Some context: Over a year ago I posted my issue on the Necromancy and Lichdom mod's Nexus page, and I haven't got any reply about it yet. I was wondering if somebody here could perhaps enlighten me why these 2 mods seem to conflict or if it's something else, here goes my original post from Nexus: SM adds the reanimation effect to dead creatures including undead, so it no longer just affects dead NPCs. "Target cannot be animated" is the message I get while trying to animate Hulking Zombies, but instead they are only reanimated temporarily and then they fall dead to the ground after like 50 seconds or so... Not sure if it's a bug or if I'm missing something... I used the "Greater Animate" spell, not the Lesser one. Do I need to give them hearts and other body parts besides a weapon? And why does it have a reanimation effect? I'm pretty sure it is the reanimation effect's fault, because I just tested animating a skeleton and a normal zombie and they work fine, but creating a shambles did the same thing as with the hulking zombies, they die after around 40-60 seconds. Btw, I tested again, loading the .esp plugin lower than the Supreme Magicka .esp and rebuilding my Bashed Patch. The reanimation effect was shorter, and when I casted the Greater Animate spell on a hulking zombie, a shambles, and a flesh atronach, in all 3 attempts, the game crashes after around 30 seconds, just when the reanimation effect of the spell ends. The only way for me to make this work is by using the resurrect console command on them, totally not the way it was intended... Any way to solve this? I have been browsing undead mods, but have only found mods that just add a new species to the selection, or a transformation into a lich. While the lich transformation mod is very immersive and well done, I'm looking for something a little more similar to vampirism; progressive stages, with weaknesses and strengths. In my mind, a Lich would have three stages, instead of four; 1) Eidolon, 2) Illmenni (Icelandic -Villain), 3) Daemon At the first stage, your appearance has only minor changes; pale and colourless skin, bright ice-blue eyes (like a draugr), and a slight constriction of the flesh around the body. People treat you normally, but say something is off about you. Second stage, your undead state is noticeable; your skin is withered from loss of moisture and fat (so you would have a thin and upturned nose, visible cheekbones, ect). People warn you to stay away, and will attack if you get to close. Weaknesses would be vulnerability to Dawnguard enchantments and spells, limited benefits from potions, drain life effects do nothing for you (nor to you), no health or stamina regeneration, and normal healing spells having no effect. Strengths would be no drowning, constant magika absorbtion from incoming spells, higher undead minion count, disease and poison immunity, drain life effects do nothing to you (nor for you), and a few unique powers. Has anything like this been done already? If not, how feasible is it?

I already posted an idea like this but nobody replied.As a devoted necromancer and follower of lord Mannimarco i am offended that i had to kill Malkoran at the end of the quest, without the option to betray Meridia and side with master necromancer and get a chance to wreak chaos across Skyrim. I mean come on Malkoran is a beast and even after you manage to kill him he comes back as a shade. So please in the name of one and only lord Mannimarco the King Of Worms, the father of all necromancers can someone make a mod where you can side with Malkoran, betray Meridia, use your unholy power to corrupt Dawnbreaker and get some new spells fitting for a master necro.I'm sure it would be a awesome mod and I'm not the only one that would like such mod. Remember that Mannimarco is watching at his children and will reward you modders with many endorsments for your work :D

Hey I was wondering if someone could create a mod that makes you a lich. Something that edits the skin files like how vampirism works, so you can have a undead look but still preserve your original qualitys. Kinda like how the better vampire lord transformation works. And to have a phylaticry somewhere in the world that revives you naked. While all your gear stays in the area your original body died waiting to be reclaimed or to despawn.

Hey all, I'm really interested in two mods (well you could count them as three) that i really want to play alongside each other in harmony. First of all there is Sperg! a great mod to have! Secondly there is the Undeath mod, which is sweet imo and as far as i know should work well alongside Sperg without any fuzz. However...... thirdly since there is sub-mod made based on Undeath: ...... Undeath Immersive Lichdom which adds some very interesting features ...I have been....undying to add this mod too and make it work with Sperg!! Trouble is: - with Sperg and Undeath installed my conjuration skill tree is fine..no problemo. - BUT since Immersive Lichdom modifies and makes adds to the whole perk tree of conjuration...well Sperg's Conjuration Perk Tree changes are lost when Immersive Lichdom is installed over it and vice versa when Sperg gets the last load... ..the Rule of One thing. i HATE this.... moreover im pulling my hair out of frustration since the mod author of Immersive Lichdom did make compatibility patches for popular mods that modify the perk trees like Perma and Ordinator... BUT did not provide a patch for Sperg! So my question to the community out here: is there anyone willing to take up this torch and do something about this? -the author's of Immersive Lichdom and Compatibility patches for Sperg.... have not replied to me since i asked them a few weeks ago. Or if you have the time and patience: can you guide me through the process of getting this fixed myself? Near to zero modding experience ( i would call it borderline modding), ...i learn best with the monkey see, monkey do method. Still i am convinced that a experienced modder could get it done faster and better then i probably can...

I have been a member of the Nexusmods website for quite some time and never posted on the forums, and in all those years I have wanted one thing, first in Oblivion and now in Skyrim - a dungeon mod for Naxxramas, the legendary raid from World of Warcraft. It is a dungeon that I have obsessed over for quite some time, admiring the layout of the dungeon, the atmosphere, the music, the style and the theme of the dungeon - a giant crypt that floats in the sky as a citadel for the undead. Yet in all those years I saw a few World of Warcraft dungeons made, including the excellent Shadowfang Keep and Scarlet Monastery dungeons for Oblivion, and the Molten Core mod for Skyrim. Many people talked of wanting a Naxxramas mod, but no one could be bothered making it themselves, including me. I waited and waited and kept discouraging myself saying "oh it would be too hard to learn CK". Anyway, after a long period of deliberation I decided that I would build Naxxramas myself if no one else would do it. And so, but a few days ago, I started work on the mod, and am currently building the Military Quarter of the raid making very good progress, and will follow this with the Frostwyrm Lair and central hub sections. I have acquired permission from Cryptosporidium to use his external overworld Necropolis that he made to represent Naxxramas in the world of Skyrim. I will not be basing this dungeon on the WOTLK version but on the original VANILLA version of the raid, including all enemies from that original, pure incarnation of the greatest dungeon ever designed. I have created a little backstory for why the undead scourge has invaded Tamriel, and that will be included in the mod in books scattered around the dungeon. This is a massive undertaking, because Naxxramas is a vast dungeon - a veritable city in fact. I'm not deterred though, and I'll keep going, simply because I am completely obsessed with Naxxramas, the Undead Scourge, undead in general and recreating it in Skyrim. Here's a list of things I'm going to include in the mod: World of Warcraft-accurate dungeon layout, structure, decoration and colouration.Music and ambient sounds from World of Warcraft to create an authentic atmosphere.Books, written by myself and also taken from World of Warcraft, to give the dungeon backstory and depth rather than making a quest line to reduce work (including gems like On Undeath)Voice files from the game to make the bosses feel closer to World of Warcraft.Accurate enemy names and abilities, including, but not limited to, massive health pools and devastating attacks.Incredibly difficult battles against bosses and standard enemies - it is Naxxramas after all - to the point where you will be pulling your hair out in frustration and wanting to rage quit from the game. Unless you cheat, but that doesn't count.Authenticity is my main goal with this mod - my first mod - because in my opinion if it doesn't look, sound and play like the original then there's no point doing it. As such my mod will be of the highest quality and may well take a long time to complete but it will be worth it in the end. Of course, I really could do with some help. I can easily handle building the dungeon, navmeshing it, writing books, adding sounds and music and voice files, scripting etc. but I can't do everything. I really need someone that is fairly good at either importing or creating from scratch certain pieces of armour and also ENEMY MODELS. I really need models for the following bosses: GLUTH (May use a Death Hound as a placeholder)LOATHEB (may resort to using a Troll as a placeholder)THADDIUS (Giant placeholder? Frost Giant?)KEL'THUZAD (although I may resort to using a Dragon Priest for him)GROBBULUS (no placeholder really available for this guy...) ...and the following enemies: ABOMINATIONS (might use Ash Spawn as a placeholder)WIGHTS (Draugr placeholder)SLIMES/ SLUDGES (Netch placeholder?)FUNGAL MONSTROSITIES (Troll placeholder probably) ...and the following weapons / pieces of armour: Level 60 Frost Resistance gear (such as Icebane Plate)Tier 3 armour sets.Weapons. WEAPONS, DAMMIT.ShieldsThe importance of including these weapon / armour models is paramount - if the loot and enemy appearances don't fit the bill then it will look half-baked. Maybe I'll have to learn how to do it myself if no one helps me, but then it will a) take more time and b) result in a higher chance I give up out of exhaustion. If you are willing to help but don't know what the above items / enemies look like I recommend looking them up. For some reason every time I save either wile im in a transformation (werewolf, lich, vampire lord) or any time after I change back I get a ctd. I tried loading a previous save, wile transformed, before it started happening and I was able to save but after I changed back to human then back to lich form I could no longer save. the Undeath mod is not the problem, as it still occurred even with it off. If anybody could help me out with this dilemma it would be greatly appreciated.

I am making a dungeon mod from scratch in the CK based on the raid Naxxramas from World of Warcraft. It is a massive floating crypt filled with many undead horrors. So I'd probably be doing most of the work anyway. This is a thing I've wanted to do for a long time, and it's not overly ambitious like a lot of mods since it's only a dungeon (and a couple of quests and things), so it's not that much work, but it's still a lot for one person to do since Naxxramas features a lot of creatures that have very unique models that simply lack a parallel in Skyrim. I know it's a longshot to ask for help, almost pointless, since no one really gives a damn about my mod and no one ever helps anyway, but I could really use the help because it's a lot of work and I can't realistically do it all on my own. I mean, I could, but it would take so long it wouldn't be worth doing, since I'd have to build the dungeon, navmesh it and everything else and THEN learn from the beginning how to create models for skyrim, how to texture, how to animate, etc. etc. The only way I would do it if no one helped would be to rip models from WoW, which I would rather not do since a) it would prevent me from uploading it onto the Nexus due to it being frowned upon here and b) it would probably look weird and wrong. Anyway here it is and now you know so if you're willing to help or learn how to create models and help then please let me know. If I can't get any help it could well end up that this mod never gets made. Basically, can someone make a mod that makes it so that any random item in a dungeon in loot that has Lich in it or Liches can have a sort of Phylactery Script attached to it corresponding to a pre-recorded record that records how many Liches are in said dungeon that makes it so that until said item/s with a phylactery script is destroyed A Lich Cannot die, and is merely Ko'ed or dies and Resurrects Undead Rise Style. This way, not only are Liches more hard to fight ingame, but it means that some item loot in a Dungeon might have to be destroyed if you wish to clear it. Hello to everyone, im new out here, so im Newbie. My request is a very difficult task for modders. First of all: Animation Request. And to be more specific - Animation for Arthas (Lich King). 1) Walking, Idle, sprint. 2) Combat, (un)sheat (+Frostmourne) 2) Magic combat/casting. (I think it will be easyer to copy from World Of Warcraft) Second: Player Home. If you are Lich King (King of the Dead) then you must have a specific home for you. And i think - Tower, floating in the sky or a very high icy pillar with Throne - will be very, very cool and immersive. We already have Armour+Weapon set for Lich King, but what about animations and player house? So this is my requests - Animation pack (Heavy and Muscle + Plate Armour and heavy weaponry) and Player Home (Icy pillar or Castle in the Sky + Snow Theme)

Hello everyone, hope you're doing well. So, Undeath is an outstanding mod in Skyrim - it gives the player a chance to take the step to become a undying master of magic in the form of a Lich which can have its appearance be decided by one's choices, and such lovely add-ons like Immersive Lichdom help make it a powerful and awe-inspiring form. But I feel that there should be something else for my fellow Liches. Who here remembers the Nether Liches from Oblivion? A Nether Lich, as the ghostly form of a slain Lich, is one that attempts to regain its corporeal form - or obtain a new one in general - and despite being weakened in this state is still dangerous. Since TES Liches don't need their phylactery after the ritual completes itself, the Nether Lich is the form that makes them truly undying with their soul being bound to Nirn. And let's not forget, in Skyrim we see a powerful Necromancer rise from the dead as a spectral powerful similar to a Nether Lich emerging from a slain Lich. So why not have a chance for players killed in Lich form come back as a Nether Lich? My idea for an Undeath add-on for anyone who are up to it and think this has potential is this. Once a player becomes a Lich and, if they have Immersive Lichdom, gain enough power, they should have the ability or perk option to rise from their broken body (be it limited only to their Lich Form or if either form they take would allow this to activate) as a Nether Lich, which could resemble either a ghostly form of their Lich form or Malkoran's Shade. A Nether Lich is weaker than their 'living' counterparts, so they could suffer a decrease in health and stamina and maybe suffer decreased magicka regeneration due to the need to regain energy for a resurrection. And of course, should the Nether Lich be slain, it would be treated as a death and this would be where you have the restart kick in. This form's purpose would be to give the player a chance at revenge against their killer or a chance to recover. The latter would let them regain their energy to either recreate/repair their body, use a fresh corpse as a vessel (with the option to change it into your old body with a perk or spell or keep it as is) or - taking inspiration from Oblivion's Erandur-Vangaril - find a mortal to corrupt and possess. This possession could take place in a separate cell and require fighting their soul in Nether Lich form. Should you succeed in making them yield, you gain control of their body. From here, one can either use the mortal's body, use a ritual to transform the body into a new Lich Form, or collect your remains, bring them to your lair, and reform your old self with a special ritual. Repairing the body, since a Lich (like Dragon Priests) turns to ash upon death, could require either spending enough time as a Nether Lich to use a spell or ability to reform your body from the ashes, or - if able to - have some way to pick up the ashes and bring them back to where you performed the rtiual to become a Lich. From there, with a few reagents and a special tome in your lair you can activate, you could quicken the reformation of your original form and all of its items, health and stamina, and features. Taking a slain NPC's body would require one of two spells found only on the Nether Lich's repertoire that both raises the NPC's body as well as puts you in control. Your magicka amount would stay the same as it was originally, but the health and stamina would fit the body, as would any racial bonuses. The same can be said for attempting to possess living NPCs - using the second of these unique spells that triggers the teleportation to the unique cell and, should the NPC submit, the control over the NPC as though it were the PC. Both conditions could give the player access to their spells as though it were their actual character, as well as access to their shouts, but the Lich form would be temporarily disabled until you either transform the current body or regain your original form. Forgive me if the explanation is less than ideal, and some of this seems like a stretch - or wishful thinking for a mod add-on - but it's a concept that I always found interesting since learning about the Nether Lich. Anyone able to help me with a bug I started having, basically when I transform I get stuck in the kinda boneman/burnt skeleton form and not fully transforming into the lich. I can still play and fly around and change spells its just a visual thing but its a little annoying looking like a proper lich. When I first unlocked the transformation it worked fine and I cant quite put my finger on when it got stuck like this as I thought after I died the first time as a lich and used Dark resurgence (as a test) that this is just what it looks like when you are weakened. I think it might be after I added Immersive Lichdom, however I am not too sure and I am unsure if I can just turn off the mod mid play as so far this load order has been 100% crash free. Greeting everyone, First of all i already read uncle's google every possible solution ( which i could find ) so now I'm here. I have Skyrim Legendary Edition The problem is after lich transformation ( reveal true form) lich model appears and then quits to desktop. It is strange becouse of..in some places this transformation is going well and in the other places it just crash the game. I do not have idea what is causing problem. Skyrim - Undeath is my (one of many in Skyrim's modding history) attempt to create an immersive Lichdom mod for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. It will have a questline that sees the player track down and stop a powerful necromancer and his followers who are seeking the lost secrets of this heretical transformation, and ensure they remain hidden... or claim them for themselves. This mod will require both Dawnguard AND Dragonborn. This was a personal project I began a while back, and I've been working on it whenever I've had the chance for a very long time. The ability for a character to transcend their mortality and become an immortal undead Lich is always a concept that has fascinated and excited me, but actually making this a reality in Skyrim has taken a lot of work. In many ways, the path to modifying Skyrim to allow the player to become a Lich has felt like the actual elusive, and arcane process of Lichdom itself. I've researched and studied necromancy and lore for years to implement it in a sensible way, and had to learn the esoteric Black Arts of scripting, modelling and texturing to fulfill my ambitions. I've seen many great projects filled with passion and great ideas rise and fall around this concept, with others attempting the process giving up in frustration or lack of time. Liches in Skyrim Liches in the Elder Scrolls lore are powerful necromancers who have secured their own souls within a vessel known as a 'Phylactery' through immeasurably intricate and arcane rituals, and managed to retain their sentience in a state of endless undeath. This allows them to continue their search of knowledge for centuries, decades, and even thousands of years. The first known mage to achieve this process of Lichdom was the patron of all necromancers, the dreaded King of Worms, Mannimarco. Since then, most, if not all liches have learned their secrets from him directly and rarely recorded their secrets. This presented a serious problem in creating a lore friendly approach to obtaining the secrets required, but with the arrival of Dragonborn and Hermaeus-Mora's realm of Apocrypha, where all forbidden knowledge is hoarded, the answer was made clear. Why Dragonpriests? While various mods have had different ideas and perceptions about how a Lich should look and act, I've gone with the theme of the Dragonpriest model & animations, and their associated problems myself. I feel for one that elements of this model, and its animations best capture the look and 'feel' of what it is to be a Lich. Their gliding, cloaks and animations are some of my favorite in the game and this undoubtedly swayed my choice. Unfortunately, being an NPC model this form does come with a number of restrictions which I will forewarn about: Spells while in Lich form are currently PRESET. They can only be changed through a menu brought up using the Ctrl key. While this is by no means an ideal solution, I lack the knowledge or skill to locate and reverse engineer Dawnguard's Vampire Lord 'favorites menu' which is seemingly separate from the standard favorite menu, and would allow me to set a wider variety of spells which can be more easily accessed. Until the answer to this is found, the range and method of choosing spells can't be changed.Like Dawnguard's 'Vampire Lord' form, you'll be unable to enter first person perspective, or access your spells or inventory. You can however still activate and loot objects.As Lich form uses a variety of pre-set models, you won't be able to wear your existing armour that your 'living' character has. You will be able to, however, decide your final lich appearance through the questline.Obviously as a Lich, you will be attacked on sight. While in Lich form, you will be able to revert back to your 'living' form using powerful illusion magic, however there will be a lengthy cooldown between charges before you can transform back, so use this wisely.As an NPC model, you will not be able to dual cast spells. Instead, the playstyle of the Lich will be geared towards slower casting, with more powerful spells.There are other minor issues which I will note down, when I remember them! This is generally what you can expect with Lichform. Lich Ritual: A quick overview of the Lich ritual the player will undertake at the end of their dark journey. This will require a series of rare and difficult to acquire artifacts and ingredients. Lich Ritual Components: The fabled Phylactery and Elixir of Defilation, which will be required to complete the ritual successfully. Ravenscorn Spire: Upgrade this decrepit and forgotten tower, and make its dark reaches your own! This thread will continue to be updated until release. Hello All. I have an idea for a Lich mod however I am no where near good enough with the creation kit to do so at this stage. Basically if some of you remember the oblivion modding scene, there were a couple of Lich mods that were quite good, However with Skyrim I have not been able to find that that is still in;development. To become a Lich it would revolve around the Tomb of Undying and would require a quest to do with creating your phylactery as well as a some sacrifice. it would require some materials, some would be easy to acquire and some may not be so easy. (there could be a Version that skips the quest if players will it. Some of the ideas I have based on the Oblivion Lich would be; You can use the Vampire Lord Transformation to turn into the lich You can use the Vampire/Dragon Priest movement animation to move as a lich You would be able to look bodies and open chests (not be able to lock pick) For the Model Maybe A overhaul of the VL You would be able to Change from hover mode to walking mode (like the VL) Hover Mode would allowed Water walking and 0 fall damage Walking mode would maybe allow for some sort of;benefits;like looting and certain attacks The Lich would me a magic only type deal, unlike the VL that when on the ground uses his claws The Lich Would have its own Perk tree in the same way as the VL just named Necromancey (or some other Creative name) No inventory as Lich however you could still loot Would have its own spells in the same way as VL however it would focus on the Undead and would gain more spells as you level up the tree Spells would be scaled so they will never be useless The Lich would have a blast back attack similar to Unrelenting Force (but around you 360 degrees) to compensate no melee. the Lich Model would always have one hand with a staff (like the Oblivion Lich's) Spells would be able to be;equipped;with BOTH hands unlike the VL You would gain perk points based on a Soul devour system (either like a soul trap system or Devour souls once they are dead) Once you become a Lich Your human form would be severely Weakened as you would have to maintain the human form for mainly appearances/stealth not for combat. Of-course You would become Undead and Restoration would not be able to heal you. The mod would come in diffident;flavors to be available for different players and there play style (boosted stats/resistances, Ring of Lich (instead of quest) easier perk points (less Souls Devoured) Would be not use any preexisting scripts to avoid conflicting with Vampire/Werewolf mods Lich form and Human form would use different identity's so you would not get a bounty on your human form if you killed a town as the Lich, However the Lich would be a "Kill on sight" deal. If you are seen turning into the Lich you will either get a HUGE bounty or be permanently an enemy of that region. (mod versions/patches will change it so you can download accordingly to how you want to play) I can elaborate on any of these points if anyone would like more details for the ideas, so if anyone else has any ideas/suggestions/changes please tell me and if anyone would like to have a go at making the mod that would be awesome and I would love to know.

Would it be possible to create a facemask or something like that, that is essentially the texture of a Draugr's face? I would love to be able to use some kind of undead appearance under a hood that would pass as a lich. There's a few skull appearance mods out there, but I feel that most of them either look more comical or you can't wear them with a hood. Cheers.

Keep getting CTD with the initial lich transformation, It tells me that I am missing NiNode. So I've been playing Skyrim for a long time now and I stumbled upon Undeath a little while ago. Since I was looking to become a playable dragon priest I downloaded it but the lich doesn't look like a dragon priest with that bulky armor. I unpacked the .bsa and changed the meshes and made a .txt for the 2 lines of code to change into a dragon priest via the lich skins. Then I recently found the Immersive Lichdom mod and this bugged my meshes and rendered them invisible. And since this will now turn into a mod request I have a few more requests, since I kind of wanted to play my game as a friendly dragon priest and not as my official character that I chose at the beginning of the game but since everyone is hostile to me and I can't access my menus so I keep having to switch between my human form and my lich form which is the first thing I don't like and second is that my meshes are invisible. So if someone can please attempt to make a mod that makes it so you turn into a dragon priest that is considered friendly by those who are supposed to be friendly and make it so that I can access my inventory, magic, skills and map so I can play the game as a dragon priest, then that would be awesome. Here's everything in a nutshell: I ask for: - transforming into a dragon priest instead of a lich - being considered friendly to the friendly npcs - being able to open my inventory, skills and perks, magic and map The mod must be: - compatible with skse camera mods for first person view Making is very different from changing and since I don't know how to make and only know how to change I ask for a mod that does that what is mentioned in the nutshell. I am aware of the existence of "player.setrace dragonpriestrace" but this is a very buggy solution which I have tried before. Apologies if I posted this in the wrong forum section. This is my first forum on Nexus. If the mod works I won't need immersive lichdom anymore to overhaul an already cool but improvable experience.
