I'm very new to modding and I couldn't find anything related to this that can help, so you're my last hope boi's. I am trying to recreate Kira Yoshikage's Primary Bomb. And couldn't find any tutorials that talk about Powers/Lesser Powers specifically. Basically how I want to make it is that when you use it on a Actor, or dead body, it will glow for half a second/a second, and then explode and turn into a ash pile while the explosion is obstructing your view. I don't know how to apply specific visuals, or how to script. TL;DR No idea how to apply specific visuals. No idea how to script. No idea if I can do this.

If you could make runes a lesser power and still keep it a spell, I'd really appreciate it. Maybe if you could add more runes too that would be nice but what I really want is just runes as a lesser power. Here are a couple runes that can hopefully be added. I am trying to make a lesser power that increase the enchanting skill by 5 upon use with the proper xp (like a trainer or incpcs console command). So I made a fire and forget magic effect of script archtype and attached the following to it: Scriptname TrainEnchanting extends game Event OnEffectStart(Actor Target, Actor Caster)Game.IncrementSkillBy("Enchanting", 5)endEvent It compiles without a problem but the lesser power does nothing regardless. So is it something wrong with my script (some properties needed perhaps?) or are there other things to consider in the magic effect itself?

1. I'm fairly new to modding and working on a playable race. I'm trying to create a movement speed boost lesser power, I cant for the life of me to get it to work :( anyone know how to do this? 2. Also trying to increase unarmed damage by 50 as a lesser power if you know how to do this let me know. wanna learn how to turn 1 and 2 powers into passives. thanks in advance

I was trying to make a Spell Absorption spell that I wanted to be a self cast concentration spell. By adding a MagicWard keyword I got the cool talk-to-the-hand animation (instead of the let-me-sprinkle-pixie-dust-on-myself animation that normally plays with self targeting spells.) The problem is THIS: I want to make the spell a lesser power that costs magicka, but it only lasts for a split second. I cannot hold the spell even though it is classified as a concentration spell. If I move it make it a Restoration Spell, I can add a perk stops skill-ups, but the restoration level effects the magnitude of the effect. I tried setting the Skill Usage Multiplier to 0.00 but that did nothing. Does anyone have any insight into lesser powers that would be helpful?

****** Dawnguard Spoilers throughout ******** When playing the dawnguard DLC I found it difficult to enjoy the dawnguard side of the story because I was always thinking of how badass the vampire lord form is. Basically what I am thinking is a 'good' equivalent to the vampire lord consisting of: 1. Vampire lord retexture to an angel-like character (as new race based on vampire lord animations etc.) 2. Anti-undead repertoire of spells available 3. Not being attacked in towns etc. 4. Possibly incorporation of Aedric artifacts within the power. 5. Quest to gain the power - possibly something to do with the heart of Lorkhan? Whilst being totally clueless with regards to blender to model the retexture and not particularly good with the various aspects of CK I am more than willing to help in any way that I can, even if simply providing a guaranteed endorsement upon completion. As always, let me know what you think even if you think that it is a stupid idea. Thanks.

Hi, I want to turn the whirlwind level 3 shout to lesser power, so I can use it indefinitely. But it's not working. I've added the invisibility effect for 1 second just for visual. In the effects, I have: Sprint Effect 3 (VoiceSprintEffect3), Magnitude=10.00, Area=0, Duration=0s --- which is exactly the same as the original sprint shout.Invisibility for 1 second. The only things changed are: Type = Lesser PowerEquip Type = VoiceSpell Cost = 0 The result is: I stand stillThe shout sound and "flash" effects are still hereI turn invisible for 1 second I don't want to be standing still lol. I want the sprint effect to work as well. Everything else is fine. Where am I going wrong?? Thanks in advance! :)

Im making a mod with spells that ive made into lesser powers that cost magicka and work with perks. The only real difference between these lesser powers and spells is the equip slot. Unfortunatly even if they cost magicka the spells/lesser powers still wont grant skill xp. I was wondering if anyone out there would know of a way to fix this so it does. I would really apreceate any help on this as its really put a damper on what i consider to be a great idea.

I have searched the internet for a while for an answer to this with little to no help so please if you are reading this skim it over and see if you can be of any help. I am crating a mod in which i wanted to make the flames spell a lesser power. it was easy enough to do but when used it only lets out a puff and then stops. Ive also tried to edit the spell so that it fires for a set amount of time like a burst like the breath of nchauk(visage of Mzund helm) from dragonborn does but i could not get that to work either. My question is, is there anyone out there who can help me make the flames spell work as normal as a lesser power so that it fires until i let go? If that's not possible, is there anyone who knows how to make it a burst like the Breath of Nchauk? Any help would be greatly appreciated, i really want this to work.

I have found that if you reduce the lesser power cooldown in gameplay settings to 0 concentration style spells will play their animation. The problem is that the animation plays until you run out of magicka (spell is usable indefinitely at 0 magicka), power attack, or take out weapons. My question, is there a way using scripts to possibly make it a toggle so that pressing the button again would cancel the effect?

I am currently trying to make my very first mod, a lesser power that allows the player to kick back an enemy with the Werewolf knockback effect (basically the Spartan Kick from 300 and AC: Odyssey). I have already created a plugin in the CK for a lesser power with this effect, and have already created a 3rd person kicking animation in Blender. However, I do not know how to do three things that I would like to. Firstly, I would like to attach the animation to the power so that it plays when the power is activated in game. Secondly, I would like to delay the knockback effect for about a second so that the animation can actually reach the contact part. Lastly, I would like to create a 1st person animation as well so the power works in both views, but have been unable to find any tutorials on how to make 1st person animations. Does anyone know how I could do these things, or if I even can? Thank you!

Right now I am trying to re-create Kira Yoshikage's Primary Bomb I've almost got done adding the script that turns people into ash when they die, but I still can't find out; How do I add a explosion to somebody without a projectile? I've come across nothing that explains this, and seriously need someone to help. Here's how I plan for everything to go. Use Power On NPC/Actor > Glows for half a second > Explosion > While explosion happens, ash pile spawns. > Explosion disappears, ash pile is on the ground where the NPC/Actor was.
