  1. I haven't installed new mods since the last time I played. Now all jetpacks not on power armor push down, not up. I have jetpacks FAO, the SA IV armor (which has it's own jetpacks), and jetpack overhaul installed. These are the only jetpack mods i have. They have all been installed for months and no issues. I have no clue what broke or how to fix it. The most recent mod I installed is a follower (Vermillion Frost) a week or two ago, no issues with the game. I have Steam offline so Fallout 4 can not update. I'm perplexed.. ideas? I have tried re-installing the jetpack mods.. didn't work. I will include load order:
  2. WARNING LOT OF TEXT - TL;DR AT BOTTOM I have been trying to reinstall my mods since this morning because I wanted to play again after a while of not. My issues is that none of the mods are working. How I started: Fresh install of the game and purged all mod files. Edited (added) the Falout4Custom.ini file with the necessary lines as suggested by NMM. Installed the Fallout 4 Script Extender. The first time I tried to reinstall all my mods at once like I normally do and just let NMM and LOOT handle most of the work. While this did seem to let some of the mods work, most didn't The "Start Me Up" mod didn't trigger at the start. "Cheat Terminal" never added itself to my inventory. The only mod I could confirm to work is "Push Button to Lower Weapon" which is pretty basic so I am not surprised it worked. To troubleshoot the problem I first tried alternative ways of getting the portable Cheat Terminal to see if anything was working due to it showing up in my load order both pre-game and in-game. I was able to add the holotape but uppon using it none of the commands worked. Trying to change SPECIAL stats did nothing and the add item features result in nothing. The static terminal that appears in the settlement system did show up but like the portable version, the commands did nothing. After giving up on the Cheat Terminal specifically I tried to see if any other mods worked, specifically weapon mods. While I can live without a Cheat Terminal (console commands work great) I did at least want the weapons. I placed the character at the weapon shop in Diamond City to look for modded weapons. Most of the level list weapons were not there. Two were though, but they didn't have models in either their preview in the menus or when equipped. They were also unable to fire (should have been obvious but thought I would try anyway). I uninstalled what I thought might be compatibility issues. I had LOOT constantly redoing the load order, as well as manually doing so. I checked some forums of the mods to see if others have the same issue (some did but not to my extent). I even manually installed certain mods to make sure the files were going to the right place in case it was an NMM issue. At this point, I decided to start from square one again (restarting back at the first three things I did above). From this point, after another fresh start, I decided to do one mod at a time. I started with the Cheat Terminal since I knew what to expect from it if it did work. After trying to get it to work all by itself. it didn't work. It was having the exact same issues as it did with everything installed. Including the one on Bethesda Net. I then uninstalled it and tried to get my favourite weapon mod working first. I installed the mod for the M1 Garand (by asXas) along with AWKCR (as it is required for the mod). It had the same issue as the other weapons. Upon adding the gun via console commands the gun appeared in inventory but the preview picture was blank and there was no model when equipped. I again tried manual installs and load order sorting (what little I could do with such few files) and nothing worked. TL;DR Mods are actually showing up, few lite ones work, but models and scripts seem unable to work despite having game data (viewed from console / can add items using console commands but they lack functionality). If anyone has ideas on what else to do I am all ears. I have run out of ideas and have become quite frustrated with the situation. Leave any suggestions you have, ask any questions you have (that are not answered above).
  3. So as my title says, my mods are gone. Do I REALLY have to install them all over again? It's fine if it is a yes.
  4. Over six months ago, my PC died and i lost the ability to mod skyrim. during my time in skyrim i had a follower(who's name i've forgotten, which is why this search has been so difficult). She was a vampire\breton woman. i remember finding her in the hotfiles one day and falling in love with that face(don't judge, we've all been there). the follower mod really wasn't special, no custom voices, quests or even spells really. Here's all i remember: 1- she could be found in the abandoned prison down the stream from valthiem towers 2- she was a vampire, ans a breton i think. 3- she had a really sad backstory, something about being a spoiled noble's brat who sold her out to a vampire or something, which turned her. 4- i remember back when i still had the mod i logged onto nexus to check something in the mod description, and couldn't find it, which means it might have been deleted which kinda sucks. If anyone recognizes this mod, remembers the follower's name or better yet- has it and\or knows how i could get it back it would be very appreciated (PS: i am very sorry for how vague this all might sound, i wish i remembered more)
  5. Hey guys, does anyone knows if there is a mod to increase that little banner at the top left corner that displays the items you gained or lost ? I'm using DEF_UI and tried to use their config program but at best the only thing I managed to do was zoom in on it and increase it overall but it still maintains the 2 item limit Thanks!
  6. This happens to every single weapon and armor mod I download, they don't show up when I have them, weapons can be used (They can shoot, zoom, reload etc.) and armor effects are working too, the problem is that they are invisible. I used NMM, LOOT and edited .INI files.

Hey community i downloaded a very nice castle mod about a year ago and now i dont find it anymore, here a the things i know: 1 it has a fully voiced quest to recapture a castle from monsters 2 it started with a letter 3 u get a sword after finishing the story 4 the castle was full off trees and plants before u finished the mission 5 there are some bath and bedrooms i also have one screenshots left, maybe it help u to remind, thx for the help ^^ Oh, and the blue thing in the background isn´t a moon mod, it is part of the castle befor u finished the quests
  8. I recently had to reinstall Skyrim and all the mods I had. But there was one mod that I can't find and never knew the name of. I must have installed it by accident because even during old playthroughs I remember trying to look up what it was but found nothing. The mod added chests around the world that looked like messed up boss chests. They had a black texture rather than the default one and they were labeled "Mystery Chest" if I remember correctly. There was only ever one item in each chest and it was an item added by the mod. It was also normally very powerful, almost OP. It also added a dungeon to the map that you could automatically fast travel too. It was a small maze like area filled with extremely strong dedra in yellow armor. If anyone knows what mod this is I would appreciate it. I don't think I have any images to help otherwise, I would show them. Thank you.
  9. I'm not even going to bother writing an interesting story this time. Suffice it to say, if you have automatron, and more than one robot workbench, then there's a pretty good chance that you know exactly what I'm talking about. But, just in case you don't... I am, of course, referring to those times when you assign your robot to a location, and promptly forget and/or lose track of them. In an ideal world, the solution is one that gives robots a locational marker (similar to the way that Power Armor gets marked on your map!) so that you know where your valued Robot death-machine/companion has wandered off to. Google informs me that there are some people who have trouble keeping track of their normal followers as well. Suffice it to say, a little map notch for companions could save a lot of people a lot of headache.
  10. Good day, I am trying to make a quest for FO4. It is a fairly basic "Talk to person. Go here, talk to another person, return to first person" type of quest. I was able to get the first two steps of that done, when I went to talk to person B, they would speak their Greeting, but then the player response wheel would never show up. I added debug lines to show that it was firing phase 1 but it never completed phase 1. It simply waited forever. I tried to use a clean save without mods to see if I could fix the problem. Well that made matters worse. Now when I talk to NPC one he just looks at me and does not respond. When I try to set stage for my quest via the console, it fires, but it will not update the stage passed zero. Has anyone run into this issue before? Biulding3015, Dragon Captions
  11. I made a post about this a while back (sorry for the spam, I can not figure out how to just delete the old thread). I used to play the game with a mod installed that I didn't know when, where, or how I got it. It added black boss chests to the game in a bunch of specific locations (some hidden, some in the open). It also added two dungeons that I can remember. One was near Riverwood and just had a long hallway heading up with nothing in it. The other was closer to Markarth and was a very small maze-like dungeon with hard to kill daedra wearing a new yellow armor (was lore friendly but I can't remember which of the daedric princes they represent). In this dungeon, there was also another of the black boss chests at the entrance with a shield. The shield looked like flesh but that is all I can remember. If anyone else has this mod then they may remember this as well. While doing the quest to gather the pieces of Mehrunes Razor you travel to a forsworn camp. In this camp, you find two of the newly added chests. If I remember right they are even in the same building. I want this mod back because it added a sword that I enjoyed using. It was black with a crescent claw above the handguard. It also did more damage than any other sword in the game (beating out daedric at least). I believe it was called something like the sword of raven claw or something. I can't remember the exact name because of how long it has been. Other notable weapons it added were a warhamer made from bloody remains of people and a waraxe made from two skulls of Arvak. (Note: none of these weapons could be crafted) If anyone can help me find this mod it would be greatly appreciated. The only other bit of information I could offer is a screenshot of what I believe to be the name of the missing esp file. I only assume this is the right esp file because I can find all the other file but this one and activating the other files does not return the weapons to my character.

I saw these pictures on google and I clicked one and it took me to 4Skyrim.com, I tried to download (download link took me to MediaFire) but the user's account is suspended, therefore I was unable to obtain the mod. Sad day. If anyone recognizes this mod and knows of alternative sources of which it can be found, I would love you forever if you'd share your knowledge. I think it is a PERFECT leather replacer, one that I've wanted since Skyrim came out. On 4Skyrim.com it was named Replacement Leather Armor for both Sexes, but I assume this was a placeholder, and it may now be named differently if it has been posted on other sites.

I got a Problem ,normaly Fallout 4 has all Radios with all Stations like Diamond City Radio ,etc ,now i searched and searched in my Buildmenu by press V ,but the Radios are gone ,no where to be found. Is there some Posibillity to get them back ,as they where on begin ,Standard. Has anyone some Idea ,how to get them back without Starting the game from Nothing New ,so it dont breaks my Savegame Data? Thx

Hello guys I'm new here , so i was checking how to mod Skyrim i basically got the concept... i should have SKSE and FNIS so that mods work properly , now my problem is with FNIS V 6_2 only...i tried FNIS V 4 i placed directly to my data directory , windows asked me do u want to replace the same namd items i said yes...update FNIS behavior ( Skeleton arm ticked ) works like a charm ... tried FNIS V 5.5 ... same issue same steps worked like a charm , when i reached FNIS V 6_2 did the same steps exactly..extracted the file to my data directory..windows asked me to replace files i said YES..update FNIS behavior ...no animation just stiff , to be honest i started with FNIS 6_2 and tried other versions and i saw that it worked with other versions...deleted the game reinstalled the game..placed FNIS 6_2 in data directory , stiff animations , tried MOD organizer...installed the FNIS MOD , gave it the correct directory ( tried it both ways when FNIS folder is inside mod organizer mods or inside the data directory of skyrim ) , still stiff animation . i Don't understand why other versions worked and this one didn't. I really have tried everything i usually ask for help when i don't have anymore ideas to try. NOTE : 1-always running skyrim with SKSE 2-some say they have the animations stiff in T shape , i dont have them stiff in T shape.. they are mainly stiff in V shape ( upside down V like a person holding his arms to the ground but opening his shoulders a bit ) . 3- Tried the issue with MODS and without MODS , same result.
  15. i recently wanted to play fallout 4, but for some unknown reason, all my mods are gone, not showing up in NMM nor in game, and its a real pain trying to find all 100+ mods i use. is there some easy way to get a list of all my mods? my antivirus decided to remove a folder on my harddrive, where all my nexus mod manager downloads are stored, so all my skyrim mods, and fallout 3,4 mods are gone. i have no way to restore the folder due to the way i set up the drive(raid). any way for me to open a save file, and see a list of mods it wants? rather than have to launch the game, see what mods it wants, and try to find them based on .esm and .esp files. and do them 4 at a time? if any info is needed, please dont hesitate to ask.
  16. Alright. So recently I did a complete reinstall of Skyrim due to my game being absolutely destroyed by my amount of mods lol. Once I got done reinstalling the game I began slowly reinstalling my mods one by one. Everything was going smoothly (I was constantly booting up my Skyrim making sure my mods were functioning) until I got around to installing the Immersive Sounds - Compendium mod (I should add that before my reinstallation of Skyrim I had this mod and my game ran without CTD's with this mod for awhile.) that's when the CTD's started to occur. The CTD I'm getting occurs when I attempt to move my character. It doesn't matter what direction I move my game just crashes lol. I deactivated Immersive Sounds and my game was CTD free. I was able to move, jump around, and all that stuff. So I'm guessing that maybe I installed Immersive Sounds wrong? (I used the NMM installer) or maybe Immersive Sounds is doing something to the game's files that's causing the CTD? I then decided to try another sound mod to see if that would fix it. So I proceeded to uninstall Immersive Sounds and install Skyrim Audio Overhaul. Started to get CTD's similar to the one I was getting with Immersive Sounds. I need some help with this! Thanks! TL;DR? I'm getting CTD's related to sounds. Load Order Below. Things I've tried to attempt to do to fix this: - Ran LOOT and sorted my Mod Order to no avail :sad: -Tried uninstalling Immersive Sounds and tried installing Skyrim Audio Overhaul 2 (This caused CTD's similar to the one caused by Immersive Sounds) -Tried putting Immersive Sounds at the bottom of my load order. (Didn't work) -Tried putting Immersive sounds at the top. (Didn't work)
  17. In the FO4edit I see a description box, but any description I enter doesn't appear, I've looked at other references from items to see how they did it, but the description boxes are blank. Any help?

Hi there stranger I need help here , so reccently I found my old password for the first nexus account I made , back in 2012 , Id keep it for the years that show some kind of expirience but its stuck on my old closed email , and dont know the nexus forums pass [ I did try reseting and old pass no luck ] so eh , a dude in the chat told me to report this , Mods should remove with ever I point at the account goes under the name 2013doom has a profile picture of old FO1 art a really bad ass looking Vault Dweller the one with the 13 on the forehead ,I had 2 accs on a site before got IP blocked due to a bad joke with the admins and me forgeting I had a second acc so erh dont send me to hell please :D

So a while back I had this really cool mod or something else that showed when starting up the game required esp's. and when loading a save that had a specific esp. without the actual esp. a massage was popping out saying which esp. is missing in my load order that was enabled in the save file. Anyone knows? Btw sorry for any mistakes I've made.
  20. Hey! this is my first time posting on the forums so i hope i do this right. please excuse typos and grammar and syntax errors please. So once upon a time i had this mod that cause your character to spontaneously go into rag doll physics mod once you fell a certain distance or picked up a certain amount of vertical speed. the falls weren't often enough to kill you, but it made trying to navigate down sheer mountain faces more dangerous and interesting. I also seem to have gotten rid of the mod for reasons i no longer remember, and i want to use it again, but i can't seem to find it on the nexus. If you know which mod I'm talking about or know of a mod that does this, please let me know. Thanks!
  21. Has anyone yet retextured the lost longswords glass and elven swords to match BGM glass and elven armors? I feel that i speak for many when i request this retexture! i would love to see something like this done! Happy modding!
  22. Sorry if this is a request already answered. I did extensive searching (both on google and here) but couldn't find an answer. Any mods feel free to delete my post for being a duplicate if that's the case, as long as someone points me to the answer ;-) That being out of the way, my question is this: could somebody PLEASE make a mod that makes clairvoyance show you the correct route (no walking into walls and the like) to the destination of the only quest I have marked as active? I know most people will say "just look at the map! How hard can it be?" and the like, but to me, it's extremely difficult. In spite of having well above average general intelligence, I have absolutely HORRIBLE sense of direction and short-term memory, partially because of my ADHD. I tend to play melee characters and only use one spell, clairvoyance, and only when I get well and truly lost. Without clairvoyance, most complex single-level maps (some dungeons, the Ratways, even entire cities like Markarth and the like) would have me either abandoning otherwise enjoyable quests or trying over and over again to find my way until I'm no longer having any fun and am just going on stubbornness. For that reason, Clairvoyance is by FAR my favourite spell. That being said: I only use it after trying several times to find my way to the next objective and failing. When I'm at that point, that Donnie Darko-esque spear leading me straight into a wall (architectural or natural) with no obvious way around makes the game awful for a while. Sorry about being so long-winded, anyone know of a way to make sure that my beloved Clairvoyance doesn't desert me? ;-)
  23. so i downloaded TKchildren on NMM and i play vanilla skyrim. it says i have to deactivate the dragonborn and hearthfire dlc requiring files but i can't for the life of me figure out how!! i keep trying to find help but all the discussions say you have to 'tick' the files, but i don't know what that means, or even how to get to the files to begin with! please help!!
  24. I am looking for lost gems in the skyrim mods list. Would you all be helpful in telling me the "what it is" and the "why" of Mods you feel have been to over looked on nexus. I know there's a lot of things that'll cut down a mods downloads and once that happens it snowballs cause it's not as visible to new and inexperienced users,
  25. got logged off of steam and all mods and saves disappeared and haven't returned even after logging back on any help or suggestions would be appreciated
