clean install?
  23. I don't like these "legendaries". They are immersion-breaking for me. Why can legendary robots "mutate"? Why does some random molerat have a sniper rifle? The "legendary" items are a topic of their own, but this thread is not about them. I'd like a mod that at least attempts to make legendary enemies a little more realistic. - At least rename "mutated" to "enraged" or something. - Legendary NPCs should have the item they drop equipped and use it against you. - Legendary Animals could drop something else instead of items. Sure you can assume that a deathclaw ate a rader and has his pistol in it's stomach, but getting sniper rifles out of molerats is ridiculous. So, animals could drop "legendary" resource items instead. For example, carapaces which give you bone, fresh bones which you can cook for glue (and bone, of course), poison glands for acid, lard for oil, stuff like that. - Legendary robots could only ever drop weapon mods. Like, you kill a legendary assaultron, take it's advanced capacitor and put it in your laser gun. - Some sort of a category system. Legendary raiders should only ever get raider, leather or metal as L. armor and mostly pipe weapons, Gunners only combat armor and pre-war guns, Synths only synth armor and institute weapons, etc. While a raider would probably wear anything, they definitely wouldn't outfit a synth with some old leather chest piece at the Institute.
  24. TL;DR on the bottom. So, I've been trying to run my Skyrim Legendary Edition for the past week or so. Day by day, night by night all I did whenever I had an occassion to touch the PC was to try and run Skyrim. I started off as a total newb in modding and generally the technical stuff. It was years ago that I first tried my first mods for Skyrim. It was great, it was fun, everything was broken and everything kept crashing but it was mine. I did it and I was the one having fun. Then, life has taken Skyrim away from me for said years and only lately have I come back. I got myself a Skyrim LE copy with all the shiny stuff and all. It was running just fine for the first 20 minutes. Then I decided to change the course of history (of Skyrim) and get some mods. The intro is boring and takes too long, the "Helgen sequence" is more fun if you mod 5 dragons into Solitude and simply rename it to "Solitude sequence" etc etc. Anyway, I closed the game and downloaded all the mod stuff I would need. Got myself TES5EDIT, got myself NMM, got myself LOOT and then I embarked on an adventure to find the dankest mods in all nexusmods.com. Over the minutes, hours, days I was getting better and better in modding, I started understanding things that people do not normally care to understand, I started paying attention to my load order, started doing cool things with TES5EDIT and generally got gud. Then, something unexpected and horrifying struck me down... I experienced my first ever STARTUP CTD. PANIC. Panic arised inside my head and for a second I was paralysed. "Think" - I said to myself - "Think, you're prepared for this. You've been training! You CAN do it!" and started mingling with the load order as I knew it was most likely the problem. I ticked off all the variations of the compatibility patches for mods I do not have or downloaded these mods to add difficulty and epicness. I deleted a few mods said to cause plenty of startup crashes and other stability issues. I started deactivating my mods one by one starting from the least master-like mods to end with the ones most important. I was reaching the top of my load order. My fingers started trembling with fear as I knew... In a few disabled mods I will get to the horrifying part of troubleshooting... the skyrim.esm. But I did not take my hands off my keyboard. Oh no. I turned on TES5EDIT and checked the masters for errors and missing records/files/other masters. My only ally in this war came up with no results... Not a single red-tinted message, not a single warning to help me with my struggles. Panic struck again. It had to be done... I reinstalled the game. Reinstalled SKSE, started slowly adding the essential mods and stopped at a count of maybe 5 or 7 of them. Tried running Skyrim again and then another dose of terror pierced my heart. It couldn't be... More startup CTDs? On a clean reinstall?! It was madness. And so it started again. I started disabling and uninstalling the mods. Checking each plugin for errors and verifying every cache there was. I even cleaned my WHOLE load order with T5E. It was all for nothing. It didn't matter if I tried running the game as administrator. It didn't matter if it was via SKSE or the launcher. Nothing mattered anymore. My life goal has become to run the game, that I remember running just fine so many times. Visions of dragon slaughter and CBBE orgies still haunt my dreams... The will to fight in the endless warzone conflicts keeps arising every day. But now I know what to do. It will work now. I'm reinstalling the game again. This time it's all clean. Everything I could think of. If I fail, I swear to the holy nine that Bethesda will perish for what they did to me... TL;DR Startup CTD crashes. It's not a loadorder thing, can't be. It must be a problem with skyrim.esm or one of the DLCs in my copy of the game. It literally won't let the game show the main menu. What I tried: - changing default audio settings both to CD quality and to Studio quality; - disabling every mod there was; - doing a few clean reinstalls; - verifying; - using TES5EDIT to find missing masters; - running the game as admin via both launcher and SKSE; - running it without DLCs activated in load order. So far no results. I just finished the next reinstall. Trying something again and I'll get back with results. PS: Post made mainly to help those with similar problems. If I ever find a fix that is.
